Guidance 46

I was waiting the right moment to write an in depth review of this scent since it deserves all my pationate attention. I was thinking as well which kind of approach I will take to this new flanker and I decided to compare it to the original GuidanceGuidance since so many people are curious to know the differences and the similarities. In the same time I will describe the scent itself. I don't understand at all the hate, low scores and underrate from the people who didn't get the free bottles or samples, it's unprofessional and childish. It's funny to see when the same formula in the reviews is repeated for each fragrance that is given out as PR bottles. Is it really the truth that all those perfumes are bad? I don't think so, like all those are not good. Whether you love or not the perfume should have nothing to do if it has been given for free for other people or not. By the way I didn't get the free bottle. Guidance 46 opens up with the familiar unique aroma from the original one. It's just much richer and opulent with sweeter, more fruity and more natural Pear, like added attractive and pretty fresh natural rosy scent as well thanks to the Rose water in it. It has a pampering creamy and nutty texture from Bitter Almond and with muted Frankincense it's not airy and "enormous" like OG Guidance . Because of that the scent doesn't fill the whole room but it makes an irresistible and seductive bubble around you with a sillage which is still well noticeable. The peppery kick is missing from Guidance 46. Toned down Frankincense makes this extract more versatile and easier to wear in the public areas or at the office since it doesn't bother the people around you like the original maybe does. The additional earthiness which is found in OG more than in 46 is because the Saffron is more present there due to the amount of the total notes. In the base of Guidance 46 there is an added Ambrette which can be also an ambery and slightly animalic scent, but here it gives a soft musky feeling instead with a fruity Pear aroma which complements the significant fruity character of the fragrance. Simplified this extract version is fruity floral with woody base but musky kind of softness makes it intimate as well while the original is based more on Frankincense and ambers with a fruity touch. If OG makes you smile and hugs everyone around you Guidance 46 hugs tightly you instead spreading the gentle warmth, deliciousness and happiness around you as well. I used to call the original as a happy mood, uplifting scent and I would say that Guidance 46 gives me a total olfactory satisfaction. Guidance 46 continues the same kind of style than other exceptional extracts like Jubilation 40, Honour 43, Reflection 45 for example. It's more complex than the original with added notes. It's polished until the perfection and sharp edges has been rounded. It's in every kind of way utterly smooth and luxurious. Wheather you like the original ones or these extracts more is just a subjective opinion and which characteristics you prefer. The projection of original ones can easily be too much for many so in that case an extract would be a great choice and they differ as a scent as well. The longevity of Guidance 46 is around 10-12 hours and I didn't try it on clothes because of an oil concentration. I wanted to because it would have been nice to compare the difference with the original one which stays on clothes for many days. And then in the end we have the question: which one and is it redundant to have both? As I had the original first my opinion is that Guidance 46 is not redundant. It's so gorgeous and special that I definitely want to have it. But if you don't already have either I advise you to test the both of them and decide which one you prefer. They are not the same at all but of course they share a lot as well. I think that the more trained is your nose the more differences you will notice. About the price I don't say anything since it's not the most important for me at all. If I love the scent and it's a top quality I don't care about the price. Decision's older sister. Another excellent Amouage by Quentin Bisch. Excluding the original Purpose and the Luban Al Akhdar attar, both of which I haven't tried, Guidance 46 is my favorite Amouage perfumed by Bisch. It nails the amount of frankincense, as it's not overshadowing the rest of the notes at all like Purpose 50 and Decision, and it's also a perfected and smoothened out version of the original Guidance. I always felt Guidance was missing something, I was never able to put my finger on what it was, but I tried Guidance 46 and it simply clicked, it was the first time I felt something similar to a sense of completion when smelling a fragrance. The notes here blend perfectly and seamlessly, the musky pear with the very prominent rose, elevated with a touch of hazelnuts and almonds over a resinous, woody and vanillic base. Also noteworthy is the gorgeous clean and airy vanilla skin scent that comes up after about two hours. I know this might come off completely feminine to a lot of people, but I personally think the frankincense and woods in the base help ground the scent and keep it unisex, more unisex than the original Guidance. I loved wearing this today and I never felt like I was wearing something feminine or unbeffiting of my personality. Performance is also astounding in every way. I sprayed this one very lightly as I didn't feel like smelling strongly of a feminine fragrance in case it did lean too feminine, and even then performance was far above most fragrances. Projection was really strong with a dense sillage for a few hours, after which it calmed down to a more intimate scent bubble that even now, 12 hours later, I still smell very vividly as I move around. I'm sure this might be room filling strong if sprayed more, but it's still not at the same level of Purpose 50. Longevity is excellent, like I said it's 12 hours and I can still smell it while moving so this will last ages if you spray this one normally. Of all brands that make 30 ml bottles Amouage should be the ones making them for fragrances like these, I simply can't see how anyone could finish a full 100 ml bottle with how little fragrance you need to spray for a wear.

