The pleasing one The perfume Enclave by Amouage has been in my possession for about a year, so enough time to get to know the scent in detail and to write down my scent impressions in a review. Concept: As with every perfume from Amouage, there is a concept. In this case, the Musandam fjords were chosen as inspiration. In contrast to earlier appearances, which had emotions as a concept, nature was chosen here. The aim was to capture the coolness of the sea and the heat and dryness of the sand and the cliffs, so quite opposing motifs. I think Amouage and the perfumer Julien Rasquinet did an excellent job with this fragrance. Scent: The scent itself starts dominated by the mint and the cinnamon. A certain sweetness resonates with the scent in the background and gives the whole fragrance a modern and youthful touch. The opening reminds me of a combination of a mint chewing gum paired with a cinnamon chewing gum. The mint remains present in the entire course of the fragrance, even if after a few hours the base notes become more and more prominent. In the heart notes, I can't really make out notes like rose, incense and vetiver. But I think that the patchouli gives the scent a certain depth and richness. The middle notes give the fragrance a certain masculinity, even if it is officially unisex. The base of the fragrance is the amber, on which the remaining notes stand. As already mentioned, the scent has a pleasant sweetness in the background, which is just rightly dosed. Overall, the scent comes across as very pleasant. In my opinion, the DNA is a real magnet for compliments! People who normally do not deal with niche fragrances will certainly enjoy this fragrance. But even for experienced noses, the fragrance has enough complexity and depth to be interesting for them. Here a very successful balancing act was found between likeableness and creativity. There is some criticism of the base of the fragrance, that it smells too synthetic or random. I can only understand the point of criticism to a limited extent, as it seems to me to be more of a complaint on a very high level. In my opinion, the scent is very natural and of high quality, just like all other Amouages. Longevity / projection: Both longevity and projection are very good for the fragrance. No beast mode, but still very good. The first two hours in particular are characterized by a very strong projection. The mint helps to radiate the scent strongly :) After that, the scent calms down and it is very pleasant to wear with a moderate projection. Overall, you can expect a longevity of eight to ten hours (depending on the skin type), which is more than sufficient. Presentation: The new boxes from Amouage come in a revised form. The box opens like a book, on the inside is a text by the perfumer and a list of the scent notes. The bottle corresponds to the previously known male Amouage bottles. The color here is dark green, probably a reference to the mint and nature. Occation: Enclave is a versatile fragrance that can be worn on a wide variety of occasions. It is young and dynamic, which is why I would rather wear it in my free time. But even at work you will certainly get a lot of compliments with the fragrance, because it is very pleasant! The fragrance can be worn at any time of the year. Only in hot summer is this scent a little too rich, which can make it too strong and cloying. Summary: With Enclave, Amouage has released a real magnet for compliments. It is interesting for beginners to the niche world because of its likeableness, but the fragrance also has enough complexity for experienced noses. Minty, spicy, floral earthy patchouli incense with the a good dose of a high quality amber accord. It actually has a bay leaf smell to me. That sharp mentholated herbal green. Get the oily green and dry green. Like a peppermint patch. Which I'm very familiar with as we had ornamental peppermint and spearmint rows leading to porch. The way it blends is phenomenal and creates such a unique experience. Another 10/10. I'm in awe once again. I get a posh cosmetic note. Patchouli takes on some of the sweet tones as it drys and the labdanum shines and then some. It's turning heads and you can see peoples eyes pop as the gears in their heads roar into action. Smoke coming from the ears. I must admit that I didn't have high hopes or expectations for this one as I didn't find these notes very compelling for an Amouage. It comes off as basic but I'll try any sample of Amouage i can get. Especially when the price per ml is lower than the full bottle. Maybe a mix of the low expectations and the basic vibes with a good dose of some of those amazing house ingredients that has me so impressed. The review above makes some really good points. 65% gucci basic with 35 %amouage was probably in the brief. Maybe more 50/50. I like it more and think it's just as good if not better than Reflection Man. I'm pretty sure they fortified two different natural patchouli sources. The vetiver is standing out more to my nose now and fits in so well with the mint. It transitions a good amount throughout. I get reminded of a few different scents through the experience. I can tell they hit it with some of the maltol goo. Getting that sweet tart fruitchouli musk that stands out long into the wear. A nice intriguing smoke comes and goes like a final celebration to this potion. I find it very enjoyable and a compelling wear. It's worth it for me. Loving it. Seriously in consideration for the big bottle. It's performance is the big reason for me on this one. I got a weathered nose and this has that old school performance of lore. A few sprays goes on thick. On the skin still a day and a shower later.

