Pop pour Femme

Bought a big (100 ml), surprisingly reasonably priced (ebay) bottle as a gift for my Andy Warhol-loving BFF. It was a blind buy; my BF and I had to be sure it was worthy of her, so we gave it a test sniff. We both found it wonderful - a light, lighthearted, sweet, smile-inducing, fruity symphony that's somehow so sophisticated and elegant it's neither kid stuff (we're in our 50s) nor gourmand. The fruit and flowers dance together with a "more than the sum of its parts" blend. The rose, cherry, and tiare create a lovely, harmonious chorus without recognizable individual voices. The sandalwood and musk create a warm, lush, grounding base. While far from uncommon and unfamiliar, the ingredients used are obviously very high quality, and the base notes are also beautifully blended together. They add depth, and the inability to easily untangle and identify them generates mystery and elegance. This is a spring-y, summery scent, but one who would provide optimism during sad, sweater-y autumn, & gloomy, gray winter. It's got a bright daytime vibe, but I'll wager its darker elegance is amplified by evening's arrival, with that sandalwood coming to the fore. We gave it to my BFF during a party. She loved everything about it - the box, the bottle, and for a while after having sniffed at the bottle, she made happy/impressed noises instead of saying actual words 😻 She sprayed a tiny bit on one arm, and we loved it even more. A while after we'd both wandered back into the party, I smelled something wonderful off & on, and realized it was the Warhol. I asked her whether she'd applied more. She said that yes, she *had* to, she loves it. She even messaged me the next day to thank us again, and to say she could still smell it when she woke up! I'm very glad she's so happy with it. 😻 My own bottle would be nice 😉 😻 14/10 Perfect pinkly present for any Warhol worshiping woman. Feminine, fun, unusual, unconventional, stylish, sophisticated.

This has always smelled so sour on me but I kept trying to wear it anyways and always scrubbing it off cuz it's just way too sour. Well one day I had left it on cuz I had to quickly run to the grocery store. I'm a slow shopper so as I shopped, my body heat turned on and up... Which turned on the fragrance! I started wondering what was smelling so yummy in the grocery store... I tried following the scent from aisle to aisle wanting to discover what this yummy scent was. I finally realized that it was me!!! It was the perfume I was wearing! It is one of those scents that develops, transforms, and is very rich! It needs body heat and chemistry to do it's thing. I like those kind of perfumes! But it still doesn't smell good close up. It's the wafts I get that are so sweet, succulent, pillowy cherry cloud. And it wears best in the winter weather. Oh and does not smell like cherry in the air at all. Cherry in the air is nutty, gingerbread cherry warm and soft. This is bright, magenta, balloons, white wings in the clouds, cherry lipstick, and it's strong in your face cherry. I love this sleeper! It's basically "Lisa Frank".

I love this, very similiar to Cherries in the Air.. a sweet yet tart cherry with light sandalwood and musk. As it warms up the florals come out, a very nice rose (and I'm very picky about rose scents) and the tiara flower. I'm not sure why its classified as oriental as it doesnt seam so to me, I get a good 12 inches of sillage and Pop last 8 to 10 hours on me which is very rare.

This is a really lovey cheapie! I got a whole 30ml on eBay for only $7usd. It opens up very fruity and sour, exactly what I was looking for. The scent is a realistic dark sour, like opening up a jar of morello cherries. The drydown is very nice, the cherry tones down and gets a bit creamier and the creaminess is well supported by the musk and sandalwood with delicate tiare, soft in the background, giving it dimension. I almost expect it to have vanilla as well, but it does not, which makes it interesting, though I do want to layer it with vanilla sometime, I think it would layer very well. Sillage is moderate, longevity is decent at around 6-7 hours for me. I think it's best for spring and summmer, but could work for any time of year. The scent itself ultimately isn't super unique or exciting, reminds me of something I would find as a body spray at BBW, but for the price and with the exciting bottle, I'm definitely going to keep this one in my collection. It's a great daytime cheapie that I don't have to think too much about.

very casual and pleasant scent. Begins with a pretty intense cherry burst, calming down into a noticeable sandalwood and rose background. Occasionally I can get whiffs of tiare as well. Silage and Longevity are moderate, no less than many other middle of the road fragrances. I've been in a sweet mood lately, though preferring dark, exotic and spicy scents, so have been trying out some of the sweeter offerings for that sugar and candy mood. I continued to get the powdery cherry scent for several hours without having to smell my skin, seemed to finally settle into a skin-smell about 6 or so hours later, though still very noticeable close to the skin. Certainly worth a place in your wardrobe if you like these type of scents, not too sweet and not too flowery, just clean powder and cherry. Great for casual and inoffensive use.

