Oud Tabac

This is a Great Fragrance, Modern, Elegant, Classy, Smoky, Spicy, Tobacco and Complex. It is not similar to Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille , The Opening is the same but the dry down is different. I bought it blind-buy after reading the positive comments and I watched reviews on YouTube with reasonable price. It opens up with a bit sweet warm spicy , smoky , Resinous notes and Tobacco in the background then dry down is semi sweet, smooth, warm spicy, vanilla , balsamic resinous and ambery. There is a Medicinal Smoky vibe undertone between the opening up to the dry down. The Agarwood (Oud), Labdanum , Olibanum and Tobacco notes are dominant in this perfume. I fell in love with it at first sniff and I really enjoy it when the weather is very cold. If you like TOBACCO and OUD STYLE SCENT, This one is for you. Amouroud Oud Tabac is Suitable for the fall and winter. Longevity is good. Highly Recommend. Two Thumbs Up Bravo Monsieur Ilias Ermenidis ! Rating : 8.5 / 10

Clearly Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille will aways be the crest of the wave and the high water mark to which other fragrances similar to this, will be judged. The opening is dried fruits and honey with a deep cherry tobacco and vanilla...yeah...I told ya! The accord is clearly of comparable quality but I guarantee I could tell the difference between this and TF TV as something seems smoother, less brash, could be the oud and saffron Lux’ing it up a bit but it doesn’t have the heft either in the Tobacco or the vanilla. However, make no mistake this is not like a ‘weaker’ One I could think of Phaedon Tabac rouge prehaps it’s more like that Parfums de Marly one? (Name escapes me) a reimagining, progressing subtley differently. I have TV so ultimately this is redundant to me but it’s long lasting and cheaper per ml than TF so worth checking out for fans who want to save a little.

I read somewhere that this perfume smells different depending on the wearer and even though that might be a bit exaggerated I don’t get the tones people are writing here. I definitely get oud and tobacco. Is it Ensars oud oil? Hardly, but I’m guessing a blend of non-funky/barnyard oud mixed with synthetic oud. Deeply woody but withoud the depths that you get from the really good ones. However very few, if any bigger houses have top quality oud in them. This is good enough for a perfume like this. This is far from as sweet as say Tobacco Vanille (Tom Ford) for example. I think they balanced the sweetness pretty good on this one. The tobacco is good! Mixes well with the rest. If anything more stands out it would be saffron for me. A must if you are into tobacco scents!

I'm still not so impressed with the opening yet. Opening seems pretty subdued to me, it doesn't open up the needed opening notes, seems kinda muted on my skin, was expecting more projectivity in the opening but it was just ok. However, it's quite a balanced opening, The saffron didn't try to be loud and was well balanced with the rest of the accords. It does not smell like TFTV at all but the opening notes are all there, not too loud, not too powdery. I liked the Mids and drydown alot more. That's when the tobacco and the amberwoods starts to emerge. Becomes a much better scent that deserves the rating. Will give this a few more good wears

If you like TF Tobacco Vanille you will like this, it can be picked up for a lot less money. The opening is a little different, to me TF smells strongly of Tobacco and Vanilla from the opening and dries down the same really, Amouroud is a little more complex to my nose but in the dry down they both smell predominantly of tobacco and vanilla. Great buy, got mine for under 100 pounds in the UK for 100ml and it last ALL day. TF is far more expensive and in my view not as good as Amouroud but the differences are small and the sillage they smell very similar indeed. Great buy for the cold weather...

What a stunning fragrance. I kinda get the comparisons with TFTV, but the dry down is different. Nuclear projection and longevity on my skin. Firstly, the zesty ginger pings straight off the bat. This also has a leathery vibe about it. And I agree with @Thisisali that the vanilla isn’t as prominent (or as well blended as TFTV), but the dry down is still magnificent. I’ve a handful of Amouroud fragrances. This is the best so far. 9.5/10

I have all three roaring radcliff, tobacco vanille and Oud tabac. Oud tabac smells verry different from them. Dont get the resemblance except for the tobacco note. This parfume have a great Tobacco note. If you like tobacco fragrances you might like this.

Heavy on the sweet cherry tobacco leaves. Cedar wood and bright synthetic Oud shine through from the base after the top notes have settled. Hints of vanilla, saffron and coriander are mixed in, the last of the three being the most prominent.

Very spicy tobacco from the ginger mainly, but with sweet background from the vanilla. Great projection and performance. It smells like freshly made niche fragrance.

