Secret Lady

I am really, happily impressed with this oil. It opens with a fresh apple - Id swear it is Golden Delicious! The apple is still the crunchy sort, when it is juicy but there is that slight 'bite' and teeny, tiny, tasty tartness to it; the kind that engages your salivary glands and makes you start to drool in anticipation of enjoyment to come. Then I smell this gorgeous, soft, sweetness flowing out and enveloping me like that pink smoke every time the genie in "I Dream of Jeannie" came out of her bottle. In general, I am not an apple lover in my fragrances but I cannot resist this one. Its soft and sweet but still such a powerhouse! I want a caramel apple now ;) Its been on me for 10 minutes and now I smell a pillowy, delicate marshmallowy vanilla along with the sweetest apple I have ever smelled. This is downright yummy! I could see myself applying this for a walk through the local farmer's market this Fall, the breezes blowing my hair aside, lighting up the oil I applied to the nape of my neck, and then laughing with glee as people around me start asking who is selling the yummy apples, watching them all making a beeline for the fruitstand and requesting a bagful of their prettiest apples. Im a trickster, and if you are too, you would probably really enjoy this magnificent cheapie that can be had for less than the price of a Jack in the Box hamburger. No moment on the lips, no lifetime on the hips but a whole bushel of enjoyment. *Note* I layered my Secret Lady with another awesome Al-Rehab oil, called So Sweet. These two are blending into the best thing I have smelled in days. I cant wipe the smile off my face, and I dont want to. This is going to smell great on my sheets and pjs all night long! This is all thumbs way way up. 10/10. Strong L*O*V*E. Looooove. Yum!

Very sweet but not delicious or tasty scent. It does not smell like candy but there is some kind of pleasant creamy powdery vanila and light floral smell. I put some oil fragrance in the evening on my wrist and could catch smell in the morning easily. So it does not fade fast from body. Probably it will become second favorit smell from all rehab after dalal. I had no idea how it will smell but that blind buy surprised me in a very positive way. I think it could be easily mixed with dalal and you can sink in that unique seductive sweetness. But i dont feel any oriental notes in this somehow. If you love sweet fragrance this could be must try on your list:) (sorry for my english. Its not my mother tongue) Ps. There is no citrus like smbd claimed. "Soft" or delightful has so much more citrus. And it is not same or similar as dalal. It has very different milder powdery notes. Also i do not recognise apple smell. And its totally feminine. Adding my review: does not last that long as dalal or tooty musk. Expected more longivity. Cant find spray version to buy...

I received this roll on as a gift from Al Rashad with my purchase. It's very sweet and similar to Dalal, but with an fresh green apple note. It's cozy and warm, with soft spices (I can smell vanilla and cinnamon maybe?) Very soft and safe floral oriental. The sillage is not strong, but I've caught my husband leaning close to smell it on me. It lasts about 4 hours on my skin.

I love it. It's a fresh green apple scent meets a toned-down Dalal. Sweet and fun. I don't find this one as strong as a lot of other Al-Rehabs (at least in the roll-on) so it's a good choice for work. Reminds me a lot of something I would have purchased from Bath & Body Works as a teenager in the late 90s.

Reading fragrantica reviews you can be very misquided sometimes. I have no idea how others find shampoo or apple smell in powdery scent. People should write reviews very carefully. Ive noticed many positive reviews are based on perfume price... It is very feminine, sweet, powdery, cosy.

Giant, 1970s, green apple shampoo scent. Total flashback experience for me. Very refreshing in the heat. The only thing that bothers me about this is the name, bit of a mismatch. This isn't subtle and it would be really hard not to notice this scent.

So clean and fresh it's delicious. Fragrance to accompany bubble baths, fresh bed sheets, a just laundered linen sun dress.

wonderful fragrance, everyone will like it. it is mass appealing. i like it a lot.

An apple, caramel and white musk with a spring in it's step. Love!

I have an oil roller ball, can't find the edp. When I first tried it a year ago, it was a totally different scent. Very "girly" (not in an overwhelming, Pink Sugar way, though!) and vanillic. After a few tries, it became what other people describe under. Apple. Sweet apple pie. Not that I mind.

Nothing revolutionary, but it's very pleasant. Better then any body mist you can find in Bath and Body Works. To me it's very vanilla forward, but the florals are nice, fresh and sweet. Easy blind buy - very versatile and crowd pleasing.

I have the oil. In the opening it smells just like apple juice. As it's setting it starts to smell more like shampoo. A juvenile freshie. Nice for the price, but I won't repurchase once I'm done with my 1ml sample.

Received in mail today. I bought this based on reviews saying that there was a definitely aroma of apples, even though the are not listed in the nnotes. Nope, no apples. Smells synthetic, rather chemically. Disappointed 😣

Smells cheap and dries down into soapy musk. Starts good, though, with sweet and zesty green apple scent.

There are a few things that will be forever inexplicable to me, like men, of all nationalities, shapes and sizes, or why Shahrazad chases her own tail in the corner of the kitchen next to the fridge freezer while I dish her grab and before she leaps to get as much out of the tin as possible, and, most importantly, why Secret Lady smells like apple pie? Made with green apples, to be precise. Spice is extremely gentle with something like vanilla and cinnamon dominant. I don't particularly detect anything floral, to me it is like vanilla with green apples and allspice. It doesn't rock my boat, but, I can imagine how it can appeal to those who love fresh fruity gourmands with gentle piquant hints. If that's your thing go for it.

This does indeed smell like Dalal plus apple, at least int he bottle. It has the same sandalwoody caramel orange oud but with strong apple notes. But then it gets different enough for me to dislike it intensely. I own and love Dalal, but this one has an added note like sticky coconut, and much more sandalwood than Dalal, and it turns out, less caramel. It is far more sticky and cloying. The apple note is pretty but doesn’t cut the cloy well enough. This is the sandalwood type that I dislike a lot and having them blend it with sweet vanilla just makes it hurt my nose. It doesn't scrub, like most oils and it's strong. I hate this one, sorry. Dalal is a keeper, Secret Lady is a horror on me.

It smells like apple. More specifically apple pie, eg apple pie à la mode, as some people have said, which is an American phrase for apple pie with ice-cream. Or a Mr Kipling's mass produced apple pie. Or a nice fruity apple shampoo. It's very nice, but it's pretty weak, I'm sorry to the lady enthusing below about tricking people into buying apples as her wondrous scent goes by, but it's not even projecting to him, sat next to me, and after a few hours on the skin it has gone. Still a keeper though, I have the 6ml rollerball, and I wonder what the spray is like. I bet very nice, but not very strong.

The “not-very-subtle, 70s apple shampoo” review below is what sold this to me! <3 The person who said it’s like Dalal is also right (in my opinion) I should add that this has a somewhat milky background giving it a slight piña colada effect. I’m not sure what to say about the performance of Secret Lady - one reviewer says it’s very in-your-face while another says it’s very soft and subtle. On me, it seems to be moderate but I like to wear it out and about and see if anyone notices it.