Ok so i started owning guidance edp at first, then i tried new release by maison crivelli musc nurasana cus everybody was saying it smelled like guidance and after that i went and blind bought guidance 46 just to know which was the best out of the 3... Guidance 46 compared to edp version, first of all its better blended. More refined, you can pick up and detect better each note rather than the edp which is more of a punch of everything (still the same smell on both tho) just a better blend. Makes 46 seem more elegant and refined. At the start you get that guidance smell but it has in the first 5-15 min a different smell than the edp it has this kind of frankinsense smell to it before drying up to the guidance smell we all are so familiar... im not the fan of that small 10 min of smell but it ends quickly so np... Longevity its where my problem is at... projection or sillage as you know here its a little more intimate and less invasive as the original guidance... that could be a pro or a con depending on your taste in fragrances. Me personally i want loudness and im not getting that from 46 which from edp i do get.. and thats a down for me with 46 tbh, longevity seems good ive tested it for 3 days every day applying same spot i get around 11-12 hr longevity but tbh after the firsr 2 hrs it starts to sit close and by the 5 hr mark its already a skin scent, dont get me wrong it keeps pushing and its noticeable after the 5 hr mark but you gotta get close to smell it. Musc nurasana projects and lasts longer... so idk, i love both cus guidance smell is just perfect but i dont know how to feel about it being less invasive and more intimate U decide but smell wise i give this a 9.5/10 Longevity 8.5/10 Sillage/projection 6/10

I didn’t enjoy the original guidance, oddly enough even though we grew up burning luban everyday in our house... I don’t think it was the frankincense/luban but I that sharp tart pear and cloying hazelnut that had unbalanced proportions in the OG guidance which gave it a sweaty undertone smell. But guidance 46 has more smokiness, balanced with rose water and almond opening with the Cypriot and ambergris really helping to create a light milky shea buttery smell that still smell clean. 46 refines the edges of the original. Yes it doesn’t project as much but the longevity is the same. The pink pepper is not overpowering. After 6 hours it becomes a very rich musk distinctly creamy skin scent - as though you’ve bathed in the most luxurious body wash and gives you such a beautiful scent bubble for hours. You’ll become anosmic but everyone else smells you as it fills a room like a pleasant reed diffuser. The magic is past the 2 hour mark where the perfume seems to dance on the skin as this skin scent that makes you want to hug yourself. If guidance is a loud charismatic woman, guidance 46 is the elegant quiet woman whose aura speaks before her. If you didn’t like the OG you’ll like this. If you’re Middle Eastern youll like this as you’re used to stronger scents so they’ve made a dna that’s familiar and worn regularly. It’s worth the price imho if you lotion your skin thoroughly after a good shower/bath. I’d rather support Amouage who sources ingredients ethically .... This perfume will also last on clothing for 2 weeks. Spray moderately max 3 sprays. Luban as a raw material let alone oil is expensive for us to buy so with this inn mind you’re paying for the ethics, experience and oil content

Hear me out. I finally found Guidance 46 on a trusted discounter's site, so I've been experimenting with layering. When I layer Imaginary Authors’ A City On Fire with Amouage Guidance 46, it feels like I’m pulling two completely different worlds together and forcing them to have a conversation. When I spray City On Fire first, the opening is all abrasive smoke and cinders, but once I layer Guidance 46 on top, the sharp edges soften. The florals and vanilla smooth out the crackling fire, turning it into something richer, like embers glowing under silk. If I reverse the order, starting with Guidance 46, it’s a completely different experience. That nutty, rosy, incense base lays a cushion, and then City On Fire crashes down on top of it, injecting chaos and drama into what would have been a graceful, elegant scent. Both ways, I can’t help but notice how they share labdanum which I imagine would be like their secret handshake that makes them blend instead of clash. The smoke clings to the florals, the incense deepens the woods, and the vanilla pulls the whole thing together into a strange, smoldering gourmand-oriental haze. I have to be careful, though because both perfumes are heavy hitters. If I overdo it, I feel like I’m dragging around a bonfire in a velvet cloak. The trick is one spray of smoke, one spray of silk, and then letting them settle into each other. When I get it right, I feel the combined scent tells a story. The match strikes, the fire roars, and then out of the haze comes this unexpected softness of ripened pear rose petals, hazelnut, and incense like goddess venus rising from the ashe filled clam. OMG. I created a modern day Botticelli.

