Violet Vibe

I just recently tested this. It's going on my wish list! Aside from the totally cute bottle, this fragrance was something I smelled all the way from across the store. It is not overpowering and it's not stinky or too strong. It has incredible silage. It's a gourmand fragrace, complex purple floral? and very present whipped cream with caramel. Nice blend and aromatic without getting too once sided. It doesn't have notes that I don't like! Only down side was when I walked away from the test area I couldn't smell it anymore. It was on my hand but overpowered by other scents I tried. I would like to try it again with nothing else to conflict and see if it lasts.

Yes, I can confirm (after a few wears and comparisons) that this is very similar to Burberry Her. The sweetness of the berries might be turned up a click, and the total fruitiness is more amplified than Burberry Her, but it’s like another version of a Cloud/BR540 category scent, if you like those! 🍓This is a happy, airy, joyful cloud of berries and spun sugar sweetness in fairyland. P.S. It’s pretty easy to go nose blind to this. I couldn’t smell it after the first five minutes but the next day I could smell this on my sweatshirt without even putting it on, and my son could smell it on me across the room. Needless to say, this was a big positive surprise!

I’ve wanted to smell this line since it came out. I got LUCKY and found violet vibe at Ross for $20 this week!! I buy perfumes for the bottle as well as scent so I had to get it. It’s been a while since I’ve smelled Burberry her elixir but I can definitely see the comparison. Less so for the regular edp or cloud. To me what this smells the most like is a real throwback, Bath and Body Works Sweet on Paris! Maybe a bit less sugary. I wore that the summer of going to the mall, Hot Topic, and listening to My Chemical Romance. Mine got thrown out long ago so im enjoying the whiffs of nostalgia from this blind buy success. 👌🏻

It's strawberry cream dripping down my chin at the carnival. Getting cotton candy Dippin' Dots from the ice cream truck with the last 3 dollars left of my birthday money, stashed away in a lavender jewelry box with plastic rhinestones and lace. A girl gives me her hair tie and never even thinks about asking for it back. I put my hair up into a high pony and lay on the grass, plucking clovers and making little bracelets. Drinking honeysuckle and eating marshmallows and doodling during class with a scented glitter pen. It's hot out but shaved ice and the blooming flowers make up for it. It's childish and sweet, pure.

This is compared to so many scents - and I'm sorry - but WHAT? This smells absolutely NOTHING like Burberry Her. NOTHING. It's sweet, yes, but it's nothing like HER. Why are people comparing it to that? And CLOUD? No...this is just a simple, sweet fresh scent. I like it, but it's nothing like what it is compared to. It's got some similarity to a few, but really, it's unique enough on its own. Surprisingly good longevity for this, too. I enjoy the sweetness, but then the dry down is a bit floral and warm. A solid and unique offering from this line.

This is such an adorable fragrance. I do see similarities to Cloud and Burberry Her, but I prefer this over Burberry Her- which I found to be too plastic/synthetic. This is much fresher and more airy. Strawberry and mixed berries with cream and a light shaving of lemon. It's so cute. I was worried this had been discontinued, but it seems to be available again. Lasts between 4-6hrs on skin, longer on clothes. This is generally so affordable though, so I don't mind respraying. It's a lovely fragrance. Great for when I wanna feel cute.

It doesn't hit very hard at first, but let it sit and it becomes so pretty. Like walking into Baskin Robins wearing a floral fruity perfume. I get ice cream out of this more than the others in the Anna Sui Sundae line, and I think pairing it with something lactonic (say, Philosophy's Fresh Cream for example), would really amp that up. The bottle also reminds me of the Goofy-Goober Sundae from Spongebob, and I'm a total nerd, so I like that. In general, this is exactly what it claims to be, and I'm totally here for it!

