Mira

This is a lovely fragrance. It feels to me like a spring/summer fragrance. It’s very sweet, fresh, citrusy, floral and pretty.

I didn’t expect this to be a really refreshing fragrance but it really is. I don’t have many fragrances with osmanthus, so it’s not a note I’m super familiar. Even so, it has a very strong and distinct smell that can sometimes take over fragrances. It’s pretty powerful here, but is blended nicely with the other notes. I get lots of that, cedar, peony, and citrus. I don’t detect too much vanilla at all but it’s okay because I feel like it may interfere with the soapy cleanliness of this fragrance. For the person that suggested it would be beautiful layered with patchouli, it absolutely is 😍 I layered it with Kayali’s new Vanilla Royale and the combination of all these notes is stunning. Someone also suggested it smelled like Lord or Misrule, which is another patchouli-dominated scent so I may layer those and try it out as well. If you’re looking for a clean fragrance, this is for you. It’s quite strong joint applying but settles nicely on the skin once the airs hits it. This is only a like so I’ll keep using my rollerballs until they finish.

I have the oil concentrated perfume version. On my skin this opens with strong orange, fresh peony and sweet vanilla. The dry down is a sweet orange blossom with a hint of cedar. The dry-down reminds me of Delightful but Delightful is sweeter/softer while Mira is orangey/stronger. I like to layer those two together. I have 30+ Al-Rehab fragrances and Mira is on my top 10, this one is really good.

I bought this immediately as it opens like JLo’s Still. That same tea note in oil form, so I had to have it, then bought a second as a back-up. But this tea note doesn’t last and Mira quickly develops more into Mademoiselle. It’s still a pretty feminine attar and the best from the 50 6ml roll-ons that I tried. You must like peony to enjoy this so I find it a bit too girlie pink.

Today is a cold, crisp sunny morning, perhaps the last before winter hits with full gloomy power. I picked Mira to accompany me in this bittersweet farewell, and it was the perfect pick. Sweet flowers, juicy-ripe, very bright and optimistic. Tomorrow may be rainy and grey, but today the birds are singing, the sun is shining, and I'm happy.

This smells just like a Lush store. An explosion of florals, sugar and vintage. This should seriously be more popular. I love it! edit: I've been wearing it almost constantly since I got it, and anytime I don't wear it I crave it like mad. This is like a more floral Soft (also by Al Rehab), with a similar level of sweetness.

Not sure why I'm the first comment here... I gave this a shot based on Vallivon's review on YouTube and it's lovely. I get the peach blossom clearly and the amber/vanilla/sandalwood as it dries down. This is delicious, albeit a bit disjointed. This oil is dirt cheap and lasts a decent amount of time (6-ish hours).

Nice little orange and peony scent. Perfect for spring or summer. Super affordable.

I have the oil rollerball FYI! I don't know why or how, but this one smells like my Lord of Misrule shower Gel from Lush?! It's zesty, herbal and fresh, quite strong, but has some vanilla sweetness. It doesn’t smell like the LOM perfume, but it really did remind me of the shower gel incarnation. To my nose it was full on minty when I first rolled it out and it's still a bit minty and herby fresh with a woodyness 20 minutes later. the vanilla sweetness is really well done in this and not at all sickly.... Sort of fascinated by this one tbh! Update! I put some on a tester strip, gave it to my partner and asked if he recognised the smell. Almost instantly he said "smells like our green shower gel", which is LUSH Lord of Misrule, so not just me! I've actually given this to Hubby and he loves it. He always smells sweet and fresh after putting this on and it last on him for ages.

From the very first spray, you can smell the citrusy tartness of orange blossom and orange. Amber and vanilla lightly balance that tartness with a warm, sweet base. It’s a very ordinary sweet-and-tart fragrance and really has nothing to do with Coco Mademoiselle. This review is for the oil. Like others have noted, the fragrance starts out intensely herbal. To me it is also astringent like green tea for a few minutes, then fades to osmanthus.

A floral tea scent. It’s fine, I wouldn’t wear it, but it’s ok. I can only really smell the osmanthus, and a tea note. It’s quite sweet, but fresh rather than cloying.

This is very unique. That's what arab perfumes always bring to the table. Peony was a completely unnecessary add. First spray is VERY floral. I assume it's the yucky peony. I don't like peony. Then citrus. I do not smell any peach I assume because of the peony takeover. This is not ordinary by any means. But the opening is very cloying. Mid to dry down is nice If they took out of the peony and/or osmanthus it could be a nice I could wear. It's a nice spring/summer fragrance, it's just not for me.

I bought the oil. On the roller with the lid uncapped, I can smell citrus peel fairly well, but on skin almost immediately that fades almost fully fades away. I'm left with some zing stop soapy florals. There are moments very brief where it smells like I'm hovering directly over a sweet slight jammy pink flower, but it's often overcome with soap. I take it to be the peony. It seems like a few minutes in the jamminess is more noticeable. I like it. Will be good as a fresh out of shower scent while lounging and running errands. Pretty, fresh, and inoffensive. Decidedly feminine flowers.

Mira opens with sweet, zesty orange, fresh floral, and then something... Leathery? Or like tobacco? Maybe it's the osmanthus? Whatever it is, I like it. And then it dries down beautifully to vanilla and cedar, sweet but not too sweet. It's also gorgeous layered with patchouli. I agree with Alexandra, this scent is addictive! Whenever I wear it, I want even more of it. I'm going to have to place another order with Al Rashad. One vial of this beauty is not enough.

I have both the oil & the spray. Please, buy the oil! The spray in rank! It's weird - I have Al-Rehab oil & spray combos in other scents, but it's like the Mira spray is unrelated to the Mira oil. Anyway, the Mira oil is simple & lovely. To me, it's a gentle blend of peach, peony & mandarin. It's also a dead ringer for the Tinkerbell cologne I used to use as a little girl.

For some reason I'm not getting the bright citrus that everyone else is getting. I have the oil version and it has a soapy peony scent accompanied with a semi leathery/ herbal background. I was hoping the Chinese osmanthus in this would smell sweet and give this scent a refreshing vibe but instead got a heavy scent that smells like cheap soap. Maybe I got a bad batch?
