Moroccan Rose

I have at least 15 Al-Rehabs and after blind-buying Barhain Pearl was going to give up. But THIS IS MY FAVOURITE AL-REHAB!! The first thing that came to mind was Stella McCartney’s rose fragrance except it is stronger. Lovely clean, shampoo-ish aroma with the faintest hints of fruit, and a faint pleasant background of green tea. I would describe the projection as heavy rather than enormous, but then it has been suggested that I have problems with my nose. I can just about smell a rosey cloud of gorgeousness around me which disappears every now and then and frequently wafts. I’ve had this on for half an hour so I can’t yet say if it’s long lasting or not. A lady-like fragrance ideal for young people (not to say that older women and today’s glam grans can’t wear it as well) in English springtimes, perhaps worm with a pink floral dress and pearls out to lunch with the girls. Or church on Easter Sunday. You get the idea. Not for the built up macho man I wouldn’t have thought but then again, anything’s possible with people’s creativity.

I’m in love with this oil. I wish and pray that they make it in a perfumed spray. I’ve only had this a week but I do somewhat agree with the review below me. I do sense a juicy slightly sweet citrus underneath but I think it’s there to amp the boldness of the rose and give a jammy impression rather than to dilute the rose or make it smell like cleaning product. I get a beautiful heady sweet clean rose. The tiniest bit powdery a little citrusy jammy it’s perfect imo. Makes me feel so clean after a shower, all my shower products are rose too I adore a straight up clean rose. I find this oil lasts all day and i smell it pretty strongly, especially when it rubs onto my clothes. Smells like clean rosy petals and laundry and bubble baths I can’t get enough. Ive gotten SOOO many compliments wearing this with al rehab spring rose spray its incredible

Very pleasing and bright citrus rose. I smell fresh lemon, green apple, rose, pear, some water notes, and a light, white musk. There is a faint rose, enough to justify the name Moroccan Rose, but mostly this is a fresh scent, nicely blended and summery. Not as strong as most Al Rehabs. A good, work-safe freshy! Like a lovely shampoo. If you are a little afraid of heavy rose scents, and would like a light one, this is your rose! Not what I expected.

I agree with others observations. This has got to be the best rose fragrance al-rehab do. Its definitely softer and I agree about the musk but as someone else has said I also get soft fruits in the background. There might be some peony as well. It is no way as strong as the other al-rehab roses but it is certainly no wallflower. I dont find it quite as much of an "air freshener" as the others. It has both good sillage and longevity

Okay this so feminine! It reminds me of a rose soap bar... in a positive way! It's a bright, floral, clean and soapy fragrance! She's a very linear type as well, nothing to complex. On my skin she doesn't project so much, she lingers close to the skin which I can appreciate and I love using her after a shower and can definitely see her being layered with other more complex rose fragrances to spice her up or to wear for nighttime.

This on my skin smells like rose hip in full bloom, as if I had taken a handfull of fresh, pink petals and cupped them between my hands - a deep sniff, aaah! That clean, rosy smell, with ever so slightly hints of sour/bitter and sweet scents, typical of fresh rose petals! This is for me a very inoffensive and charming daytime scent, lastning unfortunately no longer than 2 hrs on me. Lovely two hours, though.

Very clean and soapy rose with an amber-musk base. I detect some fruity notes, maybe apple and raspberry, but it's mostly sweet rose petals. Very wearable and easy to layer. This, however has not the beast longevity of other Al Rehab oils I have to reapply after 4 hours. Considering the quality and price of the fragrance, I don't mind it in the least.

Smells like a shampoo in the best way possible When i say i want to smell ‘clean’ this perfume is exactly what i mean Cause it has a very fresh out the shower smell i think its good for all season and all occasions SOOOO cheap aswell, got a pack of 3 6ml bottles for £10, one bottle lasts me like 2 months

so beautiful!!! sweet floral. i wish they made an edp of this...i'm obsessed. i ordered about 10 of these because i got anxious i'd run out because how i kept reapplying. the rollers are so convenient for travel or just keeping in your purse too. this is a forever buy for my collection.