This smells almost exactly like burberry her but a bit more marshmallow-y! The middle notes almost remind me of these japanese scented erasers i had as a kid that i used to smell all the time it's so nostalgic. so so yummy <3 and the packaging totally just makes it even better edit 6 months later: this is seriously my favorite perfume ever. it's so girly, soft and cute. i been wearing it like almost every day since i got it. Such a beatiful and sugary soft strawberry marshmallow scent <3

To me it's very similar to Burberry Her Elixir (less powdery more berry), Cloud (less musky) and Strawberry Snowflakes. My girlfriend loves strawberry snowflakes on me and most people associate that scent with me- but my girlfriend said it "Blows strawberry snowflakes out the water" and really loved it on me! It doesn't last the longest but I don't mind reapplying. Honestly this might be a scent I would have to recoupe/keep a back up! Love it! 🍦💜

I love bottle so cute First time i sprays i think my scent look like Burberry Her + Cloud (Ariana Grande) but creamy more strawberry is so yummy 😋 i think This is the best of sundae set so friendly and eazy to use smells so good for everyday When dry down is Marshmallows + musk is very long-lasting on my skin i love it If you like Burberry Her, Cloud, MFK 540 but you don't like bottle please buy Violet Vibe I like more MFK540 😉

This is exactly what I imagined Burberry Her Elixir/Intense 2024 would have smelt like but didn’t deliver. Hard to believe it’s an EDT, because the performance is outstanding. On my skin it easily lasts 12 hours (sprayed it before I went to sleep and can still smell it the next day), and on clothing and hair it lingers for 36+ hours. Sweet, creamy, and addictive, it feels far more powerful than its concentration suggests.

This in is my favourite of the three. When u spray it it's strawberries and cream with marshmallows. It's honestly so good, it gives me Burberry her elixir but not an exact copy. Very well done in my opinion. The longevity on skin it's just 4 hours at best, but on clothes it can stays up to days. Would definitely recommend for the gourmand lovers. With this cute package 10/10. Such a bubbly fragrance 💜.

This one smells amazing! Blind buy was totally worth it. Violet Vibe is a candied blackcurrant marshmallow fragrance. The lemon zest is not detectable which is good for me since I'm not into citrus fragrances. The packaging is a whimsical ice-cream container, and the bottle is cute and unique with the cherry as the sprayer. I give it to Anna Sui for designing such playful bottles.

100% agree that this smells like a combo of Rave Now (Burberry Her Elixir dupe) and Cloud. It's far smoother/less sweet than the former and fruitier than the latter. I absolutely love it and will consider buying a FB once my mini runs out. Safe blind-buy if you're into this scent profile!

This perfume is so adorable! It’s creamy and strong I’ve seen a lot of people saying this smells similar to cloud but I don’t see that at all. On the initial spray I can smell the marshmallow but once it dries down I get heavy strawberries and cream. Love this one

Literally makes you smell like you stepped right out of a candy shop. So adorably sweet, but not at all cloying! Actually, I find it to be a pretty refreshing scent. I get compliments on this one all the time.

even though i prefer cloud by ariana grande just a tad bit more, ill never forget when i sprayed this perfume for the very first time <3 such a lovely smell!!! will most likely buy another bottle!!

to this day im still so in love with this scent!!! praying it doesnt get or is already discontinued now in 2025 considering its been harder to find it anywhere for a rational price :(

smells like those flavoured rubbers from primary school in a very lovely and nostalgic way to me.

Despite the name, Violet Vibe is what the color pink smells like. Pleasantly surprised to discover this budget friendly blind buy is a straightforward strawberry ice cream on my skin, nearly photorealistic and quite natural. It’s fresh strawberries cooked down with sugar and a pinch of lemon zest for freshness, and then drizzled into heavy cream while it’s churning. Florals take a background role here. Compared to BBW Strawberry Snowflakes, Violet Vibe is more powdery and marshmallowy (and just overall better blended and less synthetic), and compared to any of the Burberry Her flankers, it’s sweeter, creamier, and less intense. The bottle is soda shop-nostalgic and just darling. I think young girls might enjoy this as a first perfume, but thankfully that doesn’t mean grown-up gourmand girlies can’t find it just as delicious. She’s a real sweetie. I layered VV with Le Monde Gourmand’s Citron Glacé today for more of a tangy sorbet twist, too— yum!

