The Library Collection Rose Incense Amouage (Red bottle, 175 USD, BNIB) I have many feeling towards Rose Incense by Amouage, it is an amusement ride. Even scent is linear, I can't really categorize do I really like this scent or it just unfamiliar. One thing I could say, In realm of old world amber. Myrrh seems doesn't suite my skin. I tried few Myrrh fragrances before, it was dusty powdery experience. The was some texture that reminds me dry dust, I might just don't like it in general. Its slight dry balsamic touch, it is sort of hang in the middle amber profile for me.. Rose Incense, however even Myrrh is dominant as texture I recall, very resinous. I don't find this unpleasant but something still brother. Maybe because that dry dusty aspect was merge to woody note. But it still slight show the texture. Where I find this is most pleasant toward this profile should be rose. It is definitely dry lime rose but it is somewhat have its dew side. I feel like, this might be the cleaver manipulating of Elemi as It has strong sourness. I recall similar rose profile, Lyrics Man by Amouage. And it sits on warm Olibanum very well like a perfection. I really wish to be explain how luxurious the experience is. However, Rose Incense interpreted the combination in more papery kind of way. I feel like this is more of brunt Armenian paper, the heat from olibanum and Papery note from Myrrh with woody note. It can't really evoke a feeling of Incense. In that Matter, I think Café Rose or Garanat can do better. Still, I feel sexy wearing this and I barely mention this idea, As I personally don't believe the concept of Jour and Nuit scent. I feel out of place wearing Rose Incense to workplace today as a Jour fragrance. I don't find this very Masculine or Feminine, it is truly unisex. It has miracle aspect that could work on both skin, Enigmatic should be great word. As olfactive of Rose & Incense and Woody Amber, I think Rose Incense is Masterpiece. It reach the point that can show both Rose & Incense strongly. Diamond of first water, A Jewel for Florental lover. But... yeah, I wish you try this first. I think it is very emotional fragrance but wisdom. A Librarian kind of vibe. But it is one of very good fragrance in the market.

Best rose fragrance ever, best church incense fragrance ever. If it seems simple, it's because it needs to be to let the glorious opulence of the ingredients throb off of the skin. There's no higher quality incense note around. There's a very strong connection to Opus X, which, despite having masses of types of rose, smells more like a geranium scent to me. This is THE Amouage rose scent. They have many, but this is pared back, foregoing the peppers and spices and oud accords found elsewhere to showcase the majestic, complex rose. Spellbinding and utterly, ridiculously nuclear, which it should be, because this rose is a dazzling, devestating rose to end all others. The long drydown is reminiscent of Silver Oud for its Amouage take on smouldering vanilla. Side note: overspray, and in the crook of your elbow, you may get a sort of vegetal freshness. I can't put my finger on it, perhaps raw carrot with some citronella and rooty iris, very intriguing. Perhaps it's the ink accord. Update: Every time I wear this I feel like there's some dish or foodstuff that it reminds me of, and today I've finally realised what it is... Carrot and coriander soup! Somehow this is now a bad thing, because it's just some scent association my brain is creating, and it's not overwhelmingly soupy, it's just a hint. I feel like I'm wearing a rose incense perfume having prepared and cooked the ingredients for said soup. The new formulation doesn't have this element, but it smells much more obvious and accessible, and thus less interesting to me.

Rose Incense does exactly what it says on the tin - it is an excellent rose-laced incense scent. Despite its strong performance, it is made with a light touch, airy and green as well as showcasing a rich amber base. RI opens with light, dewy rose bolstered by balsamic elemi. I get the ink note too - it is fleeting but accurately rendered, reminiscent of a quill and inkpot novelty gift I received as a child. It complements the rose-incense accord, despite being a left-field choice. I love when a creative risk pays off! There is a pine-like undertone to the opening, thanks to the elemi. The incense develops with the scent, becoming wonderfully churchy. I adore a good incense note, having been raised Catholic. The suede note that emerges as it continues to develop is realistic and blends well with the amber accord. The amber accord becomes more resinous as it dries down while smooth vanilla adds sweetness, complementing it nicely. Some woody notes ground it here too. The incense remains until final fade, not too smoky, but nicely aromatic. Sillage is strong and longevity is fairly long-lasting. It is best worn in cold weather. RI is an excellent incense scent featuring a great unisex use of rose. Unusually for a spicy-amber rose scent, the rose note is fresh and transparent instead of being dark and rich. As a lover of both rose and incense notes, RI is a beautifully rendered, high-quality treat. More incense than rose, but a truly great marriage. Yet another full bottle I want from Amouage. 5/5.

