I am SO impressed by this. Just dug it out of my arsenal. Dotted my wrist, sniffed went on. 5 hours later, I just keep getting wafts of something like a beautiful sweet jasmine, or gardenia. If you remember the good ol Jovan Gardenia, or Avon Honeysuckle oil from back in the day, or even (one of my favorites to this day, Liz Taylors. I have backups of that, just in case....This will have to be my 2nd fave from Al Rehab, Choco Musk OIL is my baby. I used to buy that by the 6 packs. The spray....Ummm, it's better than it used to be. When they first put that out, it was water. I just ordered 3 of these (buy2, get one). At $5 bucks a pop, yep, I'll put one in my bag, my car, wherever. Stunning! Last power is insane! I need to see if there's a spray....:) 11/10 Update: Just read a few reviews. I think mine must have changed over time as well, b/c I do not remember this smelling like this when I bought it several years ago. THIS is my Jam & I would have remembered that. I think this might be one that needs to settle. I will know for sure when I get these 3 bottles headed my way! Edited to add~ Tonight I rolled it all the way around my wrist & now I remember this indolic oil. The key here, is how much you apply. The entire roll around the ol' wrist is too much for me. The "dab" was gorgeous, for hours! So the big roll around IS like Ananya. Less is more w/ this one for sure.

This is for the 6ml oil Yumpin yimony! No mater were I turn with these Al Rehabs the first blast is almost always of laundry products or air freshener! I know Saudi Arabian Muslim culture puts a huge emphasis on personal hygiene but to smell as if you put your skin through the washing machine before giving it a 70 minute tumble dry with 70 dryer sheets? Well anyway I can't say I don't like it because who doesn't like to smell freshly laundered but I now have at lease 12 such scents to choose from! It's also reminding me of something in my childhood. Maybe something my mother used around the house, a scented toy, or a bubble blowing soap/perfume I had as a kid, or a shampoo. As it dries down it becomes very tropical and a little less laundry. For the price this is quickly turning into love! It smells nice on my wrists but best on my inner elbows. Update: I layered this under Al rehab roses and it's Beautiful.

You start off strong with refreshing grape 🍇 soda ...and a tad of 🍐 pear and 🍑 peach.I smell a hint of bubble gum ...It's a delicious JUICY but soapy sensory delight. You're a sharp floral 💐however very clean and very balmy Nothing offensive. You have a huge sillage with incredible staying power. You are inexpensive you smell very luxurious on me and expensive. LOVE this. I've had the oil for years (which is an absolute powerhouse. I mix it in hair products and other oils) Finally got the edp spray today. (Haven't reviewed yet on my channels) If the oil is too sharp and punchy for you, try the edp.. its much easier to wear and more of the florals and freshness and ozonic tropicalness comes out. I Love it. Yes, very 90s but timelessly appealing imo unless you dont like fruits & florals. I've gotten several compliments. (spray vers) can't stop thinking about where it all began... 💭💬 smelling this, i get taken way back when it all began to when i was a wee little boy spraying any fragrance i saw in sight. so sweet, elegant and feminine! such a whimsically wonderful scent: litchi, grapes, sweet florals, candied-fruit, a hint of peach and a pinch of musk and maybe even vanilla... mm mmmm mmmmm! a little nauseating and headache inducing because of how sweet this is.. but perhaps it's because i spray so much... sigh... scent: 8/10 - sweet! longevity: 8/10 - the roller probs lasts longer.

Wow this smells so delicious, like straight up berry nectar. There are flower notes as well, to me it reminds me of peony and maybe a bit of rose. Quite surprised it projects so well! Reminds me of a warm late spring or early summer when the first berries come in but the peonies are still in bloom! I like that it is not too sweet but also not tart, like when you just start boiling berry syrup. Really brings back memories of summer There is also a slight powderyness to it which gets more pronounced with time and I find it compliments the other notes well.

"Elena" is a delicious fruity, floral. It is feminine and uplifting. When I first started wearing it, I kept thinking everyone else around me smelt lovely, and then realised it was me! In other words, when I wear it I keep sensing different aspects of the Fragrance, and it does seem very multi faceted. The litchi is definitely there, as are white florals. Elena also has great longevity and sillage,and is so reasonable. Al rehabs are definite high scorers in that regard. :)

Oil Version: I smell an amazing sweet peach shampoo/grape soda with a yellow flower kick! Beautiful ylang-ylang and so easy to wear. This is true Teen 90s perfumery! The "clean shampoo" effect is surely provided by the white musk, the pear is detectable. This is a simple, delicious perfume, tropical and very nice to wear in spring/summer. A good everyday scent.

