Pretty Pink

I got a dabber bottle in the Winter and I wasn't impressed. It smelled generic and fruity with some fresh notes but I didn't love it. I didn't even like it, it was SO boring. The bottle was still pretty so I kept it on my desk at work for decoration. Now that Spring as come around, so have I. I went to work perfume-naked and reached for my Pretty Pink for the first time in months. Today it's 50-65F and sunny and for the first time this scent makes sense. Pretty Pink is a summer cocktail that brings freshness for the fruit lovers. The citrus, basil, and Bellini notes stand out the most, with the floral middle notes blending everything together. The ambery, musky base is familiar and safe. If you typically love fruity florals and want something that's a little bit fresher and greener, but still in your comfort zone, Pretty Pink will get you through the warm weather, and look cute on your vanity for the rest of the year.

While Mellow Yellow made me remember how the preteen iteration of my vanity used to smell: like my old bottle of Anna Sui Secret Wish and drugstore makeup that I was still learning how to use, Pretty Pink goes even further back into my childhood: it smells just like how I remember Clinique Happy smelled on my mother back in the late 90s and early 00s. It's pleasantly fresh and clean in that way combining citrus and musk can be buuut it feels super dated now. An episode of Friends playing on a big clunky CRT TV in a bottle. It doesn't make any sense calling this frag pink tbh. This really should have been packaged in the yellow sundae and the stuff packaged in Mellow Yellow should have been in the pink one.

This one is just amazing it smells like bon bon malizia that I used when I was a child. In extremely hot weather as now 38°C it's very fresh and light. I get compliments when I wear it. The bottle is a bit confusing because of the notes I always think that I have the yellow sundae . The smell is addictive. I would probably edit my review in the future because I ordered the other two from the collection. Siligage moderate, long lasting power stable 6hours on me in hot weather. If you're into fresh, zesty fragrances you will like this one.

Did I buy it for the bottle? Okay, I might have.... I didn’t like the top notes initially, but dry down on me has been surprising. It’s fresh and summery, but has layers. It actually does smell pink, and I really like it! I have been wearing it (very generously) for more than 6hrs now and it’s still powering on. I could absolutely wear this to work. The silicone cherry sprayer is a stroke of genius.

This was a double blind buy on the strength of Edie Smith's description of Rochas Fleur d'Eau which I have never smelled but which she likened to this one. I am several decades too old to enjoy the none-more-kitsch bottle, which does the juice no favours - rather than an icecream gourmand this is a pleasing 90s fruity aquatic, to which the basil adds an aromatic dimension.

It's a pleasant, straightforward and generic scent. A little juvenile - it reminds me of those cheap Disney Princess perfumes I wore in childhood, except a little bit nicer. I actually appreciate the simplicity of this perfume; it's clean-smelling, fresh, and a little bit powdery. Don't expect any creamy or lactonic vibes; it's more floral and soapy.

In the beginning this smelled like orange juice with just the tiniest hint of basil. On dry down it became... also orange juice. Not the most complex scent out there, but if you like the smell of orange juice then this is definitely a safe blind buy for you.

This perfume is nice. That's it. Generic, but wearable and easy to like. Smells exactly like Nicki Minaj "Pink Friday" I had in middle school.

I blind bought this, assuming it would be gourmand, judging by the box and bottle. I'm disappointed - not that it's not a gourmand, but that it smells The same, if not a worse version of Anna Sui Fairy Dance! It's as if they've took the fragrance and put it into another bottle and sold it for double the price. I will never use this perfume, it looks cute on my shelf I guess. I'm a big fan of Anna Sui, though my mum wears and owns more than me, but this really let me down. I wouldn't recommend buying this at all - nothing about it is unique apart from the bottle.

Sweet, citrusy, but doesn’t impress. The bottle is doing a lot of the heavy lifting for this fragrance. Nothing about Pretty Pink really stands out on its own, sadly there’s no show stopping note that’s elevated or accentuated here. However, this fragrance pairs great with other scents that share floral midnotes and/or woody-vanilla basenotes. Overall this is my least favorite of the Sundae line, but when paired with Kayali’s Yum Pistachio Gelato it is lovely (and helps extend the 30 minutes wear time of Yum Pistachio).

Man..... I wanted to like this so much. I was so excited to buy it as well, it's my first airport duty free perfume purchase... and what a let down. Ngl, I should have just waited until I got home to purchase the purple flanker instead, because this is such a waste of money. I personally can't smell ANYTHING? My boyfriend says otherwise so perhaps it really is my nose.... but regardless, I'm really not impressed by this perfume. Such a shame since the bottle is so cute :(

Cheap smelling (synthetic smelling?), bought a full bottle based on my first test but that’s on me, I caved because of the bottle. The amalgamation of notes with the Anna Sui perfumes I’ve smelled has never been pleasant enough for me to like it beyond the first spray, and testing for longer than once usually gets me bored / sick of it - I’ve only tried a few Fantasia perfumes, and all the Sundae perfumes. I still have my hopes up for Anna Sui by Anna Sui though.

