Very citrusy with some ginger, but not as much wood. Really like this one

I quite like the & Other Stories fragrances, but this one is probably my favourite. Although the sillage and longevity is poor, there is something I really enjoy about this green, citrusy fragrance. I’m guessing the wood in the name is referring to the agarwood (oud) note. This is light and fresh, so perfect for warmer days and I carry the Arabesque Wood perfume oil to top up a few times throughout the day. I wouldn’t say I’m head over heels for Arabesque Wood but I like it enough to spray it here and there.

I tried the perfume oil in this and all I get is lime and then a woody dry down but very muted. Initially smells just like a mojito, lasting power is terrible. I could only minimally smell the woody dry-down on my wrist, at 5 minute mark. It is also leans to unisex to me but the dry down gives it depth just a shame about the longevity, sillage is intimate. With perfume oils I prefer a strong sillage and a lasting fragrance that lingers and I can apply it in drops to body butter or put on pulse points. Will be passing on my bottle.

It reminds me of Mixed Emotion by Byredo! In my opinion, it's a very complex fragrance, with different notes, layers and accents.... sometimes I smell something like cigar mixed with a little bit of mint/eucaliptus essential oils (???)... I don't know, it's very weird! I don't like it...

I blind bought the perfume oil and it smells exactly like Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. Disappointed!