My first try of the house of Amouroud, Oud Tabac is a pleasant blend of oud, woods, vanilla, and spices, offering balanced amounts of each of these categories. While the dry down for me is quite spicy, the opening is where most of the intriguing notes (saffron, heliotrope, coriander, ginger) are contained. I still detect some mix of these in the dry down, particularly the coriander and ginger. Yet the blend is simultaneously sweet, a strong bourbon vanilla pairing with the oud and cedar/sandalwood group, almost a spot-on formula for a unisex winter winner. Performance is good, not exceptional, but it boasts a pretty good mix of projection and longevity, expected of such notes. Retail pricing (via Osswald) is $200 for 100ml, not bad, but at that price, I expect to be wowed just a little more than I am by it. I suspect this will be beloved by many, though--a solid unisex sweet/spicy/woody oud scent. 7 out of 10

The initial blast of tobacco in the opening is much sweeter than I was expecting. Not necessarily in a bad way, just an unexpected way. The tobacco overwhelms the oud, so you should expect it to lean in that direction. In the deep dry drown, the vanilla almost overtakes the tobacco in strength. In fact, I think it does edge it out. Other notes become slightly more prominent as well, but I'm having a little difficulty separating them. I don't detect any ginger at all, but there's a soothing, airy heliotrope scent dancing beneath the vanilla and tobacco. If you get right up next to your skin and dig deep, the fragrance is truly exquisite. The dry down is where the magic lies. Overall, it's an extremely smooth, calming fragrance once it settles down. I see this as perfect for spring. I agree that this is very different from TF TV. I like TV and do wear it, but I actually think this has a better, richer dry down.

Tobacco Vanille is nothing like this. It's ridiculous. They're like the sun and the moon. What do they have in common? They're both planets, and that's about it. So are Oud Tabac and Tobacco Vanille, they're both fragrances and that's about it. People say things without actually having smelled what they're talking about. Oud Tabac is a sweet dark cherry incensy light-tobacco fragrance. Tobacco Vanille is a heavy, nauseous, punch-in-the face vanille, honey and tobacco fragrance. I prefer Oud Tabac anytime. Classier. I bought this s month ago, lacks longevity for now, maybe needs maceration, but it's intense. Oud is note a main note in it's lifespan to my nose, I can't detect oud unless i really try and concentrate about it, it's overshadowed by the dark cherry, saffron and sweet incense notes. An interesting tobacco scent. Oud Tabac is a fruity, tobacco scent that is, thankfully, minimal on the sweetness. It's woody, ambery tobacco with a dried-fruit-like fruity accord, and and oriental vibe from the oud. However, this is not an "oudy" fragrance. The end scent is a soft, woody, mildly sweet-and-fruity, slightly powdery, tobacco scent. It does smell like Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. Also it does smell like a cross-over between Spicebomb and Mancera Red Tobacco. Overall, Oud Tabac is another gourmand tobacco scent that is mature, beautiful, and suitable more of the cooler days. Big "Like".

My fav. Tobacco perfume. Notes stay all the time its amazing well blended scent. It does not stays long on me 40 minutes max. Even thou I still like it. It reminds me Middle East..Abu Dhabi.. Dubai... Oman.... Doha its a really nice scent. I have no problem to use it hot dry summer in Europe.

This smelled more like almond than tobacco, but it is actually surprising how much almond and tobacco smells have in common. After a while the almond becomes more tabaccy. It is a nice combination with the oud, but definitely not for everyone as it is very unusual. Try first.

It’s a better version of tobacco vanille. The projection is monstruous. It’s more natural and complex than TV and the price is better. Buying tom ford can be a statement but this one is just better imo. Btw- this DNA is not my jam.

Is a nice perfume. Great for a dressy event or fancy night date. I liked it best when it dries but it may be headache inducing for some people.

Rounder, nicer, sweeter than Tobacco Vanille. I much prefer Oud Tabac. Great night scent

#1055 in my "Tour de Fragrance" There are so many killer tobacco fragrances out there. Which I think is best on any given day is very much a matter of mood. "C for Me" by Clive Christian. Ana Kus "This Ember." Tiziana Terenzi "Ursa." Amouage "Opus XIV Royal Tobacco." Remy Latour "Cigar." Tom Ford "Tobacco Vanille." And the best of them all, the sadly discontinued (curse you L'Oreal) Thierry Mugler "A*Men Pure Havane." I'm not adding this one to the lineup, though it's a nice scent, especially in the opening where mild tobacco, heliotrope and frankincense come through. But throughout the day, though the frankincense remains, it's mostly a cedar "pencil shavings" experience. Okay, but pretty much a one note thing, and when cedar is the one note it smells cheap to me. Those of you who didn't grow up sharpening pencils in grade school may not feel the same. Amouroud has become one of my favorite brands. So far they're seven out of nine with me. "Noir Illumine" is too feminine for my taste, but still a great scent for women. This scent is nice, but just loses its complexity too quickly for me. But I still have another half dozen to try out!

Very, very spicy, it's loud, and it's a statement maker. Super prominent herbal, almost medicinal smelling tobacco. Like it smells like it would be in the same caliber of medicinal-ness as like eucalyptus ointment, not necessarily in a bad way. I like animalistic oud, but the oud here is the deep woody kind. Other than the oud and tobacco, I pick up on the saffron and various other spices. Performance is superb, as expected from a frag of this kind, it lasts long, and it bounces off my skin well. If you are into frags like this, go for it, but speaking personally, I'd have a hard time deciding for an occasion to wear this, especially when compared to other frags I prefer.

