Green Tea

I have a 6ml roll on of this, alcohol free perfume oil. It cost me about £2! WOW! This must be the ultimate green tea smell. Really, this smells exactly like good green tea - not the cheap supermarket own brand teas but the expensive fine high quality teas. I have tried a few green tea based perfumes over the years - some are fairly accurate as tea scents, some smell nothing like actual green tea but most have been fairly light and pale, especially in comparison to this. At first I just got TEA (not brewed tea, the leaves) and then this just seemed to melt into my skin and become just beautiful. I have never enjoyed a green tea scent quite as much. Longevity is amazing, lasting a good 12 hours on me, with moderate projection, this warms with your skin and creates an aura of scent around you. Over the day this becomes so soft, so feminine, so clean and fresh and uplifting, it really is a joy. The scent of tea itself is, in my opinion quite complex, and this has all those subtleties and complexities. There is a faint, slightly exotic sweet muskiness that I find in all al-rehab oils that I have tried, it isn't listed in the notes so maybe it is just the base carrier they use. This is perfect for days when you don't want anything heavy but you do want a good scent with longevity and some projection. Very clean and uplifting, and so cheap! Really, if you like or want to try a green tea scent you cannot go wrong with this - a couple of quid, neat little bottle with rollerball applicator that you can pop in your handbag, lovely smell - you can't go wrong!

I’m sniffing for the first time from my 6ml attar sample, it takes some time for my nose to register anything ... then very green fresh smell permiates, it’s defenately green tea !! Rounded with some lemony smells, perfect ! Don’t have previous green tea scents to compare with that I can remember. Recognising some version of Kenzo in this ? Multipurpose uses for a simple unpretentious scent as this, lift me up aromatherapy, everyday use for any occasion, non offensive non complicated or overly contamplative , unisex, perfect for layering, feel fresh in suffocating summer days ? (don’t know how behaves in heat) Just fresh and cheerie, I shall review more upon wearing it/ Edit: generously applied this all over my skin (obviously we are still talking about the attar oil) didn’t think much of it there and then... time went on and I was getting more and more incredible special wafts of this, I’m really beginning to love this attar, once more I conclude: do not think of anything but allow the attars to really settle down and the magic begins to happen if it ever will. (If that scent ever was ur cup of tea)

Wow this is lovely it will be a great addition to my summer wardrobe. Green tea scents aren't my speciality so I cannot really say this is better than xyz but in the past I tried The Vert from L'Occitane and thought yea I might buy this one day and split with a friend but realistically I wouldn't wear this scent too often and it would have been quite expensive therefore. Al Rehab Green Tea is a good budget option and even though this isn't exactly a sillage monster imo a 6ml roller will probably last ages even if you reapply throughout the day as I did yesterday. What I found surprising is that there is still some warmth to the scent, so wearing it on a winter's day was not uncomfortable and I was able to appreciate its beauty. Well done, another succesful Al Rehab job. If you are a bit adventurous you could try layering this too. I put on some AL Rehab Jasmine to try but it easily overpowered Green Tea which is much gentler, so be careful not to kill this soft scent.

I'm really amazed at how I get more enjoyment out of this $5 attar than many expensive colognes. It smells like green tea with lemon, and is a very ozonic and realistic take on the green tea aroma. It sounds simple but the two scents blend beautifully and it is definitely one of the greatest fragrances I've ever owned. I personally think it is the greatest fragrance released by al-Rehab to date (and I've tried quite a few) as I absolutely love the scents of both green tea and lemon. It is also totally unisex. Sillage is very good while longevity is very good for a fresh fragrance at over 6 hours (longer if more is applied on skin). Overall I'm thoroughly pleased by this fragrance by al-Rehab. 5/5 P.S. This is far superior in every possible way to Elizabeth Arden Green Tea

