Jubilation XXV Man

This stuff is mana from the heavens, even in 2021. Since this fragrance has been at the center of a ton of recent longevity and projection complaints, this review will focus only on those issues since enough has been said about how beautiful this stuff smells. The longevity and projection complaints are overblown. My theory is that most complaints about longevity and projection for any fragrance -- and you will find them for EVERY fragrance -- come from folks who do not spend time around other people, especially strangers or unfamiliar acquaintances. That is, a ton of these complaints are based on assessments of constant wrist-sniffing alone. That is not how you test the projection or sillage of a fragrance. That is mostly how you make yourself noseblind very quickly, especially with certain aromachemical molecules. Of course, this may just be how folks wear their fragrances in the COVID era -- alone at home. And those folks have every right to don nuclear powerhouses. But if you spend most of your time in the presence of other people in a variety of social settings, you come to understand that having your fragrance "noticed" and receiving "comments" is not necessarily a good thing. Spending time in social settings also tests the true longevity of a fragrance, as the fragrance mostly "wafts" up to you and you hopefully aren't huffing your wrist in public, and what may seem like a "skin scent" from 2 inches away could still be reaching your nose and the noses of others for hours at a distance. With that preamble out the way, the latest formulation of Jubilation XXV has no issues with longevity or projection worthy of note. It keeps going on my skin for 6-8 hours, and sits on my clothes all day. When I spray my pillow before bed, I go noseblind seconds after lying down. Nonetheless, my pillow still projects Jubilation XXV into my room the next day. That is not a fragrance with longevity or projection issues. I haven't smelled the vintage batches of Jubilation XXV which, lore has it, were loaded with naturals and supposedly projected heavy and lasted forever. I'll say this, though: naturals actually WEAKEN longevity! Look it up, synthetic aromachemicals are how nuclear frags are made, and naturals are DIFFICULT MATERIALS to work with in terms of longevity. Does anyone think that Montale and Mancera get their ridiculous performance from their use of naturals? Come on now. So with all due respect to David Ball in that youtube video, that guy knows nothing about formulations after he left Oman. His entire story of the supposed decline of Amouage was based around his incorrect assumption that naturals project better ... when in fact the use of synthetics should have improved longevity. He had nothing to do with the manufacturing process. He was a lawyer, not a perfumer, and not a person who grew up in that culture. And he showed up on that youtube to hawk his book and I guess to attack IFRA (and Amouage's whole line). There are people in Oman who know the truth, but David Ball really is not one of them. Although his statements about how Amouage used to source their natural materials are interesting, his statements about the PERFORMANCE of reformulations are worthless. And note that he dates the decline of Amouage to the moment the fragrances went beyond domestic distribution, when international trade regulations came into play. That would mean that even the "vintage" bottles, when released on the international market, lacked the ingredients he discussed. All of this is to say that even though I aint smelled the supposedly "vintage" Jubilation XXV of legend, neither have most people outside Oman. In conclusion, Jubilation XXV is still mana from heaven which still only requires a single application for a good day or evening out. If the performance complainers could please stop making themselves noseblind by huffing their wrists, and would just chill and enjoy the smell from more than 12 inches away, I swear they would not be in here complaining.

What else is there to say about this, it’s a masterpiece! I have not tried the reformulated version, post 2016ish. My bottle I bought in 2016, magnetic cap, no writing of jubilation anywhere on the bottle, besides the name on the collar. That would put mine as one of the first magnetic cap editions, made in UK, which used to matter to “aficionados”. It’s literally majesty in a bottle, it does smell regal, sophisticated, like a Sultan... I don’t care if most of the composition is Iso E Super. It smells like a Disney fantasy whimsical version of traveling to a Middle Eastern Bazaar, and getting engulfed in all of the lovely good spice/woody scents. It opens with that splash of blackberry, oh so juicy, it moves into the spices immediately, I smell the davana, there’s an ever so slight greenness, ever so slight. You get such a lovely incense mixed with resins, you smell sweet myrrh, and it always takes me to a fantasy world. The fragrance as it goes on becomes woodier and woodier as it goes to the dry down, and as it becomes a skin scent. If you’re into perfumery, you owe yourself to smell this!!!!! It’s not going to make you smell clean though. If that’s what you’re into in fragrance, look elsewhere. I have no problems with longevity. It will last 12 hours with great sillage. It projects the first 4-6 moderately, after that it becomes a very personal scent... but you’ll have a trail the entire time. Jubilation was never meant to be beast mode. Bertrand usually always has his creations be subtle, almost understated, contemplative and meditative scents. I own Jubilation 40, and enjoy it!! Now does it do anything better than 25... not even close. 40 is a good scent, but 25 is a masterpiece. 40 opens more camphorus, way more green, and is sweeter throughout the entire duration. It’s blended differently, most likely the higher oil concentration, it’s harder to pick out specific notes as it goes on. I enjoy every moment of Jubilation 25 more, now this is to my 2015-2016 bottle. I’ve heard bad stuff of the newer stuff. Get a sample and see what you think, you owe it to yourself, try the 40 version, you may like it more. Rating: Masterpiece, 10/10, 5/5, Two thumbs up.