I bought a sample of this after seeing all the insane hype, people literally calling it “the scent at the gates of heaven” and OH MY GOD... I get it now. This is REALLY, really good. And the fact that it’s created by Quentin Bisch??That man needs to be stopped (or actually... never stop). This is, without exaggeration, the most complimented perfume I’ve ever worn and I’ve tried a LOT. The performance is absolutely crazy. The sillage is massive; people can literally smell me from another room, and somehow it still doesn’t feel loud or obnoxious. It’s powerful, but in a very composed and polished way. On my skin, it opens as a rich floral and slowly melts into something more oriental-woody, with this creamy base that just does not go away. And I mean that in the best way possible: it lasts all day, through dinner, into the night, and even the next morning I can still catch traces of it. It leans feminine, but the projection and presence give it a kind of quiet authority. It’s elegant, addictive, and honestly a bit jaw-dropping. The price is... astronomical, not going to lie. But at this level of performance and composition, I kind of understand it (even if I still need to think 100 times before committing to a full bottle). I haven’t tried the original Guidance yet so I can’t compare, but this version alone is enough to completely win me over. Beautiful, addictive, and dangerously easy to get obsessed with.

From "NO, thanks" to "I want to see you again and again". There's something about it that I find strange during the first 20 minutes (my nose isn't as developed to distinguish which note gives me the impression of burnt oil), but I always go back to it. I sniff it from the bottle a few times until I decide to spray it on my wrists, and then, I wait anxiously for the dry down, which is... alluring. It has texture, the texture of a high-quality oil: smooth, almost creamy. On my skin, I get mostly frankincense, olibanum, pear, and rose, and I usually dislike rose! ¿Why do I keep going back to this? I only need a few sprays, and it stays with me all day, like the memory of a single kiss from that lover I avoided the first time we met. I hate that type of power over me, but it never overwhelms! I'm a fool for a good resinous/balsamic touch. I wouldn't say this smells 'too' opulent; it is wearable, and I don't find it extravagant. It is of such high quality that it feels elegant, yet also 'different' (a well-known formula: pear and rose with a unique interpretation). It doesn't want to grab attention; it grabs attention because it is soft, feminine, yet rich and thick; it has personality. (I will test the original, hoping for the absence of that burnt note)

This fragrance has totally confused my brain. I LOVE fragrance and whilst I am no expert I can usually pick out some of the notes and also get an impression of a fragrance generally. Not so with this. It's new to me, like properly new and very unfamiliar territory. The only experience I can compare it with was when I first tried Valaya (Not comparing the fragrances!) I initially recoiled as it was also completely unfamiliar fragrance territory but then it developed into a love. I have a feeling I will have a similar journey with this. My mind is grappling to describe it but I can't. The only note I can name is almond. The rest...I just don't know. Is it pear, is it hazelnut, is it ambergris? I also detect the rose but its not the kind of rose I am used to. I think I will grow to love it but for now, we are just getting to know each other. Edit : 8/12/2025 I have had this since May and can safely say I did absolutely fall in love. I have just ordered a second bottle as I don't want to run out of it. It took a few wears but I find it stunning. It's an absolute compliment getter despite being so unusual. I adore it. It fully deserves being described as a masterpiece.

This is a Delina Parfum De Marly’s equivalent of AMOUAGE woman’s fragrance. 46 is a perfected version of the original with added levels of complexity and refinement the way the juice transitions from notes to notes is beautifully articulated. Totally signature scent level fragrance I can totally get why this is the most popular of the extraits collection Quentin Bisch totally captures the essence of amouage in this one. My Verdict Smell : First Smell 6.5 After Smelling It A Couple Days 10 ( One Of Those Opium Like Fragrances That You Hate At First But Grew Addicted To It Something About This Scent Is So Alluringly Addictive. It Has A Gourmand Qualities Despite Not Being One. The Way It Evolves From First Deterring You To Slowly Pulling You Back & Capturing Your Senses I Would Say Guidance Is Such A Fitting Name Bottle : 10 ( Beautiful Bottles Is Synonymous With Amouage Concept : 9.5 Value : 7.5 ( Luxurious Quality Luxurious Price A Safe Blind Buy? Definitely yes if you’re new to niche fragrance this is the peak benchmark to what true quality fragrance is

