Tudo Azul

When i first saw the name of the blend (as we think in pictures) i directly got the picture of "Cote d'Azur" by Louis Feraud, the one on the box with sunrise, sea, and beginning of the mountain. Without sniffing "Cote d'Azur" i just directly got the idea of "Tudo Azul" to be a bunch of metallic aquatic sea foam, bunch of grapefruit, splash of lemon, and a bitter lime (citrucy in general) & i just don't know why! maybe because of the the name (blue)! or maybe cause the word "Azul", is similar to word "Azure"! maybe cause i don't like the color blue or the color blue is attached with that designer's summer fresh blends that has bitter citrus, sea foam, & metallic aqua! so i left the sample try last. Just now i tried it and i was stunned! Now i am wearing it! EXACTLY, none of what i have mentioned above applied on this! it turned to be an amusing sunrise sensuality on a skin! Oh GOD... I just hope i can translate the feelings i got wearing this SCENE! Here we go: The mild sweetness that covers the hint of lime and pour it on a diluted rum, with hints of orange, & mandarin drenched in perfectly dozed vanilla liquid, while sitting on a table made of old vetiver that you can barely detect any scent from it but you just know that it's hintly there, @ 6:45 am at an unorganized empty beach in end of April, beginning of May. This is the scene that i have witnessed when i wore this blend for the first time! I never liked any fresh, aquatic, summer blends because of it's unbalanced formula, but "Tudo Azul" is just a heavenly scene in a bottle with a picture that i have always wanted to be in! it's spring to summer transition on a sunrise kisses. Unbelievably beauty.

Tudo Azul is a Brazilian Portuguese expression letting you know that it’s allllll good 😌 the literal definition is “Everything is blue” but the term is most commonly used as an idiom letting you know that all is well 🦋 the song I chose to pair with this perfume is “Sunday Candy” by Chance The Rapper. I found it fitting for more than just the fact of it being Sunday, but because the song gives me a Tudo Azul vibe which this perfume is all about! I have been saving this scent because I had bought it specifically for my vacation to Spain that I had planned on taking in this past spring. Everything was NOT feeling Tudo Azul when the world came to a halt seemingly overnight. So I tucked this beauty away, refusing to use it for any other purpose than happy future travels. Recently I’ve been feeling “a little blue” (the diametrically opposed English phrase for Tudo Azul) and I really needed something to cheer me up. I found myself going through my frags looking for a happy, cheerful, laidback scent with some character. Nothing was fitting the bill until I remembered that I stashed this beauty away somewhere and that it might be the remedy to my melancholy. And of course this gem pulled thru!! She smells like really fancy blue sour straw candies with a tropical flair. BIG love for this bubble of brightness. Perfume Realm on insta 💙

I have no idea how the perfumer managed to do it, but this is literally sitting on the beach, soaking up sun, sipping on sugared lime rum cocktail, life is good and you don't have a care in the world, in a bottle. It starts with a citrusy opening, and what's unique is that the citrus continues into and stays throughout the mid, where it melts with the aquatic, sugar, and cachaca notes. I had a hard time trying to find a bottle of this so I got Creed Virgin Island Water since it was suggested as a dupe...it's not. They may have a similar base and both are unisex, but this is much sweeter and I prefer it much more. I'm an undersprayer so I can't speak to sillage. This doesn't have the best staying power, but I don't care, it's that good.

I can’t believe I almost let it go, that would have been mistake of a lifetime. This is gorgeous sugary boozy lime with depth of vanilla. So good, it’s snowy cold winter and this is just absolutely stunning. Don’t get fooled that it’s only for hot summer days. This shines in cold weather in its own gorgeous way, the vanilla in it extra beautiful and lime adds enough freshness from becoming overwhelming like a lot of vanilla fragrance can.

I will definitely remember Tudo Azul as the best from the Anima Vinci sample set. It's an unusually sophisticated citrus scent with boozy undertones. The aquatic vibe is also present and actually balances out the performance. I can imagine this fragrance on someone who loves sports like surfing or sailing.