first of all this is very classy and elegant scent, i have sample from 2016/17 batch and 2024 batch. 2024 batches lasted arround 7-8 hours on my skin, projection are good in first 3-4 hours (in the office) which is no difference at all whether in performance or the scent body itself from the older formulation in my sample, fyi i live in tropical climate and this performs pretty well, i tested both in the office where temperature are conditioned and under the heat of the sun where temperature reach almost 40°C. The result? in the office the projection are not that loud but under the heat the longevity will be sacrificed for the sake of projection and sillage. I even tested it before i go to sleep and the longevity reaching almost 10 hrs (sprayed on my wrist at arround 11 p.m and my nose still picking the scent at arround 8 a.m. the verdict is : stop debating unecessary topics like ‘newer batch sucks in the scent and performance’ i agree some fragrance got reformulated and coincidentally or intentionally the performance/scent body is affected, but this is not that one. again, i tried to explain different people has different nose sensitivity, live in different area where skin chemistries, temperature, climate, humidity and activity DEFINITELY AFFECTS how fragrance will perform. As a matter of scent, different batch don’t have the same time to age so maybe there’s slight difference in the promInent/most noticeable note, but let’s imagine this, 10 years from now if jubi xxv still produced, people on 2034 will said ‘2034 batch sucks the 2024 batch are far better and beast mode’ so on and so on, that is like head chasing tail game in a never ending cycle right? so please just enjoy your fragrance for what it is, and also you can’t say older batch are better if u don’t have sample or bottle of older juice and compare it side by side with the newer batch, your memory will likely betray you, and of course first sniff will always be a great experience, but after a bottle or even few bottles more it just normal when the ‘wow’ factor are not there anymore because your nose already anticipating how a fragrance will smell. I got some Amouage samples from a friend, some new to me and some familiar, but these must be a different formulation than the ones I remember trying before. They’re more like oil-based perfumes — slow to develop, very close to the skin, and more “muted” and “blended” than the highly legible perfumes I remember. Instead of a sequence of distinct notes, I’m getting more of a unified “personal aura”. The overall effect is subtler and more understated than I remember from last time. Maybe it’s a reformulation? I remember Jubilation XXV as a regal, dramatic kaleidoscope of scents, with rich fruit contrasting against Duchaufour’s signature dry, almost harsh frankincense and smoky woods. This time around, it’s a mellow, golden, jammy amber aura (not specifically blackberry-ish but definitely with a sweet dried or preserved fruit aspect). It’s cozy and welcoming, almost to a fault, but never syrupy. And then, slowly, in the background, I get a gradually rising crescendo of dark smoky fragrant woods, both oudh and guaiac. The smoke is pitch-black and dry, but this time around its starkness is softened and mellowed by the amber. I don’t get the spices, myrrh, or frankincense I remember being prominent last time around; this time, it’s all about a soft hum of amber, dried fruit, and dark smoky woods. Jubilation XXV is a “kingly” scent in my mind: along with Ambre Sultan, L’Air du Desert Marocain, and other grand oriental masculines that fuse the spirit and amber-spice-woods palette of Arabian perfume with the classical technique of French perfumery. Among that company, Jubilation XXV is among the friendliest; a warm and generous monarch. (The King of Pentacles, perhaps.) On a more concrete level, Jubilation XXV is a perfectly balanced amber-oud perfume, almost an exact 50-50 split between warm gold and charcoal black. It doesn’t have the polarizing (barnyard-y or band-aid-y) off-notes real oud can sometimes have, but nor is it a perfunctory synthetic nod to smokiness. This is a smooth, rich, full-bodied, and (to me) genuine-smelling classic oud; you’ll get tons of nuanced smoky-woody flavor.