This doesnt resemble Cloud or any baccarat style fragrance. It is sweet, and It reminds me of another ariana grande type Perfume, maybe rem. It is kind of like bublegum and cotton candy. Its also not anything like marshmellow blush or yum boujee marshmellow. To me this smells like a mix between the new wicked glinda Perfume and Burberry her. I prefer this to the Lattafa rave now. On its own its a fleeting fragrance. Its a bit mass appealing, very light. My mom loved the scent, she rated it 8. I would rate it a 7 and my grandmother rated this a 5. Nobody is going to be able to smell you. But it has the same kind of cotton candy vibe as pink Cloud has. Overall i bought this for the bottle, and wasnt expecting much. If you really like Burberry her/ariana grande fragrances I Think this is a safe blind buy. I could also see someone wearing this to School or work, as it doesnt project too loud.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t have very strong projection or longevity, so I recommend applying it on clothes. It lasts around 5 hours at most, and after that it becomes a very intimate scent. It may give slight Baccarat Rouge 540, Ariana Grande Cloud, or Burberry Her Elixir vibes. However, to my nose it’s closest to Burberry Her Elixir (though I do NOT consider it a dupe). That similarity is mostly in the opening, after that, it settles into a much softer and more subtle fragrance. This is a strawberry, lemon, and whipped cream scent—sweet, but also fresh with a slightly tangy edge from the strawberry. A perfect gift for a teenager, especially because the packaging and bottle are truly charming.

to me, cloud and burberry her have nothing to do with each other, so I was excited to see what the comparisons were about. first thought when spraying this was wow, this really does smell like cloud. as it dries it becomes like cloud with a heavy fruity note, which I at first assumed to be plum, but I think is the blackcurrant. after that it dries down to smell more like Burberry her, with the cloud DNA still lurking in the background. i like cloud and Burberry her but I would rather not smell like cloud as some of my friends wear it. this is quite nice. sparkly strawberry and juicy blackcurrant with marshmallows and cream :)

This fragrance is so adorably sweet and I honestly love it. It is very similar to Burberry her, but honestly better. Compared to Burberry her, it has more of a vibrant strawberry scent. Upon reading the notes I knew it would smell very agreeable to me, and my boyfriend bought me it for christmas. I’m assuming it was rereleased or something, because a while ago I could only find it for £50 onwards, but after spotting it for £22 i KNEWWW i had to. This one has gotten me compliments from my friends and it is just an overall very agreeable scent anyone would like. RECCOMEND !!

When I was little I had a My Little Pony figurine with a scented cutie mark that I didn't especially love but also couldn't resist sniffing again and again. The mark was supposed to smell like birthday cake. This smells EXACTLY like that. like the plastic of the toy combined with the cake-scented portion. Sillage and longevity are surprisingly decent. I know because my +1 complained about being able to smell it on me all day long.

This is very zesty/strawberry perfume with a lot of whisped cream. I don't think this is a dupe of any perfume. It has some strawberry note but that does not mean that is a copy or similar to Burberry Her elixir or Cloud by Ariana Grande. You have to use a lt of sprays if you want some projection and longevity (better on clothes). Its a very cute bottle, perfect for a gift to a teenager, but don't expect too much of this perfume.

I got this on sale and I absolutely adore it. The packaging is awesome the cherry atomizer is so cute and blew My mind the juice in it is ok. It’s very cotton candy forward super sweet kind reminds me of something a teenager would wear. The longevity is pretty good it’s Super cute I might not pick it up all the time, but I’m gonna keep it in my collection for sure.

This is so much giving Burberry her Elixir + Cloud Pink together, but more like a prononced strawberry/blackcurrant version of both ! I generally don't like that dna (at all) but this one is very pleasant. The longevity is quite moderate, starts to disappear between 2h-4h. Btw that bottle is sooo cute, literally looks so perfect on my vanity ! love it.

the bottle is adorable and very fitting for such a sweet, feminine, and youthful fragrance. a very powdery, floral, and light scent. somewhat reminiscent of cloud, but WAY less musky. but i don't get much of the strawberry note, it's much more floral. the first two times i wore this i did get a headache so it may not be suitable for sensitive noses!

