Gender Bender That opens with a orange/grape note yet if i had to describe this fragrance using color i would say purple not lavender purple concord grape purple blend that with caramel candy this slowly develops to a unisex scent using spicy slightly citric woods and vanilla which keeps it from becoming totally feminine then it opens even more and beautiful florals start appearing in little hints ...to the untrained nose this might seem linear from the sweet grapey caramel carrying all the other notes as it starts opening it becomes subtly complex and quite beautiful as the orange portwine mixed with grape nerds candy fades the florals start to kick in but the gourmand heart keeps them balanced and slightly edging from becoming totally feminine i got 3 reactions within 6 hours of wearing this someone commenting the smell made them feel dizzy when i walked past them another stating "whoa" you smell like a gypsy.... as a man you need confidence with this one it borders on drugstore cheapie marketed to teenage girls but carry's the soul of a woody dark gourmand a olfactory enigma the sillage on this is deceptive i doused myself with the oil cause it came off quite faint with very little projection minutes later i was told the room smells headache inducing about 15 minutes later im projecting at least 6ft this is one of the few al rehabs that needs heavy application to really detect the notes i would not blind buy this if your a man who doesn't enjoy floral gourmands and gender bender scents the sweet portwine grape candy note requires a patient nose and confidence to let it develop those who do are in for a treat the florals and woods are so masterfully placed that it will leave u sniffing your wrist a beautiful fragrance this is not something to blind buy if sweet scents ain't your cup of tea 8.8 /10

REVIEW AT THE END, will someone PLEASE confirm if this was reformulated?? I bought a new bottle, and the familiar alcohol scent that dwindled over time is there, and the super strong orange with sandalwood is in the opening just like I remember. But I cannot for the life of me remember if the caramel just came out with maceration or if it should be there from the start. I'm getting very little caramel from my new bottle, sprayed it 3x max, but still. I'm about 70% sure it'll even out over time and I'll get the caramel back. If not that makes me really disappointed, I don't know of any fragrance that had such a perfect blend and balance, plus all it says on the website is "white florals, vanilla"??? There isn't even a page for the spray, only oil. I've gotten countless ai overviews telling me it was reformulated, nothing official. My all-time favorite perfume. My first Al-Rehab. And first Arab fragrance. It's a very sweet orange scent at first, then a spiced woody vanilla comes through that doesn't overpower the fragrance like most spicy vanillas do, I actually think vanilla makes it smell a little bit like anise. After maceration the caramel is the no. 1 I get, and it lasts the longest. I think the orange and sandalwood perfectly compliment each other, the orange is sweet like orange oil, but also smells similar to a blood orange rind. Wish there was a little more sandalwood tbh. Overall 10/10 even if this got reformulated into an orange vanilla floral it's still worth buying, regardless if caramel comes out it'll macerate into a beautiful vanilla. Genuinely the only items I've smelled that are similar to this is saunf mithai (sugared fennel) and a specific anise caramel apple tea blend that uses orange rind.

🖤This scent is so amazingly lofty and lovely. Angels created this scent I am certain of it. First off I do not smell any cinnamon in this thank goodness I never liked the rot smell of cinnamon. At first this perfume is like taking a alcoholic shot of 🍊Grand Marnier with 🍮caramel at the bottom of the shot glass with the rim of the shot glass coated with yummy 🍊orange marmalade. However that only lasts a few seconds. It dries down fast! .. It is very soft and beautiful once it does dry down. Its a yummy warm caramel vanilla but there is more. I also detect lemons and a slight tobacco. I cannot wear the roller balls anymore the oils because they turn rank on my skin for some reason so I've been buying the Al Rehab perfumes instead of the roller balls. I absolutely love this fragrance it is really VERY pretty and smells better than expensive perfumes I recently smelled at the mall. It is Gourmand but it's not overly sweet at all there is nothing offensive about this perfume. I cannot believe it was only $8.95. At first it's really pungent 🍊orange peel and then you can smell the 🍮caramel so gooey then sweet orange but very light and yummy I just cannot stop sniffing my arm. It is a 🍊fruity🍮 caramel vanilla dessert. Not decadent and rich but dainty and divooooooon. I think it smells like orange and lemon Italian biscotti cookies my gram and mom made on holidays and it has a plum wine vibe to it in the very best way. I agree with another reviewer that this has an almond or in my opinion slight amaretto vibe too it. It does smell like Al Rehab Golden Sand but this is a tad more fun and fruity. This does not project well but that is ok I prefer skin scents. And I like the shape of the bottle its actually stunning. ✨🌟✨

