Reflection 45 Man

Today I'm reviewing Reflection 45, Reflection Man's big brother. Reflection Man is one of my favorite scents; and I'm not really sure why. I'm not a big fan of floral scents for men, and Reflection is definitely floral forward. However, somehow it manages to just work. Between the powder, floral, and woody notes, Reflection Man is a modern masterpiece that gets me compliments every time I wear it. With that said, I'm very excited to see what the higher concentration of Reflection 45 has to offer. Let's get into it; Scent: The opening is powdery, aromatic, and floral. The primary notes I get are iris, lavender, olibanum, and neroli. The strongest of the notes are the iris and lavender. The iris leads the charge in the opening with a big blast of powdery and slightly earthy florals. It’s similar to the orris note from Reflection, but not quite as earthy. Right behind the iris is the lavender with a big dose of aromatics. This lavender note does have that spicy "licorice" vibe to it, but it's subtle. Up next is the neroli and olibanum. The neroli gives the opening the distinct white floral accord that Reflection is known for, nuanced with a hint of honeyed sweetness. Lastly, the olibanum adds a balsamic and slightly woody touch to the background with a rich, sweet, and warm resinous quality. I also get the jasmine in the opening with it's distinctly sweet white florals, as well as some woodiness and vanillic sweetness from the benzoin. The dry down is woody, powdery, and balsamic. The primary notes I get are iris, lavender, sandalwood, and benzoin. The strongest of the notes are the iris and sandalwood. The iris is still very prominent with the same soft and powdery accord. Meanwhile, the sandalwood has emerged in the dry down to provide a punchy dose of creamy and powdered woodiness. This is followed by the lavender and benzoin. The lavender still has the gently spicy and aromatic accord from the opening, just dialed back a bit. Lastly, the benzoin has ramped up in the dry down to provide more of the rich balsamic and vanillic sweetness. Performance: Initial projection within the first hour is very strong and can easily fill a room. Sillage matches that intensity with a dense scent trail. After about 4 hours the performance was largely unchanged. Around the 7-8 hour mark the projection was about 5-6 feet and the scent trail was still easily noticeable. The fragrance lasted about 12 hours before becoming a skin scent. When to wear: Reflection 45 is a versatile fragrance that can be worn for any season, any time of day, and for any occasion. Dress it up and wear it formally, dress it down and wear it casually, or even wear it to the office. You'll be smelling appropriately great regardless. Blind buy: If you like the original Reflection, or fragrances like Gucci Guilty Elixir (because let's be honest, they're almost clones of each other), Reflection 45 is a safe blind buy for you. Final verdict: With Reflection Man being one of my favorite fragrances ever, Reflection 45 was lined up to be at least that good. But to be honest, it fell short of the expectations I had for it. Reflection 45 opens up very similar to Reflection, but in the dry down becomes a much more balsamic and ambery creation. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but the opening is what I really love about Reflection. When it comes to performance, my expectation was for Reflection 45 to far surpass Reflection. In reality, they're about equal; both being very strong in the first few hours and lasting about 12 altogether. In terms of versatility it's the same as Reflection; they're both very versatile fragrances that can be worn anytime, anywhere. Similarly with mass-appeal; they're both about average. Most people will think they smell great, but some men may think the floral aspects are too feminine. I don't personally, but I can understand why someone else would. In conclusion, I think Reflection 45 is a masterfully crafted fragrance that adds a rich dry down to an already exquisite fragrance, but I don't think it's worth the $520 price tag. That's simply an outrageous price, and with Reflection being over $100 cheaper at $380 and having a very similar scent profile with nearly identical performance it's just not worth it. Particularly to me, since I already own Reflection. I'm glad to have experienced both, but I'll stick to my bottle of Reflection. Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 9/10 Sillage: 9/10

