Zahrat Hawai

Don't be fooled, this can be worn by a man and takes a very strange, polarizing turn. It starts as a slightly synthetic gourmand with a androgynous vibe, reminiscent of Escada Rio, but then transforms into something like charred pineapple juice colada with sweet citrus and alcholic syrups evoking the feel of a tropical beach. It has a beautiful Middle Eastern take on gourmand and woody floral musk, similar notes can be detected in Creed's Virgin Island Water , SpongeBob’s Gary and Tommy Bahama's Set Sail Saint Barts. What a turn! If a person can withstand the synthetic pina colada lifesaver candy opening for the first half hour, Zaharat eventually evolves into a beautiful, tropical, sweet blend of smoky charred pineapple, smoky coconut skins, and old fruit, with a refined, almost sultry richness. It becomes a real challenging fragrance for those who don't prefer true beach like scents. This one has a twist of dark coconut, teak woody sweetness in the base, a fragrance that works on any sex with the right attitude. Beautiful, tropical, opens like a cheap bath and bodyworks spray X Lifesavers pina colada candy and does a 360 into a Smokey Hawaiian tiki bar serving frozen cocktails in the middle of a coconut lagoon.

One-by-one, I've been spending more time with some of my Al Rehabs that didn't immediately "grab" me upon first sniff (my preferences lean toward heavy, cool-weather and evening frags). I had meant to give 'Zahrat Hawaii' a wearing this past summer, yet here I am... on a very-chilly autumn evening, basking in the tropical aura of this delightful perfume... It makes me envision a trip I took several years back to Puerto Vallarta, sitting near the beach with my sister, talking and laughing as we sipped daiquiris and piña coladas, surrounded by blooming plants and sunshine, enjoying the fresh breeze coming from Banderas Bay, making plans for the coming evening. How I wish I was there now, instead of looking at the grey skies and bare branches that greet me here and now...[sigh] How is it that a perfume can be so evocative of times and places? I have nothing else quite like this in my collection. The closest thing is maybe 'Laguna' by Salvador Dali.

This works quite well on me and not many fragrances do work with my chemistry. I was worried that these would be cheap bathroom smelling scents but they're actually very well done. I love this one, it's my fave! Pineapple usually smells too sharp on me but this does pineapple beautifully! It actually smells like a more expensive Selena Gomez. It lasts and projects! I just love this! It's a better alternative to the overly sticky sweetness that turns into a mess of sugar from escada fragrances. Nothing manly here on my skin. This is tropical and fruit done right! Usually fruity fragrances smell so weird on me, those popular ones that work on everybody but me. Well here's a tropical delight for my oily odd man out skin. (Although I'm a woman).

This review is both for the oil and EDP! Truly unisex imo. Love applying the oil on skin, and EDP on fabric. They work better together than separately, and a little goes a long way... Projection and longevity is top-tier, as most middle eastern perfumes are... This scent opens up with the fresh/citrusy/floral notes. The fruitiness creeps in slowly right afterwards, blending in beautifully. The caramel and cedar bring complexity and depth to it, lingering for a while as the base. It resembles a very luxurious shampoo scent NGL. It's one of my favorites by Al-Rehab!

As the name, ”Zahrat Hawaii” or Hawaiian flowers shows, I can feel the comfort Hawaiian breeze scented with tropical flowers and fruits wearing this cute fragrance. First, bright coconut comes into my nose, followed by cheerful pineapple, and strawberry. Finally, beautiful musk wraps up everything leaving the seductive sillage. I use the oil version, and apply a small amount to my skin not to overwhelm the people around me. I can say this fragrance is a head turner. My friends ask me what fragrance I am wearing.

Very nice and tropical smelling oil. It’s quite strong at first, but it settles down, I don’t think it has a big silage, but it’s quite long lasting. I thought it would smell cheap, I mean it does a little, but it is nice and youthful, smells just like an Escada perfume would. It’s fresh and sweet but not cloying. I can see wearing this in the summer, although it would not be a good layering scent, because it’s too overpowering for that in my opinion. I recommend this cheapie, it’s really good for the price.

I can't claim to be any kind of authority on "gourmands", but if the simplest definition of gourmand means "it makes me drool and want to eat my own arm" then here we have a winner. This is sweet, fresh, fruity and absolutely addictive! I cannot believe how good this is! To my nose, there is just a touch of citrusy,sour pineapple lingering in the background but in the forefront, all I can detect is just coconut, sweet, yummy caramel and something soapy and floral. I love this!

As a hardcore warm gourmand lover, I like my tropical fruity summer fragrances to still have a touch of warmth. This is it. It hardcore reminds me of the selena gomez perfume I had when I was a teen. Its A very rich chocolate torte covered in berry syrup and caramel with chunks of bright, cold, fresh pinapple. It's kinda an odd mix of things that oddly enough blend into something fruity and sweet with a grounding warmth.