Dalal is a little powerhouse. It has a tiny 90's vibe to it but this might be because it reminds me in parts of the following original formulas: LouLou, Opium, Byzance, Kenzo Jungle, Tresor, Coco with a slight mix of tobacco.... When I was about 14 I had a friend who was 5 years older. She dressed impeccably classy, her hair was wonderfully sleek and shiny, she smoked menthol cigarettes and her vanity table was choc-a-bloc stacked with the above wonderful creations in their fantastic, gem-like bottles. I was a poor teenager, started working for pocket money at 15 so going over to hers was like entering Aladdin's cave. Stroking the clothes, smelling the bottles, looking up at her adoringly. Her room smelled like Dalal smells. Equal parts perfume, cigarette smoke and hairspray. Now to the notes. I'm actually not sure what I'm smelling here, I'm getting vanilla, tobacco, musk, there is maybe just a tiny hint of coffee, to me this is not a floral but there is a slightly fresher edge to it so there must be... perhaps gardenia? Not sure, maybe magnolia, something really elusive in that floral aspect. Above notes state orange.... not sure, maybe dry orange peel in that case. Sillage: 5/5 Longevity: 5/5 Projection: 5/5 I adore this. Edit: oh and Venezia, as Flowers-in-spring-time noted, definitely Venezia.

This is a review of the 50ml spray. Dalal was a blind buy after seeing it all over Tik tok. This is by far my favorite Al Rehab scent. It starts off a bit alcoholic but this quickly settles into a sweet caramel & citrus scent. The citrus is strong in the opening but this settles down into a warm and lovely caramel and vanilla scent with a hint of powder. I Absolutely adore this scent and I get a lot of compliments while wearing it. My mum says I smell like chocolate while wearing this and my Cousin says it reminds her of a soft serve ice cream, I'm guessing this is from the vanilla. As for me it reminds me of a delicious orange candy. The longevity of this is insane! On my skin I get a good 4-5 hours and on my clothes a whole 24+. I sprayed this on my gown At night and could still smell it the day after. Projection I'd say is intimate to moderate. I get nose blind to it fast (sad since I really love this) but those around me can still smell it and compliment me about it. You could always respray after a couple of hours to refresh it. For the price point, this incredibly amazing and a safe blind buy. If you love Gourmand fragrances, You will enjoy this. Mine is only halfway and I already bought a second one. I'll try the oil soon and then update you guys.

i have the spray and it's not quite what i expected. i kind of hated it at first, but i like it a lot better after letting it sit for a while. it's cozy but bright enough to not be the kind of scent that makes you want to go to bed. some people say they can't smell the orange, but for me, it's one of the most prominent notes. it's not a fresh, ripe orange scent though--it's a little vintage (from the sandalwood maybe?) like one of the old-school orange-flavored hard candies. the caramel and vanilla are pretty faint, but that's frequently the case for me--top notes tend to linger a long time on me and drown out some base notes. it's growing on me for sure though! there's an addictive, creamy quality to the drydown that makes me want more. sillage and longevity are both moderate--it starts out really strong but then pretty quickly dies off to a very light, intimate scent. edit: this NEEDS to mature and it needs to mature for a long ass time. it's been two years since my initial review and this is so much better now--i actually get the caramel notes now.

