Oud Delight

My mom wore this when I was growing up :) I remember the most distinct note being the bergamot. My mother loved bergamot scents.

Oud Delight was a surprise - this may be the most wearable oud fragrance I've tested so far. It's potent but not overwhelming. And it lacks the brutal punch of other oud bombs. As for other notes, spices and rose are prominent in the opening, with musky drydown. It certainly has a better sillage and longevity than the other AV scents.

مصمم هذا العطر السيد (Christian Provenzano) أطلق عليه لقب "أمير العود" ، و ذلك بسبب إتقانه لهذا الصنف من العطور أيما إتقان ؛ فكلما شاهدت له عطرا من مكوناته الرئيسية "العود" علمت أنه أيقونة بدون أدنى شك و حتى بدون سابق تجربة ، فعطوره أبيح لنفسي إقتناءها بشكل عمياني . و لمن لا يعلم ذلك فهو مصمم معظم عطور بواديسيا دي فيكتوريوس ، عدد لا بأس به من عطور بنهاليغونس و البعض من عطور دار كلايف كريستيان و غير ذلك كثير . تتمتع عطوره من هذه الفئة بفخامة إسثتنائية تحمل بصمته ، فيها بذاخة و إيحاء بالثراء ؛ و كذلك حرفية عالية في الجمع بين إشراقة التوابل و قتامة العود المجمّل بعبير الورد . عطر Oud Delight ؛ أو عود البهجة و السرور ، صمم خصيصا لأولئك الذين يعشقون العود السائغ الأملود هين الإرتداء . يحمل صفات وراثية لأخيه الأكبر Octavian من دار Electimuss و لكن بقوام أخف أكثر قابلية و إرضاءً لشريحة أوسع من الناس دون أن ينقصه شيء من فخامة العود و نخبويته . عطر مغري يبدع في صمت و هدوء ، حاضر و ملفت لمن حوله مع أنه غير خانق أو كاتم لأنفاس صاحبه ؛ فضلا عن إمكانية إرتداءه حتى بأجواء حارة من منظوري الشخصي . أما أجواءه فهي عبارة عن وردة مشرّبة بحمرة ألقت بشذاها في أحضان خليط من البهارات فأغنت و تغنّت بما إرتوت به . حتى إكتسبت بعضاً من طباع كلّ واحد من هؤلاء ، فبينما هي كذلك إذ يغشاها العود بنسماته الدافئة و قد توشّح رداءً مزعفر من صفاته الهيبة و النبل لا ينزعه حتى آخر رمق من حياة العطر .

Dates, saffron, & sweet amber oud It's the usual combination of sweet European style oud that you can find almost everywhere. It has dates, saffron, nutmeg, tonka, sweet amber, cinnamon, olibanum, patchouli, sweet rose, & galbanum. This blend gives me the usual vibes of "Across Sands" by Maison Martin Margiela, & bits of "Sultan Leather" by The Merchant of Venice minus the bitterness Now don't get me wrong, it's beautiful as this is more balanced than the ones similar to it in the market, but remains not that of a revolutionary blend! it's a blend that has been made many times before, so nothing new rather than being smoother and rounder. Nice.

Pretty standard oud-rose-saffron combo. Nothing warm or ambery about this.