In these uncertain and difficult times characterised by division, mendacity, greed, manipulation and hatred, it is easy to forget sometimes that perfumery has the ability to save your soul. It can heal, inspire, enrapture and capture if you let it. Very few have the power to truly transcend the boundary between fragrance and art and of the hundreds of bottles I own, there are perhaps four or five with that power. Reflection 45 is one of a very, very exalted few. Now, at this point in my review I'd spend some time talking about the notes and how they work together but with R45 this seems a bit redundant. It is a bit like studying a painting by talking about the colours the artist has used, which is to miss the point of what makes the piece great in the first place. R45 is an unusually complex, multifaceted thing brimming and bubbling with iris, florals, spices, clary sage, woods, resins, textures and apparently, wishes and magic spells. There are sparkles, flashes, shimmers, colours, drama and emotions, sweetness, richness, freshness, aromatics and bitterness as well. Honestly I do not profess to know enough about perfumery to say with any surety why it all works, or how. It is hard to describe: it seems impossibly rich and fine but never decadent or pretentious. Luxuriant but versatile, precious but wearable, individual but evocative. It evokes in me a calm assurance that I am capable of great things. Most of all, it stirs in me a very alien emotion: love. Of myself. I've not liked or had much time for myself for my entire life and sometimes I view my own sense of self with such a baleful derision that it is hard to function. I've been depressed most of my adult life to varying degrees and it has threatened my very existence a couple of times. My fragrance journey has been healing in many ways and I've got so much out of throwing all of myself into something worthy and rewarding. I have become a better person for starting to understand fragrance properly, and in that I've learned to love myself a little more; to be a little kinder and more forgiving of myself. There are fragrances that have the power to make me feel better about myself, to forget just for a little while all the people who have used me, manipulated me and taken from me without permission, thanks or apology. R45 makes me feel like everything is going to be okay and that I should try to give myself an easier time, because life is better than I often think it is. If you're like me, you get caught down those never-ending dark rabbit holes that stop you from seeing the wonder and beauty in the world and thus also in myself, and R45 is like opening a door somewhere and letting in the light and fresh air. Great perfumery isn't about the fragrance, it is about the person smelling it. Three Word Summary: Wonderful Is Life Layering Suggestion: why on earth would you want to layer this? Outfit Suggestion: the good navy blue suit and smart shoes, white shirt and Hermes tie, walking out of a meeting knowing you've just done something truly remarkable. Contrary to the note list Reflection 45% opens with a Waxy Orris note followed by a subtle introduction of spices & a note of Jasmine that smells matured, displaying both its White/Floral & Dark/Tobacco nuances without exposing any Indoles. This opening slowly develops over a span of 20 minutes. Within that time the Spice notes intensify, but they never become overwhelming. Notes of Neroli & Lavender follow, which then fully showcases that "Reflection Man" DNA we all love. But its different ! Neroli at 45% oil concentration, while still White/Floral, also smells Matured, & Dark with Honeyed Amber-like nuances. Lavender at 45% oil concentration smells like matured Dark Florals & Herbs. Its also cooling & camphoraceous. Like It has Dark, Minty, Menthol, Eucalyptus-like nuances. Reflection 45 maintains this scent profile for what I counted was about 6 hours. After the 6 hour mark, a not overly sweet, but intensely Resinous Amber note takes center stage. But its actually not Amber at all. .... Its the note of Neroli intensifying & displaying its Dark, Resinous, Honeyed, Amber-like nuances. The White Floral combination that creates the "Reflection Man" DNA is still present, It just steps behind the Amber accord, which brings with it Resinous notes of Benzoin, Myrrh, Frankincense, & Opoponax. This stage of the fragrance also lasts about 6 hours. Showcasing its Spice, Resinous, & Woody notes. Reflection 45 is a dark floral, spiced, resinous, musky, heady, take on the original. I have no complaints outside of its price. It performs as it should. At 45% oil concentration its not going to project more than a few inches off of your skin. But where this fragrance shines is in its Sillage. Reflection 45 is a Sillage beast. As you move everyone will smell you. Especially when sprayed on clothes. The wind will literally carry this fragrance 50 ft outdoors. You are the wearer ! Remember that ! At 45% oil concentration you should expect to go nose blind fairly quickly. The people closest to you will also go nose blind. You will not smell this fragrance in the intensity as everyone else outside of your immediate circle. FYI: You'll get the best performance out of this fragrance if you spray both skin & clothing. I go 10 sprays. CLONES: Theres only one clone of Reflection 45, & thats "AKS 45" by Yom & Layl. Which sells for $84.99 AKS 45 is a true 1 to 1 clone of Reflection 45. I know because I own them both. Now, because Yom & Layl makes their fragrances to order, AKS 45 will need a few weeks to Maturate, & Macerate. So please follow their site instructions. ... but when its complete, you will have a 1 to 1 clone of Reflection 45. Enjoy.

