Secret Wish

Left to seek out other fruity perfumes as it's staying power wasn't so strong, In between I tried d&g light blue hoping for something similar with a longer lasting power. However,with light blue , I kept thinking that something was missing as it just smelt like a woody citrus . recently when I was discussing perfumes with my boyfriend , he suddenly mentioned that there was one perfume that I had worn at the very beginning of our dating stages which was his favourite as it was "very nice" and could make him go crazy.... (I knew he was talking about secret wish and was surprised he would remember it even after years of going without this perfume ) at the same time I was starting to get tired of testing other perfumes and couldn't find something that could take my mind off secret wish's fruity and pleasant fragrance.. so.... I finally bought back my first love and all the good memories with it! At a brief sniff , secret wish would remind you of d&g light blue due to some similar composition, But secret wish is more than that- it is fruitier, sweeter and more enticing . It smells of honey and peaches below the initial refreshing citrus notes that makes it different from the other similar fragrances . Give it a deeper sniff and you will feel that the fragrance is rounded out!

This is a perfect summer scent. I get mostly peaches, with some black currant and melon. I'm not a big fruity scent person but I absolutely love this. It's pretty close to photorealistic to me. It's effortlessly fresh, fruity, watery, and uplifting. It's light and splashy, but smells more expensive than it is. It doesn't smell "luxe", per se, but it smells better than most of the fragrances in Sephora and Ulta without even trying. It's got great projection for the profile and overall is a great value. Some might find it a little juvenile, but I think it's refreshing. I bought a mini of this strictly for the bottle, but I am very pleasantly surprised by how much I like this. It's not the type of fragrance I would normally go for, but I'm strongly considering a bottle, or at least a travel size, only having worn it for the first time today. I can be a bit of a scent snob, but this is proof that you really just have to get your nose on something to properly judge it. 8.5/10.

I love Anna Sui! She manages to make some pretty fab eccentric perfumes in kitschy little eye-catching bottles. I bought this years back at Victoria's when they were selling the fairy scents and this has always been my favorite of hers. It's very light, airy, and doesn't have that in your face sweetness like a lot the ones out there today. This is very clean, sweet, and fresh smelling. I get the comparison to D&G as far as the lemony freshness goes, but Light Blue is so much stronger on me and I HATE HATE HATE the masculinity of the cedar note in it as it's headache inducing for me... so I've never cared for it. I usually wear this during the summer/spring months. It's a light frag so this doesn't last very long on the skin, maybe 4 or so hours, but that's really pushing it. I really like this though. I'm glad I could find a good lemon frag that's non offensive and has a lighter quality to it.

I have had a bottle of this perfume for awhile now, The bottle I have is when she was under Scannon perfumes which is Procter and Gamble. I think Secret Wish is better than Light Blue, I think it's mixed better, I don't think Dolly Girl on The Beach is 100% like Secret Wish they are a little different. To me Secret Wish has a creaminess to it, which I really like I'm surprised there is no vanilla in this. This perfume is great in the summer. I can smell the oak moss in this as well, which I have been loving oak moss lately. I have to say Anna Sui has two new Secret Wish perfumes, Fairy Dance Sun, and Fairy Dance Sparkle, you can get these perfumes at her New York store for $60 each for the 50ml, if you live in the USA you can call her store, and they will ship them to you. Lloyd's Pharmacy in the UK has Fairy Dance Sun.

This is truly a fairy-tale perfume minus all the intoxicating sweetness of Brittney Spears' Fantasy. The packaging truly gives one a sense for the type of scent inside the bottle: top notes of pineapple carry one away to a dream world. It is my favorite!!! I used to buy this at Victoria's Secret but they stopped carrying it, and now the ONLY reason I don't currently own it is that I couldn't find it in a store. Will order it online soon though. Another kind of comparable scent is Incanto's Shine; I recently picked up Shine at a store and was instantly reminded of Secret Wish, although at the time I didn't realize what specific note it was. Now I know that it is pineapple. For anyone who loves citrus florals, this is a winner.