A while back, I purchased 100ml bottles of Guidance and Guidance 46 at retail cost from the Amouage Website. I wore the perfumes daily for quite some time. But I am now on my second full bottle of "Guidance." I adore Amouage "Guidance." Frankly, I have a difficult time distinguishing "Guidance 46" from "Guidance." Both fragrances must be what the Gates of Heaven smell like, really. I told my husband, "Amouage Guidance is the last scent I want to remember when I leave this earth." Guidance 46 is exactly like Guidance but denser, a bit creamier. And Because Guidance 46 is an Extrait version, Guidance 46 wears closer to the skin. Also, the opening of Guidance 46 is a bit more rose-forward and floral versus Guidance. I prefer the price reduction and the fragrance cloud with "Guidance" over "Guidance 46." But both perfumes are other-worldly. And "Guidance" is my forever-and-a-day perfume, my ride-or-die. I wear Guidance whenever I need to feel uplifted, calmed, relaxed, happy. I hope these fragrances are never discontinued...Guidance or Guidance 46.

Most feminine and "glowy" scent so far. I try to use it only after shower on wet & warm skin, I love how it smells delicious on clean hair, especially when I do my blowdry, the hot air makes it open better on skin and hair. That's the only way to enjoy the poudree side of this magical perfume. On other days it smells too ambery for me. Despite this, it's my one & only perfume. The best on the fragrance market. This perfume is just like a diamond, multifaced. Sometimes I smell warm sexy coconut water, sometimes hazelnut. Sometimes rose and sandalwood. The original Guidance is straight, has only one "face", that's why it was too basic for my personality. I stopped searching for any new perfume, just because Guidance 46 became my signature scent and I don't care how much it costs or how much is lasts. The bottle and lid design deserves special attention! Piece of art. The color palette 100% describes the deepest beauty of this scent. Amouage Guidance 46 is just a dream perfume that actually exists in real world. That's makes point of it's price.

I am completely in love with this perfume. I was a little afraid to buy it because some people think it smells awful. However, from the first spray, it was pure love. I feel like it's a fragrance that a mother who guides you through life would wear. It's comforting, warm, and perfect for use in mild or cold climates. On the skin, it can feel very intimate, and I feel that with the right personality, it can become very versatile. It is a true masterpiece. In my case, the first and most powerful notes are hazelnut and sandalwood. You can also smell rose, but to my nose it is not as strident as Delina's rose, and a delicate, realistic pear, nothing like slash pear. The incense is noticeable but not overpowering. The rest of the notes are less noticeable but very well blended. I am simply delighted and plan to continue buying it.

Guidance 46 is one of the best fragrances ever, a masterpiece, and it is simply a 10/10 in every lane. As an owner of both versions, I have two comments: 1) The Extrait is more on the unisex side, unlike the Guidance EDP, which has more feminine edges. The addition of sour rose water and bitter almond softens those feminine edges and makes the composition more unisex, especially on air 2) This is much stronger than the Guidance EDP, both in longevity and projection. The EDP starts off stronger; for the first hour it projects harder, but it also settles down much quicker. The Extrait, on the other hand, fills up rooms for its entire duration, even after 8 hours, it projects well. Purpose 50, Interlude 53, etc. are all projection monsters too, a higher oil concentration doesn't always mean weaker projection.

It’s quite unique and addictive. For those who claim it leans feminine, wait until the drydown. This one of the scents that starts very strong and gradually settles down as it transitions from the opening to the middle, and finally to the base. I heard a woman say, “This is so sexy on a man. I’ll sniff this man all day long.” It’s a highly opinionated scent. Some people say it’s too feminine, while others consider it unisex. However, no one can deny its incredible versatility and its ability to leave a lasting impression on people when they smell it on you. As a man, I personally enjoy this perfume and will continue to wear it because it works exceptionally well. Yes, a man can pull this off, and he won’t regret it.