I wore for the first time last night and was sucker punched in the midsection. That feeling you’ve forgotten something important and are almost in a panic. Where do I know this fragrance from. I’m at a loss. Why am I feeling that something I lost has been returned? I’m not sure I’ve ever felt this feeling from a fragrance before. Incense seems lifted on a warm wind over candied lemon (the Elemi is magical) and the ink gives a feeling of space, coolness, almost waiting at the same time? And then the rosewater joins the mix. It’s all light and dark and yet never heavy. The incense is beautiful dry and warm and the texture I get in the base (suede?) is plush. What is this sorcery❤️ Easily the most beautiful rose I’ve ever smelt of any genre. I have read lots of comments. I believe it’s unisex but so, so hauntingly beautiful. Can I encourage men to wear this? You won’t smell feminine - but you will smell f$&king beautiful ❤️ and we need more of that. I have a large decant and the promise of a bottle soon (edit: acquired), this is my Amouage of Amouages... I’ll just go back to quietly huffing myself in peace now ❤️

I bought a discovery set for Amouge for women and received a sample of this amongst the freebies. Thank goodness for that, they can read me! :)) This one is absolutely a Love at first sniff!!! I've been spraying the sample already, so much so I have already ordered the full bottle. It's not as complex and multilayered as the other amouages in the discovery set but I feel like it's actually a good thing especially for a daily go to perfume. It's neither cloying nor overly strong. It makes me happy and at ease every time I sniff a whiff of it. I don't particularly like the usual rose scents per se but I love certain smoky/aromatic, woody and earthy rose blends, and this one is on top of the list, followed by POAL, and Epic Woman. 3 April 2021 update: This is now my new favourite. I'm getting addicted to its smoky floral cleanness!😅 And it looks like this composition is the first of its own since nobody has indicated, so far, that this one reminds them of another fragrance.

the name says it all : Rose Incense. intoxicating rose...smoky..oily rose. sometime not a rose at all but incense, rich smoke from the temple of ancient gods. the beginning reminds me OPUS VI, but RI is easier to wear. can be overwhelming at times. two sprays is a max. great quality, great performance...like old times. for connoisseur looking for real staff, i advise to get a bottle while first production batch is available...unfortunately with many Amouage performance seams to go down with later productions. expansive, but worse it for quality you get. treated myself for BD :) and "now i bath" - loved this words from one of the perfume admirer. Enjoy!

While rose scent usually brings me a sense of serenity, here the rose feels disquieted. The ink note and dryness make me think of parchment, maybe old books, with the woody undertones of an old library. True to the brand's description, this fragrance tells me a tale of yearning, something unresolved. Someone searching through books for an answer or a piece of clarity, surrounded by incense smoke; a writer restlessly giving form to their thoughts in ink. The rose is like a pure, innocent heart; but it's surrounded by unease, a smoky obscurity, and yet, sustained by an unyielding determination.

This is one of the scents that got me hooked on perfume. To me, Rose Incense smells like the opera. Like low lights, mystery, secret romances and backroom deals. Like a pipe-smoking slightly heavy-set aging woman with dark red lipstick and a loud voice. Very dramatic. She's that woman who knows everyone and whom everyone knows. I absolutely love it and it's definitely too much for my every day life. I feel like I don't have enough presence to wear this scent (instead of me being worn by it.) Maybe in another decade?