OOPS! You left your Grape Bubble Yum in your pants pocket! Tide, Grape B. Yum, & Fabric Softener. Clean! I do smell the "weird" scent some are talking about. They should tone that down a bit, it's taking the greatness away. I did have Ananya back in the day, it's def in that family..Al Rehab kills it with Choco Musk tho! . Natalie N On Youtube xox

This is such a beautiful scent. To whoever discovered that this was a dupe for Ananya (my mothers favourite perfume as a young woman) Thank you so much! Her face lit up when I gifted it to her, as Ananya is nearly impossible to find. She said it smells just like it!!

Yesterday... I bought it.. I am really excited... It smells real good.. Fruity tutti.. Hahaa... Related to grape scented... I love it... Bubblegum... Yes. . it contains it... Would recommend to the one who likes fruity perfumes...

Definitely like Ananya, if you liked that one. I am wearing Elena today along with Ananya body lotion. Pretty much the same fragrance, although I'd say Elena has more kick.

Projects like a monster! Spot on dupe for The Body Shop Ananya. I missed that fragrance so much and I am so happy to have it back in my collection after all these years.

This feels very fresh,fruity and clean. Its as if the Peach and Pear are fighting with each-other,and my nose cannot decide which is stronger or which to attach itself to. Furthermore, although I'm not 100% sure that it is Ylang-ylang (as it is quite a synthetic smell) - it provides a strong supporting role throughout. As the beginning, it can be quite overpowering. This perfume brings back memories,but I am unable to decide or remember what it reminds me of. I don't remember Body Shop's Ananya, unfortunately. It seems to settle down quite nicely after a while, the dry-down seeming almost Bubblegum-like. I rather enjoy this one, and cannot help but sniff my wrists! This was a review for the oil version.

Weird that mine doesnt smell fruity or peachy at all. This smells identival to charlie red. Maybe they bottled it wrong? I checked and checked and it is Elena that im referring to. Its green, spicy, tuberose. All the times ive worn Elena i get charlie red all the way. No peach or fruit. Maybe climate is to blame? Ill try this again in winter, maybe then ill get the fruits. Its still tuberose and spicy green as of now in summer. I love it!

Quite pleasant in a clean cheerful shampoo/:dryer sheet air freshener way. On the late drydown there is a note I wish I could identify!!! A classy sort of smell that once I tire of it, reminds me of '80's pump spray AquaNet hairspray at the end of the day. I also smell this at the very late drydown of Swiss Arabian's Kashka oil and Sawalef's Khol Al Ayoun. I suspect a large aldehyde...any ideas?

I like it but the love for this depends on my mood. It’s smells like luxurious incense. Floral and fruity at the same but. But when the weather is cool, dry and bright then I could sense a fresh soapy small also in the dry down. And I love this fresh soapy smell hints. So my love for this is only for the weather I mentioned above. Rest it’s too much indecency for me..

i wore TBS Ananya for nearly a year in the early 90s, and still have some of the perfume oil to compare and yes, this is astonishingly, heart-wrenchingly similar! trufax. it isn't an exact dupe, but if you loved that you'll probably almost certainly love this, too. i like this better than Ananya. it also reminds me a fair bit of the original formulation of Realities.

I love this fragrance! I've got the oil not the spray edp but the oil is lovely! reminds me a lot of the angel nova flanker which was very lychee heavy and I loved it, especially in the warmer months. this layered beautifully with GA My Way, and elevated the fruity and floral notes beautifully. very much an underrated scent from al-rehab!!

Instantly I'm reminded of the Body Shop's Ananya, it's really fruity with a hint of bubblegum. I think the litchi is the most prominent note. Western-smelling for sure and I agree about the soapiness of this perfume, it does smell clean. Sillage seems okay but I won't know until I've worn it for a day.

