Zenit Rouge

Very beautiful intense perfume. It's sweet honey and tobacco mainly, and I get a tiny bit of oud at the base. I don't get much of the coconut. For me it's unisex leaning feminine. Suitable for cold weather.

The opening is just ass and confusing as hell, you will spend 2 straight minutes trying to decipher wtf you even got on your wrist, it smells as if beetlejuice tried to make an oud fragrance combined with nail polish acetone. for a split second all of that stops and it suddenly smells like beautiful forest fruit flavor sour candy, then it all goes back to as described above. coconut is hardly to be found. the only two positives here are that you can find this for less than 25€ and the fact its an extrait, nothing else giving it a week to mature otherwise its going back edit (february 28): sold lol

8/10: Might be a clone of Tobacco Honey by Guerlain, although the notes do not line up 1:1, so it's most likely a twist. I was blown away by this bottle design alone. It's beautiful and expensive-looking. The scent is smooth, sweet honey and tobacco with oud to balance it out. Nothing in the fragrance is screeching or stands out. I find the fragrance a bit boring/simple because of that, as if something is missing. It smells Arabic and leans slightly feminine. I like the fragrance fine, but my sister loves it, so it might be better suited for women. Strong projection for 2 hours, average for 4 hours, and skin scent for 4 more hours. I have layered this with Rasasi Hawas Elixir to add back the honey and tobacco that is missing from Hawas Elixir compared to Le Male Elixir. The added chocolate note in Hawas Elixir also combines well with the oud in Zenit Rouge, so I might exclusively wear these two fragrances as a layer. It's amazing.
