Opens with a incredible bright juniper bergamot and cedar blast refreshing lively youthful yet mature reminds me of viktor rolf spicebomb mixed with channel homme allure sport with the addition of holiday spices and piney wood notes I detect conifer like resins think of a Christmas wreath with potpourri still dripping with sap on a bright sunny day there's a incredible tobacco note that starts opening at the end of the top which carry's the bergamot and cedar to the base i also get aspen conifer rosemary and pine shavings mixed with sweet grass slight hints of musk appear as the heart settles into a subtle dry down which is somewhat woody cinnamon and vanilla the juniper and musk keep those notes from becoming sweet or oriental this is one of the safest blind buys from the al rehab house absolutely stunning masculine fragrance a bright citric woody icy herbal aromatic that smells like freshly cut cedar rosemary and hand picked juniper berry's the addition of tobacco bergamot and cardamon keep it fresh and bright as it transitions into the base this scent smells like christmas(cold) in the summer it's one of my favorites from the al rehab house my only complaint is the sillage and projection you gotta really douse yourself with this for it to project more then 3 feet and while its a beautifully crafted complex scent it doesn't last as long as some other powerhouses from al rehab that being said it's a safe blind buy for any man who enjoys citrus forward woody aromatics the bergamot cedar and spicy woods are done masterfully the musk very subtle as is the vanilla so you get no sweetness just deep hints of forest like woods bright citrus and high quality tobacco once the base starts to settle subtle pinesol like vanilla makes its appearance this is great for summer the juniper and tobacco screams bar and lounge setting or a intimate affair , business meeting the scent is mature yet youthful a steal for the price 4$ usd nothing sweet or floral about this one its spicy it's woody it's bright and citric with just little pops of green to add more character another masterpiece from al rehab I would prefer a bit more sillage and projection but it's strong enough not to be a skin scent if you enjoy Spicebomb - Viktor Rolf or By The Fireplace - Maison Margiela with the spirit of Channel's - Allure Homme Sport ... Sultan is for you it's less sweet and heavy then the aforementioned it's brighter and woodier the juniper and cedar are masterfully blended 9.4 / 10

This one is tough to describe - there is a lot going on. First off, the manufacturer says that this also has notes of pine, orange flower and mint. In the oil version that I have, the mint is immediately noticeable in the form of skin cooling. The opening scent accords, in the air, are a punchy juniper, a resinous pine and some fougere notes. Nose to skin, there is an earthy, slightly bitter note that has aspects of turpentine, but "in a good way". The turpentine notes don't reach the sillage but do make it more interesting. At the 90 minute mark, the woods and light vanilla have come out to play, and the clove/nutmeg aspects of eugenol (listed ingredient if not note) mingle nicely with the juniper and pine. There is something like artemesia here too, though that could be a combination of the mint, cedar and sandalwood. The overall perception is that it has a lot of good accords that remain separate while still interacting in interesting ways. It isn't one of those fragrances where you can't pick out any notes, nor is it a one-trick pony. I don't have anything else in my collection like this, so the $3 I spent on a 6ml oil bottle on Amazon causes no regret. At the 4 hour mark, this hasn't changed dramatically, in either strength or character. As is the case with most oil fragrances, projection on this is quite limited, but longevity is good. The mint is mostly gone, the fougere bits have strengthened, the artemesia-like earthy/bitter scent, pine and eugenol are pretty much unchanged. Both the cedar and sandalwood elements have increased. So mostly the same notes, but their different strengths indicate a progression. Feels like 80% "Western" designer with 20% "Middle Eastern" to give this a familiar feel with exotic touches. Mental image is a cool dark forest. Quite cool. Because of the moderate projection, this is appropriate for anywhere where you don't need or want to be noticed for your scent. If you sitting in a movie theater, the person next to you would catch little intriguing whiffs if you applied this liberally, but would not be offended.