Blind bought this for my wife as we attended a beach wedding in Aruba. Running the risk of sounding cliché, it smelled of a desserty lip-gloss which I get why people associate it with a more synthetic aroma. That being said, I found it pleasantly feminine, fluffy, fruity and sweet without being overdone. This fragrance projects youth and is definitely estival. It's not perfect but at this price point, it is unbeatable.

Really liking this and it's quite a surprisingly complex one. At different stages I get lilt (the pineapple and citrus soft drink) then something that smells dusty or gritty and then something watery and floral that reminds me of a milder l'eau d'issey. I cannot really detect strawberry nor any of the usual Arab style notes. It's not a grown up, serious smell. It's a happy smell.

This one is on of the best, The Best from Al Rehab. If you want a freshie fruity fragrance, this is it. It goes the same style like Dunhill Desire Blue, Versace Man Eau fraiche. But this one is sweeter yet so fresh. In its roll on bottle, the oil is potent. It gives you the longevity and the sillage you need from a fragrance. Don't apply too much.

I bought this on amazon for under £3 after I bought (and loved) Soft. At first smell I absolutely loved this. The pineapple and coconut notes are very vibrant. It's very sweet, especially at the opening. As it drys down you can smell more of the flowers and the woody notes. Lasts for a while, strong silage. Would totally recommend!

This is beautiful fruity fragrance...It is a very strong pineapple-citrus fragrance with some coconut in the drydown...It reminds me of a much sweeter version of Al-Rehab silver without that sharp metallic note...The citrus manages to keep it balanced from being to sweet. It also projects and lasts a long time on my skin <3

I don't know but i love this perfurme a lot even too linear but very mass pleasing fresh and sweet like a cotton candy, very versatile you can use it anywhere, maybe is too sweet for some people, but not for me. Very safe for blind buy if you like sweet scent. Easy to wear 8/10

This is a lovely tropical/summer scent. I mostly wear it on my hair. It lasts about 2 days on my hair- people always complement my 'shampoo'. It smells essentially like pina colada (more pina than coconut) without the rum.

This is good for layering, and for hair and clothes. It works well on my skin but definitely develops better on clothes and hair. I use it as a base for my summer holiday fragrances and I absolutely love it.

practically me and 2 of my friends' signature scent ! tropical, sweet, fruity, citrusy, florally, woody. it's just so me. it makes me so happy. i love pairing it with coconut fantasy by body fantasies

Its a good tropical boost to add to any tropical scent, overlay this to B&B Works Coco Paradise and I also overlay this to Kayli Coco Vanilla Utopia it just adds a tropical boost scent.

tropical/citrus/sweet/fresh It definitely has that Escada feel to it, but still has it's own thing. Nice perfume, it would be great for after showers or a cool summer's day.

back to praise my gorgeous girl.. zaharat hawai.. the best.. i mean.. so beachy, tropical.. coconut.. pineapple.. sweet.. gourmand. this is a perfume for gorgeousness.

Great blind buy. I get a little bit of citrus, sugary smoothie of caramel and then fruit (I can't distinguish anything in particular). Solid projection imo.

Love the oil more than the perfume

Holy shinola is this stuff SWEET!! I bought a 6-pack of this hoping it would be a nice pineapple-forward fragrance....NOPE, lol. This is a sweet sugary cacophony of diabetic scent notes in a bottle lol. I'm on a sugar high just wearing this! (I never thought I'd EVER say such a thing...wow, but this is the sweetest frag I have EVER smelled!!!) It's just sweet sweet sweet from start to finish...no woods, no smooth finish, just sugar-shock from second-one to second-done. I can't make out any distinct scent-notes like what is listed in the pyramid for this fragrance...it's just sweet. I know this is supposed to have pineapple and coconut in it...but hell if I can smell em. This actually reminds me of the smell of the pina-colada mix that we used back when I bartended. One time during a quiet night shift, I decided to pour some of the straight mix into a shot glass and taste it. Bad idea..... So so sooooo overbearingly sweet...sickening almost...that is what this frag reminds me of. If this stuff had any sort of development as it was worn, I think I could really like this fragrance-oil as an additive to something else that needs sweetness...like "Encre Noire" or "Thameen - Woody Oud". Unfortunately, this one is just a one-trick pony I will say this of the fragrance, a little goes a LONG WAY!! Just a little dab of the oil on my skin lit up the whole room and kept me in a cloud of sugar for hours. Got a little gaggy towards the end of the wear...as I was just literally sick of smelling the sugar, but overall...this is a GREAT sweetening layering tool for bitter frags that need a tropical punch.

