Mahaba

Opens up with a nice green and semi sweet petitgrain, followed by jasmine and slightly juicy ylang ylang. This blend of top and mid notes makes it somewhat sweet and bright because of the floral. Add the vanilla and tonka bean, and it makes this slightly gourmand but not cloying. Can pass as summer scent but just be careful with the trigger because it may become cloying with too much spray. Better on spring or fall. Not pushing enough for the winter though. Projects strong but still remains pleasant. Leans 70% feminine though.

I am not a huge fan of vanillas, but this one is good. It is cold, transparent, more tonka than vanilla, not cloying and doesn't get sour on my skin. I want a full bottle

Floral fresh, but still powerfull

A clean, soapy, jasmine, citrus, with a touch of vanilla. I do not pick up on the tonka. What a lovely break from the styles I gravitate to. The petitgrain is a nice counter balance to the otherwise feminine leaning fragrance. This is unisex.

Reviewing an official Anfas sample from 2025. Mahaba was launched in 2017. This is a very soapy clean fragrance. Fairly linear. Opens green and slightly citrusy then soapy bitter vaguely floral accord. Faint vanilla and tonka come through at the base. There is no sweetness which is odd as it is listed above as a main accord. I don't get any bergamot, fruitness or coconut. No incense, amber or sandalwood or any of the middle notes listed below. I wonder if this has been reformulated as early reviews from 2017 suggest something quite different . The notes below are taken from the Anfas site - this is not what I am smelling. TOP NOTES: lemon, mandarin, orange, neroli and bergamot. MIDDLE NOTES: Juniper, lavender, ginger,nut,rose incense, leather and oud BASE NOTES: Musk , vanilla, amber and sandalwood Quality- poor to average (all notes expect "soap" seem weak). Unisex- totally- not really any apparent florals. Performance - average - stays close, 2- 3 hour longevity The fragrance does not match with the notes on the Anfas site nor does it correspond to earlier reviews. Reviews from 2025 are accurate for the current production. Very soapy and clean with little depth and lackluster performance. 6/10

Waaaayyyyy to vanilla for me. I absolutely hate vanilla forward scents. Hard pass.

I don't know how often this site updates, but they're missing a lot of notes for this fragrance. You wouldn't even know it's the same fragrance based on what this site lists and what the actual fragrance notes are supposed to be.
