Tuberosa Nera

@ Ruggine is correct via the official site, where I received my sample from and my nose! Not sure what’s up with the notes listed here. This is mostly what I’m assuming is the geranium on me; an herbal green, slightly bitter-soapy clean freshness? There’s a little tuberose hanging out behind it, but the geranium? overpowers everything else. It’s a green aromatic tuberose that, although absolutely unisex, actually leans a bit male/aromatic cologne-esque. It’s also a very soft; more of a skin scent. I’ve tried A LOT of tuberose, and this definitely gets bonus points for originality. It’s also an impressive “tuberose interpretation” scent; but for wearing personally I prefer more actual tuberose and less “tuberose”. This is a good choice for those poor unfortunate souls who can’t do big tuberose.

This smells unique to me and I recognise the tuberose part thanks to another tuberose scent that I have tried in the past. I wish I could smell the real flower one day because then it would be easier to compare. At first I didn't like this scent at all but over time I have found it quite nice and enjoyable.

I tried this today when looking for a photo realistic tuberose perfume that is not indolic. I already have his magnificent Viola perfume and this is not dissimilar. It is basically a gentle tuberose and sweet violet perfume, almost like Parma violet sweets but without the sugar. It isn’t what I was looking for but it is a beautiful fragrance non the less. I may buy it one day but it isn’t on my radar atm.