An interesting fragrance. It is unisex, but I honestly feel it leans a bit more female. I did a blind buy, and I was kind of hoping it would be similar to the Fiji scent by Old Spice, but this was not the case. Upon applying it, the pineapple and strawberry are very prevalent. It is incredibly fruity. After a while on my skin, it stays fruity, but becomes more floral and the coconut note comes out, the pineapple scent becomes a bit more subtle. There is also sort of a hint of musk to it as well which I think is quite nice. It is one of those perfume oils that does not project too much, it stays close to the skin, but lasts and stays strong. I feel like this would be a nice fragrance to wear for a walk on the beach or a day by the pool. It certainly is a good example of what comes to mind when one thinks "tropical". Being a male, im not sure I can get away with wearing this, so I may end up giving it away to a female friend who might enjoy it. Overall, it is a high quality scent, I really like it, but im not sure it's suited for me. If you are female and thinking of blind buying it, I would say go for it, it only cost me $4, so it was worth it.

I bought this because I did a deep dive on what fragrances Al-Rehab makes that are clones of what fragrances, and I saw that this (and two others) were clones of Creed fragrances. At $3 a vial through Al Rashad, ANY Al-Rehab fragrance is cheaper than an actual SAMPLES of Creed fragrances. I have no point of comparison between this and Virgin Island Water, I can only judge this fragrance on it's own merits, and I can confidently say that there is no way in HELL that this fragrance is Unisex. This is a young woman's fragrance, teenage to early to mid 20's, it is VERY fruity and sweet, to the point of being cartoonish, which not necessarily a bad thing if you like a fragrance like that. But the only way I -- as a man in my mid 30's -- could wear something like this is if I were wearing a brightly colored Hawaiian shirt, carrying a tiki drink made in a coconut (complete with miniature umbrella), and there were steel pan-drums playing the background. I dress in black Dickies workwear all the time and shave my head. This fragrance does NOT work for me. I gave it to one of my younger female coworkers and she adored it. XD

First off let's establish that I enjoy sweet, fruity, fresh and not heavy perfumes. C-Thru pearl garden, escada, ariana grande, Beyonce heat rush... Think teenage girl kind of vibes. (I'm almost 24 lol) Review for the roll on version. The opening is very promising, straight from the bottle it smells very sweet, fresh and fruity. I can smell the strawberry and pineapple, maybe a hint of citruses but not dominating. Unfortunately no coconut as I hoped. When applied on the skin, the fruity notes go away rather quickly (30min) and it washes down to some kind of soapy scent. I'm not a fan of soapies, but this one isn't that bad really. It still has that fresh and floral kick to it with a slight pineapple undertone . Not sure about the caramel. I can sense some sweetness, but it's not too distinguishible. To be honest it kind of smells like sunscreen. Overall it's definitely a feminine smell to me, good for hot weather, not too invasive. I'd give it a 6,5/10 Maybe I need some more time to get used to it.

I have the roll-on oil. This oil performs differently on paper than on skin for me. On paper there was a sugared pineapple (not fresh, juicy, or tart, but heavy and sugared) note that gave away to sharp synthetic woods within 1-2 hours, not impressed. On the back of my hand the sugared pineapple note lasted a bit longer, but because of the moderate silliage I had to smell my hand up close, and the sharp woods still came out. I finally wore it on my neck, on a hot day when I was craving pineapple. Surprisingly, the pineapple lasted all day as a gentle whiff, pleasant, noticeable, but not overpowering. During the 8+ hours of wear the sharp woods were nowhere to be found. Pleasantly surprised, as I did not think it would be wearable because of the woody notes that I don't like. Now it will stay in my wardrobe. I'm not familiar with Virgin Island Water, cannot comment. But this little gem is interesting in its own right and worthy trying if you like sugary pinapple/pina colada.

I just got this and I smell melon and a slight youthful powderiness. It’s like this Escada turquoise oil I have from scenturion/Oudora but this is not screaming melon as much as that one does. I’ll try and update this when I do a proper wear but for now, I quite like this. I keep wanting to smell my wrists out of how much I like it. I love fruity fragrances and this one is like a nice artificial mango without the screechiness. It’s well blended so the artificial sense to it is just a heightened smell of melon. If the rest of the perfume range is like this, I’ll be happy to purchase them. I like this a lot, has a moderate to big projection depending on how much you put on. It lasts at leave 7 hours and the price is inexplicably cheap. This is well worth it.

Zahrat Hawaii is very fruity. I had to delete my first review because after wearing this a few more times, I realize that my perception of it has changed. That has happened with a few Al Rehabs! Haha. This has a citrus opening, rich, ripe fruity middle, and a heavy patchouli base. The fruit is sweet, like pineapple and strawberry, with a banana and maybe a hint of coconut. The impression is very tropical and fun, like a mai tai. After about an hour you get the patchouli making this a more interesting party. Update: after a few more wearings I have discovered that something that mixes in with the patchouli base to produce a funky, unpleasant smell so I can't wear it anymore. Sad, because I really like the first hour of this.

