Tan d'Epices

This very potentially may be the "next big winter fragrance" A beautifully crafted, well blended, incredibly smooth composition that mangages to feel both familiar and comforting while also pulling off being completely unique and special. How is tobacco not listed? Cinnamon, Spicey, smokey, woodie, and sweet without being cloying......magnificent Longevity, projection, and Silliage are above average. This winter, While everyone is dusting off their bottles of Musc Ravageur and Tabacco Vanille, you would be wise not to overlook this one. You are officially now "in the know" You're Welcome:-) The reviewer above said gingerbread mixed with Big Red Bubblegum I totally get that.

This has to be one of the BEST incense fragrances I have got my nose on EVER. The 100ml bottle is the best deal of course, but this juice is strong and will last on skin for 12 hours no problem and on clothes until washed probably. Its airy too , so it's going to get you noticed but not in a bad way as it just smells amazing and not headache inducing to non fragrance lovers. The incense, cinnamon and gingerbread combo is amazing, it reminds me a freshly rolled high end cigar leaf in a high end cigar box or humidifier. 10/10 best incense frag ever made If EVERYONE had a chance to smell this, it would be the next biggest scent ever to be dropped

It is now definitely in my top 10 spicy fragrance list. I've got to admit I was a bit worried it would be too sweet. It is perfect. Yep the cinnamon rules at first and is closely followed by the incense and gingerbread. Slowly the heliotrope surfaces and manages to hold its ground amongst all the spice. Gradually the cedar and Benzoin appear. Now it smells just like Xmas for me. A dry, yet warm, spicy wood scent. There is no candy sweetness from gingerbread men. Very unisex. Really good! I bought this and the Figue en Fleur and I love them both. Great and unusual line up. The t'espice is sweet and spicy. I know that there are a lot of spiceys to choose from out there but this one is special imo. It's not too heavy and suffocating like a lot of real spicy frags. Maybe the heliotrope is adding a wan sorta lightness. Anyway it is worth a sample try. Can't wait to read others'reviews.

True unisex winter gourmand. I get sandalwood, more than cedar, at the base. Also a prominent fresh tobacco note that I'm surprised is not listed. Looking for something just a hair lighter/more femme, perhaps with a slightly more prominent floral, but I will certainly enjoy the rest of my sample.

Thank you reviewers below!! WOWOWOWOW This is a mix of Big Red and Bubblicious. Chew those two, and the second you get both flavor's exploding, eat a ginger bread cookie. This is liquid sexy and bam!

I most enjoy the drydown of this, though the opening gingerbread cinnamon dominance is nice also. But once that's gone it's a strong peppery incense which lasts for hours.

100ml bottle is on the way.. The 4ml decant was an amazing experience. One of the best in a long long time. On to the next one :)

This is very simple, but interesting. The floral note balances the cinnamon nicely, preventing this from becoming pumpkin pie. The incense also helps to keep this drier than most spicy bombs. I don't smell the cedar, but the benzoin in the base is prominent and earthy. I am unsure of overall longevity and sillage yet, but at the 3 hour mark, I am mostly getting the incense and the benzoin. I got this as a sample from LuckyScent. If this were a bit cheaper, I might get a FB.

Hot day on the spice market. Dense but not heavy, with just enough sweetness, that makes me want to eat it (if I could :). Well crafted. Gorgeous.

interesting, not as expected... expectation was a sweet spicy slightly charred gingerbread... outcome, initially, a slightly tangy, waxy, woody incense, which triggered memories of Tauer perfumes. an hour later, slightly sweetened and bit more agreeable. unique in a way but I would not recommend blind-buy for cinnamon and gingerbread gourmand seekers.

I actually thought this must have a fruity heart when I first smelled it. Something like a boiling cinnamon jam (?). It's quite nice and pleasant.

Super syrupy treacly sticky gingerbread cake with a surprisingly punchy woody undertone beneath. A borderline thing for me - it's classy and distinctive and not at all a teeny-sickly-sweety sort of gourmand, but it really is very very heavy on the glycemic index, so for my nose the shrieky sugariness finally pushed me over the edge and I swapped it away. (I am a fan of MFK Baccarat Rouge, so this sort of territory can work / or not work for me depending on the precise balance of sugar to sap... but in the end, Olympic Orchids Woodcut is the one in this sort of area which satisfies me most - still caramelly and sweet as anything but somehow 'cleaner'.) Maybe it's the heliotrope which just makes Tan d'Epices a little too cloying for me overall. But the mix of aromatics in this is truly impressive - the cinnamon's particularly well done. Can be found very well priced and longevity is solid. Strong strong like without making it all the way to a love.

9 - When I opened the tester my first thought was "it smells like IKEA" but luckily, once I transferred it to a spray and put it on, there was a powdery elegance to it. The cinnamon fades into the background quickly, which is good because my skin does funky things to that note usually, and then the incense and floral gets hyped up. One of the better benzoins I've come across. More subtle and resinous than normal. Not getting any gingerbread. 10 - It settled into a dusty, tobacco-y, woodsy gourmand and that sounds awful but I'm genuinely enjoying it. 1 - skin scent. I like it but I can see how it isn't for everyone.

Totally pleasant simple little winter gourmand. Its cinnamony gingerbread with a slightly smoky incense and a floral note overtop making it a bit more wearable as a fragrance instead of a candle or something. Not a whole lot to say as it stays very linear. If this sounds like it might appeal to you, it will. As for me, I like it but i prefer a little bit of edge to my spicy fragrances and could see myself getting a bit bored of it as opposed to something like CdG original. 7/10

I received a sample of this & it's a wonderful concoction of cinnamon, sharp/smoky incense, ginger and stewed/dried fruits. Would wear this every day in winter. Would be enjoyed by fans of Donna Karan Black Cashmere and Kerosene Sweetly Known. DM me if you're in the US and have a full or partial bottle you'd like to sell!

honey, rosy floral, vanilla, nutmeg, ambery incense but not smoky, at times fruity like black currant, very sweet reminds me of Obsession medium projection
