Purple Elixir

ALIEN + LICORICE?! Yes please! Eagerly awaiting my $6.41 investment to arrive. Update: So good! I'll also be ordering backup bottles. It's like a polite Alien, and also reminds me of Good Fortune and Catch... me (not a dupe, but highly reminiscent.)

I don't like writing negative reviews, unfortunately this "perfume" if you can call it that, triggers annoying sensations in me. Meanwhile, the term Elixir seems quite vilified and abused to me; if it is intended as "Elixir of nothingness" ok, here we go. In order to make money, any odorous liquid is now produced without looking anyone in the face. Unfortunately, at the first spray I did not perceive any element described in the olfactory pyramid, only a devastating and honey-like low-level chemical, plastic impact. Are the sunny notes intended as the sunlight hitting the windows displaying this massacre!? Everything else is a mirage.

Perfume? It looks like a liquid lipstick. Take all the cosmetic bag and throw it in a pot, you will have this result. The fragrance is composed of synthetic and incessant flowers followed by a horrible,chemical amber and anise. P.s. If Alien begins to take the attitude of this perfume (since it has become similar to this year by year), mugler will regret it. Rejected.

This,IMHO, smells like the free sample scent that Fragrancenet always sends you with your order!!! LOL. Again, like with Alyssa Ashley Extreme Musk, I can barely smell anything upon application,it goes immediatley to skin scent..... Does not smell like Alien !!!... What I do smell....could have been way better...if they oomphed up the notes !!! Big "MEH" for me....sorry.

This scent has a big dose of white flowers, musk and amber. It feels like a mix between Alien and Armani code, that evolves into a make up powder scent, a big fluffly powdery scent. I read mixed reviews but on my skin this little gem is getting better and better. I ordered a few back up bottles. Very inexpensive in price but not in fragrance to my nose. What a discovery!

I ordered a huge bottle of this and I am not disappointed. this smells very familiar and besides that a prominent anise note. I looked no further than unearthlyapothocary's review; she nailed it perfectly : "this is alien + licorice" and its cheap as chips with solid lasting power.