I have this in both oil and spray, both r equally good an lasting. So far, this is a big departure from my normal types of scents... it is in fact my fav NON-gourmand Al Rehab scent. (Chocomusk remains my fav of all Al Rehabs so far!) In short- A unique bright, CLEAN and STRONG scent with notes of juniper and pine and blended with a very nice lavender. Woodsy but not the typical woodsy! VERY strong especially in the 1st few hours! More masculine but a strong woman can def carry this, as I do ;O) In long- This a wonderful scent that I like 2 use 2 break up my normal gourmands I so often wear. Although it's listed as men's, I like it and wear it and think a woman can pull it off 4 sure. The main notes I am getting are hard 4 me 2 decipher . --I'm guessing a main accord is lavender. Overall its a nice fresh, clean smell and peppery...it smells like lavender officianalis which I adore (I HATE the smell of lavender angustifolia...that gives me migraines). Worst case scenario reminds me of a wonderful laundry detergent or softener after-smell. If memory serves me, this is a dupe of Tide, at least what I remember it smelling like as a kid. In fact stays on the clothes long enough, if I used commercial stuff I'd think that is what it was! LOL Pros: -Unique, not the run of the mill men's scent out there...it's different yet some comforting notes, I'm sorry its hard 4 me 2 describe! - It's EXTREMELY long lasting and potent! I must have worn it when I wore a coat i just pulled out...as the scent is still on that and I'm enjoying this mileage! -It's EXTREMELY affordable --I buy in best economy so I have seen it at 20USD 4 a pack of 6, making it a little over 3bux per. -I believe although this is a tad more masculine it can truly used unisex Cons- can't think of one unless it's too strong of a fragrance 4 u. But u could use the attar 2 water down by creating an EDP 2 tone that down... so i kinda view that as yet another pro...

I have been wanting to do this review for a while, and don't know why I haven't gotten around to it yet! So, here goes... I don't know quite how to articulate just how much I like this one. This is absolutely my signature scent. I found this one about half a year to a year ago, and I have not stopped wearing and buying it since. It is cheap, but powerful. It is fresh, and it is spicy. Like someone else said in these comments, it's very "East meets West". I live in England, and a lot of my friends and family have asked me what I'm wearing. Granted, I do go a bit crazy on the sprayer. Sultan is a very versatile scent, that suits most day-to-day occasions. I can see how it's marketed unisex. Someone actually once thought someone was wearing perfume nearby - and it was just me[!] (here, where I live, perfume usually has just the female connotation). But don't let that put you off by any means - the smell is divine. I still see it masculine, with it being fresh, musky and spicy. You can pick up an EDP spray online for under £5, do yourself a favour and try it if you haven't! You don't lose much if you don't like it. If you live here in England, it's unique, yet not far off most mainstream ones at the same time. Either way, worth a shot! The longevity and projection are good, and at the price you can spray a few times (and then it does project). I'd say for this - Longevity: 7.5 Sillage: 7.5 Scent: 9... If not 10 Price: 10 That's a good 8.5 to 8.75 out of 10!

This is a very beautiful, and most Masculine scent out there that I have smelt. It's very nature-y in its presentation. It gives off that medieval, Oriental King vibe; which is exactly what the name suggests: Sultan. It also has that strong Lumber-jack vibe going on. This perfume just speaks manliness. To give a comparison, Vick's comes the closest to this smell. It's very minty; Cedar heavy; cardamom heavy. The other notes are noticeable also if you have a strong nose. I could notice hints of vanilla, musk, and sandal wood a day after. So, if Vick's had all the extra notes, without illness connotation to it, then that's what Al-Rehab Sultan is. It's beautiful; it's heavily Masculine. The smell can easily be mistaken for a high-end, $300 perfume, yet the price is only around $2 in Toronto. And the best bet to where you'd easily find this is in South Asian, halal meat and grocery stores. Definitely worth a blind buy (although they do allow you to smell it before you buy it). Verdict: Smell: 10/10 Sillage: 10/10 Longevity: 10+/10 It's not spicey or fruity scent; wouldn't bother anyone's nose. It's appropriate for all seasons.

Fragrance -Sultan Al-Rehab Bottle(roll-on)from - 2015 Sultan is in the middle of the road between a western and oriental fragrance.Like a great man on a bridge over troubled water,trying to have the best of both worlds. Sultan is a woody,spicy,warm,moderatly fresh and exotic blend of cedar,musk and juniper,enchanted with a little touch of spices,sandalwood and bergamot,and a wisper of vanilla.It has some similarities to Chic Shaik No 70 by Shaik.Highly recommend this one. Longevity - 8/10(8+hours) Silage/Projection - 7/10(moderate to high projection and silage for the first 2-3 hours) Weather - for more or less any time of year.I personally wouldn't wear this on a really cold winter days and on a really hot summer days. Versatility- 8/10 Age - 24+ Compliments - 8/10 Scent - 8,5/10 Main notes according to me - cedar,juniper,musk,bergamot,spices. The drydown is powdery and i get some - woodiness,sandalwood,vanilla and musk. Emotions - cedar forest,elegant,fresh,warm,class,sophisticated,exotic. Occasion -for more or less any ocasion. Could be a nice signature scent.You'll get compliments with this one.