Since my birthday is just around the corner, I decided to treat myself to a second Amouage bottle. After extensive research and fruitless attempts to find a sample in stores, I took the plunge and blind bought Amouage Jubilation XXV. Yes, I know blind buying can be risky, but when it pays off, it feels like hitting the lottery! If I had to describe this fragrance in one word, it would be "ROYALTY." Jubilation XXV is rightfully considered a masterpiece in the niche fragrance world, celebrated for its rich, complex, and regal character. It opens with a vibrant, aromatic blend of blackberry, coriander, and orange, enhanced by hints of labdanum and frankincense. This introduction feels both fruity and slightly resinous, setting a luxurious tone right away. The blackberry note leans more on the sour side, avoiding an overly jammy profile. As the fragrance evolves, the heart reveals a sophisticated medley of spices and florals, including cinnamon, bay leaf, and honey. The orchid and rose add a layer of complexity, contributing a subtle sweetness that harmonizes beautifully with the warm, comforting spices. The dry-down is where Jubilation XXV truly shines. It unveils an opulent base of oud, patchouli, amber, and myrrh. The myrrh offers a smooth, balsamic quality, while the oud and patchouli bring depth and a touch of earthiness. It genuinely gives off the aura of an Arab Sheikh, exuding an air of grandeur and refinement. Jubilation XXV is a statement fragrance, perfect for formal occasions and cooler weather. It could work in the summer too, but you’d need to go light on the sprays. It boasts exceptional projection and longevity, surrounding you in a sophisticated aura that lasts around 8 hours. The seamless blend of fruity, spicy, and resinous notes makes it both timeless and versatile—a scent that commands respect and admiration. Ideal for someone who cherishes classic, old-world charm with a modern twist, Jubilation XXV offers an unforgettable olfactory experience that tells a story with every wear.

This is my first Amouage fragrance and, compared to my others, it lasts forever on my skin. I wear this as a woman with a body chemistry that tends to soften all fragrances into a soft baby powder scent, given enough time. This one, however, stays pleasantly dark and smokey on my skin. My absolute favorite way to wear this so far is to layer it with a Tokyomilk lotion to amplify the honey scent, then layer it with a gourmand perfume oil. While wearing this in a small space working on something, I will suddenly be enveloped by an entrancing incense scent and momentarily speculate as to the origins of this marvellous wonder of an aroma, only to realize it is myself. So to anyone who finds this one a bit too strong or loud, it does layer so very well and creates the most incredible base for other warm spicy orientals, fougères, or gourmands. I thought at first that I had been burned with this one as the opening smells rather generic, but the dry down is where this golden juice shines. Yes, it can be evocative of sacred rituals, but it also can smell like a pleasant little woodfire in the depths of a forest, and plays so well with others. Note that the resinous and incense notes are not the only options for amplifications here. I paired it with a plum and white tea scented oil one day and the leather scent about knocked me to the ground. I did not find that particular pairing very pleasant, but it could be exactly what someone else might want. I will say that the high price seems unjustified. Overall, 9/10. If the opening were better, the leather note not as oppressive at times, and the price was more reasonable, I would give full marks and my highest recommendation. As it stands, it is still a prized jewel in my fragrance wardrobe.

Jubilation XXV by Bertrand Duchaufour is nothing short of an opulent masterpiece—a true standout in the fragrance world. If you were to ask an AI to define and describe a niche fragrance, this would serve as a perfect example. It took me a few wears to fully grasp what this perfume reveals to its wearer. The opening greets you with a dry, berry-like, medicinal, and menthol burst, which gradually settles into what I can only describe as a non-sweet, herbaceous pipe and spice tobacco vibe. While I barely pick up the florals or orange listed in the notes, the scent evolves with time and circumstances, unveiling a mysterious and highly complex character. Simply put, this is a work of art, and I’m completely smitten with Jubilation XXV. A full bottle is definitely on my wishlist once my decant runs dry. I’ve worn this fragrance to work a few times (I’m a golf pro), and while it’s entirely office-safe, it occasionally felt a bit too luxurious for the setting. That’s more about my mood than the scent itself. Jubilation XXV is undeniably magical, with remarkable depth, but let’s be honest—some days at work don’t exactly feel magical! For a daily driver, something like Reflection Man or Meander feels a bit more fitting. In terms of similar scents, the newer Boss Bottled Elixir and Absolu seem to draw inspiration from this type of fragrance. However, they lean much sweeter, are more designer-styled, and come at a significantly lower price point. P.S I have no issue with performance, like some suggested below. It's strong and long lasting, however it sit's a little closer within a few feet and does not put out a huge scent bubble.

