Cup Cake EDP

Tested straight out of the box. The opening is very lemon-forward—sharp and citrusy—but it softens beautifully in the dry down into a creamy, buttery vanilla that reminds me of a freshly baked cupcake. It’s sweet, cozy, and quite gourmand. This is still a fresh bottle, so I’m letting it sit for a while in hopes that the longevity and projection will improve over time. As of now, it wears close to the skin, but the scent itself is absolutely delicious on me. Will update once it’s had time to macerate.

Sweet bakery scent but doesn't last long

Ok I did not want to listen to the reviews saying this was almost an exclusively lemon/citrus scent, to me it is. It’s a clean lemon scent and i don’t detect a lot of sweetness. Very summery almost in the way the vanilla can give a lemon sugar type of scent. HOWEVER the projection of this scent is entirely different than on skin or clothes. It gives a lemon glaze scent but it’s very passing and only noticeable when not paying much attention. The scent bubble is the best of this fragrance and is best (imo) when used as a layering piece to increase another scents overall sillage. The scent bubble is refreshing and an inviting playful vanilla, closer on skin alone it does smell like lemon cleaner unfortunately:c pairs amazing to increase the lasting power + strength of Iced Lemon Poundcake, Like its almost the exact Lemon glaze note ripped from the B&Bw scent and put into EDP. NOT a safe blind buy for anyone looking for a true cupcake scent. There is nothing to invoke cupcakes to me. The only gourmand way i could describe this is lemon candy, or an unbaked lemon bar with the slightest sprinkle of powdered sugar. the scent trail is the only reason I wear this perfume, i will update if the notes ever change with maceration.

Pleasant yet with a bit of thick heaviness, like a scented lotion or a sunscreen.

the name is so misleading if you are expecting a cakey gourmand. this is pure harsh lemon zest with no detectable sweetness. lysol floor cleaner to the max.