I love this! I had no idea green tea could smell so good. This is so beautiful; citrus with tea. It's a lemony, orange citrus - really natural, clean, fresh & uplifting. A perfect summer scent and also goes really well with Al-Rehab's "Roses" & "Red Roses" which are powerhouse roses and with "White Full", a really natural, strong jasmine. So many blending possibilities but it's gorgeous on its own. I put on one tiny dab, rubbed my wrists together & kaboom! The scent is amazing & strong. This was an excellent buy. The longer I wear this, the more it reminds me of Prada Infusion D'Iris but I think I actually prefer this because it has a little more citrus brightness & less powder - it's not so austere. Wow & for only $3.20 + shipping! -Oil/Rollerball Version

This could be a 100EUR scent easily. It is exquisite, fresh and clean smelling, super pretty girl next door gorgeous. It would suit all ages, it's inoffensive, it's not heavy, the projection is delicate and it's perfect for a dinner with the in-laws, work, walk in the park in spring and summer, shopping, lunch with the girls, school.... road trip. I dunno SO versatile and NICE!! It is pure green tea with a few lemons thrown in, I might actually change that to ICED green tea because it smells slightly cool. This was love at first smell. It will be for you as well, I dare you! Try it, it won't disappoint!

i have had this perfume for a LONG time when I was younger, i would constantly think that this perfume smelled like cereal, kinda like froot loops. it had a lemony quality to it that to me also smelt kind of grainy (like what's used in cereal). nevertheless, this perfume is really good for a fresh and inoffensive experience! it doesn't really have a massive projection, but i feel that if someone's sitting next to you they can smell this on you. as i smell it a bit closer, i do smell a small amount of tea, but i really get more of a feeling of GREEN!!!!! and CITRUS!!! (exclamation points for intensity).

its too concentrated straight from the bottle, but smells so good on my skin. first time i wore it it was more like black tea with bergamot. now i can smell my favorite note (smth similar that channel allure and sisters aroma "like cannabis but not" has) and its not to fresh not heavy. i think its a perfume more about my mood and not occasion. I don't really smell green tea here though. Was ordering it without any expectations just to have some new al rehab smelling experience))) happy to have such a fun smell) Have it in the oil btw. and the price is 4$ )))

I just love this, I keep finding myself thinking about it regardless of what I'm wearing at the time. Longevity is pretty good but I still finding myself putting a little more on during the day 'just because'. It's also so darn convenient in a roller ball form, I wish all my scents were this way. I love it enough I just ordered 8 other Al-Rehab scents and I can't wait until they get here.

Unbelievably fresh & heavenly! Reminds me of hamam soap (Available in India). Looses the citrus tang and quite a bit of the tea as well after about 20 min of application. Then it develops this amazing ozonic note which, is like smelling the mist on a foggy morning. Still cant digest the fact that it costs close to nothing. Hats off Al Rehab.

This is brilliant. Perfect, just perfect for the hot summer days. The smell is citrusy, clean, and natural, it basically has the smell of a freshly squeezed lemon. The beginning is very citrusy, but after a while it tones down and you can also feel the green tea. For its price, go for it !

Doesn’t smell like green tea but it’s a nice lemon tea scent. Really easy to wear for the summer. Fresh, clean and a little sweet (not candy sweet but accurately iced tea sweet).

Really great, refreshing and a bit sweet. The combo of tea and citrus is really nice here. Also this one smells pretty much the same as Hammam Tesori d`Oriente.

This one is light and fresh for me, like having a cup of green tea. There's lemon, too, but not too much. Love it.