Lemon, pineapple, melon. Maybe some berry. This smells like fresh cut up fruit sold in "to-go" cups at an open market stall. Not artificial, just sun ripened sweetness. Cedar and musk round out the end of this. This smells like a camping trip that someone bravely brought fruit to. So far this is my favorite of the 3 pack I purchased from Ross. Anna Sui knows how to make whimsical innocuous fragrances that speak of youth and a moment in time. I think after reviewing them that I need to pass these on to my little niece. They really are a great variety for young women who are just starting to like perfume. :)

I just recieved it from the mail...i got the gift set with a pouch and rollerball and a 50ml perfume bottle...smells so citrusy, fresh and sweet! I love it! Although it only last for 4 hours in my skin it doesn't matter i still love it! Smells like D&G light blue...but i love this one better because of the cute packaging, color and light scent. D&G is too strong for me and i really don't like the bottle of that. I looooooove it!!! Affordable price is a plus! I don't regret buying it from perfumesworld :)

I'm gonna be honest, at first I didn't get secret wish. I bought it in the winter time, and I thought it smelled a bit astringent. Then when summer hit I decided to give it another chance, and secret wish has been my daily driver all summer long. It's light, refreshing, and a little sweet. It will instantly make you smell like you've freshly showered and stepped into an aquatic fairyland. I've nearly emptied a full size bottle in less than 3 months. Could not recommend more!

As mentioned by others this is definately one of her better creations cz it is absoltely sublime & a mouth watering beauty. To me it smells a less fruitier version of ASui - a flight of fancy, which just misses out to this & also i am not a fan of her work but this is nyc. Probably this is the best fragrance out of her creations. It starts a lemony & slightly fruity(edible) which later calms down to a less fruity base & that is the best bit.

Anna Sui Secret Wish is her best perfume. I've tried others, and Fairy dance Secret Wish is not bad, but does not come close. It is an effervescent magical happiness coming out of the bottle, just a fairie with her magic wand, make a wish, it will be granted. I loved it so much, I bought a second bottle. Victoria's Secret used to carry it, not anymore. It is one of my favorite beauties. I am a swimmer, and aquatic scents are my favorites.

Smells like slicing a lemon in half and getting citrusy lemon juice all over your hands. Very citrusy and sour, which I love, since I hate citrusy sweet scents. Sadly this only lasts for less than an hour on my skin. So it's like I spray it, and it just evaporates, even when using lotion/vaseline. Will use the bottle for decorating my new bathroom though, so the price is worth it just for the bottle imo 🧚 ̊˖𓍢ִ໋🧚🏻+ ̊ʚ 🪷 + ̊

I like this very much and that ́s because it appeals to my imagination positively. Fairies, fairytails, miracles, good things may happen to you! This is a very safe perfume to wear at work, it ́s subtle and kind, like a friend in need.Not "in-to-your-face"-stuff. There ́s no coconut mentioned in the list but I smell it here - odd? Appropriate to wear all year round but very good during spring to autumn.

This was my first ever perfume at the age of 16 so it is among one of my favourites. Not the best perfume I've ever owned but the one that makes me happiest and reminds me of the days of being sweet 16. It's a fresh fruity citrusy smell that is there for a fleeting moment. I love the lemon top note the fragrance opens with and it cross matches with D & G Light Blue though it isn't as harsh.

Although it is light, I really enjoyed sampling this perfume. It lasted about 2-4 hours on me. The initial scent is very young, fresh and uplifting. The fruit notes are not overwhelming, and the drydown is very soothing. Overall, a very pleasing fragrance that I would like to try again. The beauty of the bottle design and pretty color of the juice might entice me to buy a full size bottle.

Yummy scent. Very hard to find. Unfortunately doesn't last long. I've used so much in such a short time, hoping the more I spray the longer it will last, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Won't even stick in the fibers on my clothes. By the time I get to work I can no longer smell it. But so lovely. I hope the next bottle somehow has better staying power =)

love love this! first off, the packaging is really nice, that little pixie sitting on top of the bottle is really cute, and the scent, its so light and fresh and crisp! its something i wont get tired of smelling. its very perfect for warmer climates as it is not overpowering. it doesnt stay that long however.