I am in a euphoric state. This is what I have been waiting for. In the past 6 months, I have developed a strong desire for rose fragrances. Why? I don’t know. It hits me and I roll with it. I have tried Ambre’ Nuit, Gold Rose Oud, Lyric Man while waiting to afford this one. This is perfection. Absolutely perfect combination of all the notes listed, in my humble opinion. Going to get exceedingly groomed and spray this elixir on tomorrow and then go shopping. The gray fedora and scarf, I think.....🤔

A simple, beautiful and haunting perfume. The perfume opens with balsamic notes of resinous woods mainly elemi. The heart is mostly rose. The perfume quickly settles into an incense base comprised of myrrh and olibanum. There is not much novel here, but the perfume is still gorgeous because of its high quality natural ingredients and Zen like simple precision. The unisex perfume has moderate to strong sillage and good longevity, and radiates a happy energy. Enjoy!

Gorgeous perfume. Simple idea, excellent execution. There’s a masterful spice effect on the pink rose through a rich almost ambered myrrh and olibanum in the base. Perhaps Elemi is the balsamic-vanillic resinous element that brings it all together. Enveloping and long lasting, especially on clothes. In its heart this perfume smells like a fine luxury Indian rose incense (eg those by Pure Incense or Sacred Elephant). Spicy resinic rose in the drydown. Lovely.

Stunning in its simplicity. A pure, angelic fragrance that recreates what it is like to put your nose into a jar of fresh church incense. As you inhale you get a deep, sensual rose with a waxy, redolent myrrh and bright, lemony elemi. Somewhere I detect the vague hint of plastic, but not as shrill as the varnish note in Opus X which has similarities. This is more demure, refined and the texture is like a soothing milk balm. Love it.

i love this perfume. Smells like POAL but to my nose, a better version. Very long lasting, great sillage and interesting drydown. the smell exudes luxury, a nice rose thats not too rosy and sweet when the incense and myrrh join the party to create a new character. Not your ordinary smell but you stand apart from others. Super longlasting and sillage. Expensive but you get the rewards. I bought it finally!

Love at first sniff! It reminds me of scented rosaries. It's simple but smells luxurious. Not sweet or jammy and no green notes. It's bold and will definitely get you noticed. Think like a vintage rose but with other elements to make it modern. It's unisex but I think it will smell absolutely divine on a man. Long lasting and strong sillage. A good to have for rose lovers.

I tried this today and thought I had found THE ONE. It smells exactly like my favourite incense does unburnt (I keep the boxes in my drawers to scent my clothes), only richer. Then, alas, I saw the price tag. I don't understand how it can cost so much when it could probably be replicated with Lush's Rose jam + the resin essential oils... maybe I'll try that.

Mature, elegant, mysterious scent, I can imagine Polly from peaky blinders wearing it. Dark, resinous , dense red rose, with all its slight sour velvety melody of a violin. Puts me in mature, feminine mood and brings up the desire to decorate myself to look opulent ) although I can see it on men also, but then more formal evening outfit.

Devine, luxurious and elegant. I sprayed this on myself today and was transferred to the palace of Versailles immediately. That’s how expensive I feel. Definitely getting a full bottle of this soon. Long lasting and I kept getting whiffs of it during the day. A true masterpiece in a bottle.

What a beautiful rose water scent! it’s very powerful too. what you want more than this?! Don’t fool by the other notes, this is 85% about the rose water. ( The other notes all to getter create a very realistic rose water scent ) And that’s magnificent. 9/10

Not cheap but stunning: makes me think of a deep, red rose on a black velvet cushion, that has been near someone smoking a pipe. A true unisex rose. Be careful of the fakes already doing the rounds.

I'm not one for Rose either but this is lovely. Is it just me or is this a better version of penhaligan's as sawira? Unlike that one, though, the rose doesn't go grandma in this one

Just a reminder that this was indeed a Chong release. He did an interview where he revealed the inspiration behind it. All those saying 'boring, Chong would never...' well he did.

