This is a beautiful scent and is the fruit bowl experience I was hoping for when I blind bought Tiziana Terenzi Kirke but that one was a fruit bowl fail for me. I purchased Fruit Al-Rehab for the Dewberry comparisons and for me it's about 80% there. A closer dupe for me is Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi. That said, I will treasure my Fruit-Rehab in it's own right for that luscious sparkling burst of ripe fruit in the heat of summer, I love it! Edit - after a full.day wear, this approaches Dewberry more and more over the arc of the day, giving it a 90% similarity at this point. I still also love my Fico di Amalfi for a slightly more lemony approach to the Dewberry. Both of these together whet the nostalgia I had had for that clinking of glass and luscious fruity scent that you got at the Body Shop's scent bar of old.

This is very much like TBS Dewberry, I would say 85-90% like it. I was pleased when I found this in my stash as I gave my TBS Dewberry perfume oil away long ago. If you love (and miss) Dewberry this is worth a try. I don't associate this fragrance with teenagers, I associate it with the 80s and 90s at a time when the world seemed a lot less complicated. Like the original this packs a powerful punch if used too liberally - I recall newspaper stories of Dewberry stinking out offices and workers being disciplined for doing so. Sadly, off topic, I agree with people who say that The Body Shop has lost its way. This is often the case with organisations whose founders die or quit the day to day running. I hope it finds its mojo again soon, hopefully when it is sold.

I have had TBS Dewberry on my mind lately and the eBay search provided enough bottles with a hefty price tag. I couldn't see spending $70-200 on a 1OZ bottle of oil so I opted to try this first at $3 on Amazon. Im sure if I had a time machine and went back to 1992 to compare this to my beloved Dewberry, I may pick up on the differences, however without that little bottle of oil side by side, I can smell no difference. This immediately transported me back to Kim's driveway, picking her up to head out to Caffeine or the Limelight, or wherever the Rave was that night. This is such a great memory jogger, even if it isn't for everyday for me, the nostalgia is worth the wear. Fruit has given me back some great memories that have been long gone.

I don’t find this to be a sharp fruit smell I find this to be more of a spicy fruit smell, more like you’re walking through an Arabic market and you can smell the fruits and the spices of the market that is the feeling I get from this fragrance and I must say I love it! I can see myself using this as a layering oil to add a little bit of spice and fruit to other scents. This is a 10 out of 10 in my book

Strong fruit punch opening with a musky dry down, great for summer. I get some red berries that are not listed. The oil roller is super concentrated so 4 dots and I'm done.

I have the oil. This smells pretty good. At first it was just kind of a sweet citrus smell that I couldn't really put my finger on so my brain just decided it was orange and lemon. After sitting on the skin for a while it started to smell different, more like tropical fruit so I came back to look at the notes and now I definitely smell pineapple and banana mixed in with the citrus. That's basically the only fruits I can smell. Sillage and longevity are just moderate. If you put the oil in an area that might touch your clothes, it will last longer if it gets on your clothes a bit. It's a nice cheapie for summer time and smells like something you could get from Bath and Body Works. Edit: The more I smelled this, the more it smelled like fruity bathroom cleaner. It seems the only Al-Rehab fragrances I enjoy are Soft and Choco Musk. Fruity scents from this house smell like cleaner or smell very sour and nauseating.

Before I begin with this review a quick word regarding gender. Why oh why is this classed as a female fragrance? I get it, I understand, I've said before - floral fragrances have usually been the preserve of women, woody and oakmoss for gentlemen. But this is fruit. Fruit. Anyway, what can be said of this little wonder. It's Al Rehab, which means a good quality oil at a very low price. The smell, perfect; not unlike a big bag of jelly sweets. To break wind in an elevator, it has been said, is wrong on so many levels. But what if the breaker of wind were a gummi bear? Essence of Haribo, that could be an alternative name for this oil. Longevity is about 5 to 6 hours with a couple of rolls around the neck; sillage moderate. Al Rehab Fruit - For woman, for man, for everyone.

So happy I decided to try out a few of the Al Rehab oils! This one is no exception! Fruit undeniably starts off with a bit of a synthetic edge that I admit was initially off putting. I am forgiving of this, because I believe this "chemical" may be necessary for it to be the amazing powerhouse it is! It does not take very long before the magic begins though, and Fruit unfolds into a most delightful and unusual scent experience. This oil is quite strong and the impression is of somewhat spiced cooked fruits initially with a faint mull wine accord, and then it morphs into this mixture of rich, ripe fruits that give off a fabulous natural sugar note. This is great stuff!

