Mellow Yellow

Wasn't expecting anything special when I bought the Anna Sui tiny sample bottle pack. This was my favorite out of all of them. Smells like opening a bag of Lifesavers gummies. Sweet, green, and citrusy in the opening. It's greenness doesn't match the ice cream aesthetic of the bottle but this is some good stuff! Scent is similar to alot of Victoria's Secret body sprays but a tiny bit higher quality? An example would be like this is a sweeter and less boozy version of Pure Seduction by VS. This fragrance isn't too complex and borders on body spray or shampoo territory that makes some people feel like it's a childish scent, but if you like sweet fruity scents like I do, sample this if you come across it. This isn't too sickly sweet, and has a fresh greenness about it that you could spray yourself with this on a hot summer day or after the gym to freshen up. Hoping this isn't some limited edition flanker so I can get my hands on a big bottle.

I recently stumbled upon a fragrance at Ross that I had never tried before: Anna Sui's Mellow Yellow. The packaging, shaped like an ice cream container, was adorable and caught my eye. Initially unsure about it, I was thrilled when I sprayed it; Mellow Yellow quickly became my new favorite scent! I'm currently into fresh, sweet, and fruity fragrances, and this one reminds me of Marc Jacobs Daisy Glow. I absolutely love it!

Omg it smells so good, I sampled the entire sundae collection and Yellow Mellow has to be my favourite, I'd pick lactonic over citrus/fruity any day but when it comes to Violet Vibe and Yellow Mellow, I'd choose Yellow Mellow in a heartbeat, it smells like snow cones and sorbet. I'm gonna buy this soon when I have the time, it'll be my summer fragrance when I do.

Fresh fruity scent perfect for warmer days! Passion fruit is the predominant note which I love and the dry down still has that tropical scent but with the addition of the softer vanilla and musk.

Sooo Escadish! Reminds me Taj sunset and Rockin Rio at their best

I was blindly testing it! And I thought that it smells exactly like a fruity fizzy drink or maybe strawberry cooler. So the smell is totally matching with the bottle. Synthetic but very likable! I am testing my new bottle on my wrist today and it is a juvenile blend. Peachy sorbet, with lemon, faint passionfruit, sugar, apple tree blossom and musk. It has intimate projection and medium longevity. Good for children. As a perfume lover I am a bit disappointed. But it might get better during summer.

its nice! very passion fruit heavy which is unique. don't smell much lemon on me which i'm thankful for. It smells a little like makeup to me? if that makes sense. Not entirely for me as I'm not that big of a yellow fruit scent fan but it's pretty nice! Glad I just have a little sample

I feel like this is a good sister scent to Anna Sui Fantasia Mermaid, has the same vibe yet brighter with the lemon coating the overall vibe of this scent. Very pleasant.

As expected, this is lovely during summer. Sugar, apple blossom, lemon, peach. Works well worn globally. It is refreshing, and reminiscent of sorbet ice cream.

Very mellow citrus with a sweet base. Soft.

Bought this at Ross for $21.99 I thought it was a steal at the time and I was obsessed with the packaging. It opens bright, juicy, and refreshing like a sweet peach lemon passion fruit ice tea. It’s young, juvenile, and bright, Then within 30-40min it gets a bit floral. By 1hr all I detect is a white musk barely there jasmine skin scent. I did not detect any of the vanilla in the base at all. It’s an edt with the longevity of a body spray. . . I used it up in less than a month over spraying the CRAP out of it. (Almost a kin to Jeremy Fragrance/Daniel Rene over spraying). I’ve used cheaper body sprays that have lasted longer than this (DKNY green apple body spray, Mix bar body sprays). I really wanted this to be a love and hopefully a future repurchase. . . The scent just isn’t that “wow” and combined with the extremely poor longevity I can’t recommend, even though the bottle is absolutely beautiful. It was enjoyed while it lasted. I did spray every last drop out of my bottle n popped the cherry off n dabbed what was left in my skin. I do not believe I would repurchase this in the future. Perhaps as a display item? Maybe? Longevity 1/10 abismal. I have the whole range and this one evaporates the fastest. Projection 3/10 If you over spry and layer with perfume oils, lotions, eh. It just still wore off incredibly fast, Overall: 4/10

This is getting ready to be dropped off at the movie theater for a “date” in the aughts (you’re too young to drive yourself). A few squirts of a juvenile fruity perfume, the second bottle of any perfume you’ve ever owned, random Bath & Body Works lotion your older cousin didn’t want, Maybelline blush, covergirl eyeshadow, smushy black eyeliner. eating gummy peach rings while someone nearby is drinking Sprite. Hold sweaty little hands but don’t kiss because you’re too nervous and besides you really don’t know how to neck. You haven’t even experienced menarche and wouldn’t for a few more years yet; you’re a late bloomer. Can’t remember anything about the movie but the point was just to play at being a grownup for a bit anyway. Mom’s waiting in the parking lot.

For all the three this one is my least favourite. Because of the cute bottle every time I spray it boosts my mood. As a scent it's not my favourite I get a lot of passion fruit, it's a bit fuzzy but more like a effervescent tablet, like a artificial tropical juice. If u like tropical fragrances you might like it. Longevity is around 4-5hours at best, but on clothes it can stays around a day. My favourite of the collection is the purple one.

Not my favorite. I was expecting something sweeter, fruitier upon applying. This is a floral scent to me through and through. I have a tendency to love cloying sweet scents though, so maybe my expectations for sweet were too high! But the bottle... gave me these expectations. Bottle is adorable and fun.

this was the best scent out of the sample set i got for christmas. i don't love it but its definitely wearable. all the scents from this pack were just extremely floral, this one is the least floral to me. i wont purchase again but i'll finish the bottle.

tropical bubble bath, or maybe the synthetic smell of hydrating sheet masks. tween sleepover smell. the scent doesn't reach past the wrist (or where ever you place it), so none of that is very offensive, just softly nostalgic.

very cute and light citrus-y floral, but that's about it. decent longevity but mediocre projection/sillage. i LOVE the bottle (anna's are always gorgeous) so i would have kept it even if i hated it. overall rating: 🩷🩷🩷🖤🖤 3/5