Rose and Incense indeed. I have yet to find a house that does incense as well as Amouage. This is a strong one. I agree with SuzanneS review below. Excellent

One of the best Rose Incense combination

Minimalistic beauty. Rose Incense is a familiar scent to any Arabic nose, even if they have not smelled it before. Rose Incense's soul is filled with Damask rose; a unique oriental rose from which rose water is created. It is stronger and a more serious rose note, akin to the desert mountains on which it grows. This rose is mixed with a spicy-&-woody incense accord made mainly of: olibanum, myrrh, elemi, & a hint of sandalwood. This accord is again serious & sharp, but calm, almost brooding. This accord strips the rose of its tenderness but the rose stands tall, refusing to lose all of its personality. Rosey, serious, sharp, spicy, woody, melancholic. Of note, while Damask rose is named after the Damascus region in Syria, Oman, the country of Amouage, grows its own rose that share almost identical smell to that of Damask rose, & from which Omani rose water is created. Per the brand, that is the rose note they went for. This classic smell, not Rose Incense in particular, has been quite popular in the Arab world for decades. It's sold in different variations by different Arabic houses. Rose Incense is Amouage's take on the classic aroma & is made with Amouage's highest of the high standards. A unisex, mature, cool weathe wear. Great performance like the rest of Amouage. Personally, I find the price too steep. However, for people with no access to such geographically-specific scents, this can be a godsend. "Like"

This made my wallet hurt a damn lot, but the projection and longevity are triple that of nonsense brands like Byredo that cost about 2/3 the price. All i need are 2 sprays of this to smell myself under a face mask. I am in general a rose lover (even my toilet spray is rose scented) and am happy with most, if not all, roses. That gave me a huge dilemma ironically, when choosing that 1 rose signature scent to be sprayed on myself, not the toilet. It was the jamminess plus the smokiness that got me, after evaluating many other rose scents that just didn't convince me to pull out the cash. This is super delicious and addictive. I don't appreciate the review here that said this smelt like a horny catholic priest after midnight, thanks for ruining the aesthetic. Side note on Lyric Man/Woman which i also considered - after two store visits i deduce that those two are more on the clean, pulled together, powdery spectrum of scents. They were great too and i'll be coming back for them, but no, they are really not similar to Rose Incense which is much more of a bad boy.

I have been looking for an opportunity to test this for quite some time and was so happy to discover a tester in a high-end niche perfumery shop. The combination of rose and incense sounded so tempting and it really did not disappoint. It is a beautiful incense, quite intense and well blended with a wonderful rose. And the sillage is just perfect - clearly noticable but not overwhelming and great longevity. Downside - this is really expensive. And: I seem to be the only one in my family who likes it. For me this is often the problem with niche scents. Now after some time with this hobby my nose is apparently more accustomed to more unique scents but everyone around me finds them odd. To a certain extend I wear perfume for my own pleasure but I also want my close ones to like how I smell. So it is a pass. But I highly recommend to test it if you are into incense scents. Truly unisex.

Take the soapy rose from Lyric Man...and smash it with a ton of resins and incense...really good release and this further proves that Amouage is the top of the crop when it comes to oriental releases and incense in general. This is what middle eastern perfumery is all about. Its just amazing how well the notes play with each other here. Very complex and i think worth the money in the end. This is like Lyric Man if he started chain smoking and wearing leather jackets. Try if you like: Akkad, Mon Nom est Rouge, POAL, Lyric Man

On my skin, initially I get a giant whiff of smoke and spices, and then within a minute or two a slightly jammy and even soapy rose appears, ever so slightly sweet but not cloying. The genius of this scent is in the balance between lightness and gravity from the woods. By no means is it a unique scent, but it is one of the only spicy rose scents I can stand on myself in humid summer weather.

This is amazing, it is so middle eastern, Incense is done right, Rose is done right, its perfect.