Showered and went to sleep. Woke up and I can still smell the sweet cream dry down on me. Surprisingly long lasting. Very sweet. If you're coming from the gourmand centric side of fragrances, won't be what you're looking for. Thinking of layering it with a deep vanilla to add some depth, but otherwise it's a lovely light sugary fragrance.

This is sweet and pretty. I got a small miniature. I am going to compare it to Rave Now (Burberry dupe) and Hanae Mori to see if I should even bother buying a full bottle. If you don’t have Cloud, Burberry, or any dupes, I highly recommend buying this or gifting it to a young lady. Yummy scent!

I just have a mini of this but I really like it and I might upgrade! I don’t get the ambroxany Burberry Her/BR540/Cloud aspect at all, to me it’s just a nice fruity creamy marshmallow. It’s a cute scent in a cute bottle at a great price, what’s there to be mad at?

blind bought this bc i could not resist the packaging. i don't regret it at all! i like this scent a lot, a perfect combination of my favorite notes. had no idea it would sell out so fast so i feel lucky i was able to get my hands on it. very pleased with it

Very, VERY sweet floral with BR540 DNA. Borders on too sweet. Because of that, I don't think you could wear this in summer without inducing a headache. Impressive longevity & sillage, one spray packs a punch.

A more lactonic Eden by Kayali. I find this more palatable. The fruity accord on this one isn’t as tarte.

The notes might be misleading to some. This smells much more adult than I anticipated. It opens with a burst of sweetness, but the dry down is more unique. At first, it smells like the last bit of vanilla icecream melting in the cone on a warm day - sweet but not overpowering. I get toasted marshmallow with just a hint of juicy strawberry. I definitely smell the amber & something else I can't put my finger on too. The citrus note is non existent and I don’t smell black currant. I can see myself wearing this into the fall. There's something sexy, cozy and even comforting about it. After wearing it for a few hours, I detect a similarity to Burberry Her. Something in it is reminiscent of it upon dry down. They share many of the same notes, but I find this one less cloying. The thing that puts me off is that there seem to be many fragrances out there these days that are similar. Overall, this is the standout of the Sundae collection.

If you can't find this perfume, do not stress over it. Even if you had it, you wouldn't be able to find the scent on yourself after 30 minutes anyway. I bought a mini, which still has the adorable bottle only smaller. So, if it's really the bottle you're interested in, get a mini. Don't waste your money on a full bottle. The performance is so weak, it's just not worth it. The scent is a sweet and faintly purple scent, but it's not at all memorable or groundbreaking. I'm a little older, so I'm not familiar with the Miss Party Surprise dolls that another reviewer mentioned, but my immediate thought upon spraying was that it smells like one of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls (Huckleberry Pie) from the 80s. This line wouldn't be selling out if it weren't for the cute bottles, period. I feel like they didn't even bother trying to make quality fragrances, they just counted on the bottle design for sales. Not cool.

First of all, let me just say the design of this bottle is absolutely gorgeous and clever. The only thing I don’t love about the bottle is the cap. It comes off easily and cannot be sealed for travel. For me this fragrance is quite powdery which was unexpected. It was mostly a blind buy for me. I was expecting a really sweet, gourmand fragrance with lots of sweetness. In reality atleast for me this is more toned down and powdery than super sweet. I do not know if mine was just a bad batch but it’s almost dusty. I don’t hate it. The immidiate powder does fade overtime but it’s not giving the sweet candy, strawberry marshmallow I thought it would. It’s not the best sweetest fragrance I know of but if you want something like this in your collection then by all means try it out. It’s fairly affordable. For me, overall it’s just okay. I wouldn’t rebuy it.

This perfume kind of reminds me of Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday with the addition of a vanilla creamy dry down. Its a very pretty scent. Very buildable. It's fresh, fruity and clean. I was expecting a strong strawberry but its not. If that's what you are looking for you may be disappointed. Its more so giving fresh out of the shower with a fruity shampoo. The bottle is so adorable!

