Club

A great smoky, woody scent, that is unmistakably masculine. The top-note is somewhat bitter sweet and the dry down is woody. Silage is about arm length and the lasting is good (>8 hours) on fabric. On skin it transitions to a sweet, cedarwood accord, which I really enjoy. February 1, 2026 - rejoinder: So Club is a straight on dupe of Halfeti by Penheligon's. And it is one great rendition of the original. Fragrance in itself is a fairly devisive one , with people either love it or abhor it, no grey area. I let it macerate and it is a beast of a fragrance now, I can get whiffs of it after a day of application. Tiger (Rayhaan) vs Club (AMD): Tiger has prominent black tea note as well as a lactonic note similar to Helfeti while the Club goes more spicy especially in the opening. However, Club has a magical and stronger Sandal wood base which the Tiger lacks. I enjoy both.

I regret to say that my experience with this perfume was a letdown from the start. Despite being a fan of bold, long-lasting fragrances with good sillage, this one fell flat for me. In fact, it's the worst perfume I've ever had the misfortune of trying. The scent is overwhelming and gives me a headache. Unfortunately, I made a blind purchase online, which I now realize was a mistake. I've only used it twice, and both times it left me feeling uncomfortable and eager to wash it off. Needless to say, it's now been relegated to the dustbin. Lesson learned: Always try before you buy, and don't rely solely on online reviews!

That’s interesting, because on me it’s quite balanced. The opening is strong for a few minutes, but then it becomes a gentle woody-musky scent. Seems this one behaves very differently depending on who wears it.