After finishing 5ml samples of both Guidance 46 and the original Guidance EDP, I decided to pick up a full bottle of Guidance 46. My review is below. Guidance 46 takes everything beautiful about the original Guidance EDP and smooths out the rough edges. It’s much more wearable, refined, and elegantly blended every note feels polished and seamlessly transitions from start to finish. The original Guidance EDP, while undeniably powerful, can come off loud and a bit harsh on the nose. It projects aggressively and tends to wear you, whereas Guidance 46 feels like you wear it. If the EDP is bold and commanding, Guidance 46 is poised and confident, same DNA, but elevated in sophistication and balance.

This perfume made me feel like a powerful Ottoman Sultan. The longevity is absolutely incredible! It's not something I'd recommend for summer or for the office, but it's perfect for those days when you want to feel powerful... maybe even a little bit like a witch. To me, this smells like the signature scent of a confident woman who knows she'll be loved like a princess by her partner, no matter what. The notes blend beautifully into a rich, spicy, woody amber scent with creamy florals and a touch of sweetness. It feels luxurious, bold, and almost regal. I've also seen quite a few people say that it lingers on clothes for up to four days and honestly, after trying it, I can believe it.

My favorite perfume ever!!! I thought this was going to be super strong from reviews, like unwearable, but it’s really not. It does start off strong, but after around 4 hours, it dries down to a creamy, nutty, floral smell. But what is different to me is that the dry down is airy, and it’s more so the scent trail that’s strong. I thought the perfume was gone within hours, but a few minutes later, I got a compliment and then I started to get whifs of it throughout the rest of the night. So this definitely has great performance if I'm getting noticed hours later. I really do feel like the airiness can really pull in compliments. Sucks that the 100ml is $500🫩

If there is a heaven, it smells like Guidance 46. I first tried it on the recommendation of my sales representative, and from the very first spray, I was transported into another world. It opens sharp yet fresh, with an unexpectedly vivid greenness that feels alive. As it settles, the dry down reveals one of the most breathtaking compositions I have ever encountered, floral and woody, yet powdery; soft and creamy, yet quietly powerful. It’s the olfactory embodiment of yin and yang—opposites in perfect harmony. Everything is here, and everything is in balance. This is nothing but a masterpiece. Quentin Bish, you will forever be loved.

I camt describe what this fragrance does to me. It is basically a masterpiece. A masterpiece that cant be recreated. This is not a sweet perfume in my opinion. It is a grown up scent, little bit spicy, airy but extremely long lasting at the same time. It truly is a beast, I swear that I could smell the test strip after a month and my bag which I was carrying this strip in smells heavenly. Well I probably need to save some coins to be able to purchase this great great perfume. I haven't had such a truly emotional experience with a perfume in a long time. I don't get that some people cant stand this smell. To me, this is paradise.

So when I first tried this in a sample, I thought I hated it. Well, maybe not hate- but it was definitely not a love. I figured that I would skip it and stick with guidance. But the more I tested it, the better it got. I still prefer the original guidance- It is my #1- But I would definitely recommend this as well. It is better for summer- whereas to me- Guidance is definitely richer and more opulent. It is geared more towards night- special events and winter/ fall. I adored Guidance, but I am happy to have this one as well, so that I can wear it at times during the summer as well. @tiffanychevelleofficial

I remember first time smelling this in store, I instinctively just started smiling. This is THE perfume, for me. I couldn't stop smiling, and I couldn't stop thinking about it. This is me in a bottle. And I think that's exactly how you're signature fragrance should make you feel. It's so creamy, so uplifting and the sweet, woody and slightly tart notes are so incredibly well balanced! It's just stunning and last for every on clothes and 16+ hours on skin. Thank you Bisch and thank you Amouage, but don't do us dirty again with these overpricing. Fortunately I bought it at discount but still, too expensive.

Guidance 46 is my forever signature, a fragrance that captures everything I love and somehow gives even more. It unfolds throughout the day with shifting moods and quiet elegance, warm and comforting one moment, then softly floral and beautifully musky the next. It is the scent I reach for most, the one that draws the kindest compliments and feels like an extension of who I am. I love pairing it with my vanilla musk roller and a touch of amber rouge, the blend leaving a sensual, lingering trail that stays with me. Whenever I need to feel grounded and return to myself, I find comfort in its embrace.

The difference I'd say is that this has a pronounced nuttier opening with the added bitter almond note & less frankincense. Longevity & projection is about the same as the original to me, however, it's more refined and wears airier which I can tell Quentin lately has been mastering the art in creating loud, but soft perfumes as seen in MAB Tilia. The dry down is just as if not more addictive than the original. I can justify the price bc I can wear this all year round esp in the heat rn while the original I typically reach for in the cooler months.