It's not a gourmand scent. It's berry sweet and creamy but the floral notes are equally prominent. And slightly synthetic and musky. I wish it was a gourmand. Not a safe blind purchase. The longevity is surprisingly long lasting for an EDT( more than 6 hours). Update: need to let this macerate. Trust me.

A sweet fruity version of Cloud with a unique whimsical bottle and the cherry atomiser is so cute! Longevity is about six hours on me, sillage is very noticeable.

I bought a 5ml decant of Violet Vibes because I didn’t want to have another blind buy fail. I am so glad I got a small amount to test first. The notes are misleading, you’d think this would be a sweet, yummy, edible-like, gourmand but it’s not. I wouldn’t consider this a safe blind buy. Violet Vibes is sweet, but it has that chemical-like AG Cloud/Burberry Her/BR540 note in it, I really dislike that particular note so it’s a big “no” from me! If you love that note you’ll like this!

It starts out fine- strawberry milkshake and marshmallows! It smells pink and girly and cute. But then... about 10 minutes in, all I’m left with is this headache-inducing horrible, screechy sweet smell for hours and hours. Very strange since my skin usually eats up all the longest lasting fragrances. This is a huge no for me...

This was such a letdown. Bottle was so cute and I nearly blind bought it. Glad I got a sample instead. It smells just like BR540 and all of its followers. Maybe it’s closer to Ariana Grande Cloud. Not sure because I can’t stand either of them. It has that same hospital, dentist office, bandages and sterilized environment smell that BR540 has. So if you want that, then go for it. Are we not done with that yet? Why does an ice cream need to smell that way? It also has a plastic-like dry down.

For its performance and sillage, it's not worth the money AT ALL. It barely smells like anything and after 20 minutes it is GONE. Nothing like Ari's Cloud. Nothing like Now Women and most def nothing like Marshmallow blush. This is not gourmand, and it reminds me of a floral cleaning product that is so faint it doesn't last longer than a fart. It reminds me of Victoria's Secret Tease 2020, which I am NOT a fan of. Highly overpriced for what it offers.

My wife recently had the chance to try this, and she was immediately drawn in by its adorable ice cream sundae bottle. She mentioned it perfectly captures the whimsical world Anna Sui is known for. She initially thought that such an elaborately cute bottle might just house a novelty scent, perhaps a simple sugar spray aimed at a young audience. However, she felt that Anna Sui's artistry shone through, noting that despite the overtly whimsical packaging, the fragrance inside seemed like a legitimate fragrance with a well-structured olfactive profile. Putting it on, she found the opening was exactly what she had hoped for: a really lovely, fresh and fruity burst. She definitely got the sweet strawberry and a hint of that zesty lemon. As it settled, the heart of the fragrance came through to her as beautifully floral; she felt the jasmine and lotus created a soft, pleasant sweetness that was quite captivating. However, as the perfume dried down on her skin, she encountered what she described as a strange musk note in the base. It didn't seem to blend well with her skin chemistry and unfortunately, in her opinion, it took away from the earlier pleasant stages. While she found the initial and middle phases quite appealing, that particular musk in the base just didn't work for her. In terms of performance, she found it lasted a few hours on her skin before fading. While she felt the concept and the initial scent journey were delightful and very much in line with Anna Sui's playful aesthetic, the dry down wasn't a personal success for her due to that clashing musk note.

This one suffered some major mail shock from the ridiculous heat where I live! When I first received it, the juice was so weak I could hardly smell it at all. I guess the summertime is not a great time to order fresh light floral-fruity fragrances. However once it had time to cool down, I began to like it a lot more. The strength of the juice came forward when it started to cool off. This is a very youthful juice from Anna Sui, which is to be expected. I like this one because it reminds me of fresh strawberry ice cream with whipped cream. There is a fuzzy musky element to it that is a tiny bit similar to Mod Vanilla by Ariana Grande. This however, is unmistakably more strawberry. I really like the fruity ice cream scent this has in it! Fuzzy musky tart strawberry ice cream melting with whipped cream on top!