I bought the oil and I might have to buy the perfume to layer with it because I am in LOVE with this scent and I could not stop sniffing myself after I put it on. It's such a delicious, sweet, rich scent that it makes you want to just nuzzle into your own skin. I did go nose blind to it after about an hour, but after sniffing another perfume I was testing out and going back, I could smell it again, so although it seems like it has poor longevity, it's just a really cozy scent that you get used to quickly. It's going on hour 7 and it's finally faded. I can still smell it if I put my nose right up to it, but that projection is gone. Definitely a hit. Edit: Got the spray to layer with, and I love them both! The oil has a richer, sweeter, more caramel/sandalwood scent, while the spray has a brighter, more orange and vanilla forward scent. I love them both on their own but together it is absolutely addicting. It also gets REALLY strong when it's hot and humid, so it's perfect for the summer months.

To me, this fragrance is very reminiscent of some kind of gummy, fruity candy that I can't quite put my finger on. It's very fun, sweet, but not overly so. It's not so far out in any category, and because of that I feel like many people of all ages could wear this and enjoy it. I purchased it for less than $10 and for the price I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I put it in my category of "fresh out of the shower" fragrances simply because it's inoffensive and in a way reminds me of a fruity shampoo with caramel. I wish it came in a larger bottle honestly! I have a bottle that's been macerating for about 1.5 years and it has such a nostalgic feel to it, I love it. It pairs well with Viva La Juicy to make it more floral & "fresh". These Al-Rehab fragrances smell better and better the longer they sit IMO, but still good fresh out of the box :)

When I first got this, I was completely disappointed. I had been expecting lots of caramel with a tiny hint of citrus, but instead got an artificial sweet orange scent. After a few days, somehow my opinion flipped completely. This perfume is predominantly orange 🍊 to me, but definitely not citrusy. The opening has an intoxicating plasticy smell that I've come to adore for a summer scent (think plasticy beach toys and coppertone). Its light and definitely a skin scent for me, but I can't stop smelling it. I absolutely love it and have repurchased three times. My only complaint is that it doesn't last long enough on my skin, maybe an hour or two. For the price however, its very easy to reapply throughout the day. Other than that I think its perfect for summer and spring if you're looking for something sweet and light.

This fragrance is a real surprise and a real winner. Usually gourmands are not my favorite fragrances but occasionally I still will buy one, and I am glad that I bought this one. Not a huge sillage monster but Dalal is very pleasant. Not overly sweet but you detect caramel,vanilla,woods with a light orange in the background. If you are someone who loves Juicy Couture,BBW's Forever Sunshine,or Body Fantasies Sweet Sunrise -this would be an excellent fragrance for you to try. The only fault I find with this fragrance is that it does not have a lot of lasting power but I will try layering it with a matching lotion or body cream of some sort to give it some energy.

I love it! Especially since I don’t get burnt sugar or popcorn like I do in a lot of other caramel scents. It reminds me of the 90’s and early 2000’s, very nostalgic! I love all the notes listed so I suppose this was a no brainer for me. I’m also getting a floral note which helps it to not lean too into realistic or juvenile. I’m just getting into oils, but this, S+F Marshmallow Skies, S+F Vanilla Musk and Al R chocolate musk are probably my favorites! I can see myself always having this in my collection! Wish I would’ve ordered it sooner. I got this, soft and choco musk for $9.99 or something on Amazon. Not digging soft as much, though, but I’ll give it time.

#1466in my "Tour de Fragarnce" On price and quality alone this deserves a better rating. It's not complex. Basically you swap the orange for pineapple and you have Maison ALhambra's excellent "Signatures No. III." For me it's a nice break from all the similar scents that opt for synthetic bergamot, which is alway screechier than orange. This is kinda but not exactly like Widian "Yasat." It did remind me of Maison de Darius "Notorieta" one of the all-time great caramel scents, but has no citrus note. This has great longevity and projection for the money. Inoffensive and appropriate for any wear or environment. Totally safe and successful blind buy.

This is one of my favorite fragrances of all time, and I think one of the best from Al Rehab. It's a lovely caramel fragrance, with some woods, florals and citrus in the background. Not too sweet, but definitely gourmand. I don't think this smells similar to Soft, which I also love. In Soft, the citrus is more prominent, making the overall fragrance reminiscent to froot loops cereal. Dalal reminds me more of Viva La Juicy, or it's excellent dupe Sweet Sunrise by Body Fantasies. I like to wear these two together, and when I do the resulting fragrance is low sillage, but reminds me strongly of Dial's marula oil body wash, which smells fantastic.