This is a very nice and CHEAP fragrance. Except for the initial burst of alcohol it doesn’t have any cheap smell at all. It’s is a very masculine scent, and I get a dominant scent of pine and wood, light cardamom and a slightly sweet dry down that at least on my body smells almost like dirt. It has a very earthy smell, and although the notes make it sound like a warm or spicy scent, it is actually quite fresh and perfect for a transition season like spring or fall. It’s too fresh for winter and too spiced for summer. It smells very clean and I think the frosted bottle and silver cap projects the mood of the fragrance We’ll. It is sleek, simple and clean, not overpowering or dusty or old fashioned, and definitely not feminine. Although it’s called Sultan, I don’t think Sultan is a appropriate description. I think something called Sultan should be something heavy and spicy. This to me has a outdoorsy kind of feel. Something to wear maybe at a urban nature trail or bike riding. It’s cool and refreshing, but has a lot of character.

Al Rehab is hit and miss, this one is a hit. The perfume doesn't change much, as in other oil perfumes. It smells of gentle spices (cardamom and saffron), woods (mild cedar), and earthy fresh citrus (bergamot & maybe juniper). Although saffron is not mentioned in the notes breakdown, I can smell quite strong in the beginning. Of course I'm not saying that it contains any natural ingredients, but most perfumes out there don't anyway, which goes against their price tag. Whereas with Al Rehab oils, you know you're paying for synthetic oils, clones of other perfumes mostly, but that's more acceptable than the overpriced synthetic mess from designer (± niche) perfumes. the other 4 Al Rehabs I found to be good purchases are: - Aseel - Silver - Moroccan rose - Green tea Not sure how Sultan will perform in warm weather but it seems close to the skin in winter. I've worn this for the last few days, it's actually really nice, it's growing on me. Update: the more you wear it, the more you love it. Excellent stuff

This is for the oil roll-on. 6ml for $2.95! One word to describe my first impression - WHOA! This smells amazing! I wasn't sure what to expect, but my expectations were pretty high based on all the reviews and this being my second al rehab (first was sultan al oud) I knew the quality would be great.. anyway, this blew my expectations out of the water! SMELLS GREAT...musky, woody, fresh, sexy - not going to list notes since you all know them already. Not something I haven't smelled before but the quality is something you can expect from a very expensive fragrance that cost hundreds of dollars. Let me put it this way, if I paid $300+ for this I would NOT be disappointed, I would actually be very happy. So less than $3 it's really a no-brainer...this will last you a very long time too since all you need is a dab of al rehab. OVERALL: 9/10 all day

#1504 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is basically Lattafa Qaa'ed, a scent I came to enjoy early on in this journey because it reminded me of the discontinued Issey Miyake "Nuit d'Issey Polaris." (I'll spare you another rant about Miyake always killing their best scents). This is a potent scent with good projection and you really can't beat a $10 price tag for something this good. If you like Houbigant "Duc de Vervins", Dior "Eau Sauvage Parfum", Ex Nihilo "Hedonist", any of the classic woody-citrusy-spicy scents, this will be a hit with you. This is a good suit-and-tie classic men's scent that I'd be fine wearing to the office or to a formal event. And I also think it works as date wear if not over-sprayed. Pretty much all day endurance. Can't make a mistake with this, especially not at this price.

I have both the spray and oil and it pains me to say that there's near 0 longevity and 0 sillage. It pains me, because I absolutely love how this smells very aromatic, coniferous, woody, slightly lemony and very refreshing. It's primarily juniper, cedarwood and musk but in the spray I notice there's more cardamom so it almost takes on a slightly mentholated cooling scent that I adore, it's a very clean and fresh scent however I'd be lying if I said it doesn't smell a bit like cleaning fluid. Dont expect much cinnamon or vanilla, the sandalwood is barely noticeable. I primarily use this as a gym or after shower scent. If I were to choose between the oil and spray I'd say grab the spray for more sillage but just grab both it's so dirt cheap it won't hurt to give it a try.