At this point i own over 50 fragrances, i have traded a lot, and i have tried probably hundreds of fragrances at this point. Usually i'm always a pro-clone guy. Paying 10 times less for something very close to me is worth it. In my years of collecting and testing there are only two fragrances that stand alone above the rest, and they are the only fragrances where i can't justify getting a clone over them: Dior Homme Intense, and this beauty right here. I proposed last year. I've been thinking about which fragrance to use in the wedding since then. I thought obviously my favorite DHI, but since i use it for every wedding i wanted something different for MY wedding. So i went to the most high end niche store in my country to look for something special. Ended up leaving disappointed many times, i tried tons of fragrances (probably costed the store a pretty penny, i don't think they were happy to see me many times), but could never find the one. Everything to me wasn't worth that much money. I had clones that were similar or achieved the same thing. Then they showed me Reflection and Reflection 45 (they were one of the last ones to show me because i didn't really want to test em, was thinking oh great an overpriced Le Male and a super overpriced Le Male). I tried probably all of Creed, PDM, Amouage, Initio, Kilian, Roja, Ateliers des Ors, Casamorati, Bond N9, etc. But i fell in love. With both of them. However Reflection did actually seem like a niche and more expensive and luxurious Le Male. It was still great, i still loved it, it was different enough from Le Male for me to want it... but not different enough to justify the price difference. But Reflection 45 is a whole another beast. It is in the Reflection/Le Male family, but thats about it. Its denser, less fresh than Reflection, much more luxurious and powdery. I can't really explain the difference in notes because i would be doing it a dis service if i said it only has more benzoin and tonka and had more strength. The differences make it the perfect fragrance, and the only one that can share the throne with DHI, i never thought i'd find another one that made me fall in love so much as DHI did. Because its worth a pretty penny i didn't just pull the trigger. It has almost been a year since i first considered buying it. I bought samples, tested it some more, to be sure, and my opinion hasn't changed. So today i finally pulled the trigger, and i don't regret it. 10/10 and im happy i found the frag im gonna use for my wedding soon.

