So Essential

First spray...immidiatly got me remember Nina by house of Ricci .This is more tart and strangely enough has no apple note. Ok it might be the fresh opening burst of Nina , that is slightly similar... This is a really pink scent ! Girly , fancy and I would call it flowerfruity rather than chypre. I don' t get a chypre touch. The top notes is nearly making my head ache, but it wears down to a lovely sweetpea and rose, where I mostly notices the sweetpea. The patchoilie and musk remains , they are lets say 75 on the white musk and 25 on the patch so don't be scared of by it. This could be nice for the one looking for a fresh fruity floral this spring, with a lovely trail drydown , wich sometimes are really hard to find. These type of fragrances in some times just lays down and dies after the cocktail is gone. This has a lovely dry down that lasts, too. Could be a good deal getting but since I got both mine from swap with the lovely desireegascon (!) I have no idea of cost or value of such a perfume , nor House. Besides beeing slightly too casual of a perfume I find it rather pretty . Great choice for the fruityflorals out there !

Chypre fruity? No way! It's a really lovely, bright and light fruity floral with sensual, musky drydown. I can detect some sweet, fruity notes, like nectarine and mandarin orange and also a floral note - it's rose of course. It seems to be a typical girlish fragrance, but it has some class, it's not boring. So Essential lasts on my skin for about 4-5 hours, but stays close to me, it doesn't leave any trail. This perfume is perfect for spring/summertime, because it's not overpowering, so it can't give you a headache or nausea, but it can make you feel good.

I bought this perfume only because someone noted that it's similar to My Givenchy and I'm a bit disappointed. It's not unpleasant, but is very generic. It doesn't remind me of My Givenchy at all. While the latter was fruity and you could actually feel that pear, I detect no fruit notes in this one, only sharp citrus, or maybe this is musk? In some way this perfume is very similar to D&G Light blue, same "uriny" smell.

To me this is just a rose scent ..on my skin it starts off as a kinda spicy dirty rose ...then the musk kicks in making it a soft powdery rosy scent ... honestly i dont smell anything except the rose , a hint of patchouli and a soft clean musk ...its everyday spring scent its very soft and not that noticeable