Oh yes! The sun has definitely got his hat on today. I received this thru' the post this morning after blind-buying it on eBay. It's just wonderful. I can't remember the last time I discovered a fragrance so fresh-smelling. It's very citrusy but not at all overpowering, like a lemon/green tea combination. It isn't cloying, sticky or sickly, it's just super-clean and very light. I opted for the 6ml rollerball application and I have to say that I only used two small dabs on my wrist approx 3 hours ago and it's showing no sign of waning or evaporating. It sits pretty close to the skin so it's by no means a sillage beast but that's what I like about it. It's inoffensive yet noticable. Definitely one to dab after showering on a sunny day / evening. It's blindingly obvious by the name that this is not a dark or brooding fragrance, nor does it project an air of intrigue or mystery. It just screams 'cleanliness' and I could imagine some men finding it a little too bright or feminine to grace their torsos but for me - not so. I'm loving it. For the price (£1.99), this really is ridiculously good. I have smelled a handful of niche perfumes which have a price tag of £100+ that don't (imo) smell as good as this but hey, leave them to it, I say. I'll definitely have some more of this (when this bottle has gone). Thanks to all the previous reviewers for persuading me to try it. Bargain of the decade thus far.

This is a light, safe rollerball scent that sits close to the skin, but it smells nice. I believe there is citrus and a slight oriental spice note in this fragrance because I smell like an oriental spiced, white floral green tea from the middle east. There is something more to this scent that tea and citrus notes; however, I cannot put my finger on what the extra is in this. I like this fragrance. Two thumbs up from me! Will I buy it again? I would, but I would also explore other options because there may be something better, but don't take my word for it. For any fragrance, read reviews before buying it, but take them with a grain of salt. Everyone has their own opinion regarding smells. Some people love a specific fragrance. Some people hate it. My advice is for you to get a sample of ANY fragrance before you ever buy it. That way, you can assess it yourself and have your own thoughts rather than strictly going off someone else's thoughts and opinions. So, do not let my opinion influence you.

Green, citrus, aromatic. Amazing!! Apart from the fresh, grass-like green tea and citrus mentioned in the description, I get a lot of nice, slightly dusty fig leaves and (after a few minutes) some ginger, too. So it has cool notes as well as warm notes. Very well balanced. It has a medical herb smell, which i really love. It smells like a high budget, organic niche scent. Sadly, it doesn't stay that long, at least on me. But that may very well be my skin. It absorbs green and citrusy notes too fast. Image in my head, when I smell this: An old greenhouse made of dark wooden beams and lots of glass, golden light of a late afternoon sun filters through masses of leaves and stems and twigs, balmy moist air, herbs in huge planters with little handwritten labels, an open window through which a gentle refreshing wind blows in.

This is lovely.... I do love tea scents but the first time I smelt this it was more of an effervescent bubbly bubble bath smell to me.. Maybe more of a green herbal bath... Almost like Radox Herbal Bath Salts (or Fenjal... Not sure) that I was gifted one Christmas as a young teenager in the 80s 90s...a scent memory for me.. so currently my mind is not perceiving the tea... I'm sure I will eventually... But all I smell now and imagine is fresh clean air, an early morning walk in a forest, morning dew on all the leaves and on the mossy spongey ground, surrounded by ferns and herbs that crush under bare feet as a quiet forest maiden dreamily explores this enchanted forest, dipping toes into a magical cool stream as water gently flows and tumbles over the pebbles....Such a dreamy little green oil....

I must say at first that fragrances that fall under the "fresh", "uplifting", or "citrusy" category do not usually intrigue me. I am mostly a lover of heavy-based orientals and vintage chypres, and, with the few warm-weather, daytime fragrances that I own, I tend to be quite scrutinizing of their entire development from first application through the entire drydown before I accept them into the folds of my collection, and into rotation. Al Rehab's 'Green Tea' layers the tartness of lemon peel and the slight bitterness of fresh tea leaves against an indescribable canvas of sweet blossoms and sweet musk- all in perfect balance.

I am so glad I got this little wonder! I must admit that when I first opened the bottle I got a bit discouraged because it smelled predominantly bitter but I reluctantly applied it to see what happens anyway. After a few minutes I began smiling very happily when I realized that I was surrounded by this adorable green scent that smells highly sophisticated and expensive. This is THE purest green freshness that projects so nicely and lasts quite a while. I could not ask for more from a perfume that smells like green tea, it exceeded all my expectations!