However, with the "45" version, Amouage has taken this familiar DNA and completely rebuilt it with flawless craftsmanship. I have always had a soft spot for the dense, skin-clinging nature of Extrait de Parfum formulations; and with an incredible 45% perfume oil concentration, Reflection 45 is the perfect embodiment of the "quiet luxury" aesthetic we so often look for. When you first spray it, the bright neroli and lavender from the original greet you once again, but this time through a much richer, more resinous filter. That slightly soapy vibe in the opening quickly settles down, and the introduction of myrrh, orris root, and cedarwood pulls the fragrance into immense depth. It doesn't scream or aggressively project, but when you enter a room, it creates an aristocratic aura that instantly makes everyone feel the high quality of the cashmere sweater you are wearing. An Unbiased Take: The Pros: Thanks to the 45% oil concentration, it is completely free of any synthetic harshness, boasting a structure so rich and smooth that you can easily get lost in its layers. The longevity is simply unbelievable. While its high concentration means the projection sits closer to the skin, it continues to live with you for days on your clothes. It is a fantastic signature scent for a mature man who knows exactly what he wants and has a well-established style. The Cons: If you are looking for a room-filling, "beast mode" projection that gets noticed from meters away, this dignified structure that prefers to stay close to the skin might disappoint you. Additionally, its wearability is quite restricted; it certainly doesn't pair well with shorts or a basic t-shirt. It paints a rather "formal" profile that demands you dress the part. Unfortunately, the hefty price tag makes it accessible mostly to serious collectors. Firstly I just want to be clear and note that I have the aged batch J08291 and I don’t have the standard batch to compare with right now. A true masterpiece and nothing can really compare to this in terms of scent profile. I have probably smelt and worn over 1000 fragrances over the years but nothing smells like this and to my knowledge hasn’t been cloned. Quite safe for a niche scent in my opinion but still has that Amouage resinous, deep and complex DNA. The scent is hard to describe but definitely can smell the lavender, neroli and jasmine up top with a hint of spices and buttery smooth powdery iris. As it dries does the florals slowly fade to a more woody vanilla base still with a bit of spice. This leans probably 70/30 masculine. Now for the comparison with the OG reflection man. The OG is a bit more feminine and more floral. Where the OG is sharp and projecting, the 45 sits closer but still very noticable, smooth and refined. It is a more oppulent and alluring scent in my opinion. 45 is different enough to pass as different fragrance rather than a flanker. I slightly prefer the 45 as it’s more complex and feels more luxurious. I wore both for a few days each and also side by side before pulling the trigger on 45. Suprisingly this actually does well in the heat too, so i would argue it’s just as versatile as the original. Maybe a bit more formal and special occasions. EDIT: After wearing this the past week in both the warmer weather and on a rainy cooler day, and inside, there are some big differences. I understand the fragrance much more after spending so much time with it. After having a shower and wearing in warmer weather it becomes spicy fresh very similar to the discontinued Armani Eau D'Aromes but more smooth. I happen to love that fragrance so very happy to wear it when warmer. The scent stays more vanillic and powdery when colder but I still enjoy this too. I really love the many phases and faces this fragrance presents. It is a bit like a journey and it constantly shows itself for 10+ hours in different forms. This is close to a perfect 10 and I think it is absolutely worth the money.

Comparison of Reflection Man and Reflection 45 Man This can be pretty straightforward. Both Reflection Mans are masculine, luminous white florals but 45 dims the lights to low. They both open nearly the same way with a smooth, only slightly sweet berry type note and some herbs and pepper. However, out of nowhere, 45 throws this dark brown and oily woody note into the air, albeit briefly, that smells a bit saffron-like but the brand says benzoin. Ok, fine - not sure about that but I’ll buy it. The lights get immediately dimmed in 45. They both go to a stunningly beautiful and rich heart of indolic jasmine, metallic neroli, and dense orris. These flowers and orris are heavy, soaked in oils and pollen nectars and butter in the case of the orris. Keeping to the theme, 45 throws a green and earthy tonka bean note in to keep the lights low, like the flowers are below a layer of fresh compost in the dark. In RM the flowers are allowed to have some light cast on them; their pretty white colors allowed to reflect in the sun a bit while they droop with their nectar and oils. They both go to a woody and patchouli base that is rich, earthy, a bit peppery and also creamy, but, curiously, 45 seems to bring the lights up just a smidge by allowing some lightly-woody vetiver and incense into the mix, giving a bit of lift as if its concerned the surroundings are a bit too dark. Perhaps it should. RM will last at least 12 hours and you’ll still smell 45 (faintly) the next day, so maybe we can’t stay in the dark too long. Both are unerringly gorgeous. Rich, supple, beautifully crafted, with every stage revealing something new but logically and aesthetically fitting, and keeping you wanting to go-in for one more big sniff. Choose the regular RM if you’re wanting something lighter (or filled with more light) and a bit simpler - or as far as both of those can get with Amouage. Choose 45 when dark, rich, stateliness is more your mood. Or choose both. I did. You can’t go wrong with either.

