Atacama

This is what I wanted Olympea to be. It is a mix of MM Beachwalk and JHAG vanilla vibes, and totally a unique fragrance. I like this one better than the 3 former mentioned. Initially, the scent reminds me instantly of vacationing in Florida, kayaking through the mangroves After the initial 15 min, the drydown is where the magic happens IMO, so give it some time. The vanilla comes through more and it settles into a really nicely blended fragrance with the florals and salt. I think if Olympea/Beachwalk and Vanilla vibes where "almost there's" for you (like they were for me), this one would be a good one to try. I'm glad I held out!

This is very lovely! It reminds me of Vanilla Vibes, but I like this one much more. It's salty, soft, flowery with a touch of sweetness coming from Tonka bean that gives it that sweet, vanilla tone without being just straight vanilla. Very sophisticated, wearable, inoffensive. Atacama is inspired by Atacama desert that comes to life and I think they captured it just perfect. I can smell the salt, heat and the blooming flowers in the air! Beautiful.

Pleasant and nice perfume. It's a soft and sweet floral but with an added interest from the cashmere base. I like that it is floral without being powdery/creamy.

Boring, sunscreeny, salty perfume. Inoffensive, but also nothing to write home about. Almost indectable despite spilling the whole sample on myself, then completely gone in an hour. The faux desert flowers (probably a result of the fresia+sage) are really nice at the end (almost Mojave Ghost-like), but so fleeting that you might miss their 15 minutes of fame easily if you are not actively smelling yourself. The soft, salty beginning is also nice, but nothing special. This scent is exactly what the "OK" rating is for. And I'd almost rather be hated (and memorable) with my perfume than just "OK"...

I love the fantasy of a majestic high desert in South America, but I am not transported or enchanted. On first and second impressions, it is very similar to a CK perfume (Reveal? CK2?).

Summery, cucumber and sea salt floral that's gone in seconds. Definitely unisex - I would even argue it leans more masculine. It's cute but nothing special.

Mmm! I had to spray my sample 3 times on my arm before I could really get a feel for what I was smelling - it’s subtle like Molecule 02. I think this could be the ultimate skin scent- like salty skin but slightly creamy. I don’t know how else to describe it- I feel like this is what a magical human would smell like. It’s not necessarily the same scent as this but it also reminds me of when I drove into Sedona and it had rained the day before and the whole town smelt sweet. This could definitely be a scent you could overspray and still wear to the office. Reminds me of AnOther by Le Labo, in concept.

This was a blind buy for me. Since I'm learning individual notes, I decided to see how salt is interpreted in a perfume. Atacama is literal. Named after the driest desert in the world, that's exactly where this scent transports me to. It literally makes me insatiably thirsty. I hated it at first but it's slowly growing on me, plus it's been great for my kidneys. I'm going to wear this next on a rainy day to see if I can achieve some degree of balance.

I love this! It’s salty and beachy and lightly floral without sunscreen vibes. It’s an easy reach for the warmer months. I bought 2 extra spray samples to wear it a little more before committing to a FB, but I have a feeling I’m heading towards that. It’s just really pretty.

I smell iodine so strong it makes me nauseous. Tried to wait and see if it develops into something more pleasant - no luck.

I agree with hotrodangel. Much too short lasting to be bothered with. But a nice inoffensive slightly marine opening.