Bottle came in: here are my first impressions on skin: it’s a lot lighter than I thought, and much more mass appealing than I anticipated from amouage. There’s a little bit of a mint chocolate chip ice cream vibe going on here, with some sweet stickiness from the resins. Unique and mass appealing at the same time. That’s all I have for now, and I’ll come back later after multiple full wearings. I’m a little let down, but I feel like this is the fragrance that after 4 wears, you would become addicted to it. Update: it’s only been three full wears but I think it’s enough to give my thoughts. When I first got this in, I sprayed it on and expected an instant wow factor like so many of the Amouage’s give me. That didn’t happen at all. I sat with it , and throughout the full wearing, enclave felt a little flat, unique but somehow “too” mass appealing, and long lasting but weak in projection. Then I wore it to school the day after and experienced the magic. It’s sweet in the opening with a tame but noticeable mint opening. After 40 ish minutes, the resins unfold and project a sweet and sticky scent that, when paired with the mint, gives off a bit of a mint chocolate chip ice cream vibe. In the dry down, the resins get a bit more sticky, and the mint isn’t very noticeable, but this is a very solid fragrance. Out of my collection of 12 Amouage’s, this is my least favorite, but I still very much enjoy it. It’s the easiest to wear, and one of the few Amouage’s that I can comfortably do 6 sprays without being self conscious about clearing a room. That’s not to say it’s weak, it’s actually quite strong, but since it smells like mint and sweet resins, it kind of just fits really nicely in the air. 9.0/10.

What won me over about Enclave is a sense of familiarity, as if I've known it all my life, as if it's been always part of my daily routines; this is because the scent actually reminds me of chewing gum and all that this sweet brings with it, in terms of myths and legends: American culture, jaunty living, youth, being carefree, blue jeans.... In the opening, pink pepper and cardamom marry perfectly with mint, while cinnamon connects with vanilla in the amber base; lending support to this chewy mint is a surprising Omani incense, olibanum, the grains of which, by the way, in the Arabian peninsula are chewed just like chewing gum, because they also have a discreet balsamic taste and scent. Holding this composition together is amber, which acts as the base and is the soul of the fragrance. The projection is not exceptional, although it did get me some compliments, while the duration surprised me: the last actor to remain on the scene is leather, supported by a sweetish vetiver and cistus, which together give the dry down a nice assertive character. Thanks to its sweetness and the universality of the ingredients, this composition can be considered unisex. Fresh, yet warm and enveloping; dense, yet airy, Enclave accompanies the wearer throughout the day as it would an old friend with whom one is so familiar and who supports us, reassures us. Suitable for all occasions and all seasons, appropriate more for casual -even sophisticated- than formal wear.

Wow. What a creation. After one wearing from my decant, I ordered a bottle. Unique, and most definitely unlike any other 'mint' forward fragrance I've come across. I practically fell in love with this stuff immediately. It is much more difficult to explain, though, than just saying 'minty'. That is but one piece of this composition. It is somehow minty, and amber-y. Like cold and hot. It is so good. All-season wear, dressed up, or down. I had a few people comment on it (mostly family members & co-workers who were in my vicinity) and each of them had a different interpretation of it in the air. All were good, but It was interesting to note that, smelled up close on skin, the level of concentration delivers a very different experience than having it wafting in the air. And they all commented , specifically, on how 'expensive' it smelled. Never really had that happen before.... Which, really is where it counts (since it would be odd to have strangers wiping their noses on your neck or forearm). Just sayin'. I get no 'toothpaste' vibes from this at any point in its evolution. Those that post that in a review are probably going to say that about ANY fragrance containing the note, since I've seen that before. This isn't toothpaste. Not even close. This is a work of art by Julien Rasquinet. Glad to have it in my collection.

