Audrey's Red

It's a really good cherry scent...Deep and dark, and thick boozy potion, it stole my attention for weeks even though I own hundreds of perfumes and usually change my fragrance every day (or several times a day). It's a cherry, at last. After so many attempts to find it in other compositions, here it is now - combined with chocolate (quite a bit), rum and a subtle touch of flowers. Perfect for cold weather, I'm also curious to try it in summer, must be fabulous for summer nights out. Luv it.

Very lightweight, flat and dusty. Smells vaguely like a hint of a cherry cordial with vanilla and rose, but I was hoping for something with more roundness, booziness and weight to it. I’m not getting enough of the cocoa, either. There needs more in the base notes to give it some heft, and more of a lift from the top notes. It all just goes flat and doesn’t feel like a finished perfume, to me, and the base oil starts to pop through. I’m afraid this is a pass.

I've worn and enjoyed this beauty for a couple of days now. Boozy, hypnotic, deep cherry. Not the juvenile sweet cherries we frequently encounter ... this cherry is serious, seductive yet still knows how to have fun. It has a tempered sweetness, resinous warmth from the amber and I am getting some smooth leather which may just be the labdanum. The other notes remain in the background while the rum and cherry lead the squad. Lasting power is stupendous at over 8 hours on my skin, sillage is good letting you know its presence but does not overwhelm. Audrey's Red is the epitome of the sultry, no-nonsense, high octane cherry and I am enthralled with it.
