Sardonyx Fire

Wow really didn’t expect to like this as much as I do! I sampled all the fragrances on offer. Ended up spraying this, Arabesque Wood, and Sicilian Sunrise at different points on my wrists. This was by far the best and longest lasting– definitely the most interesting. It starts off fruity and mysterious. I get the guava most of all, some deep floral notes that definitely includes the rose, and what must be the amber. It’s surprisingly refreshing! Not what I expected from the notes or reviews. Luckily I don’t get any vanilla. I don’t find it particularly feminine leaning at all. I bought the body mist (a cool £6 for 50ml!) and it’s great. Also bought the candle (also great!) and a body wash and scrub combo on sale.

To me, this smells like a walk on a hot summer's day. The florals meld well together but jasmine does dominate along with rose which mellows it. The backdrop is a warm, soft vanilla that is slightly smokey. I feel that it could be a unisex scent as it has both warmth and depth. This lasts all day on my skin but has limited sillage. I wore this on my wedding day and every time I wear this I think of that. I think this is now discontinued but I've been impressed with all of the scent offerings from &other stories and would recommend checking them out. Edit: in store today 07/09/20 and this and most of the other scents from &other stories are back. Hurray!

It starts off with a fresh clean leather smell, and transform to somewhat sweeter, fresher and more complex. Thinking about it, it smells like a really clean store filled with leather products. Like a bazaar in Turkey, with those really bright fluorescent lamps in the ceiling. I don't feel like it stays on clothes or skin too long, which to me is a good thing. Suitable for fall and evening. I've gotten compliments from both men and women on this one. Really good price. I bought in in the smaller light plastic bottle to keep in my bag. Good for a quick pick-me-up-spray, since it needs to be re-sprayed during the day/night.

I remember trying the roll-on oil one in their shop in Milano and immediately falling in love. I had to have it! I went on and got everything: hand cream, body lotion, roll-on oil perfume and this which is an eau de toilette. Being an edt it won’t last that long so I make sure to put on the body lotion first, put the oil on my pulses and behind my ears and then spray the edt pretty much everywhere. This way it stays on forever and gets all the attention it deserves. It is a real compliment magnet: unique, sensual and sophisticated, unlike anything I have smelled before.

Let me tell you how I got introduced to this: My aunt had the hand cream version so I just tried it. I IMMEDIATELY FELL IN LOVE. I was like "THIS IS ME IN A SCENT". Read the description: notes of dark amber, wild vanilla and hints of bloom. SPOT ON. this is exactly what I want to smell like. The amber and vanilla are my addictions... I am "fiery" personality, full of passion, and the whole thing just clicked with me. I instantly ordered the EDT and roller! This might become my signature.

I absolutely love this fragrance. To me it smells warm, definitely can smell vanilla and amber, don’t really notice any of the flower notes. The UK stories website says it’s out of stock but it’s available offline in shops! So, at least in the UK, it’s not discontinued.

This sounds terrible based on the notes, but I actually really love it 😍😍😍 Very long lasting. One spray goes a long way. I can smell the rose and vanilla.

Smells exactly like KVD Sinner but without the KVD label and guilt lmao. Hate KVD but loved this scent! Now you can enjoy without guilt.

Woody and warm. Definitely fireplace / bonfire / log cabin vibes. Unisex, slightly masculine leaning in my opinion.

Sweet floral, spicy, warm, yet inoffensive and wearable. Smells like luxury. Safe blind buy.

Absolutely love this EDT and the body lotion

I love the smell, it is unique, rich and a compliment getter. However, it has started to produce small particules on the bottom of the bottle and I feel like the smell started turn a bit off. This is not the only one I have from the brand, my other perfume also turned very quickly(not even within a year) I have 100+ perfume bottles and I preserve them in a dark and humid free environment. Never had a similar issue before 🤷🏻♀️

Got the rollerball version of this and the rose is definitely what comes through the strongest for me. To me, it's a very deep, complex, modern rose scent. I like wearing it under The Lost Chapter, which is another And Other Stories limited edition scent that's spicy and very androgynous, leaning almost masculine, and it helps to extend the longevity and make it more feminine, but I'm not mad about it by itself.

The rose here is incredibly similar to the rose in Florabotanica, it actually reminds me quite a lot of it. Rosy, but green. Very natural, almost dirty (in a good way). I really enjoy the complexity of it, its vibe is dark academia and mystery, i.e not office friendly. Performs pretty well for an edT.

I have the body mist and it's VERY perfumey. I would be careful to not over-spray this (headache warning). I do love it though and it's very warm and yummy! It smells like an expensive perfume. Definitely more of a night-out scent.

I found this much more prominently Rose and Jasmine to me which was disappointing- I was hoping the other notes would be stronger. I ended up using it as a bathroom spray which I prefer. Its a nice scent, just not my taste for wearing on my body.

It's a nice smelling perfume, but I would not use it on a daily basis, it's very sweet and you get tired of it

This smells like when your nose bleeds and you taste it in your mouth. Smells cheap and I do not get any warm scent from it even after it settles on my skin. I am disappointed since I was looking for a cozy woody perfume. Smells like metallic rose soap.