A unique and complex mint-amber fragrance that opens up with a strong blast of a cooling mint with spices like cinnamon and cardamom, that evolves into a leathery-amber fragrance with a little balsamicness underneath on my skin, I also get a little bit of smokiness and resins too, but they're only apparent in the mid-far drydown on my skin. This fragrance evolves a few times on skin, and more or less go in the order that I mentioned the notes, quite a pleasant wearing experience surprisingly, as someone Who tends to get headaches from some Resin notes in Perfumery, I'm glad the resins in this not only were in the background, but also quite well done overall with along with the whole composition. Leans masculine but I can see a woman wearing this if she's a fan of the scent profile and rocks it confidently, good for all seasons and weirdly so sin'e to me the first half of the fragrance feels more summer esque, whereas the remaining 50% of thr wearing feels Very much like a winter frag?😭, and this is Amouage we're talking about so I don't need to comment on projection or longevity. Definitely one of my Favourite Amouages that I've tried, very much deserving of its high rating. Final Verdict is a solid 8.7/10

Enclave is a fantastic fragrance and one of my few from Amouage that is very easy every day wearable. I have a couple hundred amazing fragrances and Enclave doesn’t have an equal or really even anything close within my collection with a similar scent profile. The spearmint opening and mid is very real but not in an offensive way as it is clean and very professional. As it starts to turn into a dry down the mint remains, albeit more subtle, and the patchouli, Vetiver, and Rose come out in a very well combined and clean presence with the leather poking through in the background. I love the house of Amouage, the complexity and the artistry, but seriously some of the fragrances are tough to wear as they can be quite polarizing. I put Enclave, Reflection Man, and R45, Lyric Man, and even Purpose 50 and Guidance 46 as the most wearable of them all...even though the last two are a little over the top for the first 20-30 minutes. But, wow...these are some seriously amazing bottles and, while expensive, they last a long time because none of them require the number of sprays most of my mainstream niche fragrances require.

I don’t really know what happened. I bought a bottle after smelling it from the cap in a store which was pretty dumb. I didn’t understand the perfume at first after I’d gotten it. I’ve worn in about 5 times and each time I very much liked it, but I didn’t love it. I’ve been spraying lots of animalic ouds recently and I just sprayed some enclave because I had a random craving for it, and I really love this perfume now. It reminds me of the super early mornings before a flight with your family when going on a trip that everyone is excited about. The perfume is a little chaotic, but it’s exciting and familiar. The mint is a tiny bit toothpastey, but it’s not abrasive, and there’s just an exciting feel about the perfume. In my opinion, it’s not the best crafted or most unique Amouage perfume, but I really love to wear it. I originally gave it a 9.0/10, and I think I will now give it a 9.7/10. I’d also like to note that I get a bit of a pickle-like sandalwood note in here. There’s not even sandalwood listed, but I get tiny touch of a briny pickle, but it somehow works really well.

Should minty scents not align with your nose, you may opt to overlook this gem. Yet, it holds a distinguished place as the unparalleled jewel in my Amouage collection (25 strong). This fragrance is a sublime fusion of potency and allure, weaving together an array of scents that balance crisp freshness with a comforting warmth, all underscored by a remarkable longevity (beast-mode level). An understated earthy/mineral nuance complements the masterfully integrated spearmint note, seamlessly melded with a warm amber essence and a whisper of spicy, and resinous undertones. The note of rose is indiscernible to me, as it's overshadowed by the dominant spearmint note. This concoction is a symphony of spicy, fresh, warm, greenery, and woody notes. It's as if it's the extraordinary progeny of Versace Eros and Armani Code Absolu, yet it transcends them with a niche sophistication that is truly peerless. This is the only Amouage bottle I've ever fully embraced to the last drop (already 75% through my second bottle), a testament to its exceptional quality and allure.

I've tried at least 200 fragrances at this point. I've never smelled anything like this before. While some fragrances have mint, this takes it to a new level. I think of Versace Eros or Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme when I think of minty fragrances. This is nothing like those. When I put my hand to my face, I am blasted with spearmint. It's supported by cardamom and florals to sweeten and smooth out the mintiness. It truly embodies a cold, windy enclave. Completely office safe. I'd say it's also safe year-round. Some might disagree with it being ok for summer, but it's fresh enough to work well. I tend to like beast-mode summer fragrances anyway. The spices and woods come through in the dry down as the spearmint settles. For anyone out there looking to add another freshie/summer fragrance to a medium-to-larger-sized collection and are having a hard time finding anything unique enough to avoid redundancy, stop. You've found it. Ironically, Enclave works great in the winter as well.