This really reminds me of Escada Collection; which was my "signature scent" for a time in my life. It smells very "cherry-vanilla" to my nose, with slight burnt-caramel undertones. I hadn't smelled Collection in many years, and when I saw the reviews here, I decided to try Dalal. I have to say, Crown Perfumes put American/European manufacturers to shame. This oil is a rich, pristine quality "parfum" and so cheap it's ridiculous. I've been burned out on industry releases for some time, and I find oils (i.e. Sage, Kai, etc.) fill my need for fragrances that last on my skin and inspire my moods.

Got this in an Al Rehab bundle last winter and it was ok when I first tried it,but now that I’ve taken my fall scents out,it’s macerated into a richer caramel sandalwood that is absolutely divine. Of course, as with all of the Al Rehab edp scents in the 1.7 oz bottles, it only lasts about 2-3 hours, but it’s conveniently small enough to put in your purse for reapplication. Can’t beat 9 bucks, and this could easily layer with the oil version or Attars Amoura and Maitha for a bit of longevity. Perfect cheapie for super casual days when I don’t want to wear my more expensive gourmand scents.

I see the similarities in this and “soft” by al-rehab, but this is a more “heavy”, strong scent. It’s not as well-blended, but that lets each note stand out more, especially the sandalwood (one of my personal favorite notes!). It acts like a base so the warm, concentrated orange (it almost smells like an orange jam?) can make itself known, and the caramel/vanilla play supporting characters (and they would win an oscar for best supporting actors!). It’s a bit more simple in design, but comes out with more of a layered depth than “soft” does on my skin... very unique and lovely fragrance!

Deliciously caramelized orange and vanilla with that sandalwood backing! I smell exactly what the scent notes say in perfume form, and considering the price, this is one I never feel guilty about spraying whenever and wherever! I drift off to sleep in sweet-scented heaven these days. For the price, you wouldn’t expect it to have such amazing lasting power, but I’m still catching whiffs of this today after a few hours of chores, a four hour nap, and an outfit change! Definitely love this one. Will have to look into other Al-Rehab scents I think!

On my skin, Dalal has a synthetic and almost rancid top note. In fact, I was sure that something was wrong with the oil and I was going to 'air it out' and decant it into another bottle to see if it could be saved. However, before I had time to follow through with this plan, Dalal became a dead ringer for one of my favorite perfumes of all time, Escada Collection. The 'rancid' somehow disappeared and in its place were caramel, sandalwood, orange blossom and the slightest ever tuberose. My husband keeps saying, 'you smell SO good!' And I do.

I love sweet scents so blind bought this off the notes alone and I'm wasn't disappointed! yummy caramel goodness. Although I will say i don't get any orange notes at all on clothes or my skin. For me it's mostly caramel, vanilla, and dried fruits but not orange. I also get the sandalwood bottom note which im glad for. Lasted a good 4-5 hours before i felt like it faded enough to want to reapply, but the price point for it is great and I won't feel guilty for spritzing until my heart desires

This fragrance is so slept on. It reminds me of fall - cozy and warm, nostalgic. Some of these reviews blow my mind as I usually pick up strange notes in perfumes but this one I get exactly the ones it is described with. Mostly caramel and sandalwood with a touch of orange. It reminds me of Kayali’s wedding velvet santal with its warm, rich woodsiness. I have no idea where anyone is getting fruity notes from (other than the slight hint of orange). It’s a great fall/winter scent.

This is way better than Fancy by Jessica Simpson . Okokokok now what this smells almost exactly like when it dries down.......PLUM WINE !!!!! Yessssss plum freakingggg wine🍷 goooosh OHHH and it also smells like orange lemon biscotti my Italian gram and mom made on holidays or Torrone Italian nougat. This is such a lovely pair with Parfums de Marly Safanad that I pretty much can't wear it with anything else. I use the roll-on oil on my wrists, my neck and collarbone, and behind my knees, before dousing my whole body with Safanad. If you own both, do this, and you will thank me! The orange in Dalal is subtle, but not unnoticeable, which is great. The caramel is very pronounced but doesn't overpower the vanilla. I love this brand and will be purchasing more from them!

