Mokhalat Al Rehab

Mokhalat opens very similar to bakhour but takes a quick turn with more pronounced oud woods incense resins aldehydes i get frankincense myrrh ceder oakmoss sweet amber musky rose sharp florals the middle of this reminds me of the base of norell the oud playing on the aldehydes is a thing of beauty as the scent matures it's as if im a walking stick of incense as this develops the base turns into a sweet and sour oud playing with musky rose and amber very unique in character i can see people being assaulted buy such a smokey sharp floral it goes from sweet old lady smell to decaying bouquet of flowers thrown into a wood fire a distinctive sweaty note appears as the heart opens which is intoxicating very gothic dreary old distant aged ragged lonely alluring enigmatic illuminating i said a succubus would wear bakhour this is something a vampire that lives in a forest castle would wear the oud rose and incense are blended beautifully must have for chypre or oud lovers this is unisex but leans toward masculine especially in the middle and drydown when things get sweet sour and powdery. 10/10

I have the small roll-on attar/oil bottles, and its one of my favourites- I LOVE it. Here's the breakdown: this is an OLD-school smell (popular in the early 90s I would say) not something kids of today will like, and definitely not western. The initial smell can be very strong but it evens and mellows out. For me it's oud, flowery, and very sweet. This fragrance will work better for women as many guys don't like to wear sweet smells because it's feminine- but whatever, I'm a guy and I love the sweet smelling fragrances. Also be careful with how much you put on, you only need very little because this has HUGE projection and HUGE sillage (everyone in the room will know you're there, especially if you're in the western world while wearing this). And for that same reason, I would keep this for occasional use rather than as a regular fragrance.

I bought this one because the name means, ”Al rehab blend” wandering how the fragrance of their pride smells. The result is satisfactory. I am enchanted with their blend at the first whiff on my skin even though they use aldehydes of which I am not a big fan. When wearing this fragrance, I feel like I am having a cup of tea scented with flowers in cool autumn, which is a relaxing and soothing experience. In order to enjoy my skin chemistry, I usually use oil version. Also, it's very enjoyable to change the amount of oil and see how it develops on my skin depending on the occasion.

I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!!! This is just amazing to me.. warm, floral oud.. reminds me of winter and fireplace.. or being under a tree close to a lake.. to me it's just so very pleasant.

At first I didn't like it,like mhubbard wrote: it feels like a foreign perfume. It is a very strong woody (OUD!) smell like we do not know in European perfumes. I also smell lots of flowers, like a mixed bouquet, the amber for me is not so very loud present... After trying and trying I can say now that I realy become to like it. Not for every day but once in a while. Also the temperature of the weather can help to like this. I would say: try it and find out for yourself, because what 1 person likes an other person maby dislike. And the price is very low: here in Holland I payed not even 2 euro for a 3 ml perfume oil. One thing: it is a very special perfume and in Europe I think you will be unique when you wear this.

Bought the spray as a blind buy and I really don't know what to make of it. The initial spray is an almost sickly combination of flowers and extremely strong oud. It's a cold smell with a note in it that vaguely reminds me of 1881 cologne. About two hours in the fragrance begins to dry down to something more subtle and rosy before this fades and only the oud remains. I can't compare it to anything else I own. It certainly isn't masculine to the western guy.

I like it! Mokhalat-al-Rehab is a bit like an '80's powerhouse, with a zesty opening full of aldehydes and rose, giving way to cozy woods and resins. To be honest, it reminds me somewhat of the feel of 'Musk al Ghazal' by Al Haramain... but not as complex and rich. Still, a nice fragrance for vintage-lovers.

This is a really unique scent! It's definitely got that oud punch but it's softened beautifully by the florals. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it.

I can't find much information on this one, "Mokhalat" means mixture, so "Al Rehab Mixture". Aldehydic in the opening, with fruity raspberry, damask rose, and jasmine with other soapy floral notes, powdery musks, vanilla, santal, moss, with a sweet ambery myrrh base. The oud note is present in the later stages, but it's subdued. Leathery and slightly medicinal. It smells good and it's good value for the price. As far as oud oils go, this one is on the honeyed, sweet side. Not my preference.