This is a fragrance I’ve come to love dearly. The opening starts off as a sparkly fruit sensation, and slowly fades into a woody and floral effervescence that wraps around a subtle vanilla. On skin the opening is quite feminine, after about 30-45 minutes it dries very unisex, the woods are very prominent along with florals and a hint of vanilla giving it great depth and wearability. This could be a signature scent for any woman or man. The longevity is incredible, well over 10 hours but doesn’t project as well as the original Guidance.

OMG!! This is stunning!! I’ve just ordered a bottle of Guidance and now I have to save up and get 46 too! Well done Amouage! This opens on a stellar note of sweetest fruit, balsam and milky pear, then along comes bitter almond that’s so thick and creamy, you just want to eat it. But if you don’t like almonds it quickly morphs into the headiest old school powdery soft but strong 1950’s makeup vibe. It lasts for hours and hours and is simply beautiful. If you can get a decant and try it. Beautiful and expensive.

I have had this fragrance for almost 2 years and it’s simply beautiful NO NOTES. But! To those who say the longevity isn’t great, I promise you the room, the furniture, the people the come in after you etc, can smell you lol you’re simply nose blind. I went to smell the cap last night I didn’t get any on my nose and I couldn’t stop smelling it for atleast 30 minutes , this stuff CLINGS! I also once got some on a chair in my office and people were asking me what candy am I eating all week lolll it’s crazy

I didn't like Guidance 46 so much last summer, when I blind bought it, and I didn't really use it. Today it’s very cold and windy outside, and I tried this perfume again. Oh my God, it's delightful! It opened up its new beautiful facets to me. When the wind blew on me and I smelled a very pleasant, sexy, well-mixed and exciting scent, I looked around, thinking who it could be coming from. And then I realized that it was from me! This is my Guidance 46! I guess, now I will use this shapeshifter often.

The only reason I don’t have 10 bottles of this is because of the price. $550 is absolutely redonkulous for a bottle of perfume, but that’s why decants exist. Anyways the smell of this doesn’t even feel real. It’s actually stupid how good this is and it’s all I could ask for in a fragrance. I love rose, I love vanilla, and I love nutty notes and this has all three. It smells like a rose milkshake with hazelnut shavings on it. It does lean a bit feminine but I love this too much to care

I wanted so much to hate it when I got the sample - it’s overhyped, it’s expensive, etc etc. But I sprayed it on a strip and left that on my desk. Came back in the next morning to the most incredible sandalwood/hazelnut aroma. So I tried it - one spray for wrists and one for neck. I LOVED IT. My husband loved it. My mom, who never notices fragrance, loved it. So now I have a full size and I have worn it...almost 2 weeks in a row? Very sorry to say, it’s worth the hype.

I don't say this about many scents, but I think this one is perfect. Beautiful and mysterious. The depth and richness are incredible. It is a bit sharp up close - and I don't mean that in a bad way - but the way the scent transforms and softens when smelled in the air, it is just mindblowing. So is the price, but if you're rich enough, this is the one to get. Or just do what I did: buy 1/10 of a bottle for 1/10 of the price and it is not even that bad.

Personally, I would throw out my entire collection of perfumes and replace them with G46, I’m madly in love but it’s insanely expensive. Having just purchased MFK Oud Satin Mood 200ml and Creed Absolu Aventus 100ml both at retail boutique last Christmas, I simply cannot justify another big fragrance purchase. But, I am saving up and over spraying some others in my collection to get rid of them quicker. So in love, so madly in love. 10000000000/10

Yes. A hundred times yes. For someone who just couldn't jive with the original, this version is smoother, rounder, and far more wearable on my skin. I don't know if it's the rose note that's been dialed up more to an already gorgeous blend of notes but I am addicted. Projection is still generous, because it’s Amouage. And the price tag is insane, because it's Amouage. Waiting for a bargain to finally get this beautiful juice in my collection 🥰

They should start selling 30ml or 50ml bottles of this and I'll tell you why. One spray is enough to fill up whatever room you're in. So, unless you plan to wear this everyday even to the grocery store, a 100ml bottle is supposed to last for years and years, and perfumes do go bad or a bit sour after too many years sitting in the closet. So, why not sell smaller bottles for those who just wanna wear this on special occasions?