Julien rasquinet is one of the best in the game with aroma chemicals and this fragrance is a good example. This is a groundbreaking release. I can say i did smell more than 1000 fragrances in my life, but nothing like this. Opening is spicy minty, but mint stays among whole fragrance life. Even if it is different than all the other Amouages, if you blindfold me and spray it on my skin i would know that is an Amouage fragrance. There is lots of olibanum, labdanum, rose. Unbelieveably versatile, i worn it on 35 degrees and worn it on winter day and works perfectly fine in both temperatures. Longevity is monsterous, i do get over 12h on my skin. Projection is moderate, which is making it excellent wear even for the office. Got my bottle for 155€ on discounter website, which i think it is a steal for this quality and versatility. Can be worn as a signature scent. Definetly not a safe blind buy. If you want a safe blind buy amouage, you should go for Reflection man or Boundless man.

Dark sweet minty candy. Opened with the aroma of pink pepper, peppermint, cardamom, and the sweetness of cinnamon. That's what I can feel, but the pink pepper fades away very quickly and only the sweet aroma of peppermint remains. In the middle notes, there are olibanum, patchouli, rose, and vetiver. In the base notes, there are amber extreme, leather, and labdanum. But I didn't get all those notes, what I felt was just the aroma of peppermint and amber that made it like a sweet mint candy. This peppermint aroma also leans towards the mint scent of toothpaste, but believe me, it is also a high-quality mint aroma. After entering the drydown phase, when you sniff closer to your skin, you can start to sense the earthy aroma of vetiver, which makes it a bit darker, in my opinion adding to its luxurious impression. With longevity that can last on my skin for 8 hours and moderate projection. I hope the projection of this perfume can be stronger, it will definitely be cool.

My experience with other mint perfumes are Guerlain Homme EDP and L'Homme Ideal Cool, and Imaginary Authors St. Julep. This perfume is truly vivid. The opening is a fresh mint and amber, yet the way the cinnamon, amber, and cardamom notes combine give it a tobacco note to me, like sticking my nose in a packet of Bali shag. The realistic notes have the potential to cut both ways. Because sweetness does not dominate the accord, some may be turned off by how herbal this perfume can smell. At the same time, this lack of sweetness makes it an elegant smelling perfume that suits older gentlemen well. The second phase of this turns into a sweet, minty chocolate smell that's quite a bit more palatable to a general audience. This radiates in the heat, and I think suits a hot summer quite well. This is worth getting 50ml of to me, if you're the kind of person who can pull off a herbal, heavy perfume then I think this is quite a good pick for summer.

Beautiful! A perfect scent for me. It’s equal parts fun and sophisticated. I’ve heard that some people claim it smells like mint toothpaste. But, in my opinion, that description is inaccurate and rather lazy. The best way I can describe it is that Enclave gives the aroma of Pastel Mint Nonpareil candies (Google it and you’ll recognize them). A smooth, creamy, high quality mint that melts in your mouth. The opening and subsequent dry down melts over the skin and surrounds you with a fantastic ambient cloud of mint and frankincense. It’s so pleasant and inviting that you will look forward to every little waft that floats up, including in the later stages of the development. It’s not at all loud, but its presence is undeniable. A good 8 to 9 hours later, on the drive home, you are still being reminded that this was money well spent and you look forward to the next time you can get “sprayed up” with this masterpiece.

Don’t believe reviews like the one below me. Total BS. To me, Enclave has 3 phases: 1. Opens with a blast of cooling mint. But not peppermint oil to me. It’s more of a spearmint to me. But not overly synthetic or too sweet like Wrigleys gum. Like it opens minty creamy with cinnamon and maybe is that cardamom? I can see the comparisons to the smell of chewing gum because it opens smelling like a niche perfume gum kind of but I don’t get toothpaste. 2. The mid is wonderful, for me, the spearmint stays prominent but the light touch of leather and light touch of incense with a little amber starts riding in and it blends nice. The mid lasted me for hours. 3. The drydown is woody ambery patchouli. The spearmint’s there but it has faded to the background. I think this is underrated. I’d wear this in all 4 seasons. Awesome minty perfume with some depth that transitions as you wear it. 🤌🏾

Amouage Enclave is quite unique yet satisfying. It opens with a perfect balance of mint, cardamom, and cinnamon. The mint gives this fragrance a cool freshness, while the cinnamon adds a touch of spicy sweetness. You can feel the power of this fragrance especially in the opening. As it dries, the frankincense and patchouli give this fragrance a bit of resinous, chocolatey, earthiness that blends surprisingly well with the mint. I can smell amber throughout the life of the fragrance. Also, I can definitely smell the labdanum intensifying as the fragrance dries, and it gives this fragrance an appealing leather accord. Labdanum can be a polarizing note, so I can see how this fragrance may not be for everyone. I find it to be absolutely gorgeous, and Amouage Enclave is a true work of art. It blends notes that you usually don't find together, and it does this extremely well.