I have Sandra and my friend has Elena, so I was able to test them side by side. They're not similar at all. Sandra is similar to Fantasy by Britney Spears and Elena is a very sweet, candy like scent, smells like those Brach's Abra Cabubble Bubble Gum xD

I love this 😍 .... I do a oil of this bt naah ..go for a perfume spray if u can ..bczz this one is lighter more fresh bt too fruity in both ( so make sure u love fruity fragrance) .. smells way more delicious in spray 🙈 perfect for summer spring

I bought this probably 2 years ago and remember I hated it. I put it in my guest bathroom. I recently used it again and omg. It smells nothing like it did. I get the juicy fruits, light florals, clean musk. It’s beautiful now!

Fred Hayman 273 Rodeo Drive dupe. Sweet, purple, playful but bold.. This last and last beyond a shower. Longevity and sillage powerhouse on me. My review for 273 would be identical for this one.

Elena is a delicious fruity floral scent! It's sweet but not overpowering, and has a really nice tropical vibe. Perfect for summer days.

I have the oil. It smells like a super sour and sweet grape mixed with laundry detergent. At first I liked it, but after wearing it all day I feel nauseas and I can't wait to scrub it off and change clothes. It seems that fruity Al-Rehab scents are not my cup of tea because they either smell super sour or they end up smelling like some sort of bathroom cleaner. Soft and Choco Musk are the only ones I can do because they're more gourmand.

I wore anaya for a week long school ski trip when I was 13. Its discontinued so I wanted to revisit some old memories. I manged to get into a lot of bother on that trip after finding out that it was very easy to purchase vodka in Italy. Elena reminds me of sickly sweet bad decisions, exactly how I remember it.

Straight up washing powder. And that too a really strong scented one. The only reason i haven't parted with this one is because it layers nicely with certain scents and second of all the drydown (which comes like after 5 hours) is actually kinda nice.

Is anyone else getting a strong and distinctive jasmine sambac undertone in this? I'm sniffing the oil version and I'm getting what I think is ylang-ylang (strong yellow floral), but I also smell something almost offensively indolic so I'm thinking it's jasmine sambac. I'm also getting a way more mature fragrance than I thought based on reviews; definitely no grape, litchi, or fruitiness at all. In fact, my mind flashed back to L'air du Temps the last time I smelled it in the late 90s. I'm honestly a bit scared to put it on my skin because of that strong indole note running through it, but I'll bite the bullet and do so before tossing it in the bin or giving it away. EDIT: so I had my mom try it and she almost vomited LOL. She let me smell it and I almost lost my lunch, too, and then she scrubbed it off as I tossed it in the bin posthaste. Smelled even worse on her and reminded both of us of women who insist on using vintage aldehydic/white floral fragrances that have been off for thirty plus years. Honestly, it smelled like literal sh-- on her skin and reminded me of decaying Casa Blanca lilies and rotten banana peels (like expired ylang-ylang oil). Just hideous...

I think I am smelling something similar to DarlingNikki. Maybe we have similar skin/noses or got a batch that went off? I got the faintest bit of grape on immediate application which disappears completely, and then primarily a mothball-like smell that is morphing into a strong industrial soap with blaring loud lily/yellow flower smell at the 10 minute mark. It continues to become more floral on me, but still no sweetness. Then around 20 minutes in I get the faintest whiff of what others might be calling bubblegum but it's still overpowered by whatever the opening is. There is a scent similarity to cassis leaf which I am not a fan of but I know is a "fresh" scent to others. Still zero sweetness or tropical notes. This is getting washed off now. I really like Sandra and this is absolutely nothing like it.

Blind buy of my partner's; they were looking to find a new fragrance after their Secret Lady ran out with a desire for a fruity scent. Unfortunately for both of us, Elena delivered on the fruity note, in the same way a slightly burnt vape lovingly spits hot juice onto your tongue. Smells like a Lychee Ice Geek Bar that's been languishing lost in the cluttered glovebox of a young adult's first beater car, baked by summer heat and resentful.

The pear top note in Elena promised me a fresh fruity floral. It didn’t keep its promise though. In the perfume’s heart It handed me to a syrupy peach and rosewater combo (probably the litchi with the floral notes). This combination usually doesn’t sit right with my chemistry and makes me feel queasy. I can sense some wood or patchouli in the base. I wish I could sense more of the white musk to lighten it up, but alas Elena is not for me.

Ugh. I tried really hard to like this, but I found it a mess. It’s like super synthetic grapes and berries, mixed with incense (?? No idea what note is causing that for me), very potent while it lasts. Not a fan at all.

