Chypre Noir

A very, very sharp, dry, intense "leather" fragrance. Something I could compare it to is Aramis, but without any of the fruitiness that Aramis contains. What's amazing is how natural it is. You'd be forgiven for not realizing the white floral it contains (I didn't at first, anyway). But the intense dry leather note seems in reality to be a bitter white tuberose at heart..its a floral that borders being petroleum -like in its bitter green-ess. I find the duality of it fascinating and can't get enough of it. This is an intense one, definitely masculine. I love it. Next dry my skin smelled sweet and vanilla-ish, which was a surprise.

Ahh it finally has a page. I love this thing. Mostly for layering because it has aspects that other scents I like are missing to be complete. Ambers that need some green bitterness pair so well. But the scent itself comes in clutch for when I just want something beautiful stern and confident. Recently I sampled knize 10 and immediately thought of this, also when I sampled bandit I thought of this too. Bandit has a soft petal smell like I can feel the texture of a flower or a banana. This doesn’t have that. Well made suits my tastes but there areeeee others so don’t feel like you’ll die without it
