One Secret

For me this smells very similar to Kenzo Pour Homme which I love. I will update in a few days after giving it proper time for testing... Update: I actually like this more than Kenzo Pour Homme. It's a little smoother, last longer and projects better.

I've owned One Secret since Spring 2015 and my thoughts of This One have changed over the years. Initially, I found Al-Rehab One Secret to be a good fragrance; a lighter type of scent...very Western and nothing Middle Eastern about it. It had a fresh, summery aquatic type feel, but there was a little more happening with this scent. One Secret opened fresh, green and with a salty hint of an aquatic vibe. But I also detected more complexity out of this one as I detect rose and woods and perhaps even sandalwood kickin' in the heart. It reminded me of a cross between a citrus aromatic and an oriental woody; a woody aromatic? The woods really pickup in the drydown with the addition of some musk kicking and the rose slowing fading-away from the 30-minute mark. The drydown also reminded me of a fragrance called Rassasi Jaisch. Performance is pretty good in that it stays on my sin for 7-8 hours and projection is about average. A nice little inexpensive fragrances. Fast-forward to 2017+ when I revisited One Secret and my opinion has changed vastly after more wearings. I enjoy several Al-Rehab fragrances but I no longer enjoy This One, and that ain't No Secret! It's not a bad fragrance by any stretch, but I didn't find it to be a good one either; just okay. What I get out of One Secret is a green fragrance with some generic waxy floral accords (tuberose? jasmine? rose? who knows!) and a mixed-bag of warm spices and woods. Performance is decent in that it lasts about 7-hours and projects moderately on my skin. Moreover, it becomes more woody in the drydown (which I find to be nicer than the earlier stages of this fragrance) but is remains largely a linear scent. Finally, I do not find this green-floral fragrance to be very masculine and feel that it is better suited for the ladies, which is my biggest beef with this scent.

#1472 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Lattafa introduced a scent like this last year called "Lail Maleki Moroccan Blue." Original "Lail Maleki" was a mess. "Oud Lail Maleki" was not bad, so I gave Blue a try. Not bad, but nothing special. Haven't had it out since I bought it. Probably be the same with this stuff. A very run-of-the-mill citrusy/woody scent with a little spice. It smells familiar because the notes are so common, but it's not an attempt to clone anything I'm familiar with. Improves as it dries down, getting woodier, but nothing about the oud comes off Middle Eastern, and the sandalwood is more a hint than a note. But give it ten minutes and it's wearable. I applied this at 5AM and still had noticeable skin scent seven hours later. So good quality for under $10. Safe for any environment. Masculine. Sorta 90's with no amber or vanilla. But given the price you can't complain.

Nose Note #542 This is really, really good. It starts like a hair spray a little bit, but that's first 5-10 seconds. And after that it's a wonderful, a beautiful flower-citrus scent with big emphasis on flower note. The musk is clean here. The flower note is ambiguous and just smells like a very decent amalgamation of a light flower bouquet. The fragrance is strong enough though, much stronger than average. It has nice piercing sharpness, but it's not screechy. I haven't tried Kenzo pour Homme, but I can't imagine that have anything in common at all. One Secret is 100% unisex, maybe even slightly leaning feminine. It also smells so familiar. It's a smell from the 90-00s. Very good. It's not like Light Blue at all, maybe 20% similar. 8/10, amazing light flower scent

the reviews seem like it's well liked. So I must disagree. MAYBE I have a bad bottle. Either way, this was pungent, synthetic, trash. I do not like this the least bit. Reminds me of smelling cheap shoes at payless and fake plastic fruit. This is the only scent ive blind bought that i wanted to just throw in the trash. huge no go. I really believe this cannot be what it's suppose to smell like.

Not really a fan of this one. I'm surprised this is considered a male fragrance. To my nose its at the very least unisex if not favoring the feminine side. I can see the comparisons to CK One but this has an Avon Skin-so-Soft vibe to it too. It's a pass for me.

One Secret Al-Rehab is a great masculine fragrance which is ideal for the summer and for heat wave. Fresh, fruity, citrusy, floral, very playful and fizzy.. like a nice refreshing drink in the middle of the heat. It's suitable for summer and very hot days. It opens strongly with vivid fruity and mild floral notes. There is also a discreet green-floral note but I can't find which exactly, it's weak. I also get citruses, vivid sandalwood, gardenia, orange blossom (it has definitely something orangey) and mild sweet lemon. At the dry down I get nice vanilla, a mild powdery note and very discreet, almost invisible caramel. The sweetness is very mild at the background, non offensive, not at the feminine side. I get traces of rose I think or something rosy there.. or to be honest, it must be tuberose and many white flowers. One Secret is very youthfull and refreshing scent. I think it suits better for smaller ages, men mainly but young women can use it also. The longevity and the sillage are both moderate on my skin. Even though I'm not a teenager.. I love it! Best use in a heat wave, very refreshable!

It is definitely a men's fragrance. I am a woman but I bought it just incase, as Al Rehab can be a bit random with it's fragrances, and it could well have suited me. It is a strong, clean, cloyingly sweet cedar fragrance. It lasts quite a while. I have given it my husband. It is not a favourite fragrance of mine.

It's a citrus fragrance, but you'll feel like a Sheikh when you wear it. So it's not European citrusy, but Arabian amber-citrusy fragrance. It's good for those who get bored by European citrusy fragrance. Just don't spray too much, 2-4 is enough, the performance is beast.

This one is totally a western perfume, nothing Arabian here! And perfectly suits office useage in hot weather or warm days of cold climate. This won't be offensive to nobody!

I wonder if this is a dupe for Calvin Klein's CK One? Or Dolce Gabbana The One??? More info would be appreciated. Please review, fragranticans!

This is very potent stuff! Have the edp version. I find it a bit femimine to my liking.