I just tested this out. Beautiful bottle. Nothing wrong with this fragrance it's just not what I like. If anything it reminds me a very light- more organic body sprays that go for way less money. That's why I decided not to rate this too high. I'd say try it for yourself and see if it goes with your chemistry. It's floral without being Rose. It's not a deep dark fragrance. It's sunshine and bubbly. I like the idea of wearing this.

even though this smells like a cheap mall perfume to me, I surprisingly don't hate this. It does feel youthful, and almost gives me a headache, but it smells like a "cool" mall girl to me. Like when I was a teenager and wanted to be a cool girl that hangs out at the mall, this is what she would smell like. Not basic, fun, different and a little rebellious, but can only wear scents that are accessible to her as a teenager

Got this as a gift and I expected a different smell given the name as someone below pointed out. It's not what I typically associate with "pink". The pomelo/basil opening makes this fresh. It dries down to a pleasing scent. Nothing extraordinary, but the squishy nozzle is so fun to spray!

There is a disconnect between the bottle and what the fragrance actually smells like. It smells grassy with a little bit of spice. There is no cream, no vanilla, no sweetness, no sundae. It's more like an orange smoothie with a sharpness.

it's a unique citrus, but kind of reminiscent of cleaning products. the bottle is super cute but does not represent this scent at all.

It’s.....fine! Passable, fruity sweet citrus that will offend nobody and be forgotten by the sands of time. Generic and just okay.

Super citrus and that’s pretty much it. Misleading bottle, there’s no milkshake bringing any boys to the yard. Disappointing.

I sprayed it on myself when I saw it at Ross cuz I taught it would smell sweet and maybe gourmand. With only two sprays It was so strong, gave me the worst headache ever. And I’m all for sweet strong smells. But this was a no. Smells cheap generic and just not good. But the bottle is so gorgeous.

Nearly gagged smells like a weird minty cough drop

This whole collection is one you buy - for the bottle. Not so much how it smells, longevity, silage, etc. HOWEVER when you get a good scent, and compliments from a "cheapie" why not!? I grabbed this one at ROSS for $19.99 so I was pumped to find it at that price, I just wanted these for the bottle haha - so I hope to add the other 2 to my lineup. This one is actually - nice. It's citrus and a bite of sweetness. I immediately get reminded of Bombshell by VSecret - however, this isn't super sharp like Bombshell. I hate that one due to the sharp floral citrus it's awful. This however has a sweet almost candy-like vibe to it - and the basil gives a hint of spice/wood. I have gotten multiple compliments on this while wearing it - being told I smell "clean - like I just got out of the shower clean", and it's been staying on my clothes and skin for a while - for $20 and mainly bought for the cute bottle - I can't be mad. SIDE NOTE - I wonder how many of us who bought this(these) took the cherry off thinking the atomizer was under that - LOL - then realized that is the atomizer - hahaha. I was like "WAIT I SPRAY MYSELF WITH THE CHERRY?" it's so cute and so silly!

I bought this scent at ross for $19.99 a couple months ago and only sprayed it once since I only bought it to display , the the bottles are cute and totally remind me of my childhood lol . Today, I sprayed it on after work as a refresher, I wanted something light and non committal and it literally took me back to 1989 , junior high spaying on Debbie Gibson electric youth. So weird how a scent you haven't smelled in 37 years can Instantly make the brain flood with memories, so yea this is a total late 80s generic teeniebopper scent and since I was a teeniebopper in the late 80 I am here for it!

The sundae icecream bottle in pink and pastel blue suggests something sweet, gourmand and creamy. I imagined a dreamy uber girly scent. Wrong! this is a green, synthetic, lime/basil infused fresh scent with some random musky notes, it smells generic and cheap. I just got a sample but I was tempted to get the bottle, because it is so darn cute. I am glad I just got a sample. Beware of this brand.

Strangely classy!! To my nose it’s almost an exact replica of Carven Le Parfum- which is an elegant French fragrance. The bottle and packaging is adorable. It’s not overly wow but it certainly is a safe blind buy or gift. And actually, the experience of having such a cute bottle is enough. I can imagine wearing this with girly outfits.

Feels so natural. The basil and bellini which is made with peach juice dominate this scent within a citruses bouquet on a perfect woody base. It's very well made and a pleasant mood lifting fragrance. A good addition to a wellbeing focused routine. Some comments read here are the dumbest ever read on this platform.

I have 3 of the tester pretty pink is the most disappointing one for me, the packaging is blue and pink its a sundae I expect ice cream notes, creamy notes, strawberry, cotton candy, bubble gum but no it smells like a generic floral perfume, missed opportunity, not sure what was the perfumer thinking

I love the bottles, have to say. Of the scent, I have to say its very pink! Fruity, hint of floral, very girly, not grown up but fresh and bright. Fun, but a little TOO pink for me. I"m not really a pink kinda person.

I absolutely just bought it for the bottle. The fragrance is a generic, sweet citrus reminiscent of cheap perfumes marketed toward children.

Bottle is one, and scent has nothing to do with this. NOPE