The only Amouage fragrance that went straight onto my list the moment I smelled it. I had tried it before, but it never left this kind of impression on me — I guess tastes really do develop and change over time. Of course, the brand mostly focuses on incense-heavy scents, which are quite difficult for me to wear, and Epic was the only one I thought I could actually buy for myself. But when I smelled this, I was literally blown away. Until today, I’ve never described any perfume as “smelling rich,” but this one truly does. The depth, the mastery in the note distribution, and the overall feeling it gives you are incredible. It’s a perfect balance between being a strong scent and a comfortable one. Not too smoky, not too fruity, not too sweet, not too resinous, not too light, not too strong — it’s beautifully balanced. That’s what elevates it to a signature-scent level that you can use in many situations. The comments here about performance confused me a lot. Normally, when I fall in love with a fragrance like this, I buy it immediately — but this time, I’ll first get at least 5 ml to test it on my skin. With only two sprays during my initial test, I experienced moderate projection and a longevity of 6–8 hours on my skin. I normally don’t hesitate to spray generously, but I’ll do a proper full-wear test before making a final decision.

Jubilation XXV could have been called Kephalis Demonstration Formula 1. Woody Cyclohexanone is a synthetic chemical, the only manufacturer that I know of currently making it is the chemical company Givaudan under the brand name Kephalis, it is the most dominant scent in XXV. I would believe it if XXV was originally commissioned by Givaudan as a product demo and the perfumer decided to take it to Amouage instead. Kephalis is like one of those one-note chemicals that can almost be a fragrance in itself (like Iralia from Firmenich), in that it contains the wood, the tobacco, honey, resins, and facets of the “blackberry”, and is still its own unique thing. Jubilation is boosted by musks of various kinds, and patchouli (and obviously Galaxolide + IES). It has guaiac and cedar, and trace spices and resins (coriander, myrrh, olibanum, opoponax abs). The oud is synthetic which is not a bad thing. Yes it is somewhat weak, it can't really get any stronger without changing the scent drastically, it should be enjoyed more for the unique projection than close up which is very pleasant but lacking impact. Also, with the high amount of patchouli in this, it will age well over time.

The opening is built around a rich, lush fruitiness. Sweet, juicy blackberry feels as though it has been freshly pressed and poured straight into the bottle, vivid and immediately attention-grabbing. Spices step in to counterbalance part of the blackberry’s sweetness, preventing the fragrance from drifting into overtly feminine territory, and the composition then moves gradually toward an oriental woody heart and base The heart and drydown are highly complex, with an unmistakably generous use of materials that aligns perfectly with the theme of “celebration.” At the center stands red myrrh with a dense, resinous, almost medicinal character. The cool, camphoraceous facet of frankincense tempers the heaviness of the myrrh, while oud and vetiver lend a grounded, dignified woody depth. The addition of spices such as coriander keeps the composition from becoming oppressive, and patchouli reins in any excess sweetness. Altogether, the fragrance feels expansive, exuberant, and finely balanced, immediately signaling a scent designed for grand occasions Despite its weight, it remains wearable, making it suitable for formal events and celebrations, particularly for younger men

Was scared of bad performance, so I got a 5ml decant to see how it performs, and I must say these comments are deluded. Two sprays on my hand: Hour 0-1: Insane projection, but the dryness is also very strong, which reminds me of dry tobacco, which smells good, but after the first hour, this becomes deeper, and more of the notes appear. Hour 1-3: Still projects decently and can be smelled by everybody around me, including me. The smell becomes deep and less like tobacco, and the fruits and citrus mesh with the woods and incense, which smells like heaven. 3-6: Performance is okay, still leaves a scent trail when moving, but doesn't project like before. Still smells amazing. 6-10: Still can smell it, and it smells softened up, but others probably won't be able to notice it. Still would consider it on my skin. 10-14 hours: You can still smell it; it's still there, but a light skin scent. I don't need to tell anybody how good this scent is (its my top 10), but the performance is also average at the least and definitely isn't something that is lacking on this one my skin. I really love this fragrance. It's smoky, sweet, fruity and woody at the same time. Reminds me of Tom Ford's Ebene Fume but it's like a lighter version with the fruits and honey. Gentlemen younger than 30 might not enjoy it but still worth to sample and see for yourself. Sadly, the performance on my skin is a joke...lasts maybe two hours with no projection from the start. Might be something with the sample that I got, maybe it was watered down but looking at other reviews I fear it's just the way it is nowadays. The cheapest bottle I can find from a reliable store is 200eur. With such poor performance, I cannot justify buying it at this price even to myself :( EDIT: I know I said it's not worth it with such a poor performance but I did get a 100ml bottle. This stuff smells amazing, even if it's just for a short while. I will probably save it for special occasions and look for a decent clone that I can use everyday instead. Considering the poor projection and the fact that it's a bit sweet and fruity, I'm going to use it even during the summer, mainly evenings and some cooler days.

