Fleur de Mimosa

I got a perfume oil in the & Other Stories about two years ago. I tried the perfume oils there randomly and this caught my attention. I really loved it. I used it for almost a year every single day. I finished the bottle but I still love it so much. I even sniffed on the empty bottle yesterday because I missed the scent. Mainly it's the mimosa flower. Delicate, soft, and feminine. I tend to keep sniffing because it's addictive.

Such a unique yet palatable, balanced scent. Fresh, sweet yet clean, has a vintage woody "I live on a sailing boat" (I just completely made that up) feel to it. It feels high end to me, even though it's not. This was my signature fragrance during high school, and I wanted to repurchase since my last bottle has long since been empty. Excited to start wearing it again and make new memories with it.

Mmmmm...! Smells so lovely. On clothes there’s very prominent note of jasmine, but like super realistic: it takes you to jasmine bushes on a warm May evening. Incredible. Overall, very lovely perfume, soft, but lasting, delicate but prominent, not screechy at all, although very flowery. Simply very good composition!

I bought the perfume oil a while back but I couldn’t smell it whatsoever on me! I’d like to try the EDT. I have used the body lotion which is lovely

This is such a good dupe of La Tulipe! Really impressed by this.

Fresh, sweet, smells like spring and sun. I tested the body spray, and the longevity was quite good - about 3 hours.

it itches my need for a mimosa scent, but reminds me of laundry detergent, in a bad way. i should just take the plunge and buy the atelier des fleurs by chloe, mimosa

Fleur de Mimosa is simple: The heavy smell of mimosa conveys a soft, light, sunny and airy feeling (not neccesarily "fresh"! This perfume can be quite strong at first). Like a walk in the mimosa forests of the Provence and Côte d'Azur in spring time. The adjectives that come to mind are floral, feminine and elegant. Not a boring perfume, but very simple and well blended.

My absolute favourite from Other Stories perfumes line. This reminds me of freshly laundered sheets or laundry detergent, like another mimosa-focused fragrance, Boldly Seoul by Zara Jo Malone. The flowers here are fresh and slightly sharp/green with fruity sourness. The jasmine note is not indolic like in other fragrances I have.

Very similar to La Tulipe by Byredo! I like it a lot, green & floral, not sweet. Makes me think about spring & summer, giving lightness and airy vibes.

Like others have said before, very similar to Byredo La tulipe! But in my opinion a lot heavier. May be the amber note..?