@JusttheFactsMan i'm quite surprised by your review and take on amouage in general. One would think smelling and reviewing over 1200 fragrances would result in a generally decent idea of whats a good or bad fragrance, just by experience alone. I can see everything but an experienced nose in your review. i have smelled and owned about 800 fragrances and it was fairly early in my journey that i found out about the quality of amouage. I would highly suggest to step back from your "tour de fragrance" and actually give fragrances the time they deserve as your review suggest that your view of some is heavily diluted by the urge to go on to the next one. If you can't distinguish the difference in quality between Amoauge, who have their own fields of natural flowers and trees for oil extractions, who hand pick their roses in tons to make a liter of rose oil and something like a cheapie knockoff brand called "killer oud" who uses cheap synthetics, then i truly believe you need to step off the gas and take more time with each fragrance and at least stop suggesting people to "not waste their money on Amouage" which is arguably the best niche brand out there when it comes to pure quality and dedication, especially if your argument is to safe money for a car payment, while you buy enough cheapies to pay for a full on car. To correct your terrible review, here is my take: Reflection Man is definitely better price/value and they are both equally beautiful but they have distinct differences and if you want to smell the most beautiful white floral sandalwood for men out there, treat yourself to a bottle of reflection man and if you can and want that extra bit of resinous amouage dna in there, get reflection 45 at a discounter for a good price. Both are great performers with reflection man as a beast mode projector and 45 with a superb longevity.

If Zeus wore a fragrance, this would be it. This fragrance HOWLS masculinity like a wolf on a full moon. It kicks off with a bold wave of Lavender, like a knight in shining armor, only this time, he’s holding Sage and Peppers instead of a sword. And then BOOM Frankincense sneaks in with Myrrh, bringing the whole vibe of a mysterious Middle Eastern bazaar where you’re either buying spices or plotting your next adventure. It’s deep, it’s smoky, it’s like you’re walking through an ancient palace made of sexy. But wait, there’s more. The dry down? Oh. My. God. It’s like someone threw amber, incense, and a smoldering campfire in the air, and then added extra sexy. This fragrance gives off this spicy, body-wash vibe, but not the kind you’d find at your average drugstore. No, this one’s made in space. Possibly by extremely masculine aliens. Now, here’s where it gets insane. I’ve worn this beast to the gym twice, and I’ve never had so many people staring, sniffing the air like they’re on a scavenger hunt for the holy grail of scents. Twice I got asked what it was, and wait for it, I actually made a friend. Yes, I’m telling you, it’s that kind of fragrance. Pure magic. Is it for everyone? Probably not. It’s like the scent version of that wild, unpredictable friend you only half-understand but always want to hang out with. Lucas Sieuzac created this masterpiece, and no joke, it’s hands down the most unique, mind-bending fragrance I’ve ever come across. Scent: 9.8/10 (it practically radiates swagger) Projection: 9.5/10 (this fragrance doesn’t just enter, it arrives) Longevity: 9/10 (it sticks around longer than that one friend who never leaves) Overall: 9.5/10 (if fragrances had a red carpet, this one would be strutting down it in a tux)

I once tried Reflection on a paper strip and realized it was a very nice fragrance. Maybe not for me perhaps a bit too light for my taste but objectively a beautiful scent. The next time, I tested it on skin ... and I regretted it. This fragrance simply wasn’t for me, and it even started to bother me after a while. So, after several months had passed and I came across it again, I decided to give it one more chance. But right next to it, I noticed Reflection 45 a version I didn’t even know existed. After smelling the original Reflection from the bottle and dismissing it, I sprayed a bit of the new one on my skin, with some hesitation, thinking it might be stronger and potentially overwhelming after half an hour. But the opposite happened. The fragrance was intriguing. Maybe it still didn’t feel entirely “mine,” but it clearly had something special. So, a week later, I returned and tried it again. Revelation. An incredible fragrance and what quality! A completely different level. This is Amouage in terms of both quality and execution. So distinctive and refined, much like Jubilation 40. In the end, I fell in love with it. It’s extremely expensive and not something for everyday wear, but rather a collector’s piece. A fragrance to have on your shelf and wear in those moments when you feel the need for its uniqueness. Its performance isn’t mindblowing. It lasts well, but it becomes a skin scent relatively quickly and the sillage is simply respectable it won’t fill a room by any means. But who cares? It stays close to you, giving you that sense of deep, genuine luxury for hours. Very few fragrances manage to be so Serious and at the same time so Airy, so Deep yet so Weightless. I’ll say it again, I fell in love with it.

