Saffron Hamra

First impression. Strong open of lux saffron. Juniper and rose are there but this is definitely saffron dominant on me. It feels substantial and as it progress, the leather gets drier. Still testing so will update but so far I think this one is a very good. Second impression: my opinion hasn't changed much. I really like the fragrance but not quite enough to seek out a bottle from discounters or private sellers. When I see cade oil I think of a strong showing of cade/juniper but this one is very smooth and easy to wear. The saffron is most prominent and the oud has a moment but it never gets truly skanky or challenging. Performance is solid on my skin but not crazy. ----------------------------------------------- Scent 88/100 Performance 80/100 P.S. Smells nothing like the discontinued Kilian Incense Oud

Thoughts of a sampling... * Mmmmm very nice. * The Cade Oil is the vessel. * And the Saffron is the passenger. * With the Rose acting as the drink server. * Sillage is nice, not too beastly. * And has staying power galore. * There is a problem with this however. * The Rose is fleeting. * It comes and goes * And on some wearings it doesn't show at all. * For the price of this ride the drink server should be at your beckon call. ** Final thoughts...One of the better ones if not the best from the new Attars Collection. On occasion the Rose is absent on me and that is a huge disappointment. *** Edit: However that did not stop me from picking up a bottle and I am thoroughly pleased.

0.7ml vial from the official sample set via the Harrods website. For me, this is - by far - the best of the Amouage attars available outside Oman (I haven’t tried all of the Oman exclusives yet). It’s heady, concentrated and sweet; simultaneocusly luxurious, warm and comforting. It makes me feel like I’m drinking the world’s most expensive cup of saffron-infused milk tea. To my nose, it’s a pretty linear saffron bomb - I don’t detect any rose as a discrete note. I have been layering this with kyara oud oil to add more of a base note. Amazing, and the only attar from the sampler set that I 100% plan to buy a full tola of.

One of the smoothest oud fragrances. The oud is ever so slightly animatic (which I like - it’s right in the middle of challenging, unique but acceptable). Smells deep, rich and incense-y. It’s nice but I just think there are other options for scents that go for this vibe. Don’t get me wrong, this thing is super gorgeous, luxurious and smells the highest of qualities. Super long lasting. Definitely check it out yourself, you’ll be impressed!

Sometimes I say, "This perfume is made for a king." This time I'm going to say this perfume is made for a demigod :)) Longevity is great, but projection is not that impressive. But hey, it's oil. So..... It's the best-smelling perfume I've ever experienced, as if you're swimming in an ocean of saffron.

An overall beautiful yet very challenging fragrance. Out of all of the Amouage attars, I'd say that this one is the most complex. It is saffron throughout but as the fragrance evolves and dries down, an extraordinarily rich chocolatey character emerges. I tend to mix this one with guidance.

Coco cola , karpuz, kavun, süt , aklınıza gelebilecek her şey.. İşte bu makine sayesinde safran sauce' yapılmış. Soğuk , metalik bir safran karışımıdır. Tenime sıktığım an safran & deri kombinasyonu diye düşündüm. Deri en başta çok güçlü başladı fakat 40 saniye sonra bu deri akoru hemen sesini düşürdü. Safranın tatlı ve metalik hissini çok güzel bir şekilde yaşatıyor. ⚙️❄️🌹 10/8.3

Agree with stalal below me, slightly animalic saffron, but not the leathery type. I couldn't pick out the rose as rose, but it contributes for sure. The cade oil gives it a subtle animalic smokiness that reminds me of smoke dancing away from a small fire as you watch the shape of the narrow cloud flow in and out. The flow mimics the flow of notes in this, as it all just blends together seamlessly. I enjoy it like I enjoy a well crafted car interior where everything just fits tightly with even gapping and attention to detail. This is a good example of superb blending where you can't pick out individual notes easily, but in a good way (not in a cheap mish mash way). Very dynamic for a 3 note composition.

ترکیبی جذاب از روایح عودی،انیمالیک و اسپایسی. عطر از تغییر نت زیادی برخوردار نیست و به همین دلیل پایان و شروع با کمی تفاوت و تغییر هست اما فضای ابتدایی،عودی و انیمالیک هست که با حضور کم رنگ رز و زعفرانی که اسپایسی و چرمی هست شروع میشه و وزشی آرام از روایح آروماتیک و روغنی رو هم داخلش احساس می کنید.هرچه بیشتر به انتهای عطر می رسیم رز پررنگ تر میشه اما با این حال محوریت با چوب و ادویه هاست.عطار این کار سسیل زاروکیان هست که میشه تا حدودی فضای عطر رو تشخیص داد. مانگاری خوبی داره اما نسبت به غلظت عطر پایین هست و پخش متوسط. *********************************************************** scent:7.5/10 longevity:8/10 sillage:6/10 purchase value:0.5/10 :((( ************* overall:5.5/10

This attar has had me in a chokehold for six months. I don’t care how hot it is. I don’t need a freshly. Turn the air up! This scent is chewy and smoky and loaded with ambery oud caramel deliciousness. Yes it’s crazy expensive but it lasts a long time and a little dab will suffice. I get 5 ml rollerballs so I can afford it but at some point I just need the bottle.

This is a beautiful slightly animalic saffron. It’s the best for me from this attar line. I got a sample pack of these attars because I am unable to justify the price for me. It is quintessentially Middle Eastern. Edit: ended up buying few from this attar line. These are good!

I am obsessed with this smell. I just got a bottle and I'm already considering a backup even before getting another one from the collection. Starts off with some roughness but smoothes down to something magical. Cecile Zarokian knows how to make magic. Backup bottle acquired.

can't speak to how this wears on skin but judging from a bottle whiff this is almost identical to one of my favorite smells in the world: diaspora co's Kashmiri saffron. I've never experienced a saffron note with nearly as much realism as this one