I’ve had this for a while and put it down for a few months. This has softened a bit which is great because two little dots would make a huge sillage and now a a bit more on each wrist makes a hug sillage😭. I agree with the comment below, this could be worn by a man too not because of woody notes but because it’s like a fruity aquatic perfume. It’s not sweet in a masculine or feminine way. I think one could argue it leans feminine because it isn’t a typical blue male scent profile, but a man could wear this and layer it with Bleu de Chanel Parfum for example and he would smell great I think :). This has lasted over eight hours just by rolling it on my wrist only!

I got this for like £2 off eBay and I am happy with it. I have never tried anything like a fragrance oil I think this is but it's very sweet. I don't smell any coconut but I definitely smell the pineapple and strawberries. it is REALLY sweet smelling but also I think it smells rather clean which I love both. Probably be a lot better for summer days and definitely more for a younger woman. reminds me of fruity shampoo and the kids lip glosses from the 2000s. very nice and pleased with the price. I kept seeing al-rehab fragrance on tiktok and I had to buy for such a great price. I have also bought secret lady and silver but I haven't tried them yet.

The opening of this is excellent. It's really strong fruity tropical with a heavy hint of sugary candy floss. If it were to stay like this it would be a definite 9/10. Unfortunately that fine smell fades away after an hour as it drys down to a very feminine musky perfume (the exotic floral notes perhaps?). Longevity is very good, after about 10 hours it's still there as a light skin scent. Sillage is moderate with a couple of dabs to the neck. Overall I'm a little disappointed, mainly because that opening is so good you just want it to last!

I’m surprised by how much I like this. I’m not into coconut, AT ALL, but in this it’s faint supporting note and I don’t mind it. It’s sugary sweet pineapple and strawberry, very fresh, an almost watery fragrance. It dries down to a kind of powdered sugar vibe, which I’m totally here for. I would have said that this was a purely feminine scent, BUT I made my husband try it (he’s into pineapple notes), and it was totally different on him, his skin chemistry pulled out a fruity aquatic fragrance, it totally worked as a masculine scent.

My review is for the 35ml EDP. The cap is very poor quality but the matte glass bottle is pretty. I don't notice any specific coconut or piña colada notes. More like a fruit salad, with strawberry, citrus, and pineapple, but the coconut doesn't stand out on my skin. It also has a slightly alcoholic aftertaste. The longevity is quite short, a couple of hours being generous. It’s nice but I wouldn’t repurchase.

It's "nice". Can't say I would go out of my way to purchase again but it is pleasant enough. Very heavy Pineapple when first used, the floral and woodsy notes make their way in pretty quickly, about 10 min or so. Lasts about 2 hours on me. If you want a real Carribean-esq fruity scent from this house, purchase Fruit then mix with Kuumba Made Black Coconut.

Zahrat Hawai is a refreshing pineapple-pina colada beverage of a scent. I don't pick up any patchouli which is odd since I'm typically very patchouli sensitive. This is one of the lighter Al-Rehabs in terms of sillage and longevity, projecting about an arm's length and lasting about 5 hours on my skin. This one is a fun tropical vacation in a bottle.

I purchased this perfume on a holiday in Macedonia. I enjoy it a lot! It's fruity with a creamy base and a hint of wood. It's great during the summer; I wouldn't wear it in any other season. It's a casual scent that's complex enough to be worn by adults. It lasts quite long although it's not a super strong perfume. You wouldn't overwhelm people.

As someone who owned Selena Gomez EDP, the chocolate and vanilla on that one dives ZH and that miles apart in difference on my skin. This fragrance sadly doesn't cooperate with my skin but I've ran through endless cans of its air freshener over the years. It's a quick mood lifter after a punishing day at work.

Another interesting roll on from Al Rehab with very decent quality ingredients. A tropical summer vibe that is a cousin of Creed Virgin Island Water. This roll on is inferior to the top notch other rolls from Al Rehab in term of longevity on skin (3 hours) and sillage. But the smell is very decent. 6.5/10

Beautiful tropical drink smell. I wasn't so sure about it when I ordered it because pineapple in any perfume typically gives me a terrible headache. This one didn't bother me at all. It's a fun offering and with summer ending what a great way to remind you of your summer vacation.

This smells like Hawaiian Tropic suntan oils from the 80's. Pineapple and strawberry daiquiries. Not much else. It just reminds me of watching the girls bronze in the sun and lust. It is a teenager smell to me.

Sweet, fruity, and I get a vanilla vibe even though it's not listed. I'm just judging by the opening, but I like it. I cannot speak on the drydown or performance.