I have the concentrated perfume oil of this scent and when first applied, it comes off as quite astringent. As it dries down it becomes softer but it still maintains a strong, bright lemony quality that I find incredibly uplifting and therapeutic. I could see this paring well under Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea as there are some general similarities. EA Green Tea has a lovely sweetness to it that I think would lend itself well to the ever so slightly bitter Al-Rehab Green Tea oil.

A sharp, fresh citrus green tea. Quite different to EA Green Tea, I would even say that this is unisex leaning masculine. I agree with all comments saying it has shower gel, bug spray or spa vibes - somehow it is all three, in a good way. It maybe even smells like a citrus essential oil blend, with green grassy herbs. If I went in blind I probably wouldn't have guessed this was called Green Tea. Get this if you like citrus-green scents!

Very refreshing. Took a 90+ degree day to feel ready to try wearing this ..not my usual cup of tea, lol. A bit astringent in the roller, but on my pulse points, reminds me a bit of driving on a summer night and knowing there is a skunk nearby, in the best possible way. Very nice with a spray of original green Cabotine edp on top.

I don't get any sharpness here but a very realistic citrus scent, more of bergamot,lime and sweet lemon essential oils combined with a hint of tea. To me it smells like a fine Earl Gray Tea in such a case. I really enjoy it for layering with my citrus summer perfumes or just to acidify some that are a tad to sweet.

I am very certain I have smelled this fragrance at a spa. It is the kind of scent you would want to smell at a spa: soft, inviting, fresh, clean but not in your face at all. It is just so subtle that it forces you to take note of it- if that makes any sense. Perfect for any season at any time of day.

It's what it says. Green Tea. Not much to discuss here - nobody can perfectly recreate green tea scent, but it comes close. Ideal if you want to dress as a Green Tea for Halloween or some other kind of masquarade. But in everydays, it's not usable on it's own, must mix with something else.

It does not smell like Green Tea in the meanning of modern green tea scents. It is citrusy and green and a bit herbal(mostly mint). I like it, it is long lasting and I will layer it with my rose eau de cologne to give a little citrusy sharpness to its light, sweet, powdery softness.

It's nice! Smells like green tea with a splash of lemon and orange juice. Very fresh and light, yet clings to my clothing for most of the day. I do not think it resembles EA Green Tea, it's simpler and "juicier". I like to wear it on a warm/hot day when I am going to work outside!

It's green and citrusy, but I wouldn't call it green tea. Maybe I was expecting something closer to a brewed tea smell rather than the plant itself but I was pretty disappointed by the lack of tea. Still ok overall, though. 6/10

It is the smell of green tea and lemon. That is pretty much what you get. Longevity is below average. A great clean scent. I would recommend for home, after a shower. It works for men and women, I would think.

Not as fresh and clean as I was hoping, has a bitter undertone, unfortunately. I will probably never wear it.Should be a little sweeter. Shame.

This is my go-to everyday scent! It's so fresh and clean, like just stepping out of a shower. Definitely gets compliments.

A linear scent, not a bad thing of course. Reminds me of iced lemon tea. Too bad the silage is a bit too soft.

It's a clean fresh smell - quite lovely, really. But I would have expected more longevity from a perfume OIL.

This smells like somebody transported me to frutiger aero land. It's like this isn't made for humans to wear...if that makes sense. @kizaki_dwiky said it was like a car air freshener, and @Yalamddd said it was like lemon cleaning solution. I agree with both of these users. It is a scent that's supposed to exist in spaces you don't visit frequently, car dealerships, doctor office lobbies, The back of large supermarkets to return items, Office Max... Places you only visit when you have to. The scent is light, and lasts a very long time. The notes are all correct, this is a very on the nose perfume which I enjoy. Although I don't recommend this if you're trying to find "the" complex tea scent you want to love, this is a simple green tea with much lemon.

