Alûstre Spectre 596 – 154 - Portrait of darkned spice. This perfume is one of a kind, unusual and quite unique and I never really smelled anything like this. Its definitely unisex and quite elegant. The aromatic profile is interesting and I have nothing like this in my collection. The aromatic unripe hazelnut and cardamom plays perfect with lightly springled hawthorn in the opening. The note of thyme and cypress is uplifting and blends in without edges. This all together evokes a mildly clean and fresh-spicy feel. I love the thought of white clay in the composition, it gives away a sun dried and earthy feel. Dry, not sweet actually, with a sort of hay-like pleasant vegetable finish, but not in a green way. The oakmoss is not characteristic. The Mate gives this composition a very zen-like feeling. This perfume has an overall pleasant ’powdery’ drydown in a mildly aromatic way. On my skin the longevity is 4 - 5 hours. Sillage is 0,5 m. Alûstre Spectre 596 – 154 is perfect for casual everyday wear and yoga-class.

I got a 2.5ml sample a while back. I sprayed 5 sprays on my arm, and couldn't smell anything but alcohol. I hated it, and put it away. For pure fun, I put it on again today. 2 sprays, on the arm. Now I get a whole lot of notes, and it truly is a great fragrance. It's not a powerhouse, by any means. But it's definitely letting its presence be known if you get close. Of the skin, i get a fresh, spicy and aromatic scent. I can smell the clay note. It literally smells like a clay vase or a lump of raw clay. Very photorealistic. It does however, not push of the skin. I'm a little disappointed that I can't really detect the hazelnut. Score: 7.5/10. It is Very good, but not quite great. It Needs more projection and push for the price point. But the scent is familiar yet unique. Which is a hard thing to pull of. I'll keep using it for the warmer days of spring and will edit the post if anything changes. Blind buy safe, but too expensive for a blind buy. Sample if possible.

Cardamom, black pepper, bitter blood orange, jasmine, bergamot, clove and a hint of something earthy and dirty. Cumin in small doses perhaps? Pleasant on paper, stunning on skin.
