Si, en cambio, deseas un perfume adaptable a contextos sociales variados, probablemente se quede corto.

Incense Rori is a highly engineered attar, or at least, I can only describe this as a sacral nectar from the core of Hojari Frankincense and Olibanum, is a symphony of resin and incense in one of the most elegant way i have encountered. Is layered in a new dimensional compression of 3D, in the sense that you feel the layers, but you feel them so close to each other that the layers are paper thin almost. This suggests the mastery refinement that went into taking the core of just 3 elements and balancing them to perfection. This is a spiritual level of attar, is Frankinciense elevated so well that in the air becomes something very complicated to describe; it is magical. It has a warm chord, that evolves into a "soapy" magical trail, But this is not all, This is a perfect close to the skin scent in my eyes, they designed this to be pulsating regularly from the skin, this isn't going to leave big trails; rather, is a very precise trail that slowly goes around your body like a very slow snake. Again, frankincense and olibanum of the highest grades - With time you will learn that this is probably one of the best "base" layers to apply more of the same family scents, is safe to say that i will try layering this with Overture or Lustre, or any Scent from Prissana, All of them will work but in different manners. I am still searching for the perfect combo, but i love it on his own. It last an entire day, nothing even come close to what this oil is. I absolutely love how makes me feel. Incense Rori is a absurdly luxurious and expensive Oil, If you have the luck to try it, you will experience something unique, that no other scent can probably reach with the same refinement, this is my presumption, I wish they would synth this chord in a bigger profume.

Thoughts of a sampling... * I concur, this along with Saffron Hamra are the best of the latest Attar collection. * Starts out mossy then goes woody. * The woods continue to evolve getting stronger until eventually morphing into a hearty cedar. * At this point it is joined by a slight spiciness. * Then incense and a sweetness (maybe beeswax) to finish it off at the end. * As mentioned by others, best post Chong Attar along with Saffron Hamra * There is absolutely no uniqueness to this whatsoever. * But it is as essential as a good pair of worn blue jeans. ** Final thoughts... Trying to decide between this and Saffron Hamra. Probably going to go with Incense Rori only because I can not seem to get consistency from the rose in Saffron Hamra.

Amouage Incense Rori (2021) - incense & earth - Oh what a glorious perfume by #julienrasquinet that truly showcases Omanese frankincense. In this attar, I don’t smell complex accords and multiple materials layered one on top of another. I get Incense specifically Olibanum - soft, balsamic, woody, and warm. He has added Cedarwood’s camphoric and leathery character and - surprising element - Oakmoss - earthy and mossy. A beautiful representation. Smoke, Tree, Earth.

So unique. I've never smelled anything like it. super warm I don't think there's anything out there like this. So complex with just a few ingredients

Try layering it with Amouage Reflextion for a truly exquisite aroma. Rhythmic fusion

Beautiful simple Attar from Amouage centered around the most lovely Omani olibanum resin which is a signature of this house. The incense is surrounded by notes of cedar and oakmoss with a fixative that gives it a pronounced lasting power. The masculine leaning scent has moderate to strong sillage and very good longevity. Like a more potent version of Bois D’Encens and probably will become a holy grail for incense lovers. Enjoy!

The ingredient responsible for that “pickle” note is Undecavertol, and it’s sitting at around 0.4% here. No idea why Julien Rasquinet decided to add it. It completely smothers the frankincense in the top. Thank God there’s no Australian sandalwood, otherwise it would instantly turn into Santal 33 territory.

Incense Rori from the Arab House of Niche Perfumery Haute Luxury Amouage from the Sultanate of Oman is part of 'The Attars Collection'; It is a Oriental Incensed Woody Amber Unisex perfume. It was released in 2021. And the nose behind this fragrance is Julien Rasquinet. A fragrance with a linear behavior in a 100% pure oil with natural ingredients of the highest quality giving a very good performance and also a great versatility, being able to be used both cold and in the heat without any problem. Khor Rori, an archaeological site in southern Oman, was once prominent in the incense trade, so it's no wonder that Amouage draws inspiration from the smell of incense wafting off the shore at dusk for its Incense Rori attar. Hojari Frankincense is a finely graduated resin harvested from rare trees in the Oman desert; the land of the best incense in the world. Here it has been associated with Oakmoss and Cedarwood, and with an Amber facet warming through this aroma for an incomparable and very pleasurable olfactory experience. Bakhoor Ruri/Incense Rori; it starts off very intense like a delicious sweet balsamic creamy mist of Frankincense's most authentic steaming bakhoor. That smokes a beautiful woody cedar, softening this ambery sweetness, incensed. More wood, now greenish and mossy gives the perfume back its initial creaminess. Incense Rori is a smoky, sweet and woody, dry green incensed fragrance. A sensory journey with an exceptional Attar-shaped horn of excellent quality!