WOOOOW i still can't believe that i got it for just 5 $ 35 ml bottle. the Price to Quality ratio is amazing, i think this company AL- Rehab will pull down the sale of all those expensive Western Perfume (where you are only paying for the Brand name). Longevity is excellent. it is pretty much understandable that people will think that it is made from low grade Ingredients and things like that, but friends you all must have to clear one thing in mind that almost 90 % of all Perfumes in the market are synthetic. I have extremely sensitive Nose but wearing Sultan i never felt that it is too synthetic or made from low grade Ingredients. So don't worry about its quality you will see yourself when you buy it. Fragrance: 6/10 Longevity: 7/10 Price: 100/10

It's very woody and sweet in a way that reminds me of oranges; it's not cloying despite the overall strength of the scent. Juniper adds a brightness which makes this best suited for a summer scent on me. There are spicy notes as well, mostly cardamom I think. Layering this with an oud oil adds depth, complexity, and richness, and I highly recommend trying it. The resulting combination makes this a really superb scent in my opinion. Good projection for about two hours; it's a skin scent for another two, and after that it's gone. I wouldn't mind just carrying the perfume oil version around in my pocket for use throughout the day - and hey, if something happens to it, I'm only out three bucks.

I've got to disagree with the reviewer below me. My wife and I have a bunch of "high end" fragrances, and we love this one on my skin (Nebras for her). Al Rehab has proven to me on a few occasions that dollars spent and famous brand name are not always synonymous with quality and enjoyment. Sultan is sort of a rich, warm, soft, and woody scent that is best applied in moderation, as I've found it is easy to over-apply the Al Rehab oils. Along with Silver and maybe the Drakkar Noir clone, Dakar, Sultan is the best of the Al Rehab line that I have found for masculine leaning scents. This is a winner for $6.

The first time I bought a used one since it was the only one available at the shop, it was unbearably stinky maybe it had gone bad or it was a fake the juice was dark in color.(spray version) Then I searched for another one, its juice was colorless(spray version) and had an expiry date :January 2020. It was difficult to find where I live. It Opens up with sweet refreshing tropical citruses and fruits(I think its the juniper) then settles down to spicy(cardamon), woody and musky scent, prejection is heavy and longetivity is around 8 hours on skin.

I got this for a really low price, it's really cheap where I live, I just got it along a bunch of Al-Rehab fragrances just to try. I sprayed it all over me in the morning. In the evening I go back home with the smell in my nostrils, constantly sniffing myself and eternally pleased. On the way back home, I stopped and bought 3 more.Enough said, it's that good. All the four of them cost me $6 :D I wanted to buy more, but I have many fragrances, so I think I will survive the fragracalypse when it comes with only 4 bottles of Sultan.

I wear the spray of Sultan a lot having purchased it as a blind buy to see what the Al Rehab fuss was all about. It hits hard to begin with with a woody, citric freshness and settles down to a spicy cedar-sandalwood-pepper scent. You can get away with this both in the day and night and at all times of year. I can still smell it on my clothes the following day in the laundry pile. The Spicebomb comparisons are way off the mark. Sultan is a spice nuke and smells, imho, far more expensive. You really cannot go wrong for the price.

This is an "arabic-meet-the western" fragrance because this fragrance has the vibe of hugo boss bottle with the addition of oriental smell. I'd imagine this like a modern building in Dubai with the touch of arabic ornament. The interesting part is the middle note. I get the smell of Dior Sauvage (about 80%). Mind you, I don't like Dior Sauvage for its strong chemical smell. But this Sultan has added softer vanilla and musk to complemen that chemical smell. This I love. Dry down I just smell white flowers. very musculine scent.

I realize this is a man's fragrance, but it is so fresh and expensive smelling, I wear it anyway occasionally. After COVID I recovered my sense of smell but everything is still a bit fainter smelling than it had been. Today I layered Sultan oil with SA Hayaam edp (just one spray) and a generous spray of Ciara. Love it!! Try it if you can :) I can smell it without feeling yucky from an overdose of fragrance. Highly recommend all three for price point and clean woody freshies with some Arabian depth.

An honest review about this. THIS FRAGRANCE IS NOT FOR CLOSE ENCOUNTERS. It is a woody heaven, very similar to Victor Rolf Spicebomb as i mentioned in my another comment, but very strong EDP. Just one spritz on your neck pulse and boom. you'll still smell it on you the next day. A very good cheapie and worth trying but use it very light as it is a powerful fragrance. Thank You! I'll rate it 8/10 as i am a sucker for woody notes :)

I'm blind buying this scent for 2 reasons: A) I could not get Mauboussin Histoire d'homme Irresistible, which Fragantica has as a high similarity rating to B) It literally costs 8 bucks online, no loss on this gamble. However, I do see a lot of negative reviews regarding performance, yet Fragantica has it as voted with "Long lasting"......I do hope it's great. Otherwise I will continue to hunt for Mauboussin.