Reflection 45 - A TAMED BEAST. Ok, where to start... This is definitely middle-eastern perfumery. The original is kinda different than any Amouage fragrance that I tried. The 45 is more typical Amouage than the original. To those saying it's "the same" as the original, have you actually smelled both? 😃 Try side-by-side. They maybe share that basic DNA when drying down, but they are noticeably different, especially in the opening. I do prefer the original, it's a personal all-time favorite. But it's subjective. The 45 is also amazing! It's a little punchier, the wood aspects are much stronger while the original gives me more floral vibes, which I do prefer. What I love about 45 is that it changes so often on my skin every time I wore it, like it's telling a story. Very very interesting, hard to put a label on it as to "who is it for". Also, what I really like about it, it's strong but smooth at the same time. I've smelled this on a buddy of mine and he simply dominated the room. I wore Mefisto Gentiluomo at that moment, which 'disappeared' as soon as he arrived. 😄 Definitely has a multitude of woods in it but also some vanilla and other things that somehow "tame the beast". After testing it I see why many of you love it. I really like it, too. But subjectively, as I said, the original is more for me. This is ultra strong, demands attention but doesn't smell that offensive. Great stuff! Price is high though, that's why I ordered a decant first. But to people who love strong arabic perfumes - it's probably worth the price.

For the enthusiasts: Let's just say someone's balls are tingly rn😊😊😊😊😊 Upon first snivel I felt something deep and veiny awaken in my body. As if a vital subserviance to this scent had established within me -- is this what its like to have all my holes filled? As I gripped the bottle, I was bewildered by the sensations in my naughty regions and was simultaneously presented with the specular reflection of my own face, orthogonal in the pearlescence of the glass. I knew that I would forever be changed. Chakras alligned, cummies to the max, and an instinct to keester the shiny bottle -- the worker could not even begin to comprehend the sensations. Nothing at this moment could stop me. To say the least I got frisky that night with the clarified butter...🤭 To break this down for the fatuous layman, a few insights in the form of passages have been generously provided: "Are you an idiot? Amouage Reflection 45: The Quintessential Masculine Fresh Fragrance This scent lasts and projects for hours on skin, and an eternity on fabric. Fresh, aromatic, and woody in the best possible way. Reflection 45 rises like pale light behind frosted glass. It opens with a soft drift of iris powder, airy and fluffy, settling on the skin in a quiet silver glow. Reflection 45 Man by Amouage is another outstanding creation from the brand’s exceptional extraits collection, and true to its name, it is a remarkable reflection of Amouage’s image and mastery. I have already expressed my admiration for Amouage, and this fragrance only deepens my respect for their artistry. The perfume opens with a unique and beautifully orchestrated blend of balsamic benzoin, powdery juniper berries, aromatic sage, and spicy cardamom, all seamlessly wrapped in a soft veil of lavender. As it unfolds, a delicate floral heart emerges, revealing a refined fusion of iris, jasmine, and neroli, bringing softness and elegance to the composition. The dry down is where Reflection 45 truly shines: the brand’s signature Omani frankincense merges with sandalwood, vanilla, cedar, and myrrh, creating a rich and profound base. Patchouli and vetiver subtly dominate the dry down, adding depth and texture. This is an easy, versatile scent that could effortlessly become an everyday signature. I have yet to try the original Reflection Man to draw a proper comparison, but Reflection 45 alone stands as a truly elegant statement. Rating: 4/5

Firstly may I say this fragrance is amazing. Since I purchased Reflection 45, I have in fact saved money. No longer am I desperately searching for my perfect fragrance. If you enjoy the OG you will love the 45 version. It has this resinous yet easy going vibe. The Iris in this is real Orris. It smells rooty and buttery smooth. It does lose some freshness from the OG, which is why I still keep a bottle of the OG for warmer day time use. However this ouzes class and sophistication. I so look forward to wearing 45. I will guarantee when you wear 45 you will be the best smelling man in the room. Layering the OG with 45 crushes any projection issues mentioned on here. Personally I like 45 on its own the sillage bubble you leave is crazy. Is this worth the money. Absolutely yes. This is the pinnacle of perfumery. Some how despite all the notes it is easy to wear and not a challenge in any way due to the blend. I enjoy Amouage fragrances but have to be in the right mood for some of their offerings. 45 is like buttery silky Iris, sweet resins and creamy sandalwood. My search is over for perfection.