Update: I've had a chance to wear this all day and sadly, like many of the most beautiful fragrances of today, it doesn't last. 3 hours max. The sillage (projection) dies down too after an hour. I'd have to keep reapplying which is never a good look.

A refreshing, sweet, fruity rose. I love it. The smell from the bottle is exactly what it's like on the skin. It's noticeable for a good couple of hours after application and makes me feel nice and clean. Great value for the £2 I paid.

I find this to be a beautiful if not rather linear perfume. What you smell at the first application is exactly what you get in the dry down. Wonderful rose scent which smells expensive and natural to my nose. I simply love it!!

Realistic pink rose petals, lightly candied. Not a sugar bomb. Softer than Red Roses, more realistic and less soapy than Roses by Al Rehab. A great buy for an easy to wear fragrance.

This is the most beautiful rose scent I've ever smelled! It's so pure and natural, like walking through a garden of roses. The musky undertones add a touch of warmth and sensuality.

Very pretty girly rose scent. It reminds me of Versace bright crystal in the dry down. Smells like fruity rosy clean shampoo. Clean and pretty.

it drys down to a moschino funny , nice surprise .

Moroccan Rose is all about raspberries, roses, and white musk – at least on me. Opens with a nondescript citrus and a sour raspberry notes. Soon it warms up and reveals a heart of faintly fruity red roses and white musk. The dry down is mainly white musk and faint rose. It lasted about 2 hours on me. Projection was nil. After trying their “Full” perfume and being floored by how competently Al-Rehab can recreate a jasmine note, I was really hoping they could do the same with the rose note. Alas, this rose is not a living rose but rather a casual *idea* of a rose. However, it is quite feminine, pretty, and refreshing. Easy to toss into a bag in summer time and wear without bothering anyone. Some people mentioned that it resembles VS Sweet Temptation and rose scented shampoo and I agree with those comments. If that’s what you’re looking for, then this is a great and affordable option.

From the bottle, the smell was so-so and not as inspiring, it seemed pretty off putting! But then I decide to put some on my skin and discover just how wrong I was!!??!! This perfume has a fresh/green rose with something like apple in the background. It's a very refreshing rose and I cannot smell much of the white musk, but it is in the background. I wasn't sure how I'd find this perfume as rose being a big note in a perfume just isn't me to be honest, but I've been pleasantly surprised. Finally I might just start wearing rose-based perfumes. It's quite a lovely spring/summer scent, or you can even put it on in winter-if you fancy a touch of spring during the colder months. Like all Al-rehab perfumes I've come across so far, this one smells expensive and it is well made. As I cannot smell the musk as well, I think it would go well layered with a heavily musk or amber based perfume.

I really like this rose I agree it’s definitely the most wearable and best rose of the bunch. I get a fruity rose myself though I do smell the musk too. I actually get an Apple rose almost like DKNY Be delicious fresh blossom. So I too think this is one of the more “western” scents. This and Soft would be my 2 most worn scents. I have Choco musk in the mail though as I’m a sucker for musk. Moroccan Rose is a great scent though it’s light and uplifting and very inoffensive in my opinion. I love these roll on’s because they really are inexpensive, smell good, and are the perfect size so this makes it a no brainer for me. Love!

Really enjoyed this Al-Rehab rollerball. A fresh, juicy, sour rose - a green berry rose. I smell pink, red, and even fruity peach roses. It's musky and clean. Traditional sweeter, soapier rose petals start to reveal themselves in the heart, but I always smell that tart green top. I love the way this one wears - it lasts on me for a good 12 hours. I also love that this oil doesn't contain any residual oily smell, which is unfortunately what ruins fresh perfume oils for me. This is bright and uplifting all the way through, but I suspect the oil formula prevents it from becoming too soapy fresh - it has a grounded quality.
