Himalayan Woods

From the first spray, Himalayan Woods kicks the door down and announces itself like, “Hello, I’m here and I smell fantastic.” The opening is loaded with delicious spice - cardamom and sage doing the most - immediately grabbing your nose’s full attention. It’s sharp, confident, and bold... but before it gets too serious, the lemon blossom and juniper berries swoop in and keep things light and fresh. The result? A spicy, zesty opening that’s straight-up yummy and impossible to ignore. As it dries down, things get cozier and woodier (my favorite kind of character development). The woods take center stage while subtle vanilla and soft florals peek through, gently nudging this from a very masculine opening into true unisex territory. It’s like the scent equivalent of loosening your tie but still looking expensive. The tonka and musk linger beautifully - I caught myself sniffing my wrist all day like I’d just discovered fragrance for the first time. Performance-wise, this one shows up and clocks in a full shift. About 8 hours on my skin and even longer on clothes, with clean, woody, classy, mature vibes the entire time. It’s strong, too - just a couple sprays and you’re set for the day. No need to gas the room. This works just as well for daytime as it does in the evening and honestly feels seasonless, though I’ll probably reach for it most in spring thanks to those green, fresh opening notes. It’s really, really nice. Like, I’m-still-sniffing-my-wrist-while-writing-this nice. I got a decant of it, and once I catch it at a good price, a full-size bottle is absolutely joining my collection.

This is beautiful....Woody, sweet and airy. It is a masculine leaning fragrance, very mass appealing and it has so much depth. I find that it’s more sweeter on clothes and it last longer on clothes than on skin (on clothes I get 6-8 hrs, with arm length projection). On skin it’s more creamy and depending on skin chemistry you can expect 3-4 hrs of projection, with skin scent lasting around 5-6hrs. The more I wear I the more I enjoy this scent.

I can't compare this to any other fragrance that I have ever smelled. It's definitely a clean masculine smell. I would not recommend this for females. Performance is very average and I don't think this smells like YSL at all. I honestly can't compare it because it's different than anything I've smelled or owned. Performance is not good either. I got it from discounter so it wasn't a total loss but I wouldn't recommend it or buy it again.

One of amourouds easy mass appealing scents. Sage, tonka/cardamom & some white florals. If you can get this on the cheap it’s a nice addition. Have received compliments on this. Very nice green freshie.