Really enjoy Jubilation XXV by Amouage. I find it surprisingly wearable for the depth & complexity level. For me it is year round and any occasion or no occasion, just casual. At first I liked it okay but as I learned to sense more of the notes it opened to show its greatness. Moderate projection, good duration - very pleasant to experience as your day rolls along. The cohesive subtlety of the blend is joy. Some reviewers seem to fail to penetrate this beauty, staying as outsiders and missing the show. It seemed too faint or mild until I connected with its levels and realized it can be controlled more easily than many Eau De Parums. If you want more power, projection and then greater ambiance in dry down - just apply a thicker coat. Some EDPs are too heavy to do this but J25 has a light agile quality that makes it flexible to your application tastes. The originality is special. It is fun experiencing smellers try to figure what it may be...

Starting the day at 9... Interested straight away... Blackberry Jam warms you and draws you in... This feels rich and regel almost immediately... Not the kind of king that "lets them eat cake" but a warm friendly King with a fondness for jam... 10:30 and you know you are going to be looking for a bottle of this somewhere... 11:15 Lovely quality niche warm soft version of Costume National Homme that doesn't go cloying... Very good... 14:15 Reminding me more of the Costume National as it goes on but its like a niche version... Its not straight sandalwood... Feels complex... A beautiful blend of components that gives of the smooth sandalwood feel but you can pick out individual elements if you search... 16.50 What a fragrance... The Blackberry and Honey throughout the day is amazing... This is some scent... Starts to mellow into the background and becomes less noticeable for the evening... Very Nice...

From a large collection this is the only one where I've a back up bottle. I've taken time to post as its hard to find the words, and others describe the notes and experience so well. However.... This perfume is for grown ups. It's complex. Somehow warm and fresh at the same time. Slightly sweet, slightly smoky. Its not carnal at all, but its like hugging a lover closely and feeling the heat and contours of their body. It's knowing you're loved and everything's alright in the world. It's a sunset after the most perfect summer day. It's like Sinatra's Summer Wind. Enough gushing nonsense, I'm lucky to have some stunning fragrances but this is right up there with the best. 5/5 PS I thought performance was excellent. I've bottles with different presentation. One smaller, and one larger box. Both magnetic cap. Both made in Oman. Identical smell and performance. I dont get those who say this is weak.

I wore Jub XXV out to dinner tonight. A little context. It's about 50 out and I sprayed both wrists and back of the neck before leaving and then walked to the restaurant, probably a half mile. At the dinner table the frag was just HONKING. Such a deep fabulous and regal fragrance. It's now 4 hours later and it's still very much a part of the equation. I have a new bottle, post "formulation" and it's very strong, though the silage is probably 2 feet give or take. In fact, I would not want this perfume any stronger or it would just dominate. This juice radiates off my skin, especially when clean/fresh showered. So for me, at 4 hours it's still incredibly persistent, so, I would not be concerned about performance bc I wear it...quite a bit. I just don't see it.

Anyone having witnessed the reprehensible opening to the Olympics is certainly aware of how the Communists have embedded themselves in practically everything involved in our daily lives. Hence in this case regulating out the ingredients which make parfum a value to the consumer. XXV and many other fine scents are directly affected by this and you must fork over $500 USD presuming you don't have a valid discount code, in order to obtain an acquisition noticeable to others for more than an hour which contains a high concentration of very costly parfum oil. Nevertheless I will say that when purchased through a discounter and applied like a fire hose the king in you will most definitely be appreciated thru an incredible aromatic trail of Amouage Jubilation XXV.

There's not much to say about this fragrance because words cannot materialize what this scent means to the olfactory system to human mind connection. Jubilation XXV is not a fragrance. It is not oil molecules suspended in alcohol and water. It is a code: 1's and 0's that fire your brain's synapses in such a way that it hacks into your sense of what it means to exist on this planet as a human being. I mean that sincerely. The way this stuff makes me feel when wearing it is nearly indescribable. I will never talk about notes with Jubilation. I will only talk about how this makes me feel. This is the gift of kings because when you wear it, you feel like royalty. It is truly jubilation in a bottle. THE. GREATEST. FRAGRANCE. OF. ALL. TIME.

