Aphrodisiac

This is definitely a sexy night time / date / party fragrance. I smelled it on someone years ago and I quickly asked if she was wearing Dior Addict, the dry down is SO similar, although this is slightly more bitter. As if Gucci guilty and Dior Addict had a baby. It performs like a beast, lasts absolutely ages and projects and leaves a trail! This is attention in a bottle but not in a sweet sickly way, it has class and complexity. It's linear so starts and dries down almost smelling the same, you just lose the citrus note. It smells and performs better than a lot of my designer fragrances. What a hidden gem for peanuts!

To me, this smells a bit like Dior addict, for a fraction of the cost. I have both and I like both. I only recently bought this one so it’s the reformulated version in a new bottle. I have no idea how it compares to older version but it wears well! Leaves a small trail of scent behind, last 3-4 hrs and the intensity reduces with time. It’s so cheap, that it’s ok to just respray. I get compliments on this one, my husband loves it, it must be those ‘phERomOnEs’ ;) The smell is sweet, but just like in Addict, the vanila is spicy, it’s not soft fragrance, there’s a bit of harshness to it, a bit masculine even (initially). It’s £16 for a big bottle, it’s worth a shot.

I LOVE this perfume but disappears after half an hour sadly...or my nose get used to this easily. This has the weakest performance I ever had. If they make a new more concentrated version of it, I would buy again.

Joke of a perfume - save your money & buy a bottle of water! I bought both, neither smell of anything!

I love this fragrance and I’m on my second bottle but hardly reach for it due to the performance being so poor. I’ve just blindly bought Roberto Cavalli Nero Assoluto and first thing I thought of was this perfume! I love the original RC EDP and I’ve been meaning to buy Nero Assolute for years and so glad I now have it, as it gives me my fix for Anne Summers Aphrodisiac. Not identical, but very, very similar.

It's sexy! If you like Good Girl by Carolina Herrera you will like this one too. Opening its very different - blast of pepper and then here you are Good Girl or Rawa both are very similar. Its not that sweet like GG so I would say it's more like Rawa. I would say it's night time scent but I was wearing it today during the day to see how it performs so I think its ok wear it in autumn or winter.

From the reviews on the Ann Summers website it looks like this has been reformulated/completely changed since they changed the bottle design. The current version smells like a less intense, less spicy Dior Addict.
