Thorn of a Rose

A beautiful year-round rose that evokes memories of springtime. Similar to English Rose by Yardley, but more smokey. In the opening, the citruses are almost creamy, like a lemon gelato, while rose and violet are ever present. Slightly reminiscent of rose petal jam, without the sweetness. The incense adds character. Kind of reminds me of Easter. Projection and longevity aren't anything special but I still like this very very much!

Absolutely beguiling rose scent. I wasn’t expecting a powerhouse, and it definitely doesn’t last on me more than a few beautiful hours (even with a heavy-handed spray). I would have loved to sniff more violets and incense but it’s fun and pretty—and pop-y with the pink pepper at the top. Not thorny at all, despite its name! Ingenue vibes.

Pretty simple, a smoky rose scent. I believe this is the most simplistic out of the 4 Wild Wonder perfumes I’ve tried. Though, this is the least complex in my opinion, it’s still beautiful and easy to wear. Not for rose dislikers..

This is a fun, fresh rose scent- very pretty. Great starter perfume.

I got this for $15 at TJ Maxx - hard to argue with that price point. If I had paid the $50 retail price I would have been disappointed. If I'm being generous, I would describe this a straight forward low price point rose scent. If I'm being more critical, I would say it's a basic immature rose interpretation. The rose smells like every other rose scented soap or rose water product. It reminds me of early highschool when I first discovered rose scented things. I catch some creamy-ness and citrus after dry down if I really sniff but I doubt it comes across in the projection. I do catch a hint of Ben Gay scent which I LOVE and promoted me to purchase it.