Have had this a few months now and worn it probably 5 or 6 times. Prompted me to review after i also just obtained its newer flanker Jubilation 40. This is a luxury high end champagne with blackberrys to me, very regal, elegant and uplifting. Not as animalic or as jaw droppingly beautiful as Jubiltion 40 but it does come close with its opening and first hour or 2. XXV starts the journey and is a bit more fresh and gives me a fantastic 4-5 hour wear experience. Jub 40 is just a bit more interesting, mysterious and powerful to my nose, slightly more oudy too which i love. This was my holy grail until Jub 40 came along. Jubilation XXV is still a 10/10 fragrance, its just Jubilation 40 is 1000/10.

They make stupid comments about urine smells—if your urine smells like that, spray your partner or the front of your house in your ghetto neighborhood; trust me, your life will get better. Anyway, let’s move past that nonsense and get to the fragrance. This perfume is very mass-appealing—Americans, Turks, Africans, and Chinese people alike would all like it. It’s a herbal, fruity, floral, and spicy scent where everything is nicely balanced. However, the longevity and projection are a bit weak, and it has a somewhat dry feel—a dry kind of scent. It’s the kind of perfume you can always wear without bothering anyone, and when you can’t decide what to wear, this is the perfect go-to fragrance.

As so many others have already said it is masterful blend of fruit and spice with the dark sweet frankincense and myrrh church incense. Love the blackberry and herbs. Complex and regal. I enjoy its opulence and wish I could smell it for longer. On my skin it disappeared within a few hours, a little longer on clothes. Seems pretty batch dependent with some saying performance is fine, but almost no one could smell this on me after going very liberal on the sprays (even when smelling right where it was sprayed). When sampled next to other Amouage fragrances it was completely drowned out by the others. And despite this I still want a full bottle of this or maybe the 40.

for those seeing all those ppl saying the performance is trash, do not listen to them. they probably based that after day 1 wear. i bought this fragrance earlier this year and have had it for months and it does perform well. a few months back, i went to this event in nola and let one of my friends wear some of this (i had put some of it in a little travel vial) and i kept smelling it on him throughout the day and i didn’t have to lean in to look for the scent. let it age a little and you’ll be fine. i can’t speak on earlier batches... maybe they were better, i don’t doubt it, but this fragrance is not as thin as a lot are making it out to be.

Often I try to criticise the smell of expensive fragrances but sometimes I have to admit I lost. Jubilation XXV is just majestic. The best Amouage and one oft the best fragrances in general ever created. I really get very authentic blackberry honey and agarwood (oud) notes. It is just a very mature, understated but yet so majestic scent that really embodies the art of fragrance making. This fragrance would surely be in my top 3 if there wasn’t longevity... It just doesn’t perform that great. But this is a fragrance where I tell myself: This scent is fckin*g great, the longevity simply does not matter!

Took 2 days of testing for me to fall in love with this. My wife also. I can def detect the blackberry which we eat a lot here home. I am also a huge fan of Honey. I eat it everyday. So def a good start right there on the scent notes. As for the remaining notes they all mix well together. The scent is pleasent through out all the phases and last throughout the day. Probably one of the best Amouages. Altrhough I've only tested approx 60% of those. This will be an early spring/autumn/winter scent to me where Beach hut serves as the cooler scent for summer periods. The two best Amouages imo!

I love a stellar blackberry note and here you have it. Jubilation XXV radiates opulence, opening in a rush of ripe, honeyed blackberry compote wrapped in luminous spice that immediately draws you in. As it settles, the heart reveals a honeyed richness woven with resins, creating a deep, almost golden warmth. The base is where it becomes truly regal—aromatic woods, sunlit amber, and a soft veil of musk that lingers for hours. Refined, complex, and effortlessly commanding. It smells so good to me and lasts long enough, and that alone makes it worth the price. I know I spoke generically, but that is because everyone needs to have their own experience with fragrance. The honeyed blackberry and frankincense backbone of the opening and the honeyed hay and spices in the mid are intoxicating and I love it. The wonderfully blended resins carry the scent through the hours afterwards. I wear this at the office, on dates, dining, special events, and just hanging outside with my friends. It never gets cloying nor overpowering even in summertime. 10/10

Dense, Rich, Sweet... and Pissy? I have absolutely no idea how to explain this in the nicest way possible, but this has a dehydrated urine accord, perhaps due to the honey-blackberry accords, eagerly speaking, this fragrance is exponential, sweet, and dense with the base resinous materials. smelling each layer - olfactorating in the back of your nose. You can smell every single ingredient, it smells very high quality. Easy to wear on all occasions. This can smell like a worshipping place, with the Oud being that backbone of this fragrance. Absolutely fantastic. 9.75/10

Masterpiece. Euphoria in a bottle. The resins mixed with the berries is divine. The progression is out of this world. The Oud note is just so well done. I dare any fan of this genre not to sniff there wrists every 5 minutes or less. This is what expensive perfume should smell like. If you have to shell out the cash, it better be ultra high quality, different, and magical. In hindsight, this is why something somewhat boring and safe like Aventus is a rip off at its price point (oops, there go all my pretty review balloons). Love this so much, top 5 I've ever smelled.