#941 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I got this decant along with decants of every other male leaning Amouage scent. ADP's "Mandarino de Sicilia" is my only prior experience with a scent that has a definite hint of "Wrigley's Spearmint Gum", which I probably chewed on every day most of my youth. I think everyone I played baseball with was chewing on that gum. Combine that with cinnamon and you pick up all the edgier kids that were chewing on Beeman's, Clove, Big Red, Dentyne Classic. So you'd expect guys, at least guys in my age group, to experience some nostalgia when they smell this scent. I do love it. Strong projection. All day longevity. Do I love it $380 worth? No. But I love it enough to order Abraaj "Enclosure", a $45 clone of Enclave. When it arrives I'll update this review with a comparison.

An Adictive Masterpice I had 5 ml decant and found myself reaching back to this more than i thought i would. It opens very spicy. Everyone says it's the mint accord. I'm not sure if it's that or not, but it's adictive. After maybe 1 hour, it starts to change to a spicy powdery dry scent. It's literally spicy powder, at least for me. It lasts on me a good 10 hours with just 6 sprays. With every whiff you catch during the day, you just want to be bathe in it. It's just amazing. It's very different from any other perfume you might have. You will smell like a masterpice and unique. And if you wonder if this is a complimet getter, well let me tell you that this is. You can use this all day, every day, full year around. It is deffently worth every penny.

You want to wear amber in the summer? Well here you go! A really nice, soft ambery, scent, with a deep resinous background, i mean wow The peppermint is so nice and calming!,combined with the touch of soft amber this is just so comforting! After a few hours, the resins come alive, and the fragrance start to have more dept, Great for late summer nights, enjoying food on a roof top bar, performance 10/10, i whore this one on my vacation to New York, and it was perfectly.. Love Amouage, i feel like this one with boundless are one of the last real Amouage fragrances we have, the latest releases are more mainstream / luxury designer focused, and Amouage is losing that deep misterious, character :(

So I decanted 5ml to see if I want to commit to a full bottle. I will commit as this opened my 3rd eye when I sprayed it on my arm. It's a hot summer, I went out to my car that was sitting in the sun and stepped inside where it's over 40c. I was sweating within minutes until the air conditioning started cooling properly. This shit OVERPOWERED everything, the smell of diesel and gasoline because. I drove down with rolled down windows , my pouring sweat and everything else. I understand the toothpaste comparison , but if you remember the episode of Friends when Joey said "Custard? Good! Jam? Good! Meat? GOOD!" , I say mint? Good. Toothpaste? Good. Perfume? GOOD!

The opening mint is photorealistic (and absolutely nothing like toothpaste or a candy) and the cardamom and pepper are super present as well. Dries down to a slightly sweet woody leather scent. Honestly the notes listed are pretty bang-on and easy to pick out. It’s like a minty version of PDM Carlisle, which I also love. I honestly wouldn’t call this scent difficult by any niche standard, or hard to wear. I think it’s an easy grab for fall/winter. The mint is really pleasant, the dry-down is warm and inviting. It’s eternal on your skin and projects very well. Highly recommended. Projection: 9/10 Longevity: 10/10 (easy 12hrs) Scent: 10/10

I finally got my hands on it! Lovely perfume, not insane or a must need scent- imo it is special and works in PLENTY of occasions which is why I personally bought it. Smells like toothpaste, very medicinal at the very start, and honestly despite that it does not smell bad! I layered this with Bongiorno by Acqua di Parma, I think this scent is such a flexible scent you can basically layer this with anything. Then after that toothpaste scent it kinda goes pretty quiet, and then you really start smelling that classic Amouage DNA, it basically smells like Epic at a point lol. Anyways, I love it but I’d get it on discount if possible.