God forgave who says this fragrance is so good and make me and others people buy it and make me sick idon't like it and i will nver smell it again and i will never think about it again . 35 mL price : $ 2 USD My opinion: 4/10

I've got this one by mistake, but since I have it let me review :) (oil version) This is a tricky one, I wouldn't wear it, and I don't particularly liked either, but it is indeed a good fragrance, the first impression I got was Tabu (one of the old formulations, not the first but definitely not the crappy later reformulations), not that is similar but has the same skanky vibe to it, animalistic and raw, very interesting. So if you like that style of perfume you will love this one :). To me this one is a bit more on the feminine side after dry down. After a few 4 to 8 hours it gets creamier, still a bit dirty. All in all a very interesting and very high quality oil, strong and last a long time like most of Arabian oils. It also develops very slowly as usual with this oils. So, although I wouldn't wear it and don't really like the smell, this is one good damn oil in the style of Tabu and many other vintage perfumes, so if you like that you will love this.

Funny one this... It does a U turn on me. In the beginning all I can detect is oud, amber and some kind of citric/sour topnotes with a bit of saffron and caramel thrown in. It's quite a loud feminine-ish type of oriental scent. After about 6 hours it's totally mellowed down and super well blended, could be something quite expensive and unisex. I just don't see myself enduring the first 6 hours everytime I fancy that creamy drydown (which probably has some sandalwood and white flowers in it too). It's hard to describe this scent but to anyone who is familiar with Al Rehab Bakhoor I would said that Mokhalat al Rehab is related but wins hand down over Bakhoor.

This is not for me, and it feels like a "foreign perfume" type of a scent. Not horrible, but too sharp or strong with notes I don't care for. For a western person, its hard to describe, as this is probably something of an acquired taste. I detect sharp and unfeminine spices here that I personally find unappealing. Lovers of aldehydic type scents might appreciate this more. It reminds me very vaguely of Chanel-which has never been my thing!

Oud, oud and more oud. Strong and slightly medicinal, to me definitely more masculine. Sillage and staying power are killer, literally just a tiny dab is all you need. It softens a bit after several hours with amber and it's a very warm and thick scent. For oud lovers only I think. Really amazing value if you love oud though.

I got this thinking it may be different,but unfortunately its not for me. It starts off smelling like dog flea shampoo, very medicinal smell. It calms down to a light powdery scent, which isn't bad, but the initial smell just throws me off of this one. Oh well...

Another very harsh, sharp, unpleasant Al-Rehab fragrance. The house has some nice fragrances but this is most decidedly not one of them.

I just sprayed some on. A lot of aldehydes at play here. Soapy florals, and a slight wet, mineralic, undertone. There's a powdery aspect that reminds me of the old Shower-to-Shower brand body powder my parents used for years. I pick up rose, and a banana like note (ylang-ylang?) as well. Definitely a perfume with a vintage character, mainly of powdery floral chypre. I get no oud in this.

Mokhalat/mukhalat means mixture, and I've found that these can be the bombastic oils. Maybe that's what they are going for. This one has some nice notes beneath the blast. Oud & floral (the obvious) This works good with incense. Dip some frankincense, or wood chips, maybe some incense sticks. Let them dry, & fumigate the room with them.

I'll add this: I do find a kinship to Aromatics Elixir as it dries down, though not as full bodied, and as good quality. If you love AE, but find it fatiguing after a while, you can use Al Rehab Mokhalat till your ready to get back into the AE groove.

I thought I had a bad bottle when I notice the description describing it as "sour". I was going to give it away, when I took a few moments to let the drydown to happen. I get an oudylike floral note as it calmed down....nice!

Bought this with al rehab cobra and and al rehab khaliji , honestly this fragrance reminded me of burned plastic at first but after the fragrance set in i could smell the strong flower notes. I also smell a hint of musk.

I only have this in the petroleum jelly form. I use it on my feet, and I must say it's quite lovely. Rose, aldehydes (soapy, powdery) light spice and oud. Nice enough!

its very unique oud.but not refreshing ,best for use in cold climates.Strong and masculine. Sillage is nice ,price is cheap but high quality

OUd! I'm in love with you. So unique, mesmerizing and dark and sensual...
