Anfar doing with Absolu d'Orient what Anfar does best: keep +/- 70% of an iconic DNA, add their own unique oriental spicy twist, blend it all together in a very smooth composition and make it beast mode while keeping it very affordable (you can find 115ml for less 30 Euros). Personally I like this approach much more than all the brands that try make 1 to 1 copies and too often just smell like cheap and weak wannabe's. Very versatile, very addicting, 9.6/10! p.s.: 'Summer in Dubai' by Anfar is also very good if you are looking for a hot weather fragrance.

The real notes are Top:nutmeg,cinnamon,cardamom,grapefruit Mid:lavander,jasmine,bay leaf Base:Sandalwood,Amber,patchouli,oakmoss This is not a clone of anything,but does reminds me of aventus type ish scent.For me this smells like an aftershave which is smooth and well blended with a fruity opening,Very mature manly smell over 30+.If you love aventus type and want to discover something new,this can be great choice.

This is now my signature scent. Perfect for any weather the scent is stunning and the price is ridiculously cheap for a fragrance this high in quality. It's £2O, just buy it and your other fragrances don't matter anymore. It's fresh in the high heat while maintaining a deep masculine spicy edge making it the perfect everyday scent.

It’s a spicy aromatic version of aventus, keeping maybe 50% of the dna. Tolerable quality, totally better than armaf’s ambergris oakmoss birch thing.

Opening is a refreshing pineapple bo0m with citrus notes, which is where it most resembles the Aventus DNA; after 15 minutes, patchouli and oakmoss appear and last til drydown, where it smells smoky and slightly spicy. I have not tried Hacivat so I cannot say, however, I have tried these scents above multiple times; the ones with the strongest earthy oakmoss are Hawas Black and Al Dana Lattafa, while this one (Absolu d'Orient) is very similar to Dumont Celerio Oros from opening to drydown, also having a smoky spicy scent; this one has more earthy oakmoss than Oros, while Oros is a bit spicier when drydown. The notes are very well balanced; no single note overpowers the others, unlike some fragrances that are too spicy or others that have too much oakmoss. I was lucky to blind purchase it on amazonus for $24, 115ml Extrait. Since I just received it yesterday, will probably come back after a few months, but the initial impression right out of the box was already very good. 9/10. The initial impression is it's smooth and in no way inferior to Precieux I in all aspects, will come back in a few weeks; I believe it will develop even better.

I've seen and read reviews of this being similar to the spicier batch of the original formulation of Creed Aventus. I can't really say that it is because I've never smelled any other variation except the current one but I don't see this as being similar to Aventus at all. It doesn't smell great. The note card that came with the fragrance doesn't reflect that of Aventus nor does the fragrance itself give any real Aventus vibe. This is a fairly spicy woody fragrance with a slight grapefruit note and some earthy elements. It's very OLD school masculine but not in the most appealing way. Definitely for the older male crowd. This was a blind buy purchase but it was cheap so I'm not terribly bothered by the loss. I can't really recommend it though.

Ok listen up this isn’t an Aventus clone... It’s Absolu Aventus done via Anfar London’s incredible style. I have tried 3-4 Anfar london compositions and they are all VERY well done and have the unique quality of being more aromatic than their counterparts’ work. Its like the they blend the aroma chemicals in such a way that the whole composition lives in the air around where you sprayed not just in the oils where you sprayed.. As far as how this one smells it took a few months to macerate but it is an absolute winner and compared to absolu Aventus it’s a serious contender, but add in the $30-$40 price tag, and it’s beast mode longevity? And it’s the best deal on this dna you’re gonna find. I’ll put this up against any other absolu Aventus composition any day.