I have sampled over a dozed Amouage and this is my favorite. Its a nice break from the heavy incense based examples such as the Interlude trio and Decision. This too, has that beautiful, complex incense that I love in Amouage, but its accompanied by the sweetness of amber and the fruits. IMHO, this can be worn in any season aside from the beach on a sunny day. I got decent performance out of my 2ml frag which Ill assume is from a newer batch. I would love to try the vintage formulation! Ill grab a bottle of this for sure once I see one for less than $160. 9/10

It's a really great one. Currently, it has surpassed the likes of "enclave" and "Memoirs" to become my favorite. The ebony and plum notes are fantastic, far superior to those in "Meydan" and "Majalis". The quality is obviously better, with the ebony and plum being very well balanced. The woody scent is not at all pungent, and the frankincense base is the most outstanding part, making the overall scent very harmonious and smooth. Unfortunately, the longevity and projection are not as good as those of other Amouage fragrances. (i use the translation:(

This really did live up to the hype for me, It's an incredibly elegant, masuline woody scent. The sweetness that the blackberry adds is just perfect, this is now one of my favorites of all time. Top 2 I think. So complex yet so smooth and rounded and perfectly blended. The performance could definitely be better but in my experience, people are exaggerating its poor performance. I got a good 7 hours with it with decent projection. I personally think this is suitable for all seasons, most probably wouldn't agree. Absolute 10/10 as far as scent goes.

Love that everyone's experience with a scent like this can be so varied. This immediately turns very playful on my skin. And while I think wearing it on a hot day would lead to the untimely and unfortunate demise of every old person I pass on the street, the faint myrrh incense behind the hay-like honeyed flowers and blackberry leaves makes this a beautiful springtime scent to my nose. Amazingly smooth blend, where every second of semi-agressive sniffing, a new layer filled with scents I can't even begin to describe reveals itself to me.

Pure luxury. This is what Middle Eastern fragrances are all about, because of Tiktok dupes I fear many people just assume many Arabian fragrances are just clones but if only they knew the full story. This is a spicy, amber, honey bomb with oud. The ingredients are high quality and the blend smells thick and resinous in the air. This is what an Arabian prince would wear. Amouage has some fragrances I don't like for example the interlude line but this is something special. Scent: 9.5/10 Performance: 8/10 Price: 7/10 Overall: 8.1/10

this is so good. very resinous and spicy. doesn't last too long and has an even smaller sillage, but that is okay. it sensual, calming, inviting. one of the best dry downs i have ever smelled. the fresh spray might be a bit of a bomb, kind of like that image that says "name one thing in this image". you can't name any specific note but it all makes a crazy combination haha. but the dry down is simply sublime. a perfect balance between sweet and fougere. can be worn on warmer days in my opinion, but just spray less.

A very serious scent. Photorealistic smoke, woods and berries. You've been standing next to a blackberry bush that is on fire and the resulting smoke has settled on your skin. Undoubtedly a smooth, high quality scent that is quite the experience, but you'll have to really like smoke. The oil quality is top notch, as you'd expect from Amouage. 9.5/10 Note: Newer batches are the worst reformulation that has ever taken place IMHO, which transformed this into blackberry water. My review is for the older batches.

The first time I tried this, it was from a small 2 mL decant from the OG version--top 10 scent ever IMO. The blackberry, the incense, holy shit I fell in love with it. I went on a date that night and she was taken aback by how amazing the smell was, which surprised me to see such a reaction from her. Ordered a FB that same night and eventually went on to get disappointed by the magnetic-cap version. Amouage completely gutted this fragrance with their many subsequent watered-down versions. So frickin' sad.

Jubilation XXV Men An extraordinary composition in a versatile fragrance — that’s how I would describe this perfume. I think most people will like it, though there are some elements that are more of an acquired taste — it really needs to be tried personally. I don’t think this perfume has a trail (sillage) in the usual sense. Rather, it has an aura — quite perceptible. It’s very long-lasting. And I agree with those who say it requires a certain type of weather — that’s absolutely true.