Lemon Chupa Chups lollipop scent, will serve well when I’ll be in that mood ! Edit: previous comment was based on mere sniffing the cuff of the bottle I’m now wearing it, lemon lollypop is still there Id say that’s the scent it gives off from a distance, but if I sniff close to skin, I get a luxorious wash dettergent like scent as well on the background, these are impressions I get within an hour of applying it. Loving it so far, easy wearing fresh sweet fruity, excites about the dry down, maybe something is lurking like in SOFT... time will tell...

I've been wearing 'Fruit' for a few years now, every now and again. I didn't think this could possibly mimic any western scent in existence until I came across a vintage bottle of Liz Claiborne (in the yellow, red, and blue triangle bottles). After the top-notes of LC faded a bit, I was astounded: here was 'Fruit', by golly! A dry, spicy-fruity chypre that calls to mind those deep magenta, fruity potpourris that everyone seemed to have sitting in a bowl in their living-rooms in the '80's.

This is very sweet if worn on its own, but I layer it with other perfumes and then it comes into it's own. Layered with just about any perfume, Fruit makes that perfume a perfect summer scent. I have layered it also with other Arabian Oils, and they also have been successful, so for those of you that thinks it's too sweet, before throwing it or giving it away, try layering with something else, you might be pleasantly surprised, I know I was.

Sweet, bright, and uncomplicated. Teenage me would have loved this one, but this isn't quite what I'm looking for these days. If someone walked into work wearing this one, I might give them the side-eye. This smells like a middle school locker room after all the girls have given themselves cheap body spray baths from bottles containing pink liquid. It doesn't smell BAD, just a little too young for me.

Lots of kiwi, peach, banana and pineapple. A little musk but not too much. Full of vitality on a woman or a man. I love this.

I smell fruit salad with a definite musky drydown. Good staying power, not a ton of sillage. I like this.

I love this scent, its very heavy and ambiguously fruity and it pairs well with choco by al rehab.

A clean smell — like a spicy-floral shampoo rather than fruits.

This one is intriguing but not for me. It’s a 90% dupe for Pulp by Byredo. The opening is different, and the Byredo is more well blended and smells more expensive. But truly most people aren’t gonna notice the difference, and I don’t think Pulp is worth the price at all because the scent itself is so..polarizing and uber fermented fruity (but not in the best possible, unlike Erba Pura, Tiziana Terenzi which are worth the money). If you love Pulp you will like this (maybe you could switch between pulp and this to stretch Pulp and save some coin)

This smells exactly like a fruit punch drink. I recall a fruit punch flavoured syrup from my childhood that this smells exactly like. Its synthetic smelling. I use it for layering but it is not a favourite.

For me, it's an explosion of fruit salad that is heavy on the banana. Although it is labeled for women, it could easily be unisex. Well worth the price, even if only for occasional use.

Blind buy. I had high hopes for this based on all of those fruity notes! But in actuality, it does have some fruit, but it's overpowered by a strong floral. It smells like an old-fashioned, old women's florally perfume. I will never wear this. At least I did not pay much for it.

Fragrance Review For Fruit By Al-Rehab Notes: Pineapple, kiwi, grapes, banana, green apple, mandarin orange, grapefruit musk I never imagined an Arabic perfume could contain so much fruit. This is by far the fruitiest fragrance not only of the Al-Rehabs which are namely incenses, ouds, rose, patchoulis ambers and sandalwoods, but fruiter than even most of today's fruity florals. This is a cornucopia of delicious fruit. Usually some fruit fragrances contain abstract bunched-up together synthetic fruit scents listed as Fruity Notes but each fruit scent here, though chemically recreated to resemble fruit, is very detectable and can be enjoyed as the fragrance wears for a long time (over 5 hours). Pineapple and mandarin came at me first, very sweet and citrusy. The grapes came next, but it's clearly a cassia/cassis scent. This is my favorite fruit note however so it was a pleasure to pick up on the scent. A green apple is also clearly present and it's well paired with the citrus. Grapefruit stands out and the kiwi is also there. The banana note is accurate and because it's rare to find banana notes in fragrances I treasure it. The dry down is pure musk, which brings this fragrance back into the Al-Rehab realm. It's musky and spiced up. I think that this fragrance is perfect to wear in the summer whether you're male or female. The fruited scents to me are not at all feminine but simply fruit scents. The musk gives it a masculine touch. It's totally unisex. If you're a guy who wears fruit notes in your colognes even if it's just citrus this has enough citrus as well. It's really very nice. Highly recommended and the price is very affordable.