Rich, warm incense. Incense Rori opens with a strong vegetal incense note. I forget the name of the material but it’s responsible for the “pickle” aroma in Santal 33 and Sellier. Here you’ll find it in spades although it’s blended in well enough that the highly synthetic nature of the intense aroma chemicals used smell smooth and not screechy. There is some headache inducing performance enhancers in this. I get a slight headache if I smell directly where I swiped. However there’s a solid olibanum accord that I feel is boosted by the actual material. It would be nice to smell a natural version of this instead of the chemical mess we’ve been given. Even with all my complaints I enjoy the way this smells. It’s somewhat monolithic and one dimensional however it’s a solid accord. The performance is uncanny and detracts from the beauty of the composition. The YouTube and TikTok influencers are obsessed with performance so it makes sense to make something like this last for 48 hours on skin.

Expectations are high with an Amouage attar. With a long history of excellent compositions including homage and tribute, the prospect of new Attars is intriguing. What do I want out of an attar? A complex tobacco, rose, oud or incense. Something intimate but with personality. Things that Amouage have excelled at in the past. Overall the new set is pretty tame in comparison to Attars of old. Possibly made for a greater audience acceptance or maybe regulations prevented some ingredients. Having said that there are some gems in there. Incense rori is rich, resinous Frankincense which comes across with an amber hue. On the surface, very simple and nothing you haven’t smelt by comme de garçons or Armani a dozen times, but the blending here is exquisite. A lot more opulent than expected. This may end up being a buy for me - but despite its excellence, it adds very little to the incense genre. Not a big win, but still a win all the same.

Incense Rori is quite possibly the best release Amouage has seen since the departure of Mr. Chong. It’s rich, bold masculinity coupled with liturgical incense and smooth oakmoss is not only worth sampling but actually seems to be worth the asking price. There’s a slight green, turpenic tinge to the opening incense note which is quickly followed by wafts of clear albeit ashy smoke. A leathery cedar eventually segues into an aromatic oakmoss and patchouli that feels fresh. However, this freshness is anchored by a rich incensey warmth with a gentle touch of sweet amber although this isn’t an “amber” scent at all. Overall the performance is stunning. It’s heavy yet seems to project well and lasts 24 hours on my skin. Definitely one for any seasoned Amouage user’s collection.

This fragrance is pure comfort. Warm, lightly spicy but in a comforting way. I wear perfumes for myself, not to get compliments, but this is one fragrance that has brought unsolicited compliments every time I've worn it...all by women. I only bring that up to show that Incense Rori just smells good. It feels like a natural smile in a picture of the face of someone you love...not a fake smile, or an AI created smile, but a real, warm, human smiling at you for real. No ambiguity, no confusion about whether the smile is kind or genuine or carries some deeper possibly negative connotation. No, Incense Rori is the warm caring that comes from golden moments that stay in your memory. A truly beautiful creation and one not to be missed IMO. Highest recommendation.

Incense Rori feels like building an altar to the temple of dreams - not that it smells like any of these things individually, but the way someone in a dream can be your mother even if they look nothing like her, the golden balsamic woodiness conjures walnut and mulberry and rosewood; the creamy gentle spice suggests whipped orange blossom honey, marigold-infused sandalwood attar, ink perfumed with clove and honey and musk. Applied before sleep and still whispering the next afternoon, it becomes a nightly ritual for dream incubation, precious enough to justify its price not for special occasions but because sleep itself is the special occasion, the potent pantheon of dreams deserving its own sacred preparations.

Beautifully done, linear, south Asian type of incense. While incense is the only prominent note, I'm glad to see a great rendition of this type of incense, as it's not quite the spicy frankincense style often seen in Amouage's fragrances, nor the generic western type. I love this scent but it's very simplistic to my nose. All I can smell is Hydrocarboresine which is a labdanum derived substance(stronger,smokier,church like). Now if you take the price per gram of hydrocarboresin and this......the difference is not justifiable, for me at least. However , as I said the smell is lovely pure incense.

Smokey, camphoric, mossey, woody, quite enjoyable! But I keep smelling an aromachemical that I cannot pinpoint; it smells dominating and quite simply, unnaturally smokey. Stellar performance but on the drydown, it kind of becomes a dill-like scent which lingers for hours on end. As a daily incense user, I like wearing this scent.

Second best in line after Saffron Hamra. If you like scent profiles like Andy Tauer Marocain or African Leather, you will thoroughly enjoy it!! Omg I change my statement. it smells like whispered Myths by imaginary authors and reminds me of funerals!!

I visited today (14-Sep-25) Amouage Boutique at Dubai Mall, and the sales executive informed me that this attar along with the Orris, Santal and Saffron were discounted.

This is very potent and a small drop goes along way. The scent is dominated by cedar and oh golly is it gorgeous. Its the most realistic woody scent in my collection.