Awesome fougere that is held together by rose instead of the usual lavender. fragrance is amazing but a little too strong for my tastes, Spearmint opening is really dominant fresh spicy cardamom. aromatic cinnamon. starts to blend in with all the mids after a few minutes. On my skin the mint cardamom cinnamon and rose smell so nice! It's a bit resinous as well super smooth Masculine fougere. After a few hours the mint fades, this vanillic warm amber starts to really make a presence, I smell a bit of the leather . Worth trying. Similar but Different enough from stuff like fougere d'argent or Gravitas.

Seeing other reviews I am baffled. Mint? Toothpaste? What? Are we talking about the real everyday mints and toothpastes OR the notes that are somehow remotely similar to any of these? But I smell nothing of those anyway. I definitely don't want to smell after mint or toothpaste, but this perfume is an amazing composition of who knows what. Deep, beautiful, leathery, enjoyable. Leather and frankincense are the only things I can smell and that is enough. On my hand it later turns to a strong patchouli, even to the point of repulsion! But on my shirt this does not happen or it is so much weaker there.

Just from the atomizer when taking off the cap it smells like the mint chocolates that they used to give out at Olive Garden in a good way. The mint isn't as big of a player here as many are making it seem. The mint is definitely present but this is more amber heavy with associated sweetness and contrasting spiciness. Projection is good but soft comparing to many Amouages I have tried; staying power is good. The over all impression that I have of this fragrance after a few days of wear is that it is a grown up, sophisticated Versace Eros Parfum. I would say it was a successful blind buy.

This scent falls into the category of "very pleasant for those around you, a magnet for compliments." 😍😍😍 I'm over 45, and several people from different age groups have asked me what perfume I'm wearing because they said it’s beautiful. I agree, it’s very pleasant and very easy to wear. I’ve tested it mostly in cooler weather, around 10°C and below. It’s warm and refreshing at the same time. I can recommend it for everyday, casual wear. If you want to delight a wide audience with your scent, I believe this is definitely the right choice. I love it... 👍😎👍

This is such a beautiful fresh minty perfume. I almost decided to buy it, but this is a skin scent. I am shocked to see people say this has super strong longevity and projection. On my skin it disappears after a minute. I mean, I can still smell it for few minutes if I put my nose directly on skin, but even that scent disappears quickly. I tried Enclave in official perfumery and i found a decant, but the experience is the same. I wish this can last longer, because it is super expensive for a weak scent

While Ashore and Meander are the more classic ones of the four releases because they are more dominated by a central note, Enclave and Crimson Rocks are the complex ones. Enclave is magnetic since the start as it projects a minty sillage which is very intriguing. Incense and mint, cardamome, all very dry and crips but dense and deep in the same time. I could wear it easily in summer even it it comes more on the masculine side. Beautiful release and nice to see new notes at play like the mint here.

I just received Beach hut man by amouage. Quite similar, and also, pretty different too. This is much better then BHM imo. If you happen to see the BHM hype, this is a BIT safer, and honestly more creamy and smooth. If you like minty Irish spring soap, go Beach hut man. If you like creamy woody mint, go Encalve. But after a few hours, they are more similar.. both last easily 10 hours, 6 pretty loud. Wonderful, either choice. I lean to enclave.

This stuff is nuclear. Scrubbed my hand as hard as I could with some and it’s still there. As for the smell, it is a very prominent peppermint, but it mixes nicely with the amber so that it doesn’t just smell like spearmint gum. The very bright, but also deep atmosphere of this fragrance almost comes across as creamy like a very deep vanilla extract. Has the typical amouage incense, definitely smells middle eastern. I really enjoy it.

I way slept on this. Reminds of Roja Enigma with something of a spicy cola accord, a spicy effervescence. But dries down to a powdery chocolate patchouli-rose. The mint-sweet amber play throughout. Sharp, sweet, bold. Have seen some comments alluding to this being a summertime fresh affair. I ... Quite disagree. It's more romantic feeling to me. Can be a statement piece. Very wearable, chic, modern. Julien Rasquinet is a mastermind.

Great scent opening is 10/10. Drydown very linear like most Amouage scents on my skin.Smelling the scent from the cap it oddly reminded me of side effect by inito+ambery Dior sauvage type smell. On skin it’s like a minty chocolately composition that reminded of pdm Carlisle. Enclave is surprisingly very powdery in the dry down got a comment that it smelt like baby powder.This is Amouage’s take on a mass appealing fragrance.