Whatever over powering floral is in this, it takes the whole thing over to where you can't smell anything else. Rose or peony. I am not fond of peony but rose need to blend in and not take over for me to not like it. I don't know what washing powder is to compare it to that. There is nothing nice about this. No berries, no pear, just overwhelmingly musty stink imo

this smells only overwhelmingly floral to me. no fruits just some unknown flower. tried to wear it once and had a headache all day. to make matters worse it was really really difficult to wash off.

I'm not sure what to make of this yet. It's not offensive... in fact, I think I like it the more I smell it. For some reason, though, I get the feeling that it smells better straight on the skin than a whiff that a passerby would get. I'm afraid the projected fragrance would smell cheap. At first sniff, I was instantly reminded of a berry candle. I can truly see how someone would think "soap". It has a waxy kind of smell to it. Must be the litchi? I now own Sandra and Elena, and I can attest that while they are both marketed to a younger Western crowd, they are not similar to me. Sandra is definitely a better blend, more balsamic, ambery, and contains vanilla. Sandra was love at first sniff and I immediately bought the six-pack. I used to own Fantasy and Sandra is actually a better version of it. Elena is straight fruitiness without anything else. Not the usual drugstore fruity, though. There's just something in it that is very strange. I can't lie... I don't have enough confidence in this oil to wear it in public.

Imlovespapa Thank You for saying this smells just like Revlon's Outrageous shampoo and conditioner!! I was obsessed with the scent of that as an young teen! I received my roll on oil today, and you're right. The dry down is that delicious Outrageous scent I so distinctly remember! Great idea for using the spray to scent hair! I will be buying a bottle for that purpose and another for my body!! If anyone knows of any other shampoos that have that delicious scent please guide me in the direction. I know I can purchase on eBay. But it's hard as a licensed cosmetologist to pay so much for shampoo and conditioner that isn't professional. I may have to bite the billet and do it anyway. Sexy, fresh, clean scent! My newest favorite Al-rehab attar!

I was so excited to get Outrageous shampoo scent others are smelling, but was hugely disappointed. It is my skin, for sure, because it smells great in the bottle. The second it touched my skin it turned into cheap bathroom deodorizer. Just horrible! I put up with it for half an hour, hoping it would change, but I couldn't stand it and had to scrub. The same thing happened with Nadine. Seems like none of the Al rehab florals are working for me, but these are the first that my chemistry completely freaked out on.

I read the description of litchi, and learned it does have a similarity with grape. This is a VERY fruity fragrance, with overkill during the first ten minutes. After this the white floral is more apparent, although the fragrance remains fruity until it disappears, which takes quite a while. I recommend wearing this in cooler weather. Not appropriate for office wear, as you will leave a fruit trail wherever you go. I like it, but would only wear it in wide open spaces, like most of the other Al-Rehab line.

Sweet indeterminate tropical fruits, light musk, and cheerful cherry blossom! The scent begins by being as sweetly intense as Lifesaver candies, and progresses to a kind of loudly tropical shampoo. This may be good or bad, depending upon your associations, but it's definately a happy, uncomplicated aura. Though by no means earth shatteringly serious, I believe Elena would prove great fun for your Tropical Scent / Cherry Blossom Enthusiast!

This is vile. I got the spray. Rotten lilies are the only thing that come to mind, but they would smell better and less cheap and synthetic. Good job it was cheap, straight to charity shop it goes. I tried layering it with other scents but it's rotten musk poked through. I like Sabaya, Choco Musk, Lovely, and Nebras by Al Rehab though.

Elena starts as a blast of grape soda (lychee) with some clean laundry smell. As it develops, the flowers and other fruits start showing. It smells very fresh and clean, almost shampooish. The dry down is mostly tropical fruits and musk. Good sillage and longevity, great bargain if you are into clean aromas.

From vague memory (two weeks ago) and to add a review briefly, i was very excited when i came across this perfume oil. To my disappointment it was a strong, cheap smelling scent similar to Sandra (Sandra to me is much nicer) but i think it was the litchi notes that put me off.

Sweet syrupy peachy goodness. It smells like a air freshener my mom used to have back in the nineties but that’s a good thing for me. Very nostalgic. The sillage and longevity of Elena is probably the best out of all 10 al-Rehab scents that I have. It lasts and lasts.