Not yet sure how I feel about this one. The opening smells more like cough syrup than tobacco. Like @coilover2005 said, medicinal. I don't get the skanky oud -- I don't really get much woodiness, really. More strangely, the mid and dry down smell like smoky black licorice. I don't really get any tobacco. Maybe I need to let the bottle sit for a few weeks/months and see how it matures. For now, it's a head-scratching "ok." I can't think of a single occasion in which I'd want to smell like this.

I get a little Oud, a little spice and perhaps a touch of tobacco leaf. All in all nondescript. This belongs in the designer aisle not the niche. The best that can be said is I finished the decant.

Whoever says this is similar to TFTV needs a new nose. I have TFTV and this is nowhere near it. This stuff smells cheap. Save your money and get TFTV, instead.

It’s got a heavy oily and deep undertone. If you like an oily feel you could test it, if you don't like that oily ‘texture’, do not blind buy it.

Dnt know why i bought this..most of the time it smelled like shoe polish to me...

First 10 minutes... YOU'RE NOT WORTHY! Trust me, I wasn't either! HEAVY OUD DUDE! Medicinal, to say the least. Super stinky. Super Manly. What else did you expect!? 15 minutes in: You might be worthy. Everything is slowly blending to please your peasant sensory. It's honestly nice at this point. Still might make a coyote roll over and submit to your manliness with 2 blasts of this bad boy. 25-30 min in: Elegant, beyond the understanding of mysterious. Yup...somehow the funk has subsided. You're definitely worthy to wear this Fragrance if you haven't washed it off and you're not some kind of SISSY BOY!!!!! Congratulations. You've entered a BIG BOY SCENT! I'm not going to give details on accords etc. It's listed above. What I will say is you've gotta have a pair and that pair has gotta have a Carhartt sweatshirt with 2 years of blood sweat and tears and a divorce under it's hoodie before you're worthy of wearing this! It's spectacular for the men that eat uncooked Uncle Ben's Brown Rice for Breakfast. I absolutely love it!

A very well put together perfume, classy and elegant, non linear, wonderful stages. My only issue with it is the salty dry down, I'm not sure where that's coming from, maybe some molecules are used, but it's there, and it's not a happy ending. It's like going on a first date with a beautiful lady, you're enjoying every detail and at the last 5 minutes she shows you a huge red flag and you know there's going to be no second date. The vanilla isn't prominent in the dry down. Not alternative to tobacco vanille, the only resemblance is the tobacco accord used. Opening is heavy on the ginger, so you gotta love ginger to appreciate it. Sample before you buy.

Another Amouroud "Oud" that doesn't smell like oud. I'd bet my life that they don't use OUD in any of their fragrances. That's neither here nor there. My impression of Oud Tabac is an almost sickly sweet cherry accord with a dry tobacco and a very creamy woody undertone. The whole composition smells oddly synthetic to my nose and slightly off-putting. I prefer a more natural smelling oud/tobacco. It doesn't last as long as people are boasting either. Truthfully it's an 7-8 hour fragrance with moderate projection. I got my bottle for $100 don't pay more than that for this, it's not worth anywhere near retail!

Oud Tabac by Amouroud is a standout for anyone who loves rich, bold fragrances. From experience, it opens with a heavy tobacco note that’s smoky and a bit sweet, immediately grabbing attention. The oud here isn’t overpowering but adds a deep, resinous warmth that balances the tobacco perfectly. Projection is strong at first, easily filling a room without becoming overwhelming, then it settles into a more intimate vibe. Longevity is excellent—this one easily sticks around for 8 to 10 hours, maintaining its complexity the whole time. It’s a confident, sophisticated scent with a luxurious feel.

Lowkey delicious smelling grainy, full flavor tobacco. I like this a lot. Would recommend for anyone who wants to upgrade from the usual sweet dark designer fragrance. Try to find this for at least half of retail tho. It’s incredibly unique and worth the money but it’s not MIND BLOWING. It ain’t the niche version of TF Tobacco Oud but it’s fire fr.

It seems like the perfumer just threw all those notes in without blending. So you get them all at once and in a very annoying way. Oud is a strong note and tobacco is a strong note. In this one it’s a disaster. Try first

"Oud Tabac" is a blend of spices, woods and musky-vanillic base notes! I'd want to wear this during cold night outs or chilly, rainy mornings. Good stuff I must confess 😁 Still testing its overall performance...

Oud Tabac is the type of guy who tries to get your attention in the tackiest way possible. He dresses ridiculously flashy, is insanely loud, and chews gum like a goat 🐐. He doesn’t seduce—he steamrolls you.
