Stallion

This is a dupe that is CRIMINALLY underrated. The biggest downside to this one is that the opening smells like a far cry from the beautiful opening of Layton - However after about an hour it's like 95% identical. The longevity on this is really good, I get about 7-8hrs consistently so my recommendation is to put this on about an hour before you leave the house. Is it as good as Layton? Obviously not. HOWEVER it's about 1/4 the price and is really close to what it's trying to replicate - so close that I think that someone who isn't super familiar with Layton probably couldn't tell the difference...so IMO it's worth it. I got extra lucky and got this one on sale for even cheaper so I'm happy with it!

I LOVE this fragrance its such a steal I get multiple compliments a day wearing this and for the price its super good lasts me over 6 hours and radiates a couple feet around me ive never owned Layton but based off of the quality of this im going to assume they smell similar I seriously think this is best blind buy ever I genuinely don't think I could have got more lucky

This is quality! I have tested Layton and Exclusif and feel that this sits kinda in the middle. Granted, I've only been exposed to them once but didn't stop sniffing my hands for longer that I want to mention. Definitely closer to Layton but is a tad deeper hence the reference. This was my first ALT experience and I am very much appointed!

Smells pretty close to Layton. One thing I noticed is that the drydown kinda smells like a glazed donut, but I love it.

This has great potential for a fragrance but it smells way to alcoholy for me and stings when it comes out of the bottle.

Ooof. I do not enjoy this, it has a severe muskiness and a hard cedar that create too much harshness in the base. The opening, however, is quite enjoyable. Soft cardamom, but with a peppery nuance too. It's like Indian food, but perfumeified. Nothing smells pointedly natural, and I realize most ingredients are synthetic in perfume, but in this composition it has a "fakey" overall tone. I cannot actually compare this to Layton, as I've never smelled it, but I'm not impressed with this as a singular fragrance.

I owned both Layton and this, it was very very close. The only notable difference is stallion was quite a bit stronger. Mind you I was comparing to a pre reform batch of layton