I found a little miniature bottle of this and I really like it and love it to and it smells so beautiful like a pretty fruity female girly perfume and the cute little fairy sitting on top the perfume lid i think I might buy a bigger size of this and I love anna sui and her perfumes are so pretty and good

I bought it for the bottle, but it's so enchanting and refreshing! Way more gardeny than gourmand. The melon, berries, and cedar come through the most for me, with a misty sort of background from the florals and citrus. Smells like a dewy cottage garden on the edge of a magic forest.

I LOVE this scent! I had the secret wish magic romance first but decided to buy a bottle of secret wish. I like this better than the pink one. it doesn't stay long though. but what I really like about this is the bottle! and I love the color. the appearance is very attractive!

Ive been looking for this everywhere, guess I'll be buying it online because I never see it in stores like i used to. This scent is soo unique and light and airy. It reminds me of a fairy, it is whimsical. Can't wait to have it again:)

This is similar to D&G light blue (used to be my signature scent some years ago) Secret Wish, however is much nicer. Not as sharp, as Light blue, and definitely sweeter. Plus it does smell very watery...which I love.

One of my favorites; very girly. Fresh and with a feeling of wind and wide space, yet with an aura of a mystery. Doesn`t last though, needs to be re-applied every couple of hours, but not much, just a little spray :)

The bottle is just gorgeous! Very youthful, girly, best choice for summer. My very first perfume when I got into college. The scent of lemon is so fresh and cheerful, yet the pineapple and melons are not too sweet.

This is my holiday perfume. For about last five years I take it with me on my summer sunny holiday. It's light, fresh and so bright scent. My thirD bottle of it!

Very fresh.. Very nice.. Asians would love this scent =) It fades away too quickly tho, luckily i have the miniature to bring along wherever I go!

Gorgeous bottle.. Lovely fruity floral scent. Not too loud and yet not too quiet to simply go unnoticeable. I repurchased it about 3-4 times..

A little bit too girly for me but i like it anyway. It's reminds me of the perfume that came with barbie since I was a kid. Sooo Anna sui.

i love this one its fresh and friuty and not too sweet i just wished it lasted longer i only get about 2 hours sometimes less on my skin

It's another pretty, easy-to-wear, but not that special Anna Sui perfume. Secret Wish is like a girlier and sweeter version of Moschino I Love Love. It starts with the sweet, tangerine kinda cirtrusy top, which is deliciously fruity sweet and optimistic. However, it goes to the middle notes/dry down phase rather fast. I don’t get any monotone pineapple or current, but more a well mixed sweet (kinda syrup-like, without the cloying factor), cute girly scent, which has a similar vibe as Jeanne Lavine by Lavine, but Secret Wish is shier and more tamed by the citrusy hint in a way. The dry down doesn’t smell much different, simply closer to the skin and less fresh or fruity. There is the typical Anna Sui style quite and nice dry down with soft peachy musky hint which concludes the perfume in a pretty manner. Secret Wish is nice, optimistic, girly pretty and nice for everyday wear. However, I find it lacks some personality just like 99% of the floral fruity perfumes these days. Nevertheless, it’s a nice perfume, and I can see many people liking wearing it or smelling it from friends or colleges. The only con is, as most Anna Sui’s, it doesn’t last long and the sillage is poor after about 1.5 hour.

Secret Wish is a very likeable, pleasant perfume. It's subtle, light, fresh, fruity and a little sweet in the drydown. It immediately brings to mind my Ungaro Apparition Sky which to me smells very similar and both perfumes are ideal to wear in warm weather. The bottle for Secret Wish is also very nice so there's nothing I really dislike about it, EXCEPT ... the staying power is pretty bad on me and it seems to almost evaporate after a couple of hours, except for a little sugariness which remains on my skin a bit longer. So, that's very disappointing but the bottle I have was gifted to me by a lovely fellow Fragrantican who I've done several perfume swaps with so I don't mind too much! I'd hesitate to actually buy a bottle of Secret Wish though because of the poor staying power (unless I could get a heavily discounted bottle!) but otherwise I do really like it!