One of my favorites of these inexpensive, great-smelling oils. I have both the roll-on and the perfume spray and usually layer them together. At the top, I get very little citrus and then it moves right into a sweet, smooth, caramel vanilla that lasts all day on me, yet it's unobtrusive to others. If you like gourmands as I do, you should like this. I even bought the room spray! It is similar to their other creation, Golden Sand, and Al Haramain's Dhahab.

I am so surprised at the number of negative reviews on this one. Dalal on its own smells really good. A warm caramely floral citrus smell.....but mix it with their Midnight roll on and/or the Rasha roll on and oh my goodness it's amazing. These perfume combinations consistently get compliments from people wanting to know what smells so good. The aroma is not overwhelming but projects perfectly. I will never be without these 3 roll ons.

I really enjoy this book one. Right now I just have the oil, but I’ve been wearing it so much recently that I have the spray perfume coming as well. It’s just a very comforting, sweet, cozy scent. I get caramel, some spices, sandalwood and something fruity. The notes list orange but I’m getting something more like apple. It layers beautifully with other fragrances, with my personal favorite being with This is Her by Zadig & Voltaire.

I love this fragrance! I tried to put two perfumes this reminds me of but was unable to so here goes! Guess by Marciano and Gold Sugar by Aquolina. Both are discontinued and I’m holding onto what I have left in my bottles so this is great as a substitute! Exact dupe for either? No but very close to satisfy the craving. Affordable and easy to come by. Lasts and gets noticed. I need more thu,ms so I can give it more thumbs up!

starts strong and alcoholic but lightens up quickly. doesn't last too long and needs to be reapplied relatively often, but i personally love the scent-- smells sweet and warm, and i mainly pick up vanilla/caramel, tobacco, a bit of honey, and very little citrus. as of november 2022, you can find a 1.65fl oz. bottle for around $13-15. great price for a great perfume. this is one of my most complimented perfumes i own.

I've bought all of my Al-Rehabs as blind buys and this is one of the best. Part gourmand, part oriental. Prominent orange with vanilla, lashings of caramel and a touch of wood. Mellow and soothing enough to be worn at any time. The roll-on fragrance washes over you in edible waves, whereas the spray is a little lighter. Somewhat feminine but can be confidently worn by a 35+ guy who is comfortable with smelling yummy.

i love it! for me smells very citrusy and spicy but more sugary ambery caramel on the dry down. people think it’s warm vanilla sugar from bbw. great performance for under $10, especially the sillage. if i spray it on myself before i leave home, my room will still smell like it when i come back. lasts 5-6 hrs on skin but FOREVER on clothes and hair. highly underrated, perfect for date night, great blind buy!

Wow, I love this! This was the winner from my recent Al Rehab haul. Delicious orange and caramel. I have Bonbon and I can see a slight similiarity, but honestly this is more in line with what I expected from Bonbon (which is more powdery to me). This perfume is STRONG, I could easily see it being cloying if you oversprayed but I'm impressed with the performance considering the price. It also lasts forever.

Beautiful caramel and some florals. I don't get much of the citrus, but the notes discussed in the reviews here seem to be quite varied. I got the oil roll-on and find that it's perfect for layering, though potentially a bit too sweet or feminine for me on its own. I find it to be 75% of a gourmand and 25% a skin scent, but I don't get a tonnn of musk (it just reads like a more complex caramel).

😍 "Dalal" is gorgeous. it's smooth, creamy, and blended so well, nothing is too pronounced or overpowering. like they knew just how much of each ingredient would make it perfect. so nice, anybody can wear this literally anytime. so popular, it's often sold out, but indeed worth the wait. silky, milky, and sexy as anything, this is one you absolutely MUST try. well done, Al-Rehab. well done.