So if you live in the Middle East you’ve probably been at a mosque or celebration where rose water was used for guests. It’s interesting because this does smell of that tose water and what many are unaware of is that rose water is the excess when the oil is extracted the remaining quantities of water are then left with the rose scent this byproduct is then sold. Here we have a fleeting olibanum up top with a rose in the top and mid. It’s beautiful so far the dry down however is a cloying vanilla and woody amber which only increase in intensity as the naturals evaporate off your skin. A few hours in and especially in the summer heat this is unbearable. I enjoy the fragrance for short bursts of time where I dont want to commit to a dry down or reapply to get the top and mid. One of Christopher Chong’s final works here we see him slowly turning full circle to where he began with interesting concepts and good execution the middle of the Chong era went a little crazy. Alas now we are looking at a brand new Amouage which is trying to look forward for beauty than recreate the past which is kind of disheartening because Amouage was about quality, execution and getting the very best of a theme or genre. Right now its less experimental than Chongs second phase and definitely targeting the masses. There is a huge disconnect between early Amouage fans and current fans the kind of mix up with brand only paralleled by Porsche and Dua Lipa. Both brands for connoisseurs of fine quality and craftsmanship watered down for social media marketing. So far the way sales are going unfortunately seems Mr Salmon is here to stay. The least he could’ve down was preserve the past well in Ubar, Beloved woman et al.

Beautiful composition with lovely rose and promising dark notes at the beginning. Very unisex and suitable for all ocasions. Unfortunately it has a moderate longevity - up to 5 hours - and intimate projection. The fragrance is most present the first hour as well as its projection. After 2 hours it becomes the skin cent. After 4 hours you can only detect vanilla and residuals. Considering this should be the exclusive line and have 25% of oil concentration, such performance at this price level is a big fail and shame :-( At this time you will not be able to order this packaging and bottle no more - it has just changed to Opus XII Rose Incense with Amouage like bottles from classical man designer line. I wonder if the juice has been changed as well ...

I get minimal if any incense from this fragrance. I see a lot of reviews talking of how smoky and "church incensy" this one is but I don't get that at all. It's very clean, astringent and dominated by a somewhat sweet rose. The rose gets sweeter or more "jammy" and less astringent in the deep dry down. I've seen this compared to Frederic Malles Portrait Of A Lady and I don't think they smell alike at all. POAL is darker, definitely smokier and not as sweet. This fragrance is more like Lyric Man. It smells very smooth, expensive and high quality overall, with a serious tone or overall feeling to it. The performance is slightly above average. Arms length projection for a few hours, full day as a skin scent, lasting around 8 hours.

The positive: The silvery cool incense with the ink and myrrh are excellent. The negative: scratchy cedar whallops you from the base in the opening. Its never good to have the opening dip to the base so fast. Above that, it distracts from a simplistic idea of incense and rose. Something in the base makes my stomach churn sadly. The meh: The vanilla desperately keeps this likeable for larger audiences. The rose, while beautiful, is receeded with the aeromatic facets keeping it in its cage to never fully bloom. A mixed bag, but if incense is your passion, you must experience it.

The opening is beautiful and soft and almost makes you fell in love. Almost! After half an hour you smell like an old catholic church! too much incense and it drowns the softiness. Pass....

I bought this after trying the impression done by Oil Perfumery. They're basically identical, thank God. The perfume has a bit more complexity to it. The ingredients are of extremely high quality and you can tell they're natural. There's a "living" nature to the scent and it morphs. I believe the opening is all about that burning newspaper alluded to on the box. Ink. Resin. Then the rose comes in. Smelled very natural. Sweet but not in any cloying type of way. TIThen the incense peaks through more and more. (Weirdly?) The oil has a much stronger projection and longevity than the perfume, however. I do wish the bottle was a little flashier at this price point. But all in all, I love the fragrance, which is the most important part. EDIT: I knew there was vanilla in this! The sandalwood is also apparent in the dry down. After wearing it some more, I can safely say I adore this. I get about 4 hours of good projection before it becomes a skin scent But that skin scent lasts a long long time.