Got this perfume in the magic box this afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised by the scent ultimately. At first sniff I thought I might give it to my ten year old. After the first burst of kitchen cleaner, the pineapple showed up most predominantly for me. The melon was not there at all. After about ten minutes I could not stop smelling my arm: the lemon put in an appearance and stuck around for quite a while which is new and unexpected. I could not specifically smell Currant. It was a lovely fruity for a couple hours and then settled out to a nice amber and mild green (probably the oakmoss). Cedar and musk are non-existent. Longevity could be better, it is faded a lot after only about five hours. Sillage was not great to start with, but I was only trying it, so I did not douse myself in it either.

Anna Sui Secret Wish EDT is a light, fresh, citrusy sweet, youthful and girly scent. Similar to D&G Light Blue but more nose-friendly IMO. I love, love, love the packaging! Its scent isn't offensive even if you get to overspray it. I recommend it for girls who want to slowly transition from wearing cologne to perfume. It's good for daytime, summer wear especially if you're living in a hot and humid country. Okay for school, work, going out, date night, and probably even for a job interview. I personally find this scent comforting.I use it even when I'm just at home, lying in my bed. For me it's almost perfect; I only wish that the scent lasts longer as this only does for two hours tops. All in all I rate this 4 out of 5 stars.

I first smelled this in a duty-free shop at an airport overseas and was really surprised- it was a unique,cheerful, fresh and earthy scent, quite unlike the dozens of other floral perfumes on display. I ended up searching this out after my trip and really enjoying it: the pineapple and lemon make this a very fresh perfume but I think the things I love best are the cedar and oakmoss- both of them reminded me of being in a cool, green forest. I know a lot of people will absolutely adore the packaging but to me, the packaging, bottle and colour don't really go with the scent. I know that's Anna Sui's style but and I feel like the Tinkerbell and turquoise colour make this seem like more of a juvenile fragrance than it actually is.

This is what I like to call a "round" scent; it lacks any screechy element that would sting your nose, and it doesn't have any nauseating sweetness to it. After spraying, the citrusy opening quickly settles, and with the warmth of your skin it creates an oh so delicate/intimate scent cloud. The scent in itself reminds me of the tropical holiday I never went on; it's the atmosphere I imagine of laying on the beach at dusk, drinking piña coladas with your friends and wearing your best after-sun lotion while wrapped up in a soft linen blanket. It's late summer right now where I live, but I can definitely imagine this performing well in colder climates too. I'll have to wait a few months and see for myself :)

I almost tossed this. It started out as the most pungent citrus with a rubbing alcohol smell. Let it dry and it's like a sweeter citrus version of Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue. What I mean is that D&G has the fresh sour apple, this one has more of a sweet lemon scent. Even though this is less complex than D&G Light Blue I love the fruity and green dry down of this, it gives me nostalgia of very sweet Christmas Tree / Douglas Fir sap. If you're strapped for cash, this is a good alternative to D&G Light Blue (Secret Wish is cheaper) and also makes a safe blind buy for a freshie. I'm gonna have to get a big bottle of this to douse myself in for my outdoor job. Another winner to throw in the gym bag!

I thought I got dewy sweet white florals, clearly not. Would like to try again. My first impression was of Van Cleef & Arpels Feerie- had that same effervescent sugary quality- which must be from the citrus. Would like to try again. Might consider as a gift for my sister. It's quite playful and whimsical. I have a feeling she might enjoy it. One caveat, I thought the bottle was quite cheap & tacky looking, I tried it thinking it was Paris Hilton's Fairy Dust. It looks like one of those bottles a disney perfume for little girls would come in. Which could be sweet. Many of Anna Sui's bottles tend to be plastic cheap things that reminds me of toys. Maybe that's part of their appeal.