It’s okey, I bought it for my gf and she said it reminded of a shower gel with sandalwood and citrus that we have at home. I myself didn’t really get green tea per se, more tea in general but with a synthetic air fresher smell. Since the price is so low, it’s nothing to argue about. (I also bought another Al Rehab called “Chelsea man” which is missing in the fragrantica database. Jasmine, green notes, oud, floral notes, amber and saffron, masculine but also a bit of a “toilet block freshie”, insane dry down that lasts forever, though.) Dakar is still the best Al Rehab in my opinion!

Received it 4 days back. Tried today. I am disappointed. I saw the hype that it's resemble EA green tea and UCB live free. Yes it's quite similar to UCB one but the fragrance is very week I can't smell until I touch my nose into the perfume oil container or the application point. I had no idea that such an hyped brand make such a shit iitar with such and extremely poor silage

Smells citrusy and dryish herby version of green tea. If you've ever drank matcha as a pure herb or smelled dried mint..you know theres for a lack of a better word a slight "musty" smell. Not my favorite tea smell...but for the price pretty good and sticks on things pretty well. I think it'll grow on me.

It’s a little stringent for me, very green. I adore Elizabeth Arden’s green tea (spa in a bottle) but this isn’t remotely similar to me. It does feel more air freshener than perfume unfortunately.

Its scent is really strange. You can definitely smell the lemon, but there’s a note that makes it very unpleasant and almost unbearable — an old, musty, stale kind of smell. I absolutely can’t tolerate it, and if this is supposed to be green tea, I’ll hate it forever. ب امید اینکه بوی چای سبز بده خریدمش ولی افتضاحه. بوی لیمو حس میشه ولی در کنارش ی نوت خیلی عجیب هست ک ی بوی کهنه و پلاسیده طوری داره. واقععا غیر قابل تحمله

I was not a fan of this attar. I found the lemon note screechy and a bit linear, My grandmother, on the other hand, is a huge fan of this fragrance. She described it as a "cool lemony glass of green tea." She is excited to take it back home to Florida to wear in the hot weather. She also felt it smelt really clean. She appreciates clean smelling perfumes in hot muggy weather.

although this is a unisex fragrance i feel that it's more suitable for men. both of the notes listed are noticeable. i wanted to like this coz i love citrus and green tea. but it's just not happening.

The opening is sharp, synthetic citrus with barely there green tea notes. If someone has already said the drydown smells like a citrus toilet refresher, then they're not the least bit wrong.

Lemon air refresher/lemon cleaning solution. Hoping it will work as something to later. It's very sharp and I get zero green tea smell.

I buy the roll on of this. I can smell green, citrusy, lemon. But I didn't get the green tea AT ALL. Not as what I expected

not too potent in my nose, this is unisex perfume. i give just OK. i smell green tea and citrus.

This is air refresher in some cars, not perfume.. sorry just hate it ✌🏻 -10/10

Al-Rehab 'Green Tea' is not a tea scent, it's a dupe of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. Cleaning out my perfume wardrobe, I discovered an Al-Rehab Green tea oil roll-on and an Elizabeth Arden Green Tea spray and did a side by side skin test. These scents are nearly identical: fresh citrus aromatics which give a nod to the refreshing clarity of unoxidized camellia sinensis without smelling anything remotely like matcha. The Al-Rehab (AR) takes the gently bitter/sour citric opening of the Elizabeth Arden (EA), amps it up, and carries that smell forward through its lifespan with no development. The EA however, continues to mellow into a gentler, more spacious and floral-like aroma. The AR is strident and straightforward, a bold green splash of citrus, where the EA is a diffuse cloud. Both scents had comparable silage. The Al Rehab was totally gone in under six hours while a trace of sourness from the EA was still discernible on my skin some 12 hours later. Personally, I liked the bolder and more unisex character of the Al Rehab, but the better longevity and development of the original make the Elizabeth Arden the winner of this contest. Layer a spot of AR 'Green Tea' with a spot of AR 'Full' for a your personal 'Jasmine Tea' blend.