Oh boy oh boy! I really do like this fragrance. I don't detect the sour cherry in it though.....that is a surprise, but I did get a very creamy dry down and an uplifting scent that actually smells like a lime/citrus (guess that is the cherry scent). I got two of them banded for TT20 so I decided to make good on the shoppertunity. My mother said she loved it, that it smelled delicious! I did not get the rose either, but all together its a very beautiful fragrance that is not in any way obnoxious or over flowery. Very good for the sporty woman in me I think.

It shouldn't be called "POP pour Femme" but "NASTY CHERRY"! First of all : I really like the bottle. But unfortunately this fragrance is very cherry-ish and I still don't know : should I love it or should I hate it? On my skin it becomes fruity-oriental with utterly loud sweet and deep cherry; too sweet and too loud. After 30-40 minutes it developes into definetly more pleasant and acceptable combination of cherry(again!) & sandalwood & musk. It's perfect for hot, sexy night or cold winter.

Playful and sweet but a little different. This is a good everyday casual scent. Someone compared this to Betsy Johnson and I think it’s similar although Betsy Johnson is a bit darker and more marshmallow-y. This was well worth the $6 I paid for it! Cherries, white flowers, sandlewood- what’s not to like.? It has the silage and staying power of a body spray on steroids. Perfect for a casual job or running errands.

For Andy Warhol fans this bottle is a 'fan piece'. The scent itself, though, is just 'meh'. I wish I could smell all the things other reviewers here are describing. I get a noticeable side-smell of liquorice? Which isn't even listed... No cherry, no rose, no musk... Not sure if my bottle off eBay smells like it should, but based on it I can't recommend it to anyone. Well, only the bottle!!

I got this on a blind buy. After reading the reviews on here about it spelling similar to Cherries In The Air, I thought I'd try it. It didn't sit well on my skin and after about 5 minutes I had to wash it off. I couldn't smell the similarities at all to Cherries in the Air. It smells very cheap to me like a drug store perfume.

Purchased a 50ml bottle of this off eBay and I’m excited to try it. Even if I don’t love it, I do love the bottle and I paid around $10 for it. I’ll be back with an update once I receive it! The color of this bottle is just 😍 I finally received the bottle and it’s so pretty! The juice is very fruity and not unique at all. It’s not bad by any means and it is something I will wear from time to time because it’s easy and the dry down is quite pleasant. Like another commenter said, this is definitely one of those “buy it for the bottle/display” perfumes. I purchased the 1oz on eBay for like $7 so I totally think it’s worth it, and I’m happy with my purchase! I also got one for my mom, who is a huge fan of cool antique bottles and pretty bottles in general. She loves it! Her birthday is around the corner and I keep giving her all her gifts early. I’m the worst when it comes to that! I’m so glad she loves it though!

Andy Warhol's Pour Femme is totally a sweet sugared cherry bomb! It smells quite delicious. This fragrance does start out quite strong and a little loud with the cherry. Eventually it does calm down. Pour Femme becomes more creamy and a soft sandalwood and musk combination starts to emerge. There are also some rosey undertones in the fragrance. The cherries never quite disappear, but that is okay with me because I feel like they are the star of this show. This is a fun fragrance it actually puts a smile on my face every time I get a good whiff of it. If you are looking for sweet cherries then give this one a try! (^_^)b P.S. It is quite powerful so try not to overspray! XD

A major blast of cherry at first spray, but as it dries down it becomes cherry wrapped in rose. This continues for about 30 minutes and then settles into a sweet/tart cherry resting on creamy tiare and sandalwood. At first it's too sweet, but eventually it becomes quite creamy and musky and much more adult. If you give it a chance it's actually quite sexy, but not vulgar. I prefer it for spring/summer evenings. It's a bit too bright for colder weather.

Well first of all to me this smells nice i dont hate it but im not too crazy fan of it either. This perfume remind me and smells kind of the same to Betsey Johnson!, im not sure if im the only one who can pick the same smell. But yeah to me they both smells exactly, this one smells more like candiesh and betsey smells like fruity but when they settle they turn exactly as twins, i dont know thats how i see it.