a refined and elegant ambery, floral-woody musk that trades projection for intimacy. it’s less of a “standout signature statement” and more about being “the best-dressed person in the room”. on my skin and to my nose, it centers on a balsamic, resinous core of incense and woods, with a faint leathery quality. i can also pick up warm spices, a soapy-clean rose-lavender accord, and the slightest hint of citrus brightness. the iris arrives waxy and powdery, evoking lipstick-smooth textures and the warmth of suntan lotion. beneath them lies a sweet and creamy base of white florals (expensive-smelling, non-indolic), almond, vanilla, and musk. what a lovely formula this is! wow! what impresses me too is how beautifully balanced and grounded it feels. the sweetness and creaminess never turn gourmand, while the incense never feels overly dry. overall, this one may not break new ground or demand attention, but everything about it feels effortlessly tasteful and quietly luxurious. thank you Amouage and Lucas Sieuzac.

The original Reflection has almost a lactonic quality, it’s fairly light and ethereal despite its large projection. Reflection 45 is much richer, spicier, and more aromatic. What’s funny is this fragrance omits the Rosemary note that was present in the original, but I smell a STRONG Rosemary note. The Iris in this smells different than that of its EDP predecessor, it smells much more green. It’s much more of an Iris flower now instead of the creamier Orris found in the EDP. This fragrance places emphasis on green and woody notes, more-so than the original, yet is still crowd pleasing. It is elegant, warm, refined, upscale and confident. Despite its warmth, it blooms in the heat making it perfectly suitable for all seasons. It’s also alluring and seductive. It’s somehow evocative of so many feelings and has such depth, yet carries immense versatility and is signature scent worthy. I think this might have dethroned the original for me, which is saying a lot. Absolute masterpiece of a fragrance.

Reflection 45'' İris ve Süsen ağacı özütü.. yaklaşık 2 3 saat önce reflection ile karşılaştırmalar yapıyorum. Koku zenginliği , farklı notaları ve akorları , arasında var olan geçiş bağları ve akıcılık. birbirlerini farklı yollarda izliyorlar ama köken aynı. Size şunu söylemeliyim ki, esans derecesi ne kadar fazla olsada farklı kullanılan notalar ve geçişler, kalite olarak biraz düşürmüş. Fakat esans derecelerini kendim üretttiğim için size şunu söylemeliyim ki reflection 45 benim için daha güzel bir parfüm. Burada kullanılan süsen ve iris notaları mükemmel uyum sağlamış normal olan reflection parfümü ile. Geçişler çok akıcı ve sürükleyici. lavanta ve olibanum reçineleri kokunun karakteristik özelliğini değiştirmiş. Normal reflectionu destekleyen bir parfüm olmamış. Aynı taban altında farklı bir çalışma öne sürülmüş. Yaz ayında 10 fıs sıksan bile , ultra performans modu yok. Yağlı doygun bir parfüm olmuş. Ve benim için black iris gibi bir hikayesi olmayan bir kokudur. 10/10.01

Oh my goodness this is the most beautiful fragrance I’ve ever smelled. It is so well blended you can’t pick up on just one note at a time, but every time I wear it I get nuances of different notes. It makes me feel so clean, confident and at ease. Projection is decent you keep a nice bubble throughout the entire wear. I don’t get the complaints, unless you want everyone in the room to smell you. Sillage is amazing, I do 1 spray behind each ear then 1 on each wrist and it last more than 12h with beautiful whiffs every time I move. Sometimes I’ll spray this on my wrist to go to bed. The OG is beautiful as well but has something in it that reminds me of Raid bug spray... Yes, it is expensive and I’m always looking out for discounters because I won’t pay full retail for it. However this is still my all time favorite scent out of everything I’ve put my nose on along with Naxos. I have a full bottle and want another so if anyone has a bottle they want to get rid of, pls pm me!