I tried to give balloon but it didn't shows, so, thumbs-up mate! The longevity and Projection are commendable in Sultan and Choco Musks,I tried . I am newer to these oils so, will writing detailed reviews a little later-on!

This cologne is amazing I have the spray and it smells like a nicer version of a axe body spray. Its heavy on the woody citrus. If you want something that will last long and works great for both men and women this is the scent for you. It's not overpowering in my opinion so it's great for day to day wear and I feel could work in multiple seasons. For the price it's worth a blind buy.

Clean and musky with some cedar and sandalwood to give it a bit of depth. Great longevity but sits pretty close to skin. Inoffensive, not challenging at all, for the price it's great for grunge, workhorse duties: working in the yard, travel days, etc where you don't want to use something expensive and don't need something to project but still want to smell nice but not generic.

This is pure juniper bliss: cedar and bergamot give a sensational boost, and musk kicks in very smoothly. Long lasting, and definitely peculiar. "WHO-HOOOH! I'M HERE TO STAY, AAAAND WE'RE GONNA HAVE FUN!" and no matter what: it WILL stay :D I prefer the roll-on oil rather than the spray version: the roll-on has a softer and milder kick-in, and stays on for longer.

this fragrance gives off a "futuristic" vibe for some reason to my ordinary nose, it smells really fresh and cheery (you could smell like some citrus), and it also smells kind of refined. its hard to describe without looking at the notes! i do get some cardamom and juniper. projection is normal, and so is sillage. this is a easy daily fragrance, i love it a lot!!

For the price, al rehab oils are pretty damn good! this one, to me, opens like Ginger beer, when you open a bottle & sniff it from the fridge, its like that! drys down a little less spicy but retains the overall feel, its pretty nice though & for the cheap prices blind buys are acceptable id recommend this along with Saat safa & sondos as the best ive tried

Wonderful! This scent is Amazing. Fresh, and pretty unique.great longevity and moderate sillage. Perfect for spring. I think that sultan, silver,shaikhah, kaliji and aseel are the best of the house ----------------------------- My Advice: If you decide to buy Al-Rheab Fragrances, go for the OIL version. They're far better then the spray verison,

Much respect for the people at al rehab . This is good ...perfum..but maybe a bit old..somthing from the begining of the 90's mixed with somthing modern. Performance as you can expect is great. yo get the white musk with a brilliant blending of spices listed above. it is very recommended and for this price ...hell ya .. thank you .....enjoy

This is great value and it has a lovely cedar and fruity note that lasts. It's like Jaguar's Vision only a bit more sweet and fruity. The silage is attention grabbing too. If you love cedar perfumes then really think about this. Al Rehab has produced a really lovely cedar perfume with character here and I think it's an underrated gem.

A great heavily-masculine scent. If Terry Crews would smell anything other than Old Spice, this would be it. Just use it gently and don't try to overdose it, because even compared to other Al Rehabs this thing can bite big in the few first hours. After about 5-6 hours it slowly starts fading away, but until then it's super-powerful.

I really enjoy this fragrance and have received many compliments on it.I see it more for use in summer because it has a refreshing effect.The fragrance itself is very soft and has low to moderate projection.At least it has lasted me more than 8 hours.I consider it for mature people.

A very pleasant fresh forest scent. Oil. I am a woman and I like to wear because I love El Nabil Musc Sultan. Try it, almost the same scent, El Nabil is more natural (forest aromatherapy) with better strength and staying power, Al Rehab more cosmetic. Nice, but I prefer El Nabil.

i have the CPO / attar version. got it in 2009 during my college. became my first love to perfumery world, especially for ME perfume and attar. staple since then. re-purchase when it's empty. smooth and comforting scent. good sillage, but with moderate longevity.

For me, it is a gorgeous fragrance of soft spices, pine nettles, and the dark but subtle sweetness of dried figs. Worth the cost for a blind buy IMO. It does become a skin scent after about an hour but it is still fantastic.

This warm woody, sweet elixir reminds me of honey'd citrus - sort of like you make a jam-like syrup to mix in hot water to drink. Easy to wear definitely, with moderate projection and longevity.

Sultan is so, so good...this is not a dupe but it reminds me of a smooth, softer (much softer) Spicebomb. I wear Spicebomb so for me this is unisex...it's very fresh, spicy, year round staple.

