Blueberry Forest

I did NOT like this fragrance on first sniff. All I got was powdery musk! But after letting it sit for a few months, the blueberry has come forward and it's lovely! The musk is much less intense and I get a blueberry forward, sweet, powdery scent that it's childish. The blueberry is rich and realistic and not candy.

My first Anfar product. Unfortunately I was pretty let down with the quite musky ‘Blueberry Forest.’ I had my eye on their ‘Cotton Candy’ offering since it came out, but held off due to reviews confirming my fears of its scent being more floral and non reflective of the namesake. I adore a Blueberry note and being that they’re kind of a rarity, I was eager to grab this when it released. Simply Blueberry hair care products. Fresh and sweet, but also flat and uninspiring. Looking at the notes, I was expecting something alot like ‘Uhud.’ In the flesh this reminds me of ‘Zahri Amara’ except that has an intriguing tea aspect and smoother blend. This is finally on here and ready to log, but I’ve tried making it work for months; I’m just not interested anymore. Being so shampoo like makes it a lovely shower perfume atleast. 😅

Musky orris and berries, the fruity note in here is very synthetic especially in the opening. It has a good sillage and longitivity. But it's a no.

Not impressed. I let it sit now for 2 months, still no blueberry. More honey, musky, a bit smokey. The perfume does not stay in my memory. Nothing special - more masculine leaning.