I don't typically like rose-forward fragrances, so take my review with a grain of salt. I really like the base. The incense is beautifully done and does make me feel like I'm in a church, in a good way. However, the rose is overpowering for me personally. The real disappointment is that is loses most of the incense after a few hours and eventually reads quite masculine on my skin. It's still an interesting fragrance though, so definitely worth sampling if you like rose and/or incense!

Temporary impression: this perfume arrived yesterday. I was expecting at the best to smell elemi and vanilla floral combo, at the worst to smell nothing but old fashioned rose. Much to my horror, the liquid smells like civet + old fashioned rose. Over the years I grew to recognize it because it almost makes me hurl and so far I've been able to correctly pin point it. But this perfume isn't supposed to have civet, and it's almost impossible to not sense all of these listed resins. I was too afraid and unprepared mentally to spray it on my skin so when I finally do I will update this and let you know if the civet was just some unfortunate olfactory phenomenon that isn't present when you actually spray this on yourself. Not keeping my hopes high because my experience with Amouage perfumes so far even included one that smelled like cat pee to me.

I’m not even going to pretend this wasn’t an extremely risky blind-buy for me, considering two years of covid-lockdown employment insecurity. I just needed it. And thank f#%^€£g Heaven, it’s not only not a loss, it’s a gigantic win for me. What a low-humidity summer scent! It arrived today, 103F but maybe only 30% humidity, so being active from 11am to 8pm, my skin was always kissed by gentle sweat, and this beast roared gloriously. The entire time. My bottle is the “new” version (classic Amouage “man” bottle, not sure about any formulation amendments compared to the original Library “flask”), so I’m hoping things somehow changed (obviously for the better) from whatever made previous reviewers complain about it’s low projection and short lifespan. I mean this with all due respect, my intention is not at all to question other reviewers, because scents are an incredibly immersive and highly subjective experience. Maybe I’m just particularly sensitive to some ingredients. Admittedly, I typically abhor almost every elemi-bomb I have ever encountered, so it’s masterful representation here might be what keeps me SO aware of its strength. It is now almost 4am, I had a few hours of sleep-napping after a very long day of chores and errands, and I am STILL very much getting loving embraces from the insides of my forearms. One spray _only_ gently tapped together and allowed to air dry before putting on my shirt. But I have honestly enjoyed at least three master-pieces of scent conglomerations while wearing it ‘today’ — rose myrrh olibanum amber dominant for the first four hours, vanilla cedar sandalwood balsam for the next four hours, and then a sumptuous inky-jammy suede now lilts & lingers around my sheets & pillows. This is a fragrance I am very much looking forward to living with, I can only imagine it enhancing just about every experience in my life for the next few months. Therefore it’s not only justified, but very much needed indeed.

I'll admit - there is no boundary pushing revelations of perfumery to be seen here. It is a simple theme we've all come across many times before, but maybe not with this execution. What starts as a sweet yet dark rose, turns resinous -almost like a multi faceted rose liquor. Incense raises its head to close out the scent with gusto. Not particularly creative for Amouage but I love it still. I'll be interested to see where this new line of 'it's all about...' goes to. Maybe this is Amouage's answer to Andy Tauer's Tauerville line (just five times the price). In fact, if you want a rough approximation of this scent spray on Rose Flash and Incense Flash. Either way - a great purchase and another winner from the brand. 8 Diana's out of ten. Edit - after several more wearing's I must say: this incense is excellent. Every time I wear this I get something different. From something so simple, I get so much. Lets up that rating to a 10 please :) 2nd edit: it takes a lot for me to come back here on purpose and pause drinking my negroni so I can update a review but... everybody needs to give this perfume time. Not too impressed in store. My review above attests to the scent growing on me. But now... this is top level execution. Top three Amouage’s now without doubt. Get your nose on this juice pronto.