Fruit is simply an explosion of sweet nectarines, with a bit of white grape for astringency, and a more concentrated version of the pink berry (circumstantially "black currant") from Al Rehab's own Silver scent. I suppose there could be a hint of synthetic kiwi in there, too. But mainly it's this huge, super-sweet peach note, and to be honest it smells very much like the real deal. Al Rehab has this odd way of taking simple notes and giving them "lift" in much the same way Creed does with its perfumes. Like novembertrees says, Fruit is basically fruit salad in perfume form, but it has the Al Rehab lift to it. Its white musky drydown is only a little sour but altogether well done. For $3, you can't go wrong here. I actually find girly-girls who wear pink shirts and sweet fruit perfumes really sexy.

As per reviews, I was hoping for banana to shine through... not a non-descript fruit salad. Nice, but too fruity sharp for my liking. The opening kinda reminds me of ylang buyoancy (banana rendition?), with that almost-there-but-not-quite yellow floral sweetness. So potent I need to water it down with a few spritzes of coconut. UPDATE 2nd MARCH 2019: Since then, I diluted Fruit with an excellent banana flavored concentrated cosmetic oil. Which really does smell like fresh, yummy bananas! Ratio: 40% Fruit for 60% banana oil. That banana tropical creaminess perfectly marries Fruit, on top of cancelling that sharpness I dislike. Also, that DIY concoction gives some excellent fruity oomph to the rather vegetal and aquatic Halloween Sun from Jesus Del Pozo.

Nowerdays even the once very commonplace The Body Shop Dewberry smells like a masterpiece compared to the sickly sweet concoctions of today. This fragrance will have a person stand out from the crowd for smelling so indescribably differently fruity in a girly (but not pink - more purple berry coloured), fun, youthful and luxurious way. At school in the very early 90s, The Body Shop fragrances had boys following your beautiful scent trail although I wasn’t a fan of Dewberry. But I imagine Al Rehab Fruit to have the same effect because it’s so more-ish. I remember my chemistry and Dewberry not getting along but thankfully, so far, I think this makes me smell gorgeous.

To me this is has a fruit flavoured gummy candy smell. I really liked it at first, but it has now started grating on me. I find it cloying and even when layered with something else this actually dominates and takes over. As a few others mentioned it gives a really good scent cloud, sillage is very powerful for a £2.00 fragrance oil. I walked through the house with it on and on the way back I realised where I walked smelled like this. I got a cab shortly after that too and the taxi driver complimented the fragrance even with a mask on.

Like many others have said, Fruit is an almost perfect dupe for The Body Shop Dewberry. Perhaps a bit more citrusy than I remember Dewberry being and the base notes on dry down are not precisely as I remember them, but without a bottle of the original Dewberry for a one-to-one comparison, there is very little difference to my nose. Fruit in the rollerball packaging is also just as potent and long lasting as the Dewberry oil was. Took me right back to my freshman year of high school in 1993.

Oil Version: On my skin this is very sweet and fruity, quite tropical and juicy, as well as crispy clean. The fruits smell ripe, I can detect, as soon as I applied it: banana, pineapple and mandarin orange, those are nicely detectable. However the fragrance settles to a clean, soapy scent (because of the white musk maybe?) and the sweet fruit salad stays moreso in the background of the composition. I like this scent a lot though, it is perfect for the summer!

Oh yes 100% agree this is Dewberry. Of course Fruit may have been around longer but the Body shop introduced me to this fruity tropical cheerful and comforting perfume. I love it!! Goodness me - I could do a box of these. Get it if you love well blended fruity scents. The sharp tart fruits stop this being too cloying and unbearable. But less is more as its a powerhouse.

To me when it is first applied this smells like The Body Shop's oil called Dewberry (sadly discontinued) which I loved!! They don't sell it anymore so I'm glad I can at least put this one on and feel like I'm back in the 90's, drenched in Dewberry and getting ready to go to the bar. Ah sweet memories....

This is a bomb! I put one swipe down my arm and it's crazy big. It's a fruit and musk bomb. Mostly peaches even though they are not on the notes here. Just be careful to apply conservatively. Very simple and I'm sure I'll appreciate it quite a bit when summer rolls around again.

This has a very synthetic smell and the "fruit" smells borderline rotten. The white musk gives it a laundry detergent feel... And then I don't know how but there's also a ginger note to my nose. I don't know if I'd ever reach for this tbh.

Fruit right on the cusp of rotting. Exactly how this smells. There is nothing about this scent that i would recommend to anyone unless you want to layer it though I'm not sure what would balance out the overwhelming rotting scent

All I get is pineapple and musk. Not really that fruity. Longevity is brilliant, given that I could not wash it off as easy as I would have wanted.

The scent is so sweet I find it incredibly cloying, gave it away. Just sweet sweet sweet.

TBS Dewberry dupe. If I want to go back to Jr. High, all I need is a whiff of this!
