Choco Musk Marshmallow

i don't find there to be any toffee or coconut and maybe lemon in a that there is a slight tartness? but i think it comes from strawberry and i agree with one of the review below that says the notes from the edp are most likely the oil's notes too. i get a sweet juicy strawberry mostly in the opening that i think does lasts for a few hours, albeit fainter. the marshmallow and vanilla carry the scent in the dry down and there is a bit of a chocolatey-ness to it but not as much as in the og choco musk. this scent is much sweeter and heavier on the marshmallow compared to the og. i think it makes sense to own both. it performs very well just like the og oil, very long lasting. i think it has less sillage than choco musk but that's okay. as for whether it's a dupe of YBM, i don't think so. it has the same strawberry marshmallow accord so there is a similarity but it's not very similar. i think it would layer well with it though, improving its longevity. overall, a very feminine gourmand that has excellent value for its price.

i'm not too sure why the al-rebab website lists those notes, but i believe that the notes listed on the edp is more accurate. on amazon, it lists "fluffy marshmallow and juicy strawberry for a playful, candy-sweet start. the heart warms with golden amber, while the base melts into a creamy embrace of vanilla, musk, and a hint of cacao" which i think is more accurate. this oil is quite simple, but is absolutely lovely for layering with ybm and her dupes, and i also enjoy layering this with sweet tooth. this is completely different than the edp, as this is what i imagined the edp to smell like, while the edp smells like gasoline to my nose. also, this oil is super affordable and while i bought mine on amazon for $11 cad, you could get it much cheaper at royal musk for $4 cad (i'm not affilated with them, i just wish i got mine elsewhere LOL)

the notes on the sprays listing match it better honestly, its lightly fruity and sweet and fluffy, its airy and does remind me of smelling a bag of marshmallows. this smells EXACTLY like sponch. those marshmallow cookies with a small amount of strawberry filling that they put on tres leches cakes sometimes. its a yummy scent and its very sugary, id guess the cocoa is giving me that slight cookie scent. there is DEFINITELY strawberry in this. no idea where these notes came from... wouldnt say it is a ybm dupe at all, it actually smells much closer to strawberry snowflakes from b&bw and they make a good layer (* ́∀`)♪

omg I much much prefer this to og choco musk. while they're both very much synthetic super sweet scents, this marshmallow version is so light and fluffy and girly and lovely. strawberry marshmallow cuteness that layers so well with literally everything. goes beautifully with my other gourmands but also works well with my darker scents to soften the vibe! longevity for this oil is incredible and really radiates. if I could bathe in this I totally would.

I love this perfume oil! So much nicer than the original choco musk. Layers beautifully with a lot of perfumes to sweeten them up slightly. Also great smelling on its own though too.

There's no strawberry note listed,but I smell it heavily! I don't ever smell the chocolate notes in this ,nor the original chocolate musk. Sooo fruity,I love it. (^w^)

The opening is very sweet, it's the toffee in it. You can sense the zest, but it's faint and it gives it a sense of freshness and playfulness. Not sure if I get the coconut in it, maybe it's the note that's balancing the other two out. After 15 minutes I'd say that the most prominent notes are now the lemon and vanilla. I usually don't like vanilla, but it's very delicate here. Still is sweet. I usually layer it with Yara by Lattafa due to their similarities, but Yara is more delicate and powdery, a summer scent, whereas this is more of a sweet, creamy scent with a certain depth to it, a winter one. Surprisingly got the most compliments with this one out of all perfumes I've ever had. Doesn't overpower the room with its smell, but people near you definitely will sense it. Not musky (usually gives me grandma vibes), not too heavy. Any age could wear it. More feminine, but it's not a stereotypical pink cloying female perfume. Amazing price. 9/10

I love the scent of this one. I think this is probably the first Al-Rehab perfume with a marshmallow-strawberry scent combo, as they usually make sweet caramel or fruity berries. It is a very cozy gourmand that can smell a whiff floral. My only issue is very weak longevity and projection. Also it still has that plasticky smell that ruins it a bit. Important note: The oil can cause burning or stinging sensation when applied to certain skin areas. If i applied this on my inner elbow, the skin there gets red and irritated, accompanied by stinging burn. I have this same issue with all the caramel, sweet, gourmand oils from Al-Rehab, so keep that in mind when purchasing. @ScentGaze you’re complaining that this marshmallow perfume smells too much of marshmallow? That sounds more like a compliment to me so shoutout Al-Rehab.

I hated this at first. To me, this had a nutty, burnt plastic smell on my skin. After sitting on my shelf untouched for a few months, I can now say that this is a near 1:1 Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow dupe. I'm wearing both right now, one on each wrist, and I genuinely cannot tell any major differences in scent. There is a slightly more chocolatey vibe from this where Kayali's has a fruitier vibe, but it's not big enough to be a major factor. One thing I will say is that this is projecting stronger than Kayali's. So this is definitely one to give a second chance if you wrote it off soon after purchasing like me.

I'm surprised there's no strawberry note listed here. I bought this product because it's said to be a dupe of Kayali's Yum Boujee Marshmallow (YBM). The first time I tried it, it smelled like gasoline. So I put it away for a couple of months. Now I find it similar to Paris Corner's Marshmallow Blush, which is a dupe of (YBM). Others have described it as smelling like chapstick and doll's head, which I can see. There is something very comforting about it.

I’m definitely getting a tart juicy strawberry like someone else said. No coconut unfortunately. I can maybe detect the toffee, but no chocolate. It has maybe the same sort of base DNA as choco musk but I wouldn’t say they’re all that similar. I like it, but it’s not marshmallow and it’s not chocolate haha. It almost has a little bit of an air freshener vibe, similar to the Spanish vanilla one

I also don't smell any strawberry, toffee, coconut or dark chocolate.Sweet vanilla and I smell a floral or spice scent. It's nice and less of a headache then the spray due to the 80% alcohol. I like it.

I bought this because of a bunch of reviews online. I bought mine on Amazon. I wanted it to really smell like chocolate but it was a total let down. The chocolate note stay on for like 5-10 minutes then fades into this very dominate-forward Cinnamon with marshmallow and a soft note of vanilla. This should have been named Cinnamon musk. Even though I don’t like the perfume oil I will say that it lasts about 3-4 hours. Which is great for the price. It just wasn’t what I was looking for. That and I can’t stand anything with marshmallows. I tried using this as a layer for my other cologne I own but I literally have to just dab on little dot bc I can’t roll it on my skin like I’m scribbling some kind of blob on each pulse point. Again the cinnamon -marshmallow scent takes over. The Spray version is a better but again the chocolate lasts about 15-20 minutes then fades into a caramel forward scent followed by cinnamon and marshmallow. Both the oil and spray make me sneeze. It isn’t just me, there a lot of people saying the same thing. :( overall I’d give it a 0.5/5.

This smells like Yum Boujee Marshmallow if it was in oil form. This is good!! (˶ ͈́ ᴗ `͈˶) 💗 I have the original Choco Musk oil as well and the two are very similar, especially in the dry down. But generally the marshmallow version is definitely giving YBM dupe and it’s a tad bit more sweeter, more fruitier & more feminine leaning than the OG Choco Musk which is more unisex

First 30 mins it’s YBM then Choco musk .good for layering cause marshmallow blush and dupes Does not last

it's got that 2000s synthetic sweet vibe which i really like. it's so yummy and feminine.