Opens up with a minty and cardamom blast followed by smooth warm spices of pepper and cinnamon along with an aromatic vibe and a sharp metallic amber finish and the slightest earthy hints here and there. Long lasting and sits on the skin but sillage may be limited... I also get some light florals and a tobacco vibe going on which is nice. Beautifully blended and I love the way all the notes play off of each other.

Easy 15 hour performance, new batch. Amouage did go crazy with this You need to understand it, when j first smelled this i was like nah thats toothpaste, but as my nose developed, its so good. Mint, cinnamon, cardemon, with frankincense, in the dry down it is a very cold frankincense with vetiver & amber, mint is still somewhere there, as if the frankincense is frozen. Thats what it smells like

Nothing beats this opening, damn what a mint, so addicting. I wrote review 5 months ago how it performed mid, but now after i have let it sit for few months, man this thing is solid. Lasts 9h+ on skin and projects very very well for the first 4 hours, later it is shoulder length projection. But smell is so unique and different, never smelled this type of mint and incense. Killer. Overall 9/10

I get - a lit incense stick that smells like doublemint gum mixed with freshly printed dollar bills. After a couple of hours resins come out which makes it a NO for summer. Edit: I wanted to like this but not feeling the incense used here. Its too heavy and resinous, makes the mint take a backseat. I wouldve preferred a light incense like in wonderwood or dover street mrkt

Enclave Amouage I see many says it smells like spearmint. On the opening immediately after the sprays, it smells like some kind of medicinal, medicated oil or lotion But the thing Is, it smells Good and despite average projection the longetivity is very good though it's a skin scent by the 6-8hrs but I can still smell it on 10-12hr lighty on the skin.

I did something you should never do with the house of amouage. I bought this perfume after smelling it one time from a cap in a store. As someone that owns 12 Amouage’s, they all are so incredibly different and complex on skin than they are in the bottle. We’ll see if I end up enjoying it as much as I did in the cap. I’ll update when it’s here

Blind bought this and it’s excellent to my nose. The way the resins and amber solidly the mint note is excellent with some elevation from the cardamom. Opening may be a bit pungent, but the way it settles into the dry down is just great perfumery. Excellent projection, sillage and performance. Sample first because it’s not for everyone.

This is just beautiful. Yes it’s minty, but it’s also so warm. The first amber scent I’ve actually liked. It’s strong and powerful, but it’s not cloying. It’s uplifting and fun, but very sophisticated and classy. Works wonders on colder Scandinavian evenings. Masterpiece? Actually, probably so.

The aura is huge, the longevity is huge... in the summer it has a special smell, moist.... I can't describe it. Perfection. I have bought 3 bottles so far, all 3 were consumed by my wife, in a period of about 11 months. I won't buy it again, it's not worth it... and if I buy it, I'll hide it.

Being a staunch hater of strong amber bases, I hated this the first time I smelled it. But then I wore it for a day. What a marvelous perfume. It's now among my favourites. I reckon as woody ambers go, amber extreme is one of the least obnoxious and scratchy, despite the name.

It is very very uplifting and put you in a good mood, maybe little bit strong peppermint at the beginning but give it some time and it will grow on you and you will love it. The dry down becomes very sexy creamy mint ambery and the performance is 12+ hours. Worth try it

It's funny how many people compare it to toothpaste. Dude, whatever brand of toothpaste it is, please let me know. At least my breath will smell great. Maybe I can pair it with Enclave. It can be hard for people exposed to mainstream perfumes to appreciate it.

I'm smelling carlisle and enclave on each wrist. Alot closer then I would of thought. Carlisle might be slightly better though(absolutelyNOT). Enclaves mint is just too refreshing to ignore, but the complexity of Carlisle jumps it ahead in everyday wear.

A minty, blue fragrance for rich guys. You will definitely smell sophisticated wearing this one. Also extremely unique, so people will absolutely remember you for wearing this perfume. 10/10 - I’m more happy with this purchase every time that I wear it.

Quite potent. Excellent silage and length. Very rich and spicy minty opening with warm, dark wood drydown. Complex, but a bit muddy for me. Harder to pick out individual notes. Masculine. For such a strong fragrance, very well liked by others.

my FUTURE HUSBAND smells like this. one of the best MINT herbal scents. It has personality and yet it is masculine, complete, interesting. This is a DREAM MAN. If mint was blended with the most beautiful dry spices YET stayed fresh.
