Poire Émeraude

This is so pretty and quite airy for a floral, fruity gourmand!! I typically stay away from those but this one is very well done and I love it!! Yes, there is caramel and almonds (which lends a bit of powdery-ness) but neither note is heavy and it’s what makes this fragrance so good. I love the fruity floral opening, it’s very feminine and so lovely! The pear note is more pronounced on my skin (thank goodness) and the florals are coming in quickly too. The almond/caramel notes come in later, maybe after 15 minutes? But it’s not overpowering, it’s more of a soft and fluffy/powdery texture to the scent... Longevity is great; hours and hours on my skin. This is definitely more on the feminine side of fragrance, my humble opinion though. All in all, this is lovely and I’m excited for Fall to arrive. It’s the perfect transition fragrance from Summer to Fall ☀️🍁🍂🧡

First, this is a 20/10 for me. Let’s start there, and highlight that I love this damn perfume so much! It’s fruity, sweet, but also a little fresh. Opens with bergamot and pear (an excellent combo that I instantly pick up on). Then that caramel hits. The type of soft chewy caramel that melts in your pocket and gets stuck to the inside wrapper. Some almond pokes through but it’s not nutty in any way. It’s the same almond you get in Almond Harmony, Zuccarata, and Italica. Not a heavy gourmand fragrance at all, but it has the essence of one. This is a signature-scent type of fragrance, and I was instantly obsessed from the moment I smelt it. Blind buy safe? — Yes, buy with confidence. BUB worthy? - Yep! The hype fragrance of 2026 (like Chatelain 22 was in 2025)? — Absolutely!!!

This is very pretty and feminine. I was hesitant to try it because I don’t like cherry or almond. Thankfully, I notice no cherry or almond. If there’s almond in this it lends the tiniest bit of powderyness to it. When I first sprayed it I was immediately reminded of Kayali’s vanilla candy rock sugar. These two could be sisters, VCRS being the younger more youthful sister. VCRS is more syrupy sweet and dense. While poire emeraude is more airy, and smooth. It’s sweet but not as gourmand. The pear note is more prominent, and the jasmine adds some depth. It is not overly floral though, all the notes are perfectly balanced. As for the resemblance to jpg la belle, that one is much heavier and smells more perfume-y in comparison. Update: Tried again a few days later and there’s a beautiful rich creamy caramel coming through now. And I notice more of the amber. It’s truly stunning. Adding it my wishlist to upgrade to a full size bottle.