Just want to update: I wore this today for first time out and got 7 compliments. These people cant be wrong. My budtender said i smell like creme soda and cookies haha she loves she hurried up and got pen to write it down. So i am buying her and I a few bottles. This juice is addictive. So inexpensive its ridiculous. For me its 🍮caramel 🍨 vanilla 🍦heaven sweet candy 🍬🍭 Happy weekend 🐰🐰🐰🐰

She’s so pretty. I read some of the reviews where ppl said they get nothing and I lucked out. Mine is so soft and pretty! I love her. A soft, smooth caramel vanilla with a hint of orange. The hint of orange gives a little brightness. I hope she gets stronger with time (1 month old). My only gripe is the bottle cap is really loose. You can’t beat this for only $7. Go buy her now!

I like to dab this oil on my wrists and neck sometimes when I wear BR540 extrait, Sci-Fi by Ellis Brooklyn, Sicily by Mancera or Instant Crush by Mancera. I wouldn’t wear it on its own because it just doesn’t do too much for me, in comparison to Choco Musk, which I don’t mind wearing alone. Nonetheless, paired with other fragrances, this is fantastic.

For the ROLL-ON OIL - I’m surprised this is such a sweet scent. When I wear it, it is sweet, but I think the woody & spicy notes stay on my skin better. So I find it to be a nice natural/floral scent. I find it more fresh and woody than a caramel or gourmand fragrance. Maybe that’s a difference of the oil compared to the spray perfume though

I bought this from india ebay buyer. Received from 1st week →I just get orange wired note.Something like BO. Where is caramel? 2nd week→It gets slightly sweet.Mmmm I get something like Grandma vibe.. 3rd week→This is just heeeeeeeaven!!Sweet Caramel syrup Sandalwood paradise, nice sillage all day. Great experience on fasting state.

This is one of my favorite caramel scents. It opens up light, with a well rounded citrus smell that is the perfect counterbalance to the vanilla/caramel base this sits in. It stays a very light caramel, even a little powdery perhaps. I personally like wearing this on date nights, as it's fun and feminine and sweet.

I love this scent it starts off with burnt sugar and citrus then fades into a sweet powdery vanilla mixed with a bit of woodyness. This is great for winter and spring but could definitely be worn year round 10/10 would recommend as a safe blind buy especially if you like sweet perfumes that aren't overpowering.

Comforting, sweet-oriental gem. Although it slightly reminds me of some other vintage fragrances, somehow this is a unique and different scent. I would say this is one of my favourite perfume, but unfortunately it doesn't last so long. It might be best to keep it in the handbag and reapply it every 2-3 hours.

This is stunning!! The opening is stunning. Creamy orange with a syrupy sugary buttery note that I can’t just can’t put into simple words. I’ve transformed into a delectable human being when I wear this. I have the oil but will be getting the spray to layer on top. Dry down is pure vanilla and a little sugar.

Love this fragrance. Delicious, salty caramel. A spray lasts for maybe two to three hours on me, which is amazing for the price. My mom commented on it yesterday and today (most scents, especially gourmands, make her sick), she surprisingly loved it, so I gave her mine and will be repurchasing it ASAP.

have tried to get my hands on the spray here but its tough to find the spray here the oils are very easily available. I have the oil and it is gorgeous. delicious caramel and still a little fresh? I'd bathe in this if I could get my hands on the spray love love love

Love this, I have the roll on version... it just doesn't last. But its just one more addition to my delicious arsenal of vanilla based frags. If this was stronger it would be supreme. But for the price, just do it, nothing to loose if you like vanilla based scents.

I have the oil version. It lasts long. Just getting caramel and citrus, perhaps a bit of nuttiness. It's good for the price, nothing too special or groundbreaking. It's my favourite Al-Rehab scent so far, I've tried a couple others and I didn't like them.

I love it! First off, understand that it is $10. You get a woosh of alcohol in the beginning. It’ll settle onto your skin a nice, light, sweet honey, caramel, orange dream. Blink and you’ll miss it, but spray more on and relive the moment!

I have the spray version of this, and simply love the fragrance. However, I find it lacking as far as longevity and projection. For that reason, I am definitely going to be getting the roll-on oil version.
