Pirouette

Honestly I didn't expect this one to be good because of it's dislikes.but I always had good experience with angel schlesser so I decided to give it a try and boy I like it This is a unique and intresting scent.a combination of sweet plummy rose,powdery flowers,cacao and vanilla powder and a hint of fruitchouli,it dries down to soft musky florals in a base of light creamy vanilla This is a gourmand,a fruity lipsticky rose,a sweet fruitchouli and a dash of Musky powder at the same time.I agree it's a mishmash,but a mishmash of everything I like in a perfume.powdery in a delicious way I prefer it for cool weather.it's a potent scent,which makes me consider buying it

The name of this perfume evoques ballet, and as such, I was expecting something delicate, gentle, softly floral. But its not, its quite gourmandy, strong and sweeter than expected. I didn't like it, but that is my personal taste, the dry down of cedar, vanilla and patchuli was a bit too much for the hot weather in august in Spain when it was released.

Pirouette is like dancing in ballet not knowing the moves. Or like dancing in ballet wearing high heels. It has very little to do with its name unless that was the meaning - everytime the dancer turns we get different kind of scent. It opens very soapy and kind of sour. Luckily soapiness goes away very quick making space for something sweet and fruity (i can't really say what i'm smelling). Cedar make it smelling a bit masculine to me. Sometimes i get wafts of bitter dark chocolate, other times vanilla comes through faint trace of jasmine. I agree that Pirouette lacks balance, it seems like all the ingredients are just mixed together in a jar without harmony. But that makes it super original and absolutely not generic. Great example of lovely smelling mess. Longevity around 4 hours, sillage strong for about 2 hours and the it gets quiet but not in skin scent way.

Pirouette is a rather soft fragrance on my skin. I'm trying it now on a warm summer day, but I think it suits fall and winter season best. Maybe it will also appear stronger in cooler weather. Mostly I smell a mixture of cacao, rose, iris, orchid, plum, vanilla, musk and a dash of patchouli. Somehow it smells gourmand, yet at the same time it doesn't... if that makes sense. Sometimes it reminds me of liquor filled chocolate bon bons as it has a little boozy quality to it. Nothing extraordinary but nice enough!

Pirouette is a mix of everything really, a bit sharp at first, I detect the cocoa, not sure it mixes in nice with the floral notes though . It is a bit different, hard to fit it into a category though, the scent eludes you a bit,a bit gourmand, a bit floral, it has a cosmetic smell.At first sniff not sure I really like it. a bit messy I will add.

First burst - sharp..due to the patchouli.... after a long time...still patchouli!