Masterpiece of a fragrance - I could wear this any day. That sweet, yet resinous, opening with the juicy black currant is to die for - and it manages to get even better in the dry down! I tried a newer bottle at a perfume store nearby, and unfortunately the 3 sprays on my wrist did not last long before becoming a skin scent - I'd say it projected for 1 hour tops. Again, masterpiece but I wish it would last longer - I would opt for an older bottle that had time to macerate.

AT first I didn't like it but then After using it a few times i knew how good it was. the older batches are better then the new ones i believe. it gives me that citrus burst with freshness along with fruity undertone. My skin is dry so it takes a very good fragrance to last on my skin but this lasted for a few hours.Amouage Jubilation XXv,Imitation and Epic Man Are few year round fragrances you can wear any time.i have older batches of these and are really good.

To me this is Amouage, if I could I would name it Amouage. This is the rocket launch that introduced Amouage as a prominent house. It's all you need from a warm spicy fragrance with depth and character that compromises for nothing. Something outstanding and worthy of adoration. The controlled sweetness of this is the evidence of the high quality it offers. I'd say this is the most blind buy safe Amouage that is truly Amouage not like Outlands or Lustre.

I own 2016 batch (magnetic) When it was fresh, I used to spray a lot to get the full fruity-smoky experience, 3 years later & 1/3 of the bottle has gone, it turned less fruity, but more resinous & ...... harsher! Now, 2024 & almost 1/3 is remaining, the thick juice has ruined the atomizer, and I can’t have a decent spray anymore. However, I managed to get some messy squirts and the smell resembled the vintage version (elegant, balanced & mysterious)

Amouage Jubilation XXV smells rich, warm, with that mix of honey, incense, and dark fruits. This is a grown folks scent. Picture a man who is confident, and effortlessly regal without trying too hard. This is the kind of scent that makes people wonder what powerful moves you’re making today. Definitely Big Boss vibes. Living in the US this makes me standout for sure. Don’t blind buy. I paid $175 USD for a 100 ml tester bottle on ScentsAngel.

SAD STORY - I loved this fragrance so much, but they reformulated it. I heard they reformulated it but I just had to know for sure... I just got a new bottle a week ago which is probably 30% as strong as it used to be. Longevity is somewhat still there, but projection is gone and tapers off quickly. Becomes a skin scent on me after 1-2hr when the previous formulation would project for around 6hr. So sad.

The initial spray gives a sweet and jammy blackberry smell and gradually shift to a more spice heavy smell with cloves and cinnamon being the highlight. The dry down is beautiful on this fragrance as it gives off sort of a smoky and incense scent as if wood or a bush are set on fire. The smell lasted for around 4-6 hour on my skin and become a nice ambergris musk as a skin scent later 10/10 for me

Another wonderful olfactory experience from Amouage. The smell is fresh and sweet, but also remaining complex. Really one of a kind scent, a sweet dream about traveling the world would smel like that. I personally find it rather feminine, but I can also imagine a man rocking this. Might not be for everybody, but the uniqueness and quality is undebatable.

Sometimes a fragrance needs just the right weather conditions to smell good. This is one of those scents. I take back everything bad I said about this. It is a beautiful scent with a good performance, but only in spring and autumn and on humid days. On hot days it smells almost of pure honey and evaporates quick, and on winter days it has 0 projection.

The original formulation of Jubilation Man, with the non-magnetic cap (pre-2014). Is a wonderful spiced oriental fragrance. It carries 10 hours of longevity with moderate projection. Really love the way it smells. Without getting too technical and splitting notes, what I get are wisps of slightly sweet, spicy smoke one I associate with luxury. l wish it projected or leaped out at least in the initial hours but nope it's quite restrained on me. So much so, now I am wondering if I have a legit bottle. Should be but ..

Dry spicy woody and smoky with hints of sweetness. Tons of notes you but those are the main accords I get also with a herbal touch. Mass appealing .. NO.. Beast mode.. No.. Yes to it being a complicated and sophisticated mature fragrance that came out almost 2 decades ago and is still highly regarded. FWIW nobody will smell like you.

I don't know what beast this was before reformulations. I can tell you that my new bottle lasts forever. I put it on 10:00 pm, went to bed, 8 hours later I took a shower, and I do scrub hard, and I can still smell it now 12 hours later on my skin. I love this stuff, this is one of, if not, the most posh fragrances out there.