Soft apply is a must :) Dont like musk at the start,but when it settled down.It is very good ! I am new at this fragrantica,and dont know much about perfumes,just know one thing.I love em :D

6ml roll on. I absolutely love this stuff. It's beautiful. Few swirls just above the collar bone and behind the ear and your good to go. Would not be without this fragrance now ❤️

One of the most beautiful scents I've ever smelled. For men, clean smelling, aromatic. One of my most favorite perfume. I use both oil and edp. I use it in every season.

Thank you to all the perfume aficionados who alerted me to this scent. Especial thanks to those reviewers who discuss perfumes without making it sound like an acid trip in the worst, most overwrought English composition class ever. (How can I know if I like the smell of - I quote - working-class hipsters in a bookshop or coffee shop? FFS, what even is a working-class hipster? And how does the smell of anything in a bookshop relate to the smell of anything in a coffee shop? These people's former English teachers will be drowning themselves in turbulent weirs of pure-flowing Issey Miyake in shame...) This is a clear, masculine wood scent that belies its price - £4 delivered to my door in 24hrs. As a musk lover, it did not seem musky to me - but I love it, so maybe it's there? The woods to me are beautiful and pure. Others like it and are drawn in - more evidence of musk? My only gripe is that, on me, it lasts about 2hrs and doesn't have great projection in small quantities - I see others are different. And at £4 on my doormat, who cares? I spray it often. This is a great scent, and would suit any fan of woody notes. But it'd also be a great scent for that guy towards the end of, or leaving, college and realising he's a man, and that £70 mass-market "designer" scents are boring, ubiquitous and samey. It's fresh enough for a young man, yet purely woody enough for any confident, thoughtful man, of any age or station in life.

This oil is really nice and spicy. To the person who said it reminds them of Ginger Beer they are SPOT ON! That is exactly what I get from it.. It's GINGER BEER oil! After the peppery Ginger Beer BLAST from the opening I start smelling sandalwood and musk but the ginger beer type scent is still strong. Longevity is amazing because I have the Oil but projection is lacking. I find most of these Oils have amazing smells, unbeatable longevity, but I wish they projected like EDT's & EDP's :( I might just get some Ethyl Alcohol and mix the oils to it so I can make the £2 oil into an EDT or EDP spray. I am VERY happy with the quality of these Oils, I haven't tried the spray versions of Al Rehab yet but I am curious about their projection and longevity.

Warm, deep, musky, manly, spicy and projects. If you are looking this scent up and looking for reviews you will not find much that is why am glad to offer my review. INEXPENSIVE and it does not require much of an application to let those around know that you wear this. Al Rehab scents, quite a few of them, seem unisex. This one is definitely an evocative, aromatic fragrance that declares masculinity. I gotta hand it to you, if you are looking this up, then you are an inquisitive individual and open to new and interesting smells! How can you go wrong, if you feel it is not for you.........you only spent a fraction compared to the "designers" and "name brand" offerings out there!

Nose Note #541 This is my favourite fragrance from Al Rehab and one of my most favourite of all time. This is honestly a masterpiece that you would not expect. This is top 5 woody fragrances in my collection and the juniper note is adding such a beautiful sour bite to the composition. It reminds me of Dior Homme 2020 and Dior Homme Sport 2017 which I own, with this blood orange like note and a hint of something corniferous. Performance is only slightly above average in my experience, which is a shame. 100% masculine. Still this is hands down better than many designers and comparable to the best of Dior. Just think about that. 9.5/10, one of the best men scents ever made

I'm not usually one to complain about projection, but... my evening tradition, post-post-gym shower, is to spray on a fragrance and take the dog for a walk. Smelling the fragrance wafting off of me as I walk through my beautiful neighborhood is one of life's small pleasures. Tonight I (over)applied Sultan before my walk, and I smelled literally nothing unless I stuck my nose down in my shirt to inhale. I don't want something to project all day and choke out the people around me, but I would like to be able to smell myself during the top notes at least. But then this is an uber cheap oil, so not sure what I was expecting lol. It has its place, I'm not mad at it.

I have the roll-on oil... was going to give it away but I am glad I tried it again yesterday on a warmer day which made it even more difficult to pin it down, as it seems to bring out more facets of this attar. I am not sure if I can detect the cinnamon but the overall impression is a fresh aromatic woody scent without any major "citrus" elements... Just picked up the T-shirt I was wearing yesterday and without even having to sniff closely my nose picks up a persistent iso e type of scent. Sultan is categorized as a male scent, however if you are the kind of girl who likes woody scents and who'd give Terre d'Hermes a chance you might like Sultan too.