Guidance 46 is so nice!!! It’s beautiful it’s fruity floral nutty and woody it’s so much smoother than the original omg this is a masterpiece I enjoy this one way more it’s more wearable and not sharp! They have really cleaned up all the sharpness from the sandalwood this was worth all the money I f do not regret a single thing. Let’s not forget this one is beast mode but we all knew that :)

Isso é bom demais. Muito parecido com o original, quase redundante, tanto faz ter um ou outro. A qualidade aqui grita, é confortável, encantador e criativo, o que nem sempre acontece com os perfumes do Quentin (Delina é um tédio, não entendo o hype). Não acho que tenha cheiro de b***ta, mas meio que te leva ao paraíso, se essa for a ideia, kkkkkk. Excelente perfume outono-inverno.

Im not sure how it works but, even tho I hate the og Im in love with this. Its warm, rosy, creamy, nutty and doesn’t have the disturbing aspects of the og, Idk how to explain. Since it’s a quality work and a masterpiece, it deserves to be expensive, BUT this is waaay too expensive, I have so many bottles of niche perfume, but this.. I can’t purchase it ☹️

Guidance46 offers a brighter, jammy take on the original—smoothing out its sharper edges into something soft, radiant, and more inviting. Sun-ripened pear and hazelnut melt into rose on a base of sandalwood and a touch of ambergris. Sweeter, airier, and far less intense than the OG. When first opened I was a bit dissapointed by the longevity and sillage. But two months later it has improved greatly and I supect it will continue to grow to beast mode. I don’t love the sour opening but it subsides after 20 minutes or so. Strange but delicious smell. If an exotic carnivore plant had a smell it would be this luring scent.

I would have gone OFF if anyone said anything could be better than og guidance until I smelled this. It’s scents you smell and you just think to yourself oh that smells nice or it’s ok then it’s scents that you smell and wear and every time you say omggg. Each whiff is just like omg. That’s this. It’s perfection.

For one entire year, Amouage rose incense was my favorite perfume of all time. I didn’t think it could ever be beaten. After my 5th wearing of Guidance 46, this has officially dethroned rose incense for the best perfume I have ever tested (by a hair). Holy shit... words cannot describe the beauty of this perfume

I smelled a single drop at the flagship Amouage boutique opening - the addition of the bitter almond rounds out the sweetness in the opening, the floral are denser, and a woody base lasts forever. It’s gorgeous, but that comes from a Guidance lover and someone who hasn’t yet tested on skin. Full review TBD.

This perfume smells like a sweet whiff of heaven. Yes, buy it. If you like gourmond fruity musk you'll love it. It's ultra feminine and absolutely intoxicating. It puts a lot of perfumers to shame. It really is made for a Queen in my opinion. It smells so good, you could use a sample for scent therapy.

Funny how our noses change. I went from loudly swearing off anything Guidance like it personally wronged me to now adoring both versions. On my skin, the OG melts into this creamy, sweet sandalwood. Meanwhile, 46 shows up as a darker, spiced rose that feels like the moody older sister. Growth is real.

This is a beautiful scent but not 1/2 as strong as the original. The original is still my favorite and more beast mode. This one is stunning to have because I do feel that it is more work and everyday friendly. Truly beautiful but not worth the price tag. The original is though! Still my favorite

I love this fragrance! I purchased a bottle for myself. However, my daughter was hugging me and she noticed the perfume and how much she liked it. So...I'm a sucker for my kiddos....I gave her my bottle (which was brand new). She loves it! I've purchased myself a replacement bottle. :>)

If Guidance was a little too challenging for your nose, Guidance 46 is her smoother, more refined sister. The sharp edges are softened, the rough corners polished away. She’s creamier, fruitier, nuttier, and wrapped in the most delicate powdery veil. I equally love them both. ❤️

I got the guidance original first due to affordability. I never understood it but everyone around me loved and complimented it. Today l got Guidance 46 , smells almost the same but a bit airy . The 46 l can easily commit to and it doesn’t overwhelm my sense of smell.

This perfume is worth every penny. It is such a beauty. It is my second favorite after GUIDANCE. I like this one more for the summer months during the heat. It wears beautifully & I do feel that you can smell every single note that is mentioned. This is perfection.

I am a strait male and I love this fragrance I think it’s unisex right in the middle like baccarat! I never smelled anything like this and I like different smells and don’t want to smell like everybody. This is one of my new signature scents . It’s a masterpiece!