I wanted a perfume that ressembled Nautica Voyage, because my boyfriend wears it and I'm just in love with it. So Secret Wish was suggested to me by the perfume lady at the store. I smelled it and loved the fresh citrusy melon smell. The box is gorgeous and the bottle is also very nice. I put it on and went to do my errands. I couldn't stop smelling my wrist cos it smelled so nice!!! So I went back to buy it. Its only problem is that it does not hold very long. The smell on my clothes at the end of the day was very faint. I would say it's a good perfume for the office or school for young adults. Overall, I was happy with it while I had it, but I will not buy it again.

It's fresh, light, somewhat sweet, youthful and girly. I mostly bought it for the packaging, really, but it turned out to be quite nice. I think it can't be over-sprayed because it's very light. I recommend it for girls who wants to try out perfumes - they will love it. Or maybe someone like me, who secretly wish to be a fairy (just kidding). It's good for daytime, summer wear, beach wear, especially if you're living in a hot and humid country like mine. And then for cute date, school, work, or just because. It's really an easy one to use. Not complicated, not really grown up, but feels good. Longevity is an issue but I think it's a problem for many perfumes.

I've been on a serious hunt for good citrus fresh fragrances and I've learnt that these must be really tough to formulate, because there's a very thin line between pleasant citrus scents and coming off as a beautifully packaged toilet cleaner. In my pursuit of the best citrus fragrance, I bought Moschino I Love Love, Davidoff Cool Water Wave and D&G Light Blue Italian Zest. To me, Secret Wish knocks them all out of the park. There's no bitter, astringent or cleaning agent quality to the top notes and it just dries down to a pleasant fruity fresh scent. Glad I took a chance on this!

On each arm I have Light Blue and Secret Wish on, and from first spray they are 90% similar to my nose, with Secret Wish being a bit sweeter and no apple. In the dry down, they’re maybe 75% similar since Light Blue is woodier. They both blossom in the heat, but are short lived and do not project much at all. Personally as a girlie girl who loves whimsy, I prefer Secret Wish for the bottle and price, and its slightly sweeter scent. Also love having a cheaper bottle I can go spray crazy with in the summer cause it feels so refreshing!

This was my first signature scent I got when I was 15 or 16. I LOVED the freshness and sweetness to it, without being sickening, and I wore it every day, especially in the spring and summer. I had it as my signature scent for about 8 years, until one day a friend told me it smelled very pungent and sour. Since then I’ve just had it on my shelf. When I smell it nowadays (10 years later) I only feel the strong lemon-y fragrance and worry about it being too sharp, which makes me sad. My first love, but not my forever one.

This was my aunts old perfume that I got when she passed. At first I didn’t like it much, the only perfumes I had were sweet ones and I wasn’t used to the floral citrus thing. But one day I smelled it after a long time and realized, this is the most perfect summer scent. It smells like saltwater and mojitos at the beach. Like tropical but without the fruitiness, this is what I imagine a day at an Hawaiian beach to smell like. Might not be the best to blind buy, but it’s the most perfect summer scent 🍹

This is a very pleasant citrus based scent that is great for summer. It’s inoffensive, sweet, and not to mention the bottle is super cute to boot! It does smell a little one note, so if you’re looking for something more complex, this isn’t it. Silage is very weak and the scent disappears pretty quickly, after a couple of hours I couldn’t smell it even on my clothes anymore. I don’t find myself reaching for it often, and after my bottle is done, I probably would not repurchase.

I wore this on an extended trip to Australia and now I associate it with the early Autumn in Sydney. It's very light, cologne-like and fruity, perfect for warmer weather. Peaches and melons are the standouts for me. A young scent, younger than I was when I wore it, suited to older teenagers or maybe a gym fragrance. Refreshing and a little light breath of love and magic, reflected in the glass fairy bottle cap. I buy it when I'm feeling nostalgic .

Secret Wish is a fresh scent for hot days when you just want to spritz on a scent that is happiness in a bottle. It starts with refreshing lemon and a slightly tart note of blackcurrant before it dries down to a soft musk. Secret Wish lasts for less than an hour before even the last trace amounts have vanished from my skin. Very similar to Light Blue, but even fresher! If the scent lasted longer, I'd actually prefer it over Light Blue.