And that's exactly how it begins, with a photorealistic dusty, dark, fleshy pink, the 'Rock Rose' of the Dhofar Mountains in Oman, a local variety of Damask Rose blending with a steaming infusion of a sweet, slightly smoky, balsamic green incense that will last for its duration. As he progresses, he begins to interact with other elements, precious supporting actors. In the center comes a soft suede leather that sets the stage for a resinous and creamy base with sandalwood and a differentiated incensed myrrh, finishing ambery and woody by vanilla and a woody cedar. It is like being in a Mosque before the start of prayer after the burning of a wonderful bakhoor of bittersweet red roses. It performs great! A flaoriental amber incensed woody balsamic unisex fragrance. Exceptional Amouage Quality!

I had the chance to try it today on a strip in Selfriges. Yes it is simple, it starts with a quite pronounced frankincense opening, somewhere in the middle between a more liturgical smokey incense and natural green frankincense oil and afterwards it morphs into a beautiful elegant rose. Simple, but simple done beautifully and with good materials which for me does the deal even if in a different way than the usual Amouages. It is indeed more minimalist compared to the Amouage signature of complex, sophisticated, notes of a Fate or Memoir. But again, simple done right and with great materials is beautiful. Question if this was still Chong since this release comes very soon after his departure but since it takes months for a new release to be developed and produced, maybe it is still him. I just hope they keep up the good materials and complex formulas after him.

This is an interesting fragrance. I get a very "waxy" rose from it, like a bouquet of silk roses, with the smell of waxed plastic stems a prominent note in the overall experience. Additionally, I got a neat "news media" vibe from it, like the scent of a magazine or newspaper page, which surprised and impressed me, considering that I was initially puzzled by the newsprint imagery they incorporated into the sample's presentation. The incense is bright and clean and a pleasant complement to the rest of the notes. Though ultimately this is not for me, I think it's a great release for someone else's palate. But if I were a rose addict, I think I might have to have it in my wardrobe, as it is one of the more intriguing interpretations of rose that I've come across. However for now, Lyric Man will remain my king of the roses.

The pyramid lists rose water and violà; that's exactly what we have raising the curtains here, along with citric flourishes of elemi, a true-to-life ink note, and a majestic, cold, stony frankincense. A dewey, chilled, aereated rose, sparkling in character, well behaved in the heat, while being resolutely full-bodied and stately in cooler weather This is a rose, frankincense, and myrrh show all the way through, with balsamic and resinous elements only accentuating the creamy, woody, and vanillic dry down of this fragrance. Rose-oud, rose-patch, rose-sandalwood, and various other run-of-the-mill combinations and permutations aside, here is one genre-bending fragrance, aptly named Rose Incense, that makes rose really fun again. Just brilliant!

Rose and Myrrh walk together in a nice parallel direction.. sometimes you feel rose.. sometimes you feel Myrrh poping as it is burning on fire..rose is not too sweet or cloying because of Myrrh.. after about 2 hours mark , both of them mixed together in a nice jammy , smooth smell perfectly unisex.. There is no much more about it .. but what you get from it is too much..it is a basic simple fragrance but very deep and rich and unique..it is a typical amouage attitude but most wearable amouage..hands down 10/10

Without Christopher Chong, House of Amouage will soon loose its respected identity in the ocean of designers, niche and indie house releases. Sounds like such an ordinary release from the epic house of Amouage. Notes instantly reminds something in lines of Aramis Rose Calligraphy. I hope, I am wrong.... instead hope for a surprise, with some unique twist while playing with given notes. Bottle design is so damn ordinary.

اسم العطر يشرح لك بكل بساطة رائحة العطر، عطر ورد بخوري سبايسي، من اجمل ما صنعت امواج، رغم اختلاف الناس على هذا العطر، الا اني اراءه جميل جداً، من يحب الورد بصورة بخورية سبايسية، بيحب هذا العطر، عندي عطر جارانات مع بلغاري، والحقيقة فعلاً فيه تشابه في الخط والرائحة، نفس الفكرة ولكن بتنفيذ مختلف قليلاً، عطر يستحق التجربة والشراء ولا نصح بالشراء العمياني، بالنسبة للاداء كعادة امواج اداءه فوق الممتاز كثبات وفوحان.
